The thing about Logan & Wade is that despite how people may think that Logan's always grumpy and 100% against Wade's antics, Logan was also the one who said, Not all of you was asleep. without missing a beat, completely unprompted when Wade asked how long he had been asleep.

Cherry on Top (Robin Buckley x Fem!Reader) Fluff
When the pining between Robin and the cute customer who comes into Scoops Ahoy becomes too much for Steve to bear, he hatches as plan to give them then gentle push they both so desperately need.
Word Count:1,184
Masterlist // Robin Buckley Masterlist
It was just a summer job Robin thought to herself. It's not forever.
Even so, working at Scoops Ahoy wasn't all that bad, sure the uniforms were silly, and slightly scratchy against her skin, the pay wasn't all that much, and sometimes customers were straight up rude. However, despite its ever-stacking list of cons, there were a few pros; such as staff discounts on ice cream, and working alongside Steve Harrington, who had surprisingly grown up a lot since high-school. Proving that he actually wasn't all that bad like she had been led to believe.
However Robin found herself unable to tear her eyes away from the cute customer who came in every Saturday, just to order the same thing she orders every time. One single scoop of chocolate, rainbow sprinkles with a cherry on top.
Robin watched on from behind the crack in the serving window as the girl's eyes sparkled, and her smile beamed. No doubt laughing at Steve's attempt at flirtatious banter.
Not that she’d ever tell him, but Robin was jealous of Steve. Jealous of the way the girl's eyes lit up when she looked at him, jealous of the way she laughed at every single one of his stupid jokes. How Steve seemed so effortlessly cool and calm, almost suave, around the girl that made Robin’s heart race annoyed her to no end.
“Hey Steve!” you cheer as you skip into Scoops ahoy on a hot Saturday afternoon. It was oddly quiet in the parlour today, save for a few people sitting in the booths
“Hey y/n! Same as usual?” he chirps back with his boyish smile.
“You know it!”
“Alright then, one scoop of chocolate, rainbow sprinkles and a cherry coming right up.” he smiles as he twirls his ice-cream scooper around with his fingers.
“So..Uh.. Steve, i-is Robin here today?” you ask him, your voice stuttering slightly with nerves.
“When are you just going to bite the bullet and ask her out already?”
“Keep your voice down will ‘ya, Harrington, jeez” you whisper-shout as you shush him, looking around to see if anyone heard him.
“What? So you don’t want to take her out on a date and make out with her then?” he teases, as he hands you your ice-cream.
“I didn’t say that…” you drawl out, as you hand Steve over your money.
“Look, you think she’s cute, she thinks you’re cute, I don’t know what more you’re waiting for?” He softly laughs with a shake of his head.
“Wait…Robin thinks I’m cute? Did she say something to you?” you splutter at this revelation.
“Just leave it with me, alright? Think of me as your wing-man.” Steve says all too confidently.
You eye him slightly, but ultimately decide that trusting him would be in your best interest, especially if it scored you a date with his best friend.
“I’ve got two tickets to see Footloose, c’mon Rob, don’t you wanna go with me..” Steve pleads down the phone.
Robin rolled her eyes at her friend. She could just see his floppy hair and dumb puppy-dog face in her mind, begging her to go with him.
“You’re actually asking me to go with you to see a musical? Steve, I thought you hated musicals? You told me you hated how unrealistic it was, and that ‘nobody bursts into song like that in real life’.” Robin teases with her impression of Steve.
“Yeah, I know but you love ‘em, besides I’ve heard good things about this one.”
Robin rolled her eyes at her friend, but she’d already made her mind up that she was going to go, Steve was her best friend, and she’d do anything to make him happy.
“Alright, what time is the movie?”
Robin Strolled up to the movie theatre, where Steve was already waiting for her outside.
“Hey! Robin!” Steve waves. “Over here!”
But as Robin got closer she could see the cute girl from the ice cream parlour.
“Hey look who I bumped into.” Steve smirked.
“Hi, Robin!” you wave cheerfully.
“Hey, yourself!” Robin replies, trying her best to play it cool. “So, what are you here to see?”
“Oh I was just about to buy myself some tickets to see Footloose. Truth be told I have a soft spot for musicals.” you explain.
“Hey, why don’t you just take my ticket?” Steve offers, raising his eyebrows at you. This was his plan all along. He’d told you as much, explaining what was going to happen before he even phoned Robin. He was going to bail at the last minute to give you two some time alone together. It’s not that he didn’t love spending time with Robin, but the way she pined over you was beginning to become unbearable, so Steve took it upon himself, as your wing-man and Robin’s best friend to give you both the push you needed.
Robin looked at her friend like he had two heads. What was he doing leaving her alone with the girl she had been crushing on so badly that she’d barely spoken two whole sentences to her?
“Oh Steve, you don’t have to do that!” you worry, before he assures that it’s no worries at all.
“No, honestly, I insist. Dustin called me up earlier, said he needs me to pick him and the rest of the boys up from their little nerd club.”
“Well if you're absolutely sure” you say as you take the ticket Steve offers you.
“You girls go ahead and have fun without me!” He smiles triumphantly.
Steve goes up to give Robin a hug before leaving, pulling her close enough to whisper in her ear.
“Enjoy your date, Dingus.” Steve whispers, pulling away from the hug with an affectionate smile.
You and Robin both sit through the movie, a shared bag of hot buttery popcorn sits between you both. Your hands grazing against each other a few times as you both reach for the bag at the same time, with a couple of mumbled apologies whispered to each other in between the music coming from the big screen.
The film draws to a close and you both exit the theatre with match smiles on your faces.
“I-I had a great time hanging out with you today.” Robin mumbles, her eyes looking down at the floor, because if she dared to look you in the eyes she would not be able to speak to you without fumbling over her words.
You tilt her chin up under your fingers, wanting to look at her properly.
You lean in close to her before pressing a soft kiss to her cheek, your lips brushing against her flushed features.
“I had a great time too!” you smile. “Perhaps we can do this again sometime, like a proper date?”
Robin beams at your suggestion, elated that this had gone well enough that you were willing to go on another date with her.
“Yeah, I’d like that. I’d like that a lot, actually.”
Robin was going to have to give Steve the biggest thank you hug ever when she saw him next.

September Rain
Chapter Three
Read from the beginning
Also on Wattpad
Chapter Two> < Chapter Four
“So class, there will be a new student joining us”
“Who changes schools in 10th standard?” Mona whispered.
“Poor thing, I hope she finds it okay” Khushi whispered back.
“Aah here she is,” Madhumati ma’am declared jovially.
All eyes turned comically towards the door.
Khushi looked on as a beautiful girl walked in.
“Thank you ma’am. Hello everyone, my name is Lavanya Kashyap. “
“Well dear” Madhumati ma’am smiled genially, “Tell us more about yourself “
“ I am from St Mary’s. And I was shifted here because my father is moving to London and he wanted me to continue my education in India. “
Her face set in a haughty, bored expression put Khushi off instantly.
“Not such a poor thing after all Khush” Mona smirked.
“That’s nice Lavanya. So let’s see here, Headmaster Manorama has sent a letter assigning you ,your house”
“Red house, you have gained a new member!”
NK hooted, while the rest clapped politely.
“Arnav, please ensure Lavanya gets to see around “
“Yes ma’am “
Arnav’s resounding yes grated on her nerves.
“Lucky bastard!” NK laughed.
“Nikhil, I won’t tolerate such language in my class!”
Khushi looked down at her notebook, drowning out the noise.
All she knew was that she didn’t want Arnav to be the one chaperoning the pretty new girl around. Why couldn’t ma’am have allotted a girl? Or some other boy?
“You are going to break that pencil missy” Preetika whispered from behind her.
Khushi let go of her death grip, oblivious to the knowing looks in her friends eyes.
—————
The bell gongs as the class flutters out for recess.
“Twenty minutes NK. Eat what you want in twenty minutes and I’ll see you on the basketball court “ Aman warned as he rushed out.
“Where is he going? Doesn’t he want to eat with us? “ NK frowned.
“He is dating Naina, you dumbo” Mona said.
“Naina Jha ? Our junior ?”
“Is that surprising?” Preetika asked.
“I guess not,” NK mumbled.
From the corner of her eyes, Khushi spied at Arnav standing close to Lavanya.
“Arnav! Aren’t you going to come to the cafeteria? Hi, Lavanya, I am Khushi. You are welcome to join us!”
“Hi,” Lavanya replied coolly.
“Umm guys, Lavanya wants to see the campus and the dorms first. I’ll take her there and will join you, if we get time”
Khushi stood in shock as Arnav grabbed his bag and left.
“What bullshit! They won’t get time to eat, this campus tour will take them at least an hour” Mona grunted out.
“Which man would let go of that opportunity girls,?”
“Excuse me?”
NK put up his hands.
“Preetika, I am just saying that you don’t dismiss a girl like Lavanya Kashyap. Her mom was a supermodel !”
“How do you even know all this?” Khushi frowned.
“I have contacts”, he shrugged.
“Her dad is the ultra rich Randeep Kashyap. And now her supermodel mom, Sara is divorcing him for a younger billionaire! It is all over the papers. Never heard of a messier divorce “
“Well for that she has my sympathies” Mona sighed.
“I guess Arnav knew about this?”
“Of course! The reds get the news fresh from the oven!” NK said smugly.
“Theatre club is waiting NK, your talents are wasted on us” Preetika giggled.
Khushi trailed behind, her appetite lost already.
———
“Thank you uncle” ,with a smile she collected her change.
Placing her bag of paints in her basket, Khushi was all set to paddle when a sight caused her to still.
Arnav. Laughing. With Lavanya.
Ice clutched her veins, as her stomach swooped in discomfort.
They probably couldn’t see her. But she could see the glorious two, with their ice creams walking across the park.
‘How long is this campus tour going to last?’ Khushi thought bitterly.
With a jolt, Khushi realised.
They look good together.
Arnav was a boy after all. What right did she have to expect him to like her back?
Biting down on her trembling lip, she rode away before she burst into tears.
————
Khushi dumped her bag on the floor.
Crashing onto her bed , she stuffed her head into the pillow. Trying to muffle her tears.
“Khushi?”
Damn it.
“Khushi what’s wrong?”
She felt her mattress dip, and a hand ran through her hair.
She looked up, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“I think I like Arnav”
“So? Why cry about it?” Mona asked.
“Because h-he likes L-Lavanya” she blurted out.
She closed her eyes, hating the pity clouding their eyes.
“You know that in one day?” Preetika asked gently.
“I have n-never seen him l-like this,” Khushi sighed with dejection.
“Khushi! Arnav is your friend -“
“I know. I am not going to tell him or anything. It’s not like I can do anything if he wants to date Lavanya.”
She drew circles on her bed absently.
“That’s not what I was saying. I want you to be honest with him rather than be in so much pain”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea Mona. Khushi wants him in her life. And it will be better for both of them to not bring this thing into the mix. Especially when she isn’t sure about Arnav’s feelings”
“How cynical of you!”
“And how naive of you!”
“Okay guys stop fighting.” Khushi brushed off her tears.
“I’ll be fine, okay? I don’t want to ask him. Preetika is right. And if he does end up with Lavanya…” she swallowed painfully , “I want to be a good enough friend to stand by him”
She gazed unseeingly into her palms. Everything was changing this year.

