ok looking at some memes and recent events i would like to take a small moment to remind curious anons and others of my rules

if that character is under 18 -- and frankly depending on their maturity level vs the age of my muse that might actually go to 19 or even higher -- i am not shipping them with a fully grown adult. period. the only wiggle room should be an obvious 'oh blorbean is 18 and blorbette is 17' kind of thing.

if you ship it that's your prerogative. i don't want it on my page because i am not comfortable with any of this being romanticized. don't take this as a moral call or judgment, just know it's something i do not do and take it outside/off my blog. and please don't try to drag in the 'what if they're immortal' or 'mentally they're an adult' argument because this is literally about a recent trend of people who play muses under 18 mentally/physically/etc trying to get me to write ships with adult characters.

I actually think it's refreshingly realistic to see a character like Sieglinde who has encountered the idea of sex as a child (a lot of people do! I think it would be weird if every child was utterly ignorant of sex until being a teenager), but has no peers and odd social skills, see a boy roughly her age and immediately go "aha! This is who I should talk to about sex! Sex is just a normal thing you do and that you talk to boys about!" She is absolutely behaving like a child her age, and it's extremely fucking annoying to see people in the tag like "so excited about the new season! I wish sieglinde was a totally different character!" Cotton Mather called, he heard you might like to join his congregation.

I ship saxloch. in the very traditional sense that I want them to bang and be happy together, but also in the sense of that there is something deeply wrong with these freaks and I want to explore that. their dynamic is incredibly fascinating and I think what makes them different from other incest ships I've had is not only that they're canon, it's one of the rare instances where the circumstances mirror how real incest might come to happen. like, this is not romantic (though I have no trouble reading it as such), this is a trainwreck. and I LOVE trainwrecks.
