Wolfstar Fluff Thought of the Day: Autumn, 1977. Their first flat.

Remus Lupin loves to nap. Specifically, he loves to nap in one of his ridiculously oversized, stretched-out, patterned V-neck sweaters, curled up on their couch, the sleeves swallowing his hands, the neckline just loose enough to slip over one shoulder.

And Sirius? Sirius physically cannot handle it.

Every single time he walks into the room and sees Remus soft and warm and so perfectly comfortable, something in him snaps. He peels off his own shirt, shoves himself under the sweater with Remus, and burrows in. Chest to chest, arms around his waist, face buried in the crook of Remus' neck. Stealing every ounce of warmth for himself.

Remus, without even opening an eye, sighs, wraps Sirius up in both sweater and arms, presses a sleepy kiss to his temple, and falls back asleep like this is completely normal behavior.

(Which, at this point, it is.)

Bonus: James Potter, who has technically had his key privileges revoked multiple times but still manages to waltz into their flat whenever he pleases, walks in, sees two people where there should be one, and just stares.

Then, after a beat, sighs heavily.

"Yeah, alright, it’s official. You two have officially fused."

Sirius, cracking open one smug gray eye, grins like the menace he is.

Remus? Still fast asleep. Because nothing, not even James Potter’s exasperated sighs, can wake him when he has Sirius curled into him, stealing both his warmth and his sweater.

I just checked your “we make everything about wolfstar tag” and !!!! I’ve been thinking about my own private idaho wolfstar au for a few weeks but you’ve been at it for 10 years????? Really that tag was the best thing I’ve seen today 😭😭 I will rewatch the film with all the points you made…

Also that’s kinda funny because Scott felt more like sirius to me than Mike felt like remus… also yeah I was giggling in that scene when they howl kfkfjdjdjs I mean what are the odds…

oh my godd i am slightly mortified but also so so here for you digging thru that tag, the whole thing makes me so nostalgic! also tbf, i haven't been at it consistently for 10 years, i was very deep in it 10 years ago and now am back here again because the brainrot will never let me be free! and like i said, it's genuinely been at least 5 years or so since i last watched mopi i think, so i might not be remembering the characterisations that well. i think keanu reeves is just so keanu reeves [i mean that lovingly] which is why i find it easier to see more of remus in river than sirius in keanu. but also that scene where he wears the dog collar and open jacket lives rent free in my brain and is soo siriuscoded. but yess i look forward to hearing more of ur thoughts about them after ur rewatch, there's sosoo much in this film, god i really need to rewatch it too!!