Wolfstar Microfics - Teenagers
Words: 917
@wolfstarmicrofic
TW - alcohol?
Based on a true story from when I was 17, a long time ago.
***
Sirius had never been more grateful for his brother being a massive nerd—a theatre nerd to be precise. Because if Regulus hadn’t signed up for drama classes, he never would have met Remus, (tall, mysterious, Scottish Remus) and reluctantly introduced him to Sirius, who enthusiastically introduced him to all of their friends. Now Remus came to parties and gave him a shy wave when he saw him in the corridor at school. It was endearing, to say the least.
He wasn’t sure how or why or even when they had exchanged numbers, but they spent most evenings texting about everything and nothing and all that was in between. Sirius had felt like something was bubbling there, but maybe that was wishful thinking. When Sirius started seeing Gilderoy, who was considerably older than all of them, there was something about the way Remus’ tone changed that broke him a little bit
The week he broke up with Gilderoy, ironically for being incredibly immature for someone in their mid-twenties, James decided they’d throw a celebratory party because his parents were going away for the weekend.
***
Sirius went looking for some more coke for his rum and ended up in the garage. He opened the fridge door and found a bottle, to which he added rum and took a long drink. He jumped as the garage door clicked shut and spun around to find Remus staring at him.
“Hi,” Sirius said softly.
Remus didn’t say anything as he crossed to where Sirius stood, took the bottle from his hand, and set it on top of the fridge. Sirius’ eyes followed the stretch of Remus’ arms greedily, but then Remus held Sirius’ jaw gently but firmly and tilted it to look at him. He nodded and raised an eyebrow, a question. Sirius nodded quickly and before he could process what was happening, Remus’ mouth was on his and he couldn’t think of anything but Remus. When Remus’ hand grasped a fistful of his hair and pulled gently, Sirius let out a noise that he didn’t know he was capable of making and pulled Remus even closer.
The sound of someone laughing as they approached the garage door made them jump apart, wide-eyed and breathing heavily. Oh. Remus grabbed Sirius’ drink and handed it to him before turning towards the door. When it opened, Lily and Regulus looked at them suspiciously.
“Alright, lads?” Lily asked, sounding just like James.
“Peachy, darling. And you?” Sirius strolled past Remus, towards the door.
“Remus?”
“Am grand thanks, Lils.” He leant against the closed fridge. “Just looking for some coke.”
In his Glaswegian accent, to their ears, it did not sound like he said coke. Lily spluttered and followed Sirius, leaving Regulus frowning as he studied Remus.
“So, my brother?”
“What about him?” His smirk irked Regulus immensely.
“I have eyes. Do you think I didn't the way you perked up once you heard he’d sacked Gilderoy off, or how he looks at you when we let them sneak in to watch us rehearse? I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, but… just think it through.” Regulus sighed. “But you could both do a lot worse than each other so, whatever, I guess.”
“Awwww, is this you giving me your blessing?” Remus walked towards him and patted him on the arm, “I’ll be sure to preserve his innocence, don’t you worry.”
“You shouldn’t be allowed to drink. Some people need inhibitions, Remus.” Regulus said, to an empty room.
Regulus made his way outside to sit with Benjy, Marlene, and Lily while they smoked. Lily burst into giggles as soon as she saw him.
“You look scandalised, Reg.” She patted the garden wall next to her, so he sat down. “Did you tell Remus you’ve got a shotgun and a shovel and no one would miss him?”
“I didn’t, because I almost feel like it’s Sirius that needs that talk.” Regulus rubbed his eyes. “I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming.”
Slowly, more and more people filed outside to smoke or get some air. Dorcas perched herself on Marlene’s lap, and James tried to perch on Lily but swiftly ended up on the floor. Through the huge kitchen window, illuminated against the night outside, Dorcas spotted Remus filling up the kettle.
“He’s making tea isn’t he?” She laughed, “Oh bless him.”
Before anyone could say anything else, Sirius appeared behind him and spun him around, wrapping his arms around Remus’ neck as Remus lifted him to sit on the kitchen counter. Their lips met hungrily and as Remus started kissing his way down Sirius’ neck, James started applauding and catcalling, which everyone soon joined in on. Remus buried his pink face in the crook of Sirius’ neck.
“If we don’t acknowledge them, they’ll go away, right?”
“Oh no, the opposite I’d say. You’d be better off taking a bow.”
“Why only me?”
“You’re the actor. You’re well practiced.” Sirius shrugged as Remus pulled away slightly to look at him.
Remus blinked at him, “If I take a bow, you’re taking one with me.”
Without waiting for an answer, Remus lifted Sirius off the counter, grabbed his hand, and bowed dramatically at the window, Sirius following suit a second later. Cheers erupted from the garden, Sirius wouldn’t be surprised if the neighbours called in a noise complaint, but he couldn’t bring himself to care.
He tugged Remus’ hand. “Come on, my room has curtains and a lock that mostly works.”
Remus did not need telling twice.

Fic Under The Cut!
┗━•❃°•°❀°•°❃•━┛
It was Valentine's Day, a day of love, appreciation, and happiness. Everyone at Kamiyama High School in Class 2-A was tasked with writing a letter to who they loved and appreciated the most, and what they loved or liked about them.
As they were promptly shared with the class, everybody was waiting patiently for their name to be said by the other students. This also included Nene, who had been waiting the entire class to hear her name. Despite her kindness towards the other students, her name was not called by anybody.
Nene listened to the pleasantly embarrassed laughs and appreciative coos from the recipients. They hid their faces in their hands, smiled wobbly smiles, and put their hands on their hearts with tearful faces.
Nene awaited her turn for the burst of surprise, giddiness, gratitude at hearing her name from someone else’s mouth. It never came.
Maybe she shouldn’t have expected anything. She was kind, sure, but she was no one’s best friend. She shouldn’t mind. She understood. Maybe she didn’t want that extra attention anyway.
Still, in her lonely desk in the corner, Nene felt her heart sag.
After the bell rang to mark the end of class, Nene was nowhere to be seen. She had run out of school at the end of the day, not caring who saw her as she waited until the right moment alone to enter the Wonderland SEKAI.
Miku and KAITO, who had been working together on a show idea for Tsukasa and the others, noticed Nene enter. Something, however, was off about the grayish-green haired girl. The two vocaloids realized that Nene wasn't feeling her best, but before they could ask about it, she'd run off to hide.
Nene didn’t know how long she’d spent curled up backstage of the theatre, before she heard a bright and bubbly but concerned voice through the curtain.
“Nene-chan? Nene-chan, please come out!”
Slowly, she peeled her head from the wall.
“NENE! WHERE ARE YOU HIDING!”
Ah, and that earth-quaking volume…
“Perhaps she’s behind the stage?”
And the most familiar voice of all.
Wiping her eyes with her sleeve, Nene called pitifully, “I’m here…”
Her sore eyes beheld a ball of pink bouncing into the lightless hollow. She gasped and was at Nene’s side in a flash.
“Nene! What’s wrong? My sadness senses were tingling, and then Miku went ‘Brrrrrrrllllll— brrrrrrrlllll—’ which meant someone was lost in Sekai!!” Emu threw herself around Nene, who could only hiccup in protest.
Nene felt so bad about burdening the others with her bad mood, but nothing could really come out. Finally, in tears, she'd speak in a quavering tone, her voice breaking and cracking. "S-Sorry....I-I'm sorry...I-I didn't mean to w-worry anybody...I-I just..."
"Nene-chan..." Emu held her tightly, rubbing her weeping partner's back gently as she let Nene express her current emotions to the three of them. Nene would sniffle, squeezing her eyes shut when she felt Rui gently stroke her hair with his fingers.
“Nene,” Rui called lowly, voice soothing and gentle as milk. At that one word, a dam broke within Nene’s chest.
Sobbing, Nene buried her face in Emu’s pink sweater. “It’s really not that big of a deal. I-I think… I’m just being dramatic.”
“Nonsense!” Tsukasa, who had been quietly panicking as soon as he saw her crying, nestled into her other side. His star-like warmth was like a plush, constellation-patterned blanket. “You’re never dramatic! Even I would be upset if no one thought of writing for me.”
“You can be honest with us, Nene.” Rui pulled his fingers through her hair again, a massaging tug on her scalp. Emu rubbed her cheek against her head.
Nene let Tsukasa pull her legs into his lap. “Maybe there’s just nothing to say about me… Nothing to-” Nene swallowed. She didn’t want to voice her thoughts, but she’d promised to be honest. “Nothing to love…”
Nene buried her face into Emu's shoulder once more out of shame, scared of what her partners would think. To her surprise, however, they showed her nothing but absolute kindness, Emu leaning her head slightly to kiss Nene's cheeks, Tsukasa rubbing her back, and Rui knelt down to hold her hand and massage her shoulders.
"Nene, you don't have to deal with this alone, y'know that, right?" Rui would ask softly, his fingertips gently tapping and drumming on her shoulders. "Yeah, Nene-chan! You know that whoever said that there wasn't anything to love or write about you is wrong, right? They're just jealous of you!" Emu pouted softly as she planted many tiny kisses all over Nene's forehead, nose, and cheeks.
Nene would reluctantly nod to their questions, still feeling down in the dumps about today. She didn't know what to do in order to feel better, so she'd just listen to her partners soothe her hurting pains, and comfort her.
Rui hummed, sensing that Nene still didn’t quite believe them. “There’s plenty of things to love about you, that we love about you.” Rui leaned over to nuzzle into her cheek.
His feather-like breaths and kisses pushed Nene to squirm away and giggle. As she shoved at Rui’s head, he chuckled.
“For example, your cute little laugh.” Rui grinned like a cat. “And your peculiarly ticklish cheeks.”
“Ruhuhuhihi!” Nene whined, finding refuge in Emu’s shoulder. “Stahahap, you meheheanie!”
“I didn’t know your cheeks were ticklish!” Emu’s eyes sparkled in a truly terrifying way. “I’m gonna getcha~! Let’s see that smile we love-love-love so much!”
Emu peppered noisy smooches all over Nene’s skin, even blowing a small raspberry on her blushing cheeks. Nene squealed and ducked away. “AhaEHEmuhuhu!”
“Oho? You didn’t know, Emu?” Rui raised an amused brow. “It’s her deepest, darkest secret. Oops!”
“RuihiHIHIhiiii! You traHAhaitor!” Nene managed to land a considerable slap on Rui’s face, and he gasped in offense.
Rui sniffled performatively. “Nene! My dearest friend, how could you?”
“Ah! I see my inventive partners have come up with an answer to our sad Nene plight.” announced Tsukasa, who noticed the drying tears on Nene’s well-kissed cheeks. “Look at that radiant smile! A wonderful muse!”
"Nohohohoo i-it's nohohohohohot!" Nene giggled nervously, covering her face in embarrassment as she tried to move away from her partners. This caused Emu to persist and continue her tickly antics, her fingers gently stroking Nene's cheek in a tingly way.
"Awwweeee~ Nene-chan is so cuteee, it's so wonderhoy~!" Emu exclaimed happily, continuing to stroke Nene's cheeks. The grayish-green haired girl would finally manage to turn away completely, hiding her face with her hands.
“Well, we can’t allow that!” Tsukasa took advantage of Nene’s legs in his lap and skittered his nails over her knees. Nene shrieked and jumped but couldn’t escape his hold. Cheering, Emu bound Nene in a hug and squeezed her like a balloon.
“EHEHEMUhuhu! I caHAHA- TsuKAHASA!”
“You’re so fluffy-fluffy toasty-toasty, Neneeee, I just wanna squeesh you forever!” With exuberance, Emu kneaded Nene’s sides, watching her squirm back and forth and try to kick her legs.
“LEHEhehet mehehe goho! You dAHAdohorks!”
Rui muffled a snicker and teased at the back of Nene’s neck; now she was twisting every which way like a faulty folding chair.
Rui simpered. “Go for her iliac crest!”
“Her what?”
"What's an eye-lii-ack crest?" Mused Emu, who was very curious to know what Rui was talking about. Nene knew exactly where this was going as she flailed her arms about in protest. She'd have no choice but to squeak and hiccup as she spoke through giggle-induced words.
"Nohoho-No! R-Ruhuhuhuhuii! D-Don't tehehell thehehehemmm!"
Tsukasa and Emu couldn't help but wonder what was about to happen, both of them listening intently to Rui. They'd wait for an explanation, curious what has Nene giggling so nervously.
Rui shrugged and decided that showing was better than telling. Slowly, his hands descended, curling into claws, as Nene hugged her knees as close as she could to her chest in defense.
“Dohon’t- Rui! D-Don’t! NohoHOHAHA!”
Rui’s thumbs massaged the top of Nene’s hip. She exploded from her ball and grabbed onto the nearest thing — Tsukasa — to stabilize herself against the ticklish shocks traversing her nerves.
“You remembered what it was, Nene! Such a clever pupil. Isn’t she amazing?” Rui sounded tearfully proud. Desperately, Nene shook her head.
“YOUHUHAHAHA nahaHEHERD! RuhuhuHIHIHI!”
With Rui gently but cruelly digging into one of her worst spots, Tsukasa boldly drawing on and under her knees, and Emu pinching sporadically around her middle, Nene’s face began to ache from how wide she was laughing. Her stomach pretzeled, warm from the giddiness of love and fluster.
"Guysss! We should go over more things we love about Nene-chan! I'll start! I love how red your cheeks and nose get! I love how you hide your cute little smile~! Who's next!
"I also love how softspoken you are when you tease, it's so unexpected to me, but I love those moments nonetheless." Tsukasa would chirp in, gently squeezing her calves every now and then. "And as for me, I love it when you giggle so hard that your nose scrunches up and you end up snorting, and I especially love how cute and tiny your dimples are. Such an adorable sight, is it not~?"
"NohoHOHOHOAhahaha! N-NOHOHOHOhohohot adohohoHOHOHOHORAblehehehehe! IHIHIHIhihit tihihiHIHIHI- NAHAhahahahahahaha!" Nene couldn't finish her words out of embarrassment. She hated saying that she was ticklish. But, unfortunately for her, Rui caught onto this, and teased lovingly out loud to catch Nene off guard.
"Oh? It what, Nene? What are you trying to say? What t-word are you referring to?"
Nene completely combusted, trying to prevent this from happening. "NOHOHOHohohoho! D-DohohohoHOHOHON'T YOHOHOHOUHUhuhuhu dahahaHEHEHEHEARE STAHAhahahart thihihihis!"
"Are you saying touchy~? Or teasy~? Or even tastyyyy~?" Rui grinned widely, knowing exactly what his ass was doing. He was trying to trick Nene, and it was clear that Emu and Tsukasa were both in on this.
"DUHUHUhuhumbahahAHAHAHASS! IHIHIHIhihit tihihiHIHIHIHICKLES!"
Nene immediately tried to cover her mouth, realizing what she had gotten herself into. "W-WahahahaHAHAIHIHIHIT NOHOHOhohoho! DohohoHOHOAHAHAHAN'T!"
“Ticklish, you say~?” Rui’s grin was chilling. “Is that so? Well well well… isn’t that just prrrrecious?”
Suddenly, all the tickling stopped. Nene could only feel the phantom tingles of what had just passed and the force of her lungs heaving in air. But she couldn’t trust it. She knew what was about to happen.
Sweet breath fluttered over her ear. “Aww, you should have told us, Nene~,” Emu whispered. Nene muffled a squeak. Rarely was Emu a menacing presence, but this time, Nene’s heart only pounded in dread.
A finger brushed a slick strand of hair behind her other ear. Nene shivered. “She seems nervous. Isn’t the suspense just killing you?” She never thought she’d fear Tsukasa’s quiet voice.
Someone else was pulling her in. Something warm teased at her neck.
“Doho- don’t. Guys! Plehease! Nonono—“
Shrilling in ticklish laughter, Nene wriggled about to try and get away as Rui planted tickly kisses all over her neck. Giggling along, Emu would scribble her nimble fingers under Nene's armpits as the light tickles got to the poor girl.
All Nene could get out was an "EhehehEHEHEEK! NOHOHOHohohoho!" as she squirmed and flailed about. She was so ticklish, but would never admit to it.
Nene squealed, thrashed, blushed, cried for mercy, and slapped aggressively at Rui’s shoulder and elbowed Emu as best she could.
“WaHAhaHAHAIT NAhaHAT ThEEEEREheHAHA! NoooohOOOOO!”
The sounds of Rui’s lips trembled up to her ear in waves and she crushed Emu’s fingers beneath her upper arm. Tears washed over her eyes and her laughter became so screechy that even Tsukasa was concerned.
He rested his chin and a kiss on Emu’s shoulder and pinched Rui’s cheek. Both of them received the memo and slowed their attack. Rui smoothed the sides of Nene’s shirt. Emu fixed her hair and moved aside to let Nene fall into Tsukasa’s lap. Nene hiccuped on a breath and covered her face, giggles interspersed.
“I’m sorry… to get so sappy on you guys,” Nene slurred.
Smiling, Rui purred, “Nene, we love you when you’re happy. We love you when you’re sad too.” He coaxed her hands away to reveal her pink nose and pursed lips.
Tsukasa cupped her face with a grin that was difficult to take seriously, but cute. “Yes! Your crying face is charming!”
“But when you smile, you’re even more charming! Cuz we know you’re happy.” Emu’s chipper face popped in from the side of her vision.
“Forget it. You guys are sappier than the ending theme of a video game.” And together, they laughed.

