#trigun #trigun maximum #nicholas d wolfwood #vash the stampede #meryl stryfe #milly thompson #millions knives #ruporas art #type of shit ive been on lately bc ive been playing an obsessive amount of hades 2 lmfao… ofc imstead of drawing fansrt for hades #i channel that energy into trigun?😭 SEE.. the thing is. i am ALWAYS thinking about a trigun game… like an action story game #it is rotating in my brain 24/7 and now after 7billion years i finally pick up a video game #and the inspiration sparked. obviously this is just a mere mimic of an existing media... but im thinking about the plot of max now #executed differently between mediums… webbing a new retelling of the original story as game mechanics allows you - thinking of the #new roles the characters would take. like wolfwood here is not Constantly by vash’s side but he will show up once a run to clear out an #encounter. shows up seldomly at home base to make gifting difficult... an existing companion and still journeys on his own. for more #relations options merylmilly will also have occasions where they separate so vash can speak to them individually - the gungho are not bosse #most of them get the roles of giving “boons” i think.. BUT ANYWAY thats me reimagining trigun into hades. now imagining trigun into an #ORIGINAL video game.... ough... ohhh....guhh... #shepherds of haven #grgurghei bear with me here #but consider a fic where the game keeps resetting but MC retains their memory of every playthrough they've been through before #groundhog day where they just have to keep reliving everything over and over #they start speedrunning trying to find and make The Choice that breaks them out of the cycle #they romance different people--save Prihine but not Caine--go with Tallys and not Trouble--#but nothing works and they keep waking up that day in the Kinley Traders camp #they also never manage to fall out of love with their canon RO #but even then they still miss “the first one”#the one that they went through everything with the first time #when everything was fresh and new and thrilling and they didn't know the next words that would come out of their beloved's mouth every time #they start playing fast and loose with things because they know they'll just be doing the same thing over again soon enough #like yes it sucks when so-and-so dies but they get inured to it because they'll just do it over again when the whole shebang resets #doesn't matter when the hunters all die of sickness we'll just fix that up next time and no one will be the wiser #but then--during what feels like the thirtieth run of the Quiial mission #Chase or Blade or Ayla or whomever acts just a bit different #they say something they haven't said before #they balk at going through the door like they know what's about to happen #and after some weirdness MC and RO realize they *both* remember #they've been separately running through their own groundhog days--reincarnating over and over #and reliving the same missions and variations and pains and deaths while remembering the first run #but now they've suddenly landed *in the same version of the game*#and suddenly the stakes are wayyyy high again lol #am i insane or is this a cool idea #anyway lol i'd call it something like 'variations on a refrain'#spoilers #heavy #alpha build #alpha preview #random

In Regards To Your 2024 Summary:

Holy shit it’s been another year????? The hell?????

Also! Your art style is gorgeous and that being found in 2023 and then refined throughout late 2023 and the entirety of 2024 really shows, as does your growth in panel layouts, perspective, and — as you said — experimentation. If you ever post your animation or video game art I’m looking forward to it.

As cheesy as it sounds, being able to laugh at funny comics and look at all the details of your art really made my 2024 brighter, even when things were hard. Including looking at your older art— it doesn’t need to be new to be enjoyable! I’m glad your art is well loved and it’s a privilege to have been here since the (near) beginning. I hope you take care of yourself in 2025 and beyond!

You and your art bring a lot of people a lot of joy never forget that <3

Thank you so much for keeping up with my art journey throughout these last two years! Two years!!! I am baffled at how that feels both too long and too short!

Admittedly, my art summary didn't manage to capture the fact that I did a lot of comic layouts that I'm really proud of. I also drew more backgrounds and made some very detailed works (*Dungeon Meshi spoilers for these examples*).

The growth is lot more evident when comparing my 'best' comics of 2023 to 2024:
