Content warnings: yandere, angst(?), some descriptions of capitalism, you're locked up
Summary: You are a bakery owner and you and your shop are going to be evicted by the IPC. Unfortunately, Aventurine is the one handling the plans.
Note: I suddenly want to write this very much...sorry, I don't know what I am writing...🥹
According to the calendar of your home planet, you spent all your savings and bought a bakery three years ago.
Once upon a time, you had your own ideals, which were woven into unrealistic dreams in your childhood paintings. When you become an adult, you realize that adults use lies to pile up in school and blow up beautiful bubbles. Those lies are probably the beginning of your idealized misfortune. Your dream goes from unrealistic to another. Under consumerism, you want a property of your own, with one room, a large living room, an open kitchen, and a ceiling where you can sleep while looking at the stars. Approximately 8,000,000 credits. You deposit money into the Cosmic Bank. Staring at the rising numbers in the bank account with tired eyes, health has been replaced by some slowly rising numbers and countless nights.
Then, you collapse. Your ideal transforms into a spaceship for 1,200,000 credits. However, classmates and friends of Universe University in the same year shared on social media that they had gotten married step by step, had children, and had a lovely next generation from the artificial womb. The venue for their proposal was on a romantic planet with endless sea, sky and seagulls. A growing sense of comparison creates unnecessary suffering. Others tell you, go ahead, just like others, work, save money, buy a house, buy a car, get married, have children, bring new blessings to the universe, and believe in an Aeon you like.
Best is Qlipoth. They said. Everyone said so.
That's the Aeon that IPC fervently believes in. They may not necessarily know about the walls and protections made by Qlipoth, but people must know that IPC is a huge company involved in the economy of the entire universe. Their golden bodies symbolize enviable wealth in people's eyes.
But spacecraft are out of reach. You figured this out through a cheap and unpalatable 10-credit lunch and a scolding from your boss. You know you should set a more realistic goal.
Then let’s get a car with 30,000 credits. There are also jewelry for 50,000 credits. I'll go shopping after get off work. you said so.
You walked into the store and bought a car that met your expectations despite the salesperson's inner eye rolls and eager sales. Stroking its shell, eager joy surges into your heart, as if your hard work has been transformed into a visible reward. This is valuable. And jewelry, you buy a necklace that sparkles around your neck.
Your face was hot with excitement. There is value in this, keep it to yourself and it will appreciate in value!
Trembling with excitement, there is endless emptiness behind the joyful smile. Cosmic Express is responsible for delivering express delivery to your home. You browse the Internet and buy a list of unnecessary things to fill your misery and pain and stop the bleeding that might come out.
Then one day you quit your job after another scolding, knowing that you are just a cog in the functioning of society. You don't want to live like this anymore, but you don't know how to live without money and without getting married like others. You buy a spaceship ticket and wander off randomly. Romantic, casual and comfortable life. You think idealistically again to cheer yourself up. No matter where you go, you have to start a new life.
You arrive on a new planet, a beautiful and highly developed space society. The dome has a transparent dome woven from Qlipoth that envelopes the entire planet. You have heard that IPC has its headquarters here, but some say it is just one of its branches. Regardless, they obsessively imitated the architecture of Aeon Qlipoth, constructing a towering building with a beautiful transparent glass dome. It is stationed on the planet like a banyan tree, tirelessly absorbing money and energy.
You bought a small, independent bakery on one of the shopping streets, renovated it and prepared it for opening and used up almost all the credit in your bank account. But, you are happy, from the bottom of your heart, practicing your baking recipes and thinking about a bright future. On opening day, you put up a sign with a design on it. And greets all guests warmly. They smell the aroma of bread, follow the traces and step into your store, buying this and that bread and drinks. The aroma of food, warm bread, that is the breath of life.
-
One month after opening, Aventurine stepped into your bakery. When socializing at work, he accompanied his clients to drink and enjoy haute cuisine, with a charming smile. During lunch, he would choose a coffee shop or an elegant restaurant to sit and browse the stock market and invest. Those tens of millions of money came and went, only in exchange for a smile or a sip of coffee from him. Wonderful afternoon. Beautiful gamble. But that day, he smelled a different aroma of bread, and realized that a new store had opened in the commercial street.
He walked into the store and browsed the golden bread. Aventurine spent 2 minutes choosing toast and croissants, listening to the sound of money arriving on his phone. He glanced at you, who was in uniform and busy. It was inevitable that he thought from a professional and utilitarian perspective, wondering how this narrow store did not meet the requirements of modern business. Decoration, bread production, marketing, and store staffing. It would be foolish to hire just one clerk. Hiring just one more clerk can lead to more revenue. You obviously have your hands full.
He spent 2 minutes in line. When it was Aventurine's turn to pay, you gave him a warm smile, as warm as sunshine. These days, you remember some familiar faces of your customers. You're a little surprised by the new-faced customers arriving at the store.
You greet him and ask if he wants a takeout or just enjoy it in the store.
"Right here, thank you." Aventurine replied.
So Aventurine sat down, right in the bakery. He munched his bread and invested his money, living his daily life. Day after day, weeks and months passed. Occasionally, he pays attention to you. You always do all the work in the store, packing the bread, putting it on the shelves, and doing the cashiering. So one day, He asked out of curiosity. “Isn’t the bakery owner going to hire an extra employee?”
You opened your eyes wide and smiled awkwardly. "I-I'm the owner of this bakery."
Ah, so here's the answer. Aventurine nodded, you may not have more funds, but he accidentally started to invest and play, just like the play he had not completed in childhood. He loved investing, which was like finding a pearl in the ocean, playing Monopoly, playing with his assets. A desire arose spontaneously, satisfying his heart. "Have you considered expanding the store and staff? I see your bakery is very popular. I've witnessed many, but none like this, and swear there's some potential here."
"Really?" You were a little shy in the compliment. He was surprised at your naivety. "Thank you, but I have no plans yet."
"Oh, you're eating Brioche today." You looked down at the bread he selected. "You are a familiar face. Let me give you a discount. It only costs 200 credits."
Aventurine was about to refuse, but heard your question. "If you don't mind, could you tell me what you do for a living?"
He didn't understand the specific reason. Aventurine didn't want to reveal his work in front of you, so he muttered vaguely. "I'm in the gambling business."
"You mean the casino?" You blinked.
"Yeah, yes," he replied.
"That must be hard…" You recalled the casino in the drama, where the gamblers seemed likely to fight. He must have been mediating frequently there. After thinking about it, you gave him extra drinks and bread. “Here’s today’s special offer!”
Aventurine held the drink at a loss, feeling that the cold drink was radiating heat.
-
On a rainy and windy afternoon, Aventurine won't sit at your outdoor table. He returned to the IPC with the bread and pressed the button for the lift. One of the members of Ten Stonehearts saw him and asked caringly. "I can't see you eating in the office lately. Can you be full just by eating bread?"
"It's okay. I fill up easily." He smiled politely, even though he had eaten some more bread… He didn't refuse your offer.
He finished chewing the bread while scrolling through your bakery’s social media feeds on his phone. You like to update the bakery's social media and have accumulated about a few hundred likes per post. In the photo, you shared a new type of bread, and your passion for life is reflected in your eyebrows and eyes.
The department meeting is just after lunch. The holographic screen fluttered IPC's business plans and developments. IPC announced that one of its small plans was to acquire a new commercial street and all the businesses would have to move out. His eyes reflected the glowing words- your bakery is on that commercial street.
-
Gradually, that friendly customer who works at the casino becomes too busy to visit your bakery, or he finds a new restaurant. There's something empty inside you, like a piece is missing.
New signs were posted in the neighborhood, and other store owners who often borrowed flour and other supplies from each other knocked on your door and told you that the Interastral Peace Corporation was buying the street and that every store was going to be evicted. This will be the place where a new type of space commercial city will be built. Many companies will settle in and open stores. It will be beautiful and modern, just like other space commercial cities. You'd better discuss a compensation plan with IPC now and strive for better terms.
IPC may compromise, but with other economic systems of the entire planet, not with a small commercial street. They do what they say they will do.
Like a bolt from the blue, you repeatedly confirmed and asked questions. Why does it have to be here? Why? What are their plans? How much will the compensation be? The IPC wants the compensation to be as small as possible, and the shop owners will fight for it, but the court is on their side. So don’t be too tough in your attitude, be more diplomatic, be more worldly, and seek more benefits for you. they said.
Many shop owners have signed up for the compensation plan. You are one of the few shop owners who are too stubborn to embrace the world. Guard this shop like a dragon guarding the last treasure. As the deadline gets closer, you notice more rude customers, the ingredient supplier says they can no longer serve you, and some negative messages and reviews appear to smear you. There are also people in all-black uniforms looking outside your store. That's downright creepy.
But you are not afraid, what you are afraid of is that something will be taken away from you again. Those capitalists are used to taking something from you and then giving you something in compensation. Before it was salary, now it's compensation plans.
Occasionally, you bow to reality and pay attention to some new stores, but those prices cannot be bought with compensation.
One night, before you close the shop, you hear the sound of construction work, destroying the original shops. It's not loud and noisy, it's a new space construction technology, but you're terrified and just want to pack up and go home. You have filed a complaint with the court. Once again, you place your hopes on the ethereal, and then you see a figure appear at the window of the bakery.
Ah, it's that customer. He must be here to support you and buy bread.
You maintained your smile and greeted him, "I haven't seen you recently. Where have you been?"
Aventurine just stared. There was some compassion in his expression, and his features were soft. He knew that the gentlest of measures would not work. “…let me talk to you about the new compensation plan.”