A face hidden in her hands, a tearful face, a burst of surprise, giddiness, gratitude.
But mostly embarrassment.

As for Maddie’s dad, Matt, he was consistently kind to you making your feelings for him grow. You knew you needed to do something about it, to confess your feelings. The only problem was every time you would flirt with him, he was either oblivious or ignoring it. Little did you know, Maddie picked up on your flirting with her dad and planned to help you out.

Tonight was the big night. The first graders were putting on a play about Little Red Riding Hood. Sweet little Maddie was none other than Little Red Riding Hood herself. She was thrilled to be the leading role and, according to Matt, took her role very seriously.
At school, Maddie was all giddy about her ‘big debut’. You weren’t sure where she heard that from but you rolled with it nonetheless, agreeing that you couldn’t wait to see her in action.
You, along with a few other teachers, were assisting the theatre teacher in getting all the kids in their little outfits and hair done. You had been working on a little boy’s outfit when you heard your name being excitedly called out. You finished up with the little boy and turned around seeing Maddie beaming and dragging her dad and another man who looked awfully similar to Maddie’s dad towards you. That must be her uncle she’s told me about. “Hi Maddie!” You greeted her smiling wide. She always made you smile regardless of how you were feeling.
Maddie practically tackled you in a hug. “Can you help me get ready? Daddy and Uncle Nick are clueless.” She sighed, rolling her eyes and making you giggle.
“You’re being dramatic Maddie.” Matt shook his head.
“I wonder where she gets that from.” Nick spoke, looking directly at his brother who had an offended expression on his face at the accusation.
You attempted to hold back a laugh until Maddie burst out laughing at her dad and uncle. Maddie’s little laugh was so contagious that you couldn’t help but joining her. “I can help you Maddie. Let me gather up my things and we can make you the best Little Red Riding Hood anyone has ever seen.”
After several minutes of helping Maddie with her outfit and hair, you were done. You held up a mirror for Maddie to examine your handiwork. Her reaction said it all. Her eyes grew wide and her mouth hung open, clearly surprised. “Can you get me ready all the time Miss Y/N?!” She spun around to face you, eagerly waiting for your answer.
You weren’t really sure how to respond to her question but finally decided on something. “I would love to Maddie but your dad does a great job.”
Before Maddie could respond, there was a knock on a nearby wall. You and Maddie simultaneously looked up to see her dad and uncle. “Daddy! Uncle Nick! Look how cute I am!” Maddie jumped up and did a twirl for them. “Miss Y/N did so much better than you daddy.” Maddie stated matter-of-factly, putting emphasis on ‘so’.
“You’re right Maddie. She did way better.” Nick chimed in before Matt could reply, also adding emphasis.
Matt wasn’t even going to respond because he was so in awe at how fantastic of a job you did with Maddie’s outfit and hair. He was torn on his feelings at the moment. On one hand, he felt something in his heart that told him to ‘go for it and ask her out’, but on the other hand, he wasn’t sure if he was ready. There was part of his heart that wouldn’t let go of Maddie’s mom, that wouldn’t allow him to move on.
The theatre teacher made her rounds informing everyone backstage that it was almost time for the play to begin. During that time, Nick lightly elbowed his older brother to grab his attention while you held a conversation with the theatre teacher about the play. “Dude, you gotta make a move. I just met her and can already tell she’s a total catch plus Maddie loves her.” It pained Nick to see his brother so torn and possibly passing up on being happy again, on possibly giving Maddie a whole family again.
Matt sighed, meeting Nick’s bright blue eyes. “I just need some time to think it through. I don’t know if I’m ready for this yet. Maddie’s mom was my first everything and having her taken away so suddenly and tragically makes this way more complicated than some random breakup.” Matt’s chocolate brown eyes began getting misty as he remembered his late wife and Maddie’s mother. He’ll never forget the call he received to inform him of the car accident that resulted in her passing. It had been four years ago, but for Matt, it was still fresh.
The men didn’t know that Maddie was deviously eavesdropping on their conversation. Maddie was smarter than she let on when it came to reading people’s interactions. She had seen how her dad would seemingly have hearts in his eyes when her teacher was around and how Miss Y/N would flirt with her daddy. Maddie had seen enough Disney movies to know what love was, at least what her idea of love was. Upon hearing her Uncle Nick encouraging her daddy, Maddie knew what she had to do and she would need help from her partner in crime, Uncle Nick.
Soon the announcement of the play about to begin came. You helped direct Maddie and the nearby kids to their places as Matt and Nick wished Maddie good luck before heading to their seats in the front row. Maddie decided to concoct her plan later, she had to focus on being the best Little Red Riding Hood ever.
After all the students were in their places, you took a seat to off to the side to give encouragement when they needed it. You caught Maddie’s eyes as you scanned the over the students. You gave her a big smile and a thumbs up to which she beamed.
Soon the play was in full swing. Everything was going smoothly, Maddie was nailing her lines and so we’re the other children. You glanced out into the audience and the parents and friends of the students were loving it. You noticed Matt looking in your direction, you smiled and waved. He did the same in return and Nick whispered into Matt’s ear. You were a little curious and starting to be self conscious. Surely that was a coincidence, right? Why would Nick be whispering about you? Maybe he was saying something about the play. You shook the thoughts away and turned your attention back to Maddie delivering her lines.
Once the play was over, the students took a bow and posed for pictures with their parents and guardians. In the meantime, you were packing up your things.
“Miss Y/N!” You heard Maddie yell your name over the commotion of the room. You looked up to see Maddie excitedly waving you over.
When you finally got close enough, Maddie asked if she could have a picture with her favorite teacher to which you nodded, not trusting your voice because your heart was melting at Maddie’s sweet request and the fact she called you her favorite teacher this time instead of ‘best teacher ever’. You crouched down next to Maddie who threw her arm around your neck. You both smiled wide as Matt took the photo.
“Alright, let’s take our star out for dinner! She deserves whatever she wants, right Maddie? You were the best Little Red Riding Hood ever.” Nick suggested, a grin wide on his face as Matt shook his head which didn’t go unnoticed by Nick. “Don’t give me that ‘we have food at home’ line.” He warned the brown eyed man. Matt just sighed knowing that Nick was right, they should celebrate how well Maddie did.
“Fine, what’s the plan Maddie?” Matt asked, turning his attention to his daughter.
“Spaghetti!” Maddie exclaimed. “Oh! Can you come with us Miss Y/N?”
You weren’t sure what to say being put on the spot like that. Thankfully Matt spoke up before you had to. “She probably already has plans for dinner Maddie.”
Honestly you didn’t have any plans unless you called watching tv and eating a sandwich a plan. You made the mistake of glancing at Maddie who had her puppy eyes on paired with a little pout. Welp, she’s totally getting her way. “Actually, I would love to join you if that’s okay.” You saw how Maddie’s eyes lit up in excitement. She grabbed her uncle’s hand and pulled him towards the exit of the auditorium, you and her dad trailing behind.
Mission Happily Ever After is ready.

