to me one of grrm's biggest screw-ups is not letting gaemon and jaehaera grow into adulthood, because the dynamics those two could have with aegon lend themselves to so much.

you're aegon iii and you're forced to marry the daughter of the man who killed your mother and your brothers. her only friend is her dragon and you hate dragons because one killed your mother in front of you and two others killed your brothers. she hates you and would kill you if that didn't mean her own demise. your best friend is also a son of aegon ii, but he hates him too, as he is responsible for the death of his mothers, he was a pretender, he is a nice kid who wants to help people just like you. he's the only one that understands you.

you're jaehaera, your father won the war, but you're forced to become the wife of the son of the man who killed your twin, the woman who put a bounty on your other brother's head and who drove your mother to suicide. your grandmother, the only family you have left, is crazy with grief, she wants you to kill aegon. you're just a child. your dragon is a wretched delicate thing, just like you, your husband hates it. he is afraid of it, it makes you happy. your only brother (if he is your brother) doesn't like you, he spends all his time with aegon, you try to bond with him, but he is not jaehaerys. he will never be.

you're gaemon, son of a whore, bastard of a king. you were the hope of the smallfolk, a path for liberation, but the royals came and they killed your moms. now you're their pet, their tool to avoid being poisoned. you love aegon, he shares the same wounds as you, but you resent him, he is using your body, your life, that's what you smallfolk are for the royals, just pawns in their little games. maybe you're tired of it. then viserys comes back and you're discarded, not longer a friend, but just a tool. jaehaera claims she's your sister, but she isn't, aegon is nothing to you, she creeps you out, she understands what being a hostage is.

Inspired by the 2003 "Acolyte" Arc, Mikey and his brothers were given to the Ninja Tribunal as children to raise as warriors on account of being gifted with mystic abilities; something very rare and unheard of in their universe.

Mikey was the most mystically inclined of his brothers. Because of this, he doesn't take training very seriously. He's also the oldest brother in his universe, but takes that role very, very seriously.

Splinter was their "father"... however, he was the one who gave them to the Ninja Tribunal. And they weren't exactly 'lenient' with children. Not when their purpose was to become warriors to defend the world. Because of this, Mikey hates Splinter. With every fiber in his body.

But despite their upbringing, Mikey was fun and kind.

But homie cannot cook to save his life

However, due to events during the invasion... Mikey is the last man standing. On the whole planet.

And he Snaps

With elevated powers and grief, Mikey traverses the heavens to hunt Krang and their settlements.

He uses dried Krang blood as his mask, having lost his in battle (and Krang blood dries orange when oxidized)

He dots his yellow spots with a drop of Krang blood to mirror Krang eyes. Using mystic abilities, the faux eyes can move and "look" around too. Terrifying.

However, due to classic Hamato shenanigans— 'Acolyte' Mikey may find himself drawn to a very, very different place than a Krang settlement 👀👀👀

kissing all over Foul Legacy's face until he's melting under your touch, already crimson mask turning an even deeper burgundy as he purrs lazily. he leans against your hands, nudging and pleading for more attention with soft whines and chirps. when you scritch behind his horns he practically flops over, tilting his head this way and that so you can get all the best spots, a pile of Abyssal moth mush. it's a surefire way to put him to sleep, leaving him a rumbling puddle in your arms.

of course Childe pouts vehemently afterwards, resting his chin against your shoulder until you also give him smooches, littering his freckles with tiny pecks. only then does he soften and laugh, gently gripping your wrists to hold them in place. his cheeks squish so wonderfully under your hands as he practically snuggles into your palms, deep azure eyes finally alight with softness and adoration.

tee hee yes it doessss !! toji's very subtle about it now, but it becomes more frequent once he gets comfy and actually starts falling for you !! there are a few moments in the past chapters where he will notice his tail slowly going back and forth, but refuses to acknowledge it bc wtf??? curse his animal body for betraying him like this.

but in the near future, he will allow himself the freedom to let it wag. especially if you're both joking around or he's trying to push your buttons, you bet he's subconciously doing it. it's just a sign that he's truly letting loose around you :(((

(that and he's quite literally obsessed with you and everything you do makes him so stupidly giddy.)

toji's so funny too because he will give you the most abrupt and grumpy responses and yet his tail is literally thumping against the ground... like bro who are you fooling??