"i don't think i'll ever understand musicals the way you do" is something i've heard from one of my friends a couple of days ago when i told him i'm about to cross the whole country just to see one of those (my favourite one!) live in theatre. and i can't blame him. if you'd have told me a year ago that i would do something like that, i'd probably have laughed in your face. life is so unpredictable. i guess i have changed a lot. and i could write thousands of essays about how musicals helped me get through the shittiest period of my life, but we are not going to talk about this today. today we are talking about in the heights, the first musical i got a chance to experience live in theatre, hopefully not last. so grab a cup of coffee and make yourself comfortable, this is going to be the longest essay you've ever seen, friends.
a little warning: spoilers. a lot of them actually. so if, by any chance, you haven't seen/heard it yet and you are going to, don't read it.
first thing i feel like i need to mention is that they had this mini bar inside the theatre and you could order a lot of different drinks there and one of them was called abuela's coffee. i heard one lady explaining to someone that it's actually coffee with condensed milk. my jaw dropped and i was like CAN I STAY HERE FOREVER, PLEASE? for those who don't understand why, here's a quote from the first song:
USNAVI: abuela, my fridge broke, i got café but no con leche ABUELA CLAUDIA: try my mother's old recipe: one can of condensed milk
so this was my first "OH! THEY GET IT!" moment (a little note here: i had a lot of oh, they get it moments, mostly because i don't have any people around me who understand musicals the way i do... honestly, you'd have to live inside my brain). that was the first time ever when i could actually be in the room where it happens with all those people who get it and care about it as much as i do (mostly actors and people responsible for the whole show tho, but we will get to this later).
let's get to the show. so when i finally went inside and i saw the stage, i already had tears in my eyes (don't judge me please). usnavi's store, abuela's door, daniela and carla's salon, all those puerto rican, cuban and dominican flags (one couple behind me was trying to figure out which one is which and it was funny because i knew and i wanted to scream)... listening and memorizing the whole soundtrack is one thing. being able to experience it all live is something else. all those things around me were so familiar and this was the first time in months (MONTHS! OR EVEN YEARS!) i felt really understood. after all, it was all like a little celebration of lin's story (the one i love with all my heart) and i truly felt like home. so that was another OH! THEY GET IT! moment.
i don't think i'm going to talk about every single song here, that's not the point. i will talk about my favourite moments, but also about things that didn't work very well in my opinion (again: this was a polish version so all the songs were translated into polish. and they did a really great job here, surprisingly. but it wasn't perfect, more about that later).
one thing you need to understand is that i will never be normal about musicals so of course i had to burst into tears at the very first song (i don't even know why, i think i was a little bit too excited). i was actually crying in the most random moments like when i first saw nina or at the end of carnaval del barrio because I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT (who the hell cries at carnaval del barrio when everyone is having the time of their lives lol, me apparently).
ok, so the first song. the choreography, oh my god. it was everything. the translation was also pretty good here, i need to say this was probably one of my favourite moments. imagine me leaving today giggling like a child when usnavi came on that stage and started rapping, i was in heaven. also, i have to admit, the cast was amazing. i could never imagine anyone better for this role (and again, i am talking about polish actors because everyone knows who's the best usnavi of them all). he was cute and charming and awkward and so adorkable and also really handsome. he was actually perfect in my opinion.
i kinda lost my mind when i saw nina for the first time. first of all: i already knew who was going to play her and let's just say i fell in love with this actress before i even saw her live on that stage. this was important to me, because (as some of you know) nina rosario is my favourite character. and oh my god, she was an absolute perfection. what a voice, sweet jesus. i'm being serious, this girl is so talented, give her every award (i honestly hope i will have a chance to see her again one day, i'm just crazy about her). and breathe was so good! polish version was amazing, i was so scared they would screw it up, but they didn't, so all's good (this song is very important to me, ok?). also, she's a phenomenal actress, i could feel all her emotions for real. and of course i cried, what did you expect?
i don't have that much to say about benny, except that he was really cute and he had amazing chemistry with nina, so once again, the casting was really good. i mean, he is not chris jackson of course, but i have decided i'm not going to compare all those actors because everyone knows at this point how much i love OBC, i was trying to have an open mind. vanessa was also pretty great, amazing voice and her dancing skills, wow, just wow. i could talk about all those actors for days actually, but i'm not going to do that, so i will just quickly mention that i absolutely loved daniela and carla, abuela claudia made me cry, sonny was the funniest character in the whole play and i don't think i will ever recover after piragua guy's performance (i was the only person in the audience who was laughing when he came on that stage, they don't get it, ok? polish people have no sense of humour and that's a fact). actually, there were a lot of funny moments (obviously) and i was the only person who was laughing, god help me.
so let's get to the first thing that was a little disappointing for me. you will not believe it, but it was actually... 96,000 (this is one of my favourite songs and i seriously can't live like this). it's not the translation tho (it was honestly fine), it's the voice overlapping part at the end (again, the best thing ever, just listen to we don't talk about bruno from encanto and non-stop from hamilton and you will understand why it works so well in every lmm's song). the thing is, you could actually only hear vanessa's part and i wanted to die, because EXCUSE ME. i always sing usnavi's part and you could barely hear a word from it. but apart from that, the rest was fine, the choreography was amazing and it's just something i needed to mention because i had thoughts about it.
paciencia y fe! ok besties, i have thoughts, again. abuela claudia was absolutely incredible, also, her relationship with usnavi is something that you can't see in the movie version (they were so sweet i wanted to curl up and die. i knew about it before, i saw slime tutorial with obc on yt, ok? i'm pretty sure lin would be mad at me for watching bootlegs lol. i just wanted to say this). the translation didn't work out at the very end of the song tho, because when in the og version abuela sings about the "winning ticket", everyone knows already she won the lottery. i don't remember polish translation exactly, but it was something with double meaning, depends on how you interpret it, and i'm 100% sure people who didn't know the plot just didn't catch it. the rest of the song was absolutely beautiful tho.
when you're home. i was so afraid of this one, because i am totally crazy about this song (did i ever mention lin wrote this one after one of his first dates with vanessa? no? yes? ok i'll shut up about this now). oh, they did a really great job with it and it's a relief. i have nothing else to say, except that i was crying like a baby, but this song always makes me cry so what did you expect exactly? one of the best moments for sure. again, nina and benny's chemistry was absolutely incredible.
as much as i loved the club, i was actually really disappointed with one part, which is usnavi's famous "jealous i ain't jealous, i can take all these fellas, wHaTeVaaaaa". i've been waiting so long for this! and they messed it up with their stupid cringy translation which i don't even remember at the moment but usnavi was actually mad at benny and he cursed? ANYWAY. the rest of the song was great and the choreography was absolutely phenomenal, oh vanessa! let me get the next one! (i love her so much, she was amazing here). a little note from me: no one was laughing at the "no hablo ingles" part, NO ONE BUT ME!!! THEY DON'T GET IT! WTF! i was so mad (i am aware of the fact that most people probably didn't even know this story before and they just wanted to see a musical, not THE MUSICAL, which is totally fine. but sweet jesus, where is their sense of humour? they left it at home or what?).
and blackout was that part where the voice overlapping effect worked very well, so all's good. actually, one of the best moments for me as well. people were actually so confused when all the lights went down, but that was just so amazing. all the panic! everybody was screaming, crying! WE ARE POWERLESS! THE END OF ACT I!!! oh, i had the time of my life.
i had this weird feeling that they didn't exactly know how to translate most of hundreds of stories so they just made this song shorter than it actually is. which is fine i guess. honestly, it's better than bad translation, so i can forgive them. what i absolutely can't forgive tho is that the audience wasn't laughing at US NAVY. polish people, you have no fucking taste. i said what i said. and then again, usnavi and abuela's relationship was so sweet this song actually made me cry (mostly because i knew what was coming but also, i was just this weird girl who was sitting there in the second row and was crying at the most random moments).
ok, guys, honestly. carnaval del barrio was the best moment from the entire musical. oh, how much i want to experience it again! daniela was absolutely incredible, carla was so sweet, piragua guy stole the whole fucking show for me (seriously guys! he was just so amazing!). also, those little details i have never noticed before? i can't even tell if the same thing happened in the original version (the quality of that bootleg is actually terrible), but benny dancing with american flag somewhere in the background was so fucking funny and i don't think i will ever get over that part where at the end they were all still dancing and celebrating and nina and usnavi just ran away as fast as they could because... because you guys know what just happened. also, this is the moment i started crying.
i was so scared of it. let me tell you one thing, i experienced abuela's death at least fifty times and i still cry every single time. so atención is something i have to mention, because all the emotions and kevin's shaky voice made me burst into tears right away, and this time i wasn't the only one because i saw a lot of people crying when they realized what happened (i also heard a lot of OHs when he said abuela passed away, so yes, most of them didn't know this story and they were surprised). and alabanza was something else. believe me when i tell you i am writing this with tears in my eyes, i have never cried so much in public. this was the moment i was the most scared of and i was absolutely right because holy fuck. i was a mess. all the actors with those candles singing alabanza a doña claudia! (yes, they didn't translate it, all the spanish parts were left like in the original version and i am so grateful for that), it was just so sad and so beautiful. and this time i was actually like oh, they get it now (everyone was speechless and people were crying).
everyone must know at this point how much i adore champagne and i wasn't disappointed (thank god!). once again, usnavi was absolutely adorable here and people were actually laughing this time (also thank god!). how do you get this gold shit off? (my favourite line from the whole musical) was translated really well and the moment when usnavi and vanessa kissed! with all lights on them! this was so emotional and the audience reacted so well! we were all clapping (it was so funny to pretend like i didn't know it was gonna happen haha i was just as excited as all of them and once again i was like OH! THEY GET IT!). 10/10, would recommend.
if you think i wasn't crying during the last song, think again. one thing i absolutely hate about the movie version is that they actually changed the graffiti that made usnavi stay in washington heights, but i'm not gonna talk about that and i'm not gonna talk about vanessa also being there in the movie. in the original version it was a portrait of abuela claudia made by graffiti pete and oh boy, i lost my mind (i knew about it but i still lost my mind because it was absolutely beautiful). i got the feeling it was a little rushed in our polish version, but i can forgive them because it still made me cry. also, at the very end, usnavi did not only finally acknowledge he's home, when the song was over he pretty much told the audience that we are all home right now and may i just say... i felt that. i was home. they made me believe for the first time in my life i was where i belong, and somehow that was everything.
one thing about me is that this is actually all new to me. this was my first musical i saw live in theatre (and also lin's first child, which is exactly how it was supposed to be i think), and believe me when i tell you i've never had this much fun in my entire life, not even at all the concerts of my favourite artists. it was worth every money. it was worth spending 11 hours on the train and 11 more on my way back home, which by the way we should normalize (people are doing crazy things just to see their favourite artists on the stage and it's considered normal, so why can't we consider THIS normal?). anyway, i don't expect anyone around me to understand it the way i do, but i feel like i really found my thing, and it's all because of lin-manuel miranda, our beautiful puerto rican genius. he made me believe musicals can be cool and i truly wish i could thank him for that one day.
and like i said, in the heights is my favourite story with my favourite characters and i listened to it so many times i have memorized all the little details. experiencing it live is something completely different tho and i think it's safe to say this was the best night of my entire life. even tho most of the people in the audience didn't really get it, i finally felt like i was a part of this world created by my favourite genius and for the first time ever i felt understood. so i think i can say that now: i found my island, guys, i'm there, i'm home!
#if you were able to read the whole thing: congrats#also another note from me: i apologize for all those “they get it” “they dont get it”#i swear to god i am not making fun of anyone#you guys just know how much i am into it#and if other people were just there to enjoy it it's totally fine!#not everyone has to be obsessed!#but i am!#so i just wanted to explain it ok?#good.#also i apologize for it being so long but i had so much to say and i still feel like i didn't say everything i wanted#feel free to leave a comment or ask any questions if you want#now if you think i will finally shut up about in the heights on my silly little blog think again#i love it even more now if that's possible#and another explanation: i'm gonna tag this as my countdown because again i want all my ith posts in one place#thank you for your attention#it won't be long now*#why do you write like you're running out of time*#(not gonna tag this as ith cause this is only for my moots cause you guys get it)#(the last time one of my ith posts was seen by people who dont even know what that is i was depressed for days but that's another story)#(iykyk)#(and you know cause you left me tons of sweet messages guys i love you)