(try calling him out for it and he will put you in a headlock.)

as for touching/grooming, honestly i don't think he would let you do it now. even once you guys are comfortable and shit i think he still has a lot of reservations about people touching him. and especially a part that is so sensitive and vulnerable... i think he'd rather take care of it himself y'know?? BUT once your relationship is in full swing??? oh babe touch him wherever you want he was always only yours anyway.

once you're dating him he quite literally will trust you with his entire being. wanna wear knives on your feet and walk all over him?? do it, he's laying down for you already.

i just think wolf!toji will always have that reserved stance with humans, and it takes the confirmation that you actually do love him and won't hurt him for him to finally allow you that privilege.

also i think a big thing for him would be the implications behind allowing you access to a part of him that is so vulnerable?? the idea makes his head spin... i think a lot of his reluctance also comes from embarassment bc god knows he does not want to lose his shit around you....

There's a part of Sampo's character that is easily overlooked. And that part is easily summed up with this one line

"Epsilon? What fun can you get out of a giant vanity fair like that? True happiness always entails the dignity of mankind. Now that's a quote i live by."

I get why more people don't talk about it, we're more focused on other aspects of his character, and that's alright.

However. It's a very important line.

To give a little bit of a "context". Epsilon, from all we've seen, is a star system of "easy pleasures". Entertainment industry, if you will. Many actors, movies, music, etc, comes from there. It's sort of like a hollywood.

Add on to this that the World's End Tavern is in Epsilon, aka, Masked Fools gather in Epsilon due to its easy ways to obtain Elation. Even the concept of the Tavern itself is an easy joy card. Getting drunk and watching fights could be many people's cheap way to obtain Elation.

And Sampo doesn't like that.

He believes Elation should be obtained after hard work. Through endurance and hope, not by cheapishly making whatever and hoping that is your reason for happiness.

Having small pleasures isn't wrong, but pretending it's the key to happiness is. Because it's not true happiness. It's a temporary substitute.

Elation needs to have purpose.

This. Is mainly why he loves Belobog so much. They've persisted so long. 700 years of hoping for a better tomorrow. And when they do finally get it, it's the best payoff they could've gotten. A nice "happy ending" to this story full of tragedy.

Now. This is a strange thing. Because, despite being a (probably retired) Masked Fool, his ideas of Elation align quite a bit with that of the Mourning Actors.

I think Sampo sees value in both sides of the coin. But he doesn't completely agree with both of their views of Elation. His path of Elation is his alone, he walks it by himself. Actually, everyone sees Elation differently. This is just his way of expressing his own ideas.

Something about them refusing to break contact, even in between kisses... Something about the fact that they feel the need to keep hovering, basking in the moment of closeness, when the tension between them is palpable, and they don't dare to fully let go... Something about the fact that when they need to let for air they simply aren't willing to let any more distance get between them than absolutely necessary... Their passion is unparalleled.

They always kiss like they have been yearning for that kind of contact for years, and like now that they've gotta a(nother) taste they never want to stop again, it's honestly mind-boggling.

Listen I know there have been approximately a billion posts about the Divorce but I had to add to the noise.

This conversation really is such a succinct breakup with so much to it. Jayce finally has his moment to say something to Viktor after not knowing if he may ever get the chance at all, only for it all to come out scrambled. I just know he was punching the air at 3am redoing this conversation over and over.

Meanwhile Viktor was acclimating to the sheer body horror of being alive after dying, his own form nearly completely unknown to him, with this "recursive charge" thrumming in his skull that drives him to the most destitute part of the city.

Jayce (ready to beg like his life depends on it): I have royally fucked up and I will be seeking atonement forever for it, please please please love me, don't leave, guilt guilt guilt I'll die from guilt and failure right here on the floor

And my favorite part: 👹 where are you going 👹

I have been obsessed with the delivery of this line because it is exactly the phrase and tone used towards someone you are painfully intimate with and experiencing a rupture (aka divorcing). The panic of 'I cannot let you leave' with 'I'll die' and 'you're not allowed' while also so emotional that all that comes out is a sad anger. Like I can't even capture it. It's about the ownership or entitlement. It's not just "why are you exiting this conversation, that's rude and this is important" but something darker and more pathetic. I DON'T KNOW I JUST RECOGNIZE IT and wanted to ramble about it. Perhaps oddly, it is actually this line (juxtaposed with "it was affection", I'm suffering so much) that locked in them as already being intimately involved for me, beyond friends or lab mates.

These two are just on two entirely different planes of existence in this scene and it's so LAYERED AND UUHHGGFJH this show is going to drive me into my own recursive whateverthefuck.

Jayce is flooding with too much everything, love, fear, desperation, anger, hope, dread, etc, and looking for someone to hold it with him. And Viktor is a husk. And yet, they miss each other, not balancing one another, because they might as well be talking to each other through the looking glass. IT'S JUUUUST AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH lmao