A Poet Could Not But Be Gay — Part 5
Pairing: college!au Ellie Williams x f!reader
Summary: You go on a movie date with Ellie and end up at her place
Word count: 2808
warnings: mutual pining, reader has no some rizz , anxiety, insecurity, mentions of gore (for a second about the movie they watch), pet names (includ), kissing/making out, softdom!ellie, sub!reader, nipple play (if you squint), fingering (r!receiving), dirty talk, virgin!reader
a/n: M (minors and men) DNI, please! btw i tried to make the description of the reader as broad as possible but i am an average sized white girl so pls let me know if it wasn't inclusive!
-------------------------------------
The drive to the theatre was only 15 minutes but you wanted so badly to hear her voice and you didn't know what to say to her. It seemed that Ellie recognized your dilemma as she asked, "Wanna listen to music?" as she briefly looked over at you.
Only if you sing it. "Sure" you replied and she pressed play on a playlist whose name you didn't have time to read. An upbeat tune began to play and you quickly knew it to be Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. Your lips quirked into a big smile as you struggled to keep a giggle at bay. Unfortunately for you, Ellie looked over and noticed your grin.
"What?" she laughed.
"Nothing, nothing..." you answered, "It's just... 80s?" you managed between giggles.
Ellie's expression turned to one of shock and fake-hurt as she looked at you for a second before she sarcastically said, "Fuck you, what's wrong with the 80s??" You burst out laughing and didn't get a chance to say anything before she continued, laughing now as well. "What? Do you not like joy, you monster!" This just made you laugh harder.
After a few minutes of wheezing and Ellie nearly swerving into another lane, you both caught your breaths.
"No, but really, I like the music." you now said confidently, looking at her as her eyes focused on the road in front of her.
She smiled at that but you didn't expect her to start singing the chorus, turning to look at you expectantly. Her voice sounded like an angel's. You'd never heard anything sound better than her singing, even if it was to an old song. But you couldn't leave her to sing by herself. By the time you started singing, the song was almost over, so there were limited lyrics for you to follow. Ellie looked at you flabberghasted nonetheless.
You spent the rest of the ride singing together until you got to the theatre. As you went in, Ellie started walking to the ticket booth. You grabbed her hand to stop her and she looked at you confused.
"I already got 'em online. I didn't know how close to the screen you liked so I got a middle-to-back row." You told her, both proud and suddenly shy.
"Why'd you do that, sweetheart?" she asked with an adoring smile.
"Well for one..." you pointed at the long and growing line. "And I also know you, Ellie Williams, and I know you would've tried to pay for them." She blushed at that, not bothering to deny it.
"Alright then," she started, "Let's go get some snacks." She then looked at you sternly, setting your stomach ablaze, "And you better have left your wallet in the car." All you could do was nod, which she smiled at. She then started leading you to the snack stand which is when you realized neither of your hands had let go. The thought immediately made you squeeze her hand, a gesture which quickly she returned.
When you got to the front of the queue, Ellie ordered a large popcorn and a drink for herself, and looked over at you. Still gripped by your earlier shyness, you could only softly tell her the drink you wanted.
"Sorry, I didn't get that." said the cheery cashier. That only made you more shy and you felt yourself starting to panic.
Noticing your descent, Ellie told the worker, "Just a medium root beer for her, thanks!" and paid for the food. She then looked over at you as you moved toward the other side of the counter to wait for your food. "Hey," she said, squeezing your hand again, "you don't have to be nervous. There's nothing to be scared of, I promise. Except for the movie which is apparently very gory, but I'll keep you safe."
You laughed through your nose at her comment, "Yeah it's pretty much just blood and guts," you smiled and hugged her arm. You couldn't see her face but you felt her head lean on yours.
Soon, you heard her whisper with a smile in her voice, perhaps to you or just herself, "Damn, I picked up a freak!"
Before you could react, your food came out, giving you 10 minutes to find your seats.
Once you were both sat, you noticed Ellie waiting for you to take a handful of popcorn before she took hers, making you giggle. She turned her head left to look at you with amusement. You looked at each other for a long time. You studied every feature of her face, vowing to remember each freckle and every little scar when you realized she was leaning closer to you. Your eyes widened as the met hers and her mouth grew into a small smile and she drew so close to you that your noses were touching. That's when your breath caught in your throat and Ellie's smile turned into a smirk. You could hear your heartbeat and you were sure she could hear it too. You then remembered her words from earlier.
Nothing to be scared of.
Fuck it.
You closed the gap between your lips and sighed when you felt her right hand caress your cheek. Her lips were as soft as her touch and, despite the growing din of the audience, you thought you could hear a small hum escape her mouth. When your lips left hers to catch a breath, there was a loud boom, indicating the start of the movie.
You both stayed where you were, debating whether you even wanted to see the movie. You were decided. Nope. This movie means nothing to me. you concluded. You started leaning toward Ellie again and she used the hand on your cheek to reach your ear. As the sound from the movie quieted, you heard her whisper, "Be patient," before she sat back in her seat, draping her arm over your shoulders, leaving you a needy mess.
***
By the time the movie ended, you could hardly handle yourself. You had tried to get closer to Ellie throughout but the seperate seats made that impossible. Damn those stupid armrests. As the lights turned on, Ellie turned to ask you what you thought of the movie.
"It was good," you said, "still predictable but at least the traps were awesome! Did you like it?"
"Yeah, it wasn't bad." she replied, "I just saw more broken bones than I've seen before but other than that I liked it." she joked. "So, it's still pretty early, what did you wanna do."
You.
"I dunno." you pretended to think, "We could go to your place, if you want." you suggested.
"Sure! I do have to warn you though, there is something living in the walls so if you here scratching, just ignore it"
"You're such an idiot" you laughed, lightly shoving her shoulder.
Because you had stood up, waiting for people in your row to file out, she took this opportunity to give you some of the closeness you'd been craving. She reached out and grabbed your waist, pulling you so close you could have melted into her. You set your arms on her shoulders, hoping she'd understand your gesture. Again, instead of kissing you, she leaned in and spoke so only you could hear, "I don't know what's gotten into you today, but if you keep going like this we might not make it to my place."
You were thankful that she decided to speak in your ear again and couldn't see the blush explode all over your face. You were able to compose yourself in time as she pulled back to look at you, only for you to lean in, touching her lips with yours, "Sounds promising."
She quickly spun you around, guided you out of the theatre from behind and led you to the car. The ride to her place was short but it felt like an eternity. You had both opted against music, given the atmosphere, and her hand rested on your thigh as you traced the lines of her tattoo.
You entered her apartment and were immediately in awe of her decorations. She had multiple posters of various comic books she enjoyed. Shelves of her lego creations littered the walls and you caught a glimpse of the black comforter on the bed in a far room.
"Woah, Ellie, did you build all of these?!" you said, pointing at the legos. Occasionally moving the moveable pieces.
She smiled shyly at your amazement, "Yeah I spent hours building all of these with my dad."
You looked at her and grinned, "That's awesome." you said, looking back at the creations. "They look so good."
You felt her arms wrap around your middle as she nuzzled your neck, "Not as good as you." She was practically squeezing you into her. "How did I manage to get you?"
"Me?" you asked, holding her arms against you, "Have you seen yourself lately?"
With that she kissed all the way up your neck, reaching your jaw and staying there, sometimes nipping at your skin until you turned your head toward her and she captured your lips. Your neck started huring from this awkward angle so you turned in Ellie's arms which lowered to grope your ass. The small gesture made you sigh into Ellie which she took as an opportunity to slip her tongue in your mouth. Overwhelmed by the attention she was giving you, your hand reached up to her hair, tugging at, and ultimately ruining, her low bun, making her moan in your mouth.
She pulled away, still gripping you tight, looking at you like you were her favourite constilation. "Jump." she said, softly.
You looked at her, dazed, and replied, "Huh?"
She squeezed the underside of your ass, pulling you up a little, and she repeated, "Jump."
You raised your right leg up to her hip as her hand followed to your mid thigh and jumped up to wrap both legs around her waist. You felt her hands grip your plump thighs when you decided no one else could have her. You quickly kissed her lips, moving underneath her jaw and suckling until you could feel her heartbeat quicken beneath your lips. "Fuck-" she breathed, "such a good girl f'me." Before she good regret letting the petname slip, she felt you nod in her neck which is all she needed to convince herself to bring you to her bedroom.
Before you could register the movement, your back hit a soft matress, forcing a whimper out of you. Ellie was on you in an instant, kissing your cheeks, your lips, your neck, and the top of your chest. "God, you're so pretty, sweet girl, will you let me see more of you?" To which you replied by grabbing the hem of your shirt and pulling it over your head. She gave the top of your breasts a few kisses before tugging at your bra stap and catching your gaze. "On or off?"
"Off! Off, please!" you practically pleaded. She smiled, pressing her lips against yours softly as her hands unclasped your bra. As soon as your bra was off, Ellie was on your nipples, sucking, nipping, and pinching at them until every touch elicited a whine. She popped of one nipple, propping herself up on one hand while the other continued its assault. She took her time, admiring the beauty of your upper half: the bruises forming on your breast; the rounding of your stomach which, Ellie noted, is very biteable; and the absolute perfection of your skin.
While she was distracted, you decided to reach underneath her shirt, bringing her attention back to you. She raises an eyebrow, silently asking you what you wanted. "Wanna see you too" you asked.
"Whatever my girl wants." she said, taking off her flannel and bringing her shirt over her head. My girl. You ran your hands over her stomach, feeling her muscles tense under your touch. By the time she'd rid herself of her bra, you were entranced by her beauty. There was no way you'd remember every freckle now! She noticed your new daze and placed her hand under your chin, tipping your face towards hers. "You with me?" she asked, seeming genuinely concerned.
"Yeah, I'm with you." you told her, admiring her expanding pupils.
"Tell me what you want."
"I want you."
"I figured that much out." you both laugh at her comment. "Tell me what you want me to do for you. What do you like."
You tried to look away but Ellie's hand held you in place. "I dont know."
She looked at you, unsure of what you meant. She asked a question she dreaded. "What have other people done that you liked."
You let out a nervous laugh, "uh nothing. There've been no people."
Her eyebrows shot up. "Well don't you worry sweet girl," she told you slowly pushing you back down, "I'm gonna take good care of you. Can I make you feel good?"
"Yes, please." you replied, squirming under her touch.
Without another word, she unbuttoned your denim shorts and pulled them all the way down your legs. When she looked back up, she swore she could have died at the sight of you in nothing but silky, red panties. She toyed with the hem and looked up at you. "Did you wear these for me?" she asked.
You nodded, a small smile finding your lips, "You like 'em?"
"Oh babygirl, I love 'em. You act so innocent but really," she moved closer to your face, so close you could feel her breath, "really you just need someone to fuck you." You opened your mouth to deny it but before you could object, her hand slipped into your panties, fingers instantly finding your clit. A soft and relieved moan left your lips as you bucked your hips into her hand.
"God, you're so wet I can't wait to taste you." she saw you hold your breath and leaned down, lips entangling with yours until she felt your breath leave your lungs. "Don't worry, I won't do that yet."
You couldn't focus on anything. Her fingers were working expert circles around your clit and her mouth had gone back to your right nipple. You sometimes felt her fingers leave your clit and worried she was done until you felt them teasing your hole which had you whining every time.
"Stop teasing" You whined at her.
She looked up from the growing bruise on your chest, "Yeah? You want me to stretch you out with my fingers?" she said as she returned to tight circles on your clit.
"Fuck! Yes, please, I need to feel you in me please Ellie!" you moaned desperately.
She moved back up to kiss your lips as her fingers left their position to rid you of your panties. "You have to tell me if it hurts, ok?" all you could do was nod and soon you felt her middle finger slide into you with minimal effort, making you moan breathlessly. Her finger curled repeatedly inside of you, never in the same spot, and though it did feel erotic (you were wetter than you'd ever been), you didn't feel what all the fuss was about.
"Ellie, it's n— oh fuck!" you threw your head back, suddenly overwhelmed by pleasure as you felt your pussy pull Ellie in.
"There you go. That's it, just needed a little more didn't you." You couldn't answer her as you barely had time to breathe between each moan. All you could do was reach around her neck and hold on to her as she pleasured your hole. She added a second finger, both now abusing the sweet spot she had found. "You sound so sweet angel. You're just my good girl, aren't you."
You were almost there, just needing a little more of Ellie's heveanly assault on your pussy. "I'm so close Ellie — oh no I'm gonna pee—"
"Do you trust me?" you nodded quickly. "The let go for me."
That was all you needed to cum all over her hand, letting out pornographic moans and scratching her back. Her fingers never slowed and you came so hard your vision went blank for a few seconds.
When you looked back up at her, you saw her staring down toward her hand. You followed her gaze and saw he stomach was sleek with wetness.
Just as you realized what you'd just done, Ellie stuck her fingers in her mouth, groaning at the taste and letting go with a pop. "That was the hottest thing anyone has ever done." she told you, as if anticipating your embarassement.
You kissed her softly and tried to sit up but she pushed you harshly back down on the bed. "Oh, baby I'm not done with you yet."

𐙚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 ☆ (1/2)
❝ in which; the famed magician of fontaine meets the angel of opera epiclese " » includes: mentions of ocs, oc x canon (irene levasseur x lyney) » note: just to clarify, the first scene of this work is before the events fontaine archon quest, the second scene is after fontaine quest act 1 & 2!! i hope u enjoy this raaaaaa <3
The dark clouds were scattered across the land of Fontaine. Strong wind blowing the heavy rain as they harshly dropped to the ground. The weather was no delight to the people of Fontaine; children wondered why the Hydro Dragon was in so much anguish.
Despite the weather, the Opera Epiclese only witnessed a heavenly voice sent by Celestia, a voice from the one and only “Angel of Opera Epiclese”, singing a song of euphonic quality.
The Angel’s voice echoed in the opera house, reaching every corner of the room. Her vocals were so siren-like and clear—if anyone were to hear a simple hum from her, they would feel their heart burst and their body chill.
There was no voice that was as otherworldly as Irene’s voice was. She has taken the eyes of the audience, and perhaps even a certain magician's attention.
As Irene sang a song for the opera, Lyney was somewhere in the small audience, watching Irene sing for the first time. He, Lynette, and Freminet had received tickets from a friend that wanted to pay for their kindness in the past.
“Her voice is wonderful,” Lyney commented in a whisper, leaning near Lynette so she could hear.
Lynette agreed, nodding her head, “Yes, like a hidden gem.”
“She’s not that very popular in both the Theatre and Film Industry,” Lynette said, “even though she's been in many films, plays, musicals, operas…”
Lyney turned to Lynette, snickering quietly, taking the chance to tease his sister, “Seems like someone did their research—are you a big fan of hers?~”
“No, I was just curious about who she is and why I've never heard about her in The Steambird or anywhere on the news, so I decided to know more about her,” Lynette simply answered. “I’m surprised she hasn't gotten as much attention as Lady Furina.”
“‘Irene Levasseur, The Angel of Opera Epiclese,’” Freminet spoke for the first time ever since they went into the opera house, which was no surprise, “that’s what I heard how her fans refer to her.”
Freminet continued, "I heard this is her second time performing in the Opera Epiclese."
“Ah, finally, you've decided to talk,” Lyney smiled as he looked at his brother, Freminet, shifting his gaze to Irene once more. “Irene Levasseur, huh?”
Irene wore a white dress under a bright red cape, her hands on her chest as she passionately sang her heart out. Lyney liked her voice. It was captivating, and he was sure that the rest of the crowd thought so as well.
When the song reached its end, the lights shut, opening again once different characters were onstage.
At that moment, Lyney realized something. “Then, wouldn't that mean she's related to the man who sponsored our show in Hotel Debord? Mr. Victor Levasseur?” Lyney asked, “he’s from a prestigious family, isn’t he? So that would mean Miss Irene is too.”
Lynette’s catlike ears perked in realization, “Oh, that's right. I forgot to mention.”
Lyney sighed, shaking his head, tutting as he crossed his arms, “Are you too entranced by Miss Irene’s voice to even remember that?”
“It’s not that—” Lynette sighed annoyedly. “You’re very insistent about me being Miss Levasseur’s fan. Maybe you're the one who's the biggest fan,” Lynette said, crossing her arms.
Lyney laughed quietly, “Well, I simply cannot deny that her voice is truly an experience one must witness, but I think it's too early to say that I'm her biggest fan. I've only seen her just now.”
“Whatever,” Lynette said coolly, paying attention to the show once more. Lyney shrugged and did the same, and the rest of the opera went as planned…
**
Tapping feet, clenching fists, and breathing shakily. Those were three things that Lyney usually did before a performance.
Usually, Lyney knew he'd overcome his fears a minute before his performance. But this was a show that he truly feared. Critics from Inazuma, Liyue, and Mondstadt were going to watch his show, and he could never let himself mess up a performance that would potentially bring him more foreign audiences.
Lyney was usually confident, showing his undeniably charming personality to anyone, yet he felt that he was going to feel even more fearful at the last second.
It still would be 2 hours until Lyney’s magic show, which was after the musical that was being performed at the moment. He was watching the musical in the corner of the room, feeling his stomach flip.
Lynette was still double checking props backstage; Lyney couldn't feel any less stressed with the lack of his sister’s presence. It was too much for him at the moment, but he still had a confident expression on him.
Alas, too many thoughts enshrouded the magician’s head; what if he makes a mistake while performing? What if another murder suddenly takes place during his performance? What if he failed?
All those thoughts would simply be answered by Lyney himself, trying to give himself some comfort, but to no avail. His last (and first) show in the Opera Epiclese ended up in a disaster, what's to say that it won't be a disaster in front of foreign critics?
Lyney sighed mentally, feeling miserable.
As Lyney was preoccupied in his thoughts, the crowd applauded and a familiar voice echoed in the theater, accompanied by a piano.
“Mystic moon and glowing stars, guide this boy into the night.”
“Shady figures and cold chills, let this boy venture into the forest of fright.”
“Irene?” Lyney whispered to himself, immediately recognizing her voice.
The Angel of Opera Epiclese has blessed the crowd with her wonderful vocals once more.
Indeed it was Irene onstage, wearing a floor length dress and a veil on her head. She had wings on her back and a staff on her hand—she was playing as the witch that guides the main character into the forest.
Lyney gazed at the stage, his heart picking up. He was touched by her voice, as usual. Who couldn’t be enamored by her voice?
In truth, ever since Lyney witnessed Irene's presence on the stage, he found himself humming her song every now and then. And if she ever showed up in a play, he'd try his best to go watch, although he has been barely fortunate enough to see many since he has plans of his own.
Irene sang beautifully, as always, each note sung in a harmonious tone that captivates the crowd. Everyone’s attention was on the stage–were only on the Angel of the Opera Epiclese.
“Psst.”
Lyney didn’t reply, nor flinch.
“Psst..! Lyney.”
“Lyney!”
Lyney reluctantly stepped out of his trance, glancing here and there, finally noticing his sister, Lynette, her arms crossed, “Oh. Lynette,” he smiled, “how’s the prop check?”
“I’ve checked everything twice but I think you should personally check the things too,” Lynette stated, looking at Irene on the stage, “Oh, it’s Miss Irene.”
“...Now I understand why it took you forever to reply to me,” Lynette sighed, starting to walk backstage.
Lyney widened his eyes, surprised, “W-what do you mean?!” Lyney asked, running after Lynette, flustered at his sister’s bluntness.
“I mean that Miss Levasseur’s voice is enchanting,” Lynette said, raising her eyebrow. She didn't expect her brother’s reaction, “What else did you think?”
Before Lyney could reply, a sudden applause ensued as the two siblings went backstage. Irene's performance was probably finished.
Lyney closed his eyes for a moment, shaking his head as he took off his signature top hat, “Nothing else, nothing else. I just-” Lyney sighed, only to stop in his tracks. Lynette stopped walking too.
In front of the twins was The Angel of Opera Epiclese herself.
“Miss Levasseur!” Lyney exclaimed with a smile, immediately switching to his charming self, “what a wonderful performance you had! I knew that the crowd had their hearts racing as you sang.”
Irene nodded, smiling as well, “Thank you, Mr. Lyney.”
Lyney was surprised that Irene knew his name, but he did know that he had a bigger reputation compared to Irene—that didn't make her any less of a talented singer and entertainer, of course.
“I’ve been hoping to meet the two of you in person, it makes me very pleased to finally meet you two,” Irene stated.
Irene was like a perfect princess; her hands clasped in front of herself, showing a polite smile on her face, her posture straight, her costume perfectly fit for her, and her aura was comforting. It’s an utter sin that she wasn’t a well-known opera singer.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you too,” Lynette said, “you were beautiful onstage.”
“Thank you,” Irene responded, “are the two of you preparing for the performance you have after this musical? I'm sorry to have bothered you…”
Lyney shook his head, clutching his hat, “Not at all! Me and my sister were only doing prop checks before our show later.”
Irene smiled, nodding her head, “Good luck to you both on your performance. I’m sure you'll fascinate the stage.”
“Thank you, my lady,” Lyney bowed with a grin on his face. In truth, Lyney was a bit nervous to meet the singer he liked in person. It was basically seeing your idol in person!
Lyney glanced at Lynette, who was most likely on standby mode right now, then back at Irene, “I apologize if it seems like promotion, but I'm pretty sure we still have two tickets for our show. If you're interested in watching our show, we have two free tickets for you!”
Lynette looked at Lyney, confused. Her expression was screaming, ‘What are you doing???’ and to be honest, Lyney had no idea either.
“Ah,” Irene shook her head, “that won't be necessary. I actually already have tickets for your show tonight, so I'm looking forward to it.”
Lyney widened his eyes, surprised. Irene Levasseur? Watching his magic show? No. A better way to put it was; his celebrity crush? Personally watching his magic show? He couldn't believe it. It was like a dream.
“Oh, I see, I see! Then me and Lynette are honored to see you in the crowd!” Lyney said, still smiling.
“The pleasure is all mine—” Irene looked around, then to her manager— “I’m afraid I must abruptly end our meeting, Lyney, Lynette. It was very nice meeting you both.”
Lyney took Irene’s gloved hand, bringing it up and leaning his head down to place a delicate peck on her hand, looking into her eyes as he did so. His gaze was soft and his smile apparent—he knew he was charming but still felt bashful at his own doings.
“It was very nice to meet you too, Miss Levasseur,” Lyney said, gently letting go of Irene’s hand, “may fate lead us to meeting again on a beautiful spring day.”
Irene nodded, waving goodbye as she exited the backstage area through the hidden exit where only staff, actors, and actresses may enter.
Lyney looked back and Lynette, who was unamused by her brother's behavior, asked, “Who’s the big fan now?” she sighed, turning around to check the magic show props once more.
Lyney laughed shyly, only realizing his fast heartbeat, going on his way to check on his props for his show.

Emergency P3
Media House of Anubis
Character Jerome Clarke
Couple Jerome X Reader
Rating Sad and Adorable
"tell me about her."
I couldn't hold back a smile, "I mean... there's so much to say, she's so sweet, she's caring, she's Incredibly funny she makes me laugh all the time, she's smart, but not just book smarts she's like really like clever. I just..." I blushed, "I just... love her. She's... I don't know whenever I'm with her I feel happy. I feel safe. I never want it to end I just... I love her."
"You ever told her?"
"No. I... I don't think I've ever even said it out loud." I told her, "And the fact that she might die before knowing how I feel... I can't think about it, the thought of losing her, it doesn't seem fair... I should've just told her from the beginning..."
"...life isn't fair Jerome. It's why it's so precious"
"but is it fair that I'm losing her like this? that I have to watch her get to such a critical point? that if she dies it's all going to be my fault? that I never told her my true feelings?"
"It's not your fault. no matter what happens it's not your fault."
"but I couldn't save her, if she dies now it is my fault... maybe I could have said something done something... I should've told her and maybe then she'd try to fight this harder for me, maybe she'd keep going but now she's giving up because she thinks nobody loves her or wants her alive..."
"Jerome, it's not your fault she's fighting believe me she is fighting. It's not your fault if she dies"
"I want to believe that but right now, I just can't. it's... it's so hard to believe that" my whole body felt numb with pain and sadness I wanted to be with her holding her hand, "but... what if she... what if she doesn't make it out of the surgery? what if- what if she dies on the table? and I-"
"just... Try not to think about it"
"how can I not when this is my best friend's life? the... the girl I love." I stared at her as I wiped my tears, "I'm sorry."
"It's alright trust me I've seen far worse."
"she has to make it, she has to."
"I hope she will..."
my mind began to race with the thought of losing such an important person to me, the mere thought of it was terrifying enough that I started shaking in the chair, my body trembling I couldn't bear this world without her. and to think... I wouldn't even get to say goodbye if something happened to her.
"ohh... Good news." the nurse said,
I bolted upright in my chair,
"What is it!"
"she's out the surgery theatre"
"Is she okay? the doctors said she was fine, right?!"
"she's alive. Doctors notes say... medication is being given now moving her onto post-op ward C8 room... 109"
The moment I heard It I grabbed my stuff and got out of the chair, I gave the nurse a hug and a thank you before I bolted through the corridors like a speed demon, my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest but I didn't care, I didn't even bother waiting for a lift I just ran up the stairs! As soon as I saw her room I burst in without a word.
And there... I saw her. she's alive!
For a moment my feet couldn't move torn up to see she was alive, lying hooked up to various machines, "she's okay, she's okay," I cried as I set my stuff down pulled the chair beside her and held her hand as tight as I could, I smiled so giddy crying tears of joy just sitting here beside her.
Slowly after a while her sweet eyes flutter open and glances around the room. I smiled and held her hand as gently as I could not wanting to hurt her but she saw me, faintly smiled and squeezed my hand a little.
"you're okay, you're okay. I'm here, I'm here," I repeated over and over again, "let me just..." I gently leant forward to kiss her on the forehead, and another and another and another kissing her over and over again, all over her head and face, before I finally pulled back and saw her beautiful little eyes, "Don't worry, you're safe now. I'm here now, okay? I'm right here and I promise god, the devil or World War Three couldn't get me away from you."
"J-Jerome," she croaked,
My heart skipped a beat just to hear her,
"Yeah?"
Her hand moved slowly slightly shaking as she moved it before she tapped my nose, and it broke me I cried hysterically holding her close my body trembling "Y/n I'm so sorry. I-i..."
"...why?"
"b-because of me. everything you went through today, it's all my fault."
"your fault... Jerome... You carried me in your arms to the nurse... I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you"
"r-really?"
"really... Without you, I'd have lost my heart in my dorm room bed in class or on the walk to school. They wouldn't have brought me here without you"
"Really? You think... I'm... I'm the reason you're alive?"
"I think so"
"and here I was thinking it was me that had almost lost his heart today, because of you..."
"What?"
"I- I mean, I was thinking that for a moment I thought I lost you today, and I couldn't have... I... just the thought alone almost broke me, I'd never recover if..." I muttered, "I can't lose you. I just... I just can't..."
"It's okay..."
"no... it's not okay. I can't lose you. I can't ever lose you. you're everything to me."
"you don't mean that..."
"I- I do mean it. I mean every single word. You're the most important person in my life and I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you."
"you really think I'm the most important person?"
"without a doubt. I've spent the last few years with you, and every single day has been the best because I got to spend it with you. you've made me happy and helped me grow and become a better person. i... I don't believe I'll ever meet someone like you again." I nodded,
"ohh Jerome I feel the same but you really think I'm more important? What about your sister? Your parents? Yourself?"
"no, you beat them all. you're the most important person to me. you mean the world to me. you're my everything. without you, I don't think I could keep living." I shook my head, "My sister has been cruel to me as long as I've known her, I rarely see her, I don't even remember the last time I saw my dad and if I'm lucky I see my mother a week out of the year. You... I see you every day, we have in-jokes, and stupid rituals, and you always come to me when you are stuck on a game level... I live with you, you're more a family to me than anyone."
"Jerome... Don't make me cry"
"Alright, alright, I should probably stop. I just..." I blushed, "Gushed enough... I'm just so glad you're okay. you scared me today."
"I'm sorry I didn't want to scare you"
I smiled and squeezed her hand, "No, don't say sorry, it's okay. I'm just... I'm so relieved you're okay. when I saw you laid out on the bed, I just..." I choked up, "I was so worried about you. I didn't want anything to happen to you because I just..."
"yes?"
"because I love you."
"you - you what?"
"you heard me. I love you. I've loved you since the moment I first met you. every day has been better just because of you. and now..." I told her letting out everything I've ever wanted to tell her, "now I just can't imagine a single day without you. i... I just can't. I love you."
"ohhh, Jerome... I love you too" she began to cry
my entire body shook with joy and my eyes filled with tears at the sound of her words. I lean forward to wipe her tears and smile softly. "really?" I ask, just wanting to hear her say it again. "you really love me?"
"I love you so much, since the first day we met I never thought you cared about anyone like that,"
"you don't realize how much that means to me. I've never had someone care about me so much and it just... it means the world to me. you have no idea how happy I am to hear those words."
"do you mean it?"
"oh, I mean them for sure. how could I not? how could I not be in love with you? every time I look in these gorgeous eyes of yours, it's like I'm looking straight into heaven. and your laugh is so beautiful and contagious, I can't help smiling every time I hear it. and your personality is just incredible, I love how carefree you are but how careful you are at the same time. I love EVERYTHING about you, y/n."
"I love everything about you too Jerome"
I smiled and closed the gap between us squeezing her hand and giving her soft beautiful lips,
"as much as I love you... I think you should stop telling me or I might actually have a heart attack "
"Alright, alright, I'll take it easy. just promise me something?"
"What?"
"Promise me that... that this is the real thing. this isn't just happening because you're in a hospital bed or you're tired or sick, but you mean every single word. you love me."
"I mean it a thousand times over and I'd say it if I was in a hospital bed. In a garden. On a beach. On a mountain. Or on the moon. And I still mean it. And I promise I will tell you all of those places if it means you believe me" She smiled,
"I love you so so much Y/n... can I ask... did you... wanna be my girlfriend?"
"I'd love to Jerome,"

The race to 500!! It's always been you, peterpatterlina
NUMBER 500 Y'ALL! Seems fitting to do it with my OT3 and my favourite trope. I hope you enjoy!
Ser Reginald wiped the sweat from his brow, beaming at the chanting crowd. The tourney had gone well, and the purse was as good as his. It had been a good day.
If only he had someone to share it with.
Then he felt it, the tug of his heartstrings, meaning his fated love was nearby. He entered every tourney in hopes of this moment. Travelled far and wide, searching for them. To finally gaze upon his other half and proclaim his love.
Frantically he searched the crowd, eyes finally landing on the royal box where the fair Lady Julianna and her faithful guard Ser Lucas were sitting. Sharing a smile between them as he caught their eye. Could one of them be for him?
He approached slowly, not daring to hope, but the tug felt stronger and stronger as he got closer. Close enough to see the gap in the lady’s smile, the sparkle of the knights eyes. He gave a deep bow, but never broke their gaze.
Lady Julianna flushed and giggled, Ser Lucas shooting him a smirk. And Ser Reginald accepted the token-two cloths twined together, a brilliant royal purple twined with the deepest regal blue.
Oh.
Reginald looked that them then, and felt a tug at his heart… two tugs. For the two hearts opposite his own that were meant to be his. And he theirs.
He took the red cape from his back and tore a length from it, twining it with the one in his hand.
And just like that, three hearts beat as one.
~
Juliet grinned as she pushed her way through the crowd towards the Globe Theatre. It was rare that she got time off of her position as a lady in waiting to the Lady Caroline, but today the King's Men were premiring a new Shakespeare play. She had quite liked the last one what with her sharing a name with one of the characters.
Even if it made her weep uncontroallably at the end. She was glad this one was supposed to be a comedy.
And a comedy it was, Juliet finding herself laughing uproariously at the quips of Beatrice and Benedick. Booing Claudio when he disgraced Hero. Cheering when the happy ending came and all the lovers were wed and happy. It had been a lovely story.
Yet something changed when the actors came out for their bows. The role of Benedick had been played by a brash youth she had heard of; Lukas, the son of a wealthy Earl. His story had been passed amongst the maids, how he had run away to pursue trodding the boards. Juliet found it all rather foolishly romantic.
But the man playing Beatrice she did not know. He was introduced as Reginald, ward of Lord Peters, and she had to surpress a shiver at that. She had met the aforementioned lord at a ball once and he was a most unpleasant creature. She didn't think he would have the heart to harbour anyone, let alone take on a ward.
However, when the men joined hands to bow, their eyes met hers for a moment and it was as if lightning struck. Suddenly the world was filled with colour, bursting forth.
They looked equally startled, leaping from the stage and wading through the assembled audience until they met her. Lukas pressed a kiss to her hand, and then Reginald the other.
Juliet remarked on their glorious eyes, a spring time green and a sparkling topaz. They grinned, informing her that hers were the most enchanting shade of brown.
And nothing Shakespeare could write would ever top that love story.
~
Luc grinned as he and his fellow revolutionaries marched through the square, proclaiming liberty, equality, fraternity to all who would listen. The royal family cared not for them, so why did the people need a king who was content to feast while his subjects lay dying in the street from sickness and starvation?
Luc had been a student once upon a time, from a good family. Able to study poetry, music, history to his heart's content. He never wanted for anything and happily shared what he could with those who had less.
But then a childhood friend came back from war unable to work, unable to pay for food or medicine. And Luc found out too late, held poor Robert in his arms as he took his last breath. And vowed to make it right.
Sure, his parents had all but disowned him, but Luc wanted-needed-to fight so that no one else would lose their Robert.
So here he was, shouting alongside his brothers in the fight for freedom, pleading their case to a wealthy and unfeeling crowd. But some were listening, some were joining them. Even one more voice could lead to triumph.
Then a wealthy couple came into the square, and Luc swore the whole world froze.
They were beautiful, as the rich often are. But there was something about them that drew him in. Closer and closer until he was right in front of them.
"Oh, hello," the lady said, a genteel smile on her face.
"Lovely day," the man said with a tip of his hat and a genuine smile. "Strange that everyone else seems to be too still to enjoy it."
Luc looked around, and sure enough, no one was moving. Time had literally stopped for the three of them.
"Well that shouldn't stop us from taking advantage. Means first pickings for rowboats and picnic spots," he suggested.
The lady-Julietta he later learned, and her companion Reginald loved both of those things.
And yes, Luc still pledged to fight for the revolution, but his heart wasn't in the fight right this moment as it was busy entertwining with the two souls before him.
~
These three souls kept coming back together, lifetime after lifetime, always finding one another.
A trio of bandits in Edwardian times that felt a spark at the first touch of their hands all grabbing for the same display of jewels.
A nurse and soldiers admist the Great War who had been hearing each other's voices in their dreams since birth.
A gang boss, his girl and their trusty barkeep offering a refuge from Prohibition that had come together when an unruly waterfowl chased them together on a stroll through the park.
Three hippies who had lived with the tastes of each other's favourite foods on their lips that met at Woodstock.
They always found each other, had full and lovely lives together as often as they could.
And now it was their turn again.
~
Reggie was bored. He usually loved history class, but today the teacher was going on about the legend of reincarnated soulmates, and all the documentation surrounding the theory.
Don't get Reggie wrong, he is a romantic at heart, but he knows that all this soulmate nonsense is just that-nonsense.
At least for him.
Reggie has never felt a tug of strings, tasted something without food being there, heard voices or melodies. His world has been full of colour and sensation. He has no names scrawled on him, no handprints from a first touch or words first exchanged.
Reggie is a blank, and he's learned to live with it.
He has his friends, his band, what more could he ask for?
Apparently the sense enough not to eat street dogs.
But instead of getting reborn into a new life, Reggie, Luke, and Alex become ghosts. What's up with that?
Worse yet they end up 25 years in the future. Like... the hell universe?
Only now, Reggie thinks there might be something to the whole soulmate thing, watching Luke and Julie interact. How smitten they are, despite none of them being able to touch. How his heart longs for the both of them and he can never say.
Now matter how right it feels to play with them both while Alex is off with Willie (who he's fairly certain is Alex's soulmate, but the drummer hasn't said much either way). How when Julie smiles or Luke grins, Reggie's stomach does backflips.
How when Luke does that weird half kiss thing, it takes everything in Reggie not to reel him in for a real one.
How he longs to take Julie into his arms at The Orpheum when she sends him the softest most loving look he's ever been on the receiving end of.
And then later, when they can touch, literally glowing as they hug, Reggie takes a step back. Lets Luke and Julie have their moment. Alex is already gone to find Willie, and Reggie idly wonders if this means Ray and Carlos can see him now. Maybe some family type bonding would make him feel better about being the fifth wheel.
Only instead of some big sweeping kiss, Luke and Julie hold out their hands to him. Pull him into their embrace.
"Wh-what's going on?" Reggie stammers.
"Do you remember when we learned about past lives and soulmates in school?" Luke asks.
"I think I almost fell asleep in that class, but sure," Reggie replies.
"I have memories from mine," Julie says. Which is-almost unheard of. "And in every one, I had the two of you there with me."
"Me?" Reggie squeaks.
"It's always been you Reg," Luke replies.
"It's always been us," Julie amends. "Lifetime after lifetime, the three of us together. It wasn't until tonight that it really became clear, everything was fuzzy before. But when you guys poofed off stage, they all came rushing back, clear as day."
"I knew the second we all hugged, it was like an electric shock straight to my system," Luke admits. "Before we died, I had words on me-but neither in a language I could understand."
"Spanish?" Julie asks with a giggle. Luke shrugs with a sheepish smile.
"It said te amo?"
"That's Spanish for I love you," Julie confirms. "What about the other?"
"It was a bunch of symbols or something?" Luke says.
Reggie breaks from the embrace, grabbing Luke's notebook and quickly writes אני אוהב אותך. "Did it look like this?" Luke beams and nods.
"How did you know?"
"Because that's Hebrew," Reggie says. "For I love you."
"You know Hebrew?" Julie asks.
"I'm Jewish on my mom's side," Reggie says. "Not really devout, but I remember the language well enough." Then he frowns. "But I didn't have anything when we were alive. No signs or symbols, nothing."
"Reggie you and I met when we were in diapers," Luke says. "You probably knew it was me right from the start-no sign needed."
Oh.
"But... I don't have anything now either," he says.
"That's okay," Julie says, pulling him in. "We still love you no matter what." With that she perches up on her tiptoes and kisses him. It's sweet and gentle, the most perfect first kiss Reggie could ask for. Then when they break apart, Luke pulls him in for a kiss as well. Cheeky and playful, and Reggie grins into it.
Finally he steps back, and oh, Reggie can see the string that leads them together, just for a moment as Luke and Julie kiss. Can see everything birighter and clearer, can hear everything crisper.
Including their three hearts, finally beating in synch.
Wait... their hearts?
He reaches for Julie's hand, and places it on his chest, the other on Luke's.
And he knows it's real when she starts to cry happy tears. Can feel her relief, Luke's confused joy admist his own elatment.
He's still confused as to why all the soulmate signs are showing up after he found them, but he doesn't really care.
He's got a whole lifetime, and hundreds more after this one to figure it out.
And with Luke and Julie at his side for every single one.

Hi-touch
Your heart thumped louder and faster as the line moved, both too slow and too fast for your taste. Instinctively, you placed your free hand across your chest, desperate to calm it.
“Welcome! May I see your ticket for the hi-touch event?”
Your name is confirmed on the list after you handed the man with glasses the ticket for your seat. A giggle eased your nerves when you noticed the bird on his shoulder nag him about something. While in their little quarrel, he turned to you and offered a bright smile.
“Please wait one moment, we'll call you in a flash!”
You nodded and did as told, the number of people in front of you decreasing.
The styled hair for this special occasion suited him, was the first thing on your mind when he finally appeared in your field of view along with the others. His eyes also shined even if he didn't have the usual stage lights over him. He truly looked stunning and as cliche as it sounds, it took a bit of your breath away.
Backing years ago when you first heard about Mankai you hadn’t expected to feel this much from a theatre company. Yet their passion was so captivating along with their charms and stories that they pulled you in faster than you could catch what was going on. Before you knew it time had passed, lucky enough to have gotten a ticket for the fifth-anniversary celebration and for extension, their hi-touch event.
“Next please!”
Your throat went dry as you walked towards his figure. Him, in particular, had caught your eye. The devotion and passion he showed for his roles, his troupe and theatre itself were admirable.
His palms making contact as he greeted you snapped you back into reality. Your eyes widened, struggling to find the words to say. You had just a few seconds.
I love you. Nope, that was way too direct.
You’ve worked hard. This wasn’t enough to express your gratitude.
Your mind kept fumbling for the right words when your eyes found his.
For all the times you’ve watched their performances, this might be the first time he’s seen you. Because you are a part of the audience, and while appreciated and beloved, a stranger.
But right there, after years of hearing him and everyone telling stories that made you gap in awe, cry and laugh, this time he was the one waiting for you.
“Thank you for being an actor.” You manage to confess. Simple, and raw. For a moment the weight of those words that came out from your lips seems to sink into him more than he expected -even if you will only notice later that night.
He blinks, and opens his mouth while visibly thinking of an equal sentence that carried the same feeling. The voice of the man who took your ticket said something from afar, most likely calling the next people to move forward and alert you and the others to finish. You are about to turn when he grabs your hands and squeezes them.
“Thank you. For letting me.” he manages to say.
You had never heard him use that tone; genuine and grateful, and emotional enough to make your chest burst with emotions. You finally smile to which he squeezes one last time.
Your hands separated, and you slowly lowered them, hi-touch over.
Interaction done you wave and proceed to find your seat and wait, your heart thumping even faster than at the beginning. You sit with a broad smile on your face, cheeks flushed from the experience.
You can’t wait to see what they will show you next.

A few weeks back we went to change Harriet’s feeding tube button. It’s a six monthly task, and simple enough. You deflate the balloon holding it in, take it out, put the new one in, and inflate the balloon.
In true Harriet style she threw in some big curveballs for the “simple” task. We got the old one out, but could not get the new one to go in through her abdomen. With the stoma (artificial opening) it starts closing really quickly if you can’t get it in. Quick dash to local emergency who put a temporary stent in to allow us to drive to Melbourne. Kids hospital were able to get a new tube in but it was a different type and not really ideal for an active 3yo. It took laughing gas and 4 adults holding her down screaming though.
Emails sent come the working week, as of course this happened on a weekend. Her gastro department, made an appointment for last Wednesday to change back to her normal tube. We weren’t told if they wanted her fasted, so we played it safe and fasted her. Left home at 6am to get to her 9am appt on time. When we were 45 minutes over her appointment time we asked at reception if she was able to eat as she kept saying she was hungry. They went and “checked” said she was fine to eat. She had literally 3 bites before we were taken through. Doctor saw her with food and said they would have to cancel the change as she had to have fasted. Glad we drove 2.5hours for that. They managed to fit her in for the afternoon, but it meant being fasted and she had, had 3 bites of food since the night before.
The procedure was 5 adults restraining Hatt. Her screaming and hyperventilating and trying to get the laughing gas off. I feel like the worst mum having to do this. I’m traumatised buy watching her experience this. She’s 3. It must be so much worse for her.
They got the tube in though. She could eat. We drove home. All was good.
Thursday was our “rest day”. We had more appts at the kids hospital scheduled for Friday. I went to the bathroom at 8am Thursday and heard Aaron yell out. The balloon that held the tube in had burst and tube came out. Lucy had immunisation and health nurse at home. So Aaron stayed home with her, I put Hatt in the car and we drove straight to the kids hospital.
They put laughing gas on her and another procedure of multiple adults holding her down whilst she screamed. This time they could not get the tube in. They tried for 30minutes. They maxed out on all the sedation they could give her in a ward environment for the procedure. She therefore had to go into theatre.
What was supposed to be a 5-10 minute procedure in theatre wasn’t. Half an hour in I got a call from the surgeon telling me it was much, much more complicated than thought. They were wanting my consent to do scopes and a few other things. What was said to be a short procedure and then home, made the surgeons book a ward bed. Harriet was in theatre for 2 hours. They managed to get a much smaller sized tube in, but it’s still in. She is also going to need another surgery in the coming months to resite her whole PEG site.
Hatt won’t let anywhere near her stomach. Which is fair. It was traumatising. So very traumatising. It’s making self care tasks like dressing, toileting, PEG needs so fucking hard though.
I feel like the worst mum ever. The first words she said to me after this whole saga though were “I love you so much mummy” as she threw her arms around me. She has said that same sentence so, so many times spontaneously over the weekend also. Trying to remember them.

ON THE SUBJECT OF TEENAGERS ALMOST RUINING AN EXCELLENT MOVIE
I hate that this happened at 25 years old bc I don’t wanna be that person (especially bc I’m a teacher and I am both an advocate for and more quickly disillusioned by the youth) BUT I THINK IT IS A PERFECTLY REASONABLE EXPECTATION FOR PEOPLE TO NOT HAVE A WHOLE ASS CONVERSATION IN THE MOVIE THEATRE WHILE A MOVIE IS GOING.
The way these girls kept chatting through the opening I was like, yeah ok they’re just excited. It’s fineee. Then they kept at it like 30 minutes.
Then one girl TOOK. A. CALL. Around the 15 minute mark bc apparently her mum had bought snacks.
Then they just kept talking and talking and they were laughing so hard throughout the film, which is absolutely a funny film, and I have absolutely laughed at things only I found funny while in a theatre, but not to the point where I am shaking the whole damn row of seats. Like I could hear them. They kept saying “huh? I don’t get it” when they wouldn’t shut up long enough to find out the answer. Then freaking someone would like bend their elbow or something supremely minute and they’d burst into laughter.
Like if people are having a good time, who am I to stop them. But they weren’t even really watching the film. They were just chatting to each other, not having the courtesy to even whisper, and rocking back and forth in their chairs with laughter at nothing but each others jokes. It got so bad I legit turned around. I didn’t even glare. I just wanted to look directly at them and see wtf they’re doing.
And then during a quiet moment in the movie you just hear “hello?” In completely normal speaking voice. Not whispered. Not hushed. Just “hello?” And THE SAME FUCKING GIRL IS BACK ON HER PHONE. WHICH SHE ANSWERS WITH NO CONCERN FOR HOW LOUD SHE CHOSE TO SPEAK OR THAT SHE IS IN A MOVIE THEATRE. EVERYONE HEARD HER. AND THEN TWO LEAVE TO GO RECEIVE MORE SNACKS. ISTG
The crowd at this movie was a second day watching crowd. We all laughed and enjoyed the movie together. It was a lot of fun. And the movie itself was absolutely fantastic. But the seat mates were easily the worst I have ever had. I can handle noise. I’ve weathered some of the rowdiest classes as a high schooler and I work in a primary school with 5 and 6 year olds.
But this shit was obnoxious and absurd. There were kids who were restless and walking around bc some of the themes were a bit over their head. Fine. That’s fine. I get it. They can’t help themselves. BUT THESE TEENAGERS HAVE NO GODDAMN EXCUSES.
#the way I could barely immerse myself in the movie bc of them#I’m excellent at blocking out distractions in a movie theatre#truly my favourite place to be#but this shit was unreal#barbie#oppenheimer#barbenheimer#spoilers

Chris Evans goes to the premier for buzz light-year and brings his wife, reader and toddler daughter, maggie
Lightyear
‘Right when we get there, you need to stay holding either mummy or daddy’s hand the whole time, okay?’ You asked your four-year-old daughter, Maggie, as you helped her get dressed in the Jessie costume she insisted that she wear. This evening, you, your husband Chris and your daughter were all going to the premiere of Chris’ new film, Lightyear. You had been to every premiere with Chris since you started dating ten years ago but this was the first time you were taking your daughter. Maggie loved Disney and every time you and Chris let her choose a film, it was always Toy Story; it was for your daughter that Chris actually took the role of Buzz in this film. Maggie nodded enthusiastically and as soon as you had finished making sure she was in the costume properly, you kissed her cheek quickly and let her go. ‘Okay, go and find daddy, he’s got your hat.’
You heard the sound of Maggie’s footsteps fading as she went running through the house, Chris’ laughter indicating that she had found him and they both came around the corner, Maggie in Chris’ arms, the red Cowgirl hat firmly on her head.
‘Look who I found,’ Chris called out, bouncing your daughter in his arms lightly, making her giggle. Chris set her back down on the floor and you both watched as she went running back through the house before he then turned to face you, letting out a low whistle when he saw what you were wearing. ‘Honey, you look incredible,’ he said, walking towards you and wrapping his arms around your waist.
‘So do you,’ you said gently, placing your hands on his chest and leaning into him slightly.
---
As soon as you got to the premiere, you were both preoccupied with making sure that one of you had a hold of Maggie at all times. In the end, Chris scooped her up and held onto her so she wouldn’t be able to run off. She was a natural when it came to the cameras, grinning the whole time. The three of you made your way over to the journalists so Chris would be able to give a quick interview before you went in to watch the film.
‘What made you want to take on this role?’
‘We’re all massive Disney fans in our household, if you couldn’t tell,’ Chris said, laughing as he bounced Maggie on his hip, ‘so when they rang and asked if I wanted to be Buzz Lightyear I couldn’t really say-’
‘That looks like Dodger!’ Maggie interrupted, pointing behind Chris at the billboard of Sox; you and Chris burst out laughing.
‘That’s a cat sweetie,’ you said, rubbing your hand up and down her back, ‘but it’s the same colour as Dodger isn’t it?’
After the interruption, Maggie soon took over the whole premiere, something she quickly realised as she started dragging you and Chris up and down the carpet for the rest of the night. When it was time for everyone to take their seats in the theatre, you picked Maggie back up and sat her on your hip. ‘We’re going to go and watch the film now, say bye to everyone,’ Chris said, leaning in close to speak to her as you both started waving at all the cameras, Maggie quickly picking up on it and following your actions.
‘Bye!’ she yelled as the three of you headed into the theatre.