You were stunned for a while. "…What do you mean?"
He hands you a card with neatly printed handwriting and the IPC logo.
“Aventurine, Senior Manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department”
You held the card and read it for a while before looking up at him. Your throat was dry but tears were streaming down your face. The holographic screen projects a new plan, specially prepared for you stubborn, idealistic people, to provide better compensation.
"…Go away, I don't want to see you!" You paused for half a minute before getting angry and pushing him out of the store. What flows inside is anger at the betrayal, even though you know he doesn't have to support you. Aventurine's arms opened up to embrace you. You were shocked, struggling, and sobbing. "I don't want to see you…you are with them…I have nothing, and you still want to take it away…"
Halted like an emotional kitten, you whimpered, tired from sobbing, sleep overtook you and darkness enveloped you.
You opened your eyes and found yourself in a luxurious room, with stars visible on the ceiling and a soft quilt covering you. Pillow supports your head. You adjusted to the light for a few seconds, frowned, and moved your hands, but the sound of the chain sounded. You looked at the chains on your hands, stunned, shaking and struggling. "What-what's going on?"
"Ah, you're awake." Aventurine opened the door and came in. He touched your forehead, and you realized that the clothes you were wearing had also been changed. They were a set of pajamas. "What happened?" You shook the chain in your hand in confusion. "Someone attacked us last night?" "Um, it's not like that actually."
Aventurine comforted you and shushed you. "You're locked in. Shhh...shhh, don't scream. I know this may be hard to accept at first, but you'll see the benefits."
He explained, to your expression like a frightened little animal. "…For business purposes, I looked into your background. You've been having a hard time, haven't you? Now you finally have time to relax. This is one of my houses, and it's yours, too."
"I didn't ask you..." Tears welled up in your eyes. Are you going to be locked up? "I know." Aventurine stroked your head gently. "I know, now just relax. I'll take care of the bakery. We'll open a new one somewhere with the ocean, you know, new plans."
You noticed that he used the word "we," which made your heart feel strangely warm. You were speechless, closed your eyes, turned around, a tear flowed down your cheek, and the chain creaked.
This is your new reality, but at least you can rest, right?

Hi! I’d like some advice about something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I’ve realized that I’m not at all the person I want to be, and I really want to change that. I’ve been thinking about simply uninstalling my social media and truly starting over in a more radical way, becoming someone like Paris Geller. Something truly transformative, you know? I’d love to hear your opinion on this, especially since you inspire me so much.
(I love your blog from the bottom of my heart! 🩷)
Hii sweetheart, let me just say: you’re about to make such a bold, amazing move. Deciding to change and become the person you’ve always dreamed of being is not only possible—it’s totally within your reach. And aiming for that Paris Geller vibe? Love it! She’s ambitious, focused, and unstoppable, so you’re setting the bar high (as you should!).
Now, you must remember that real transformations is a journey, not a single dramatic leap. It’s all about small, consistent actions that lead to big changes. So don't despair if the change is not as fast as you expected. Since I love lists, here’s a list to help you start turning your vision into reality (hope you like it!!):
Get super clear on who you want to be.
Write it all down: What does your ideal self think, do, and believe in?
Make a vision board (digital or physical) to keep yourself inspired and focused.
Set clear, actionable goals.
Break your goals into categories: health, relationships, career, mindset, hobbies.
For example, if you want to be as well-read as Paris, commit to reading one book a month or taking an online course.
Cut out distractions and prioritize what matters.
Replace that time with things that actually fuel you, like journaling, meditating, or learning a new skill.
Build routines that boost productivity.
Start your mornings intentionally: plan your day and set your top priorities.
Use tools like planners to stay organized and on track. (Make sure to find a cute diary to motivate you) :)
Focus on healthy habits.
Move your body every day, even if it’s just a walk or a quick workout.
Fuel yourself with good food that energizes you and keeps your mind sharp.
Surround yourself with inspiration.
Find people who motivate you and push you to grow.
Join groups or communities where you can share goals and ideas. I started going to the gym few months ago and there I found a lot of people with the same goal as me (change my mindset and body)
Master the art of saying “no.”
Channel your inner Paris and focus on what actually matters. Protect your time and energy like your future depends on it (because it kind of does).
Celebrate your wins—big or small.
Every step forward is progress. Acknowledge it and enjoy it.
Most importantly, remember this transformation is for YOU. It’s not about impressing anyone else; it’s about waking up every day proud of who you’re becoming. Radical changes are exciting but can also feel overwhelming. If you stumble, get back up. If you doubt yourself, reread what you wrote about who you want to be. And above all, trust yourself. You’ve got everything it takes to make this happen.
I’m already so excited to see the incredible person you’re going to become, (at least more than what you already are). You’ve got this girllll!!!
Love yaaa ♡

been catching snatches of your stormlight posting. never enough to actually understand anything. should i read it
I really liked it! However it was on my reading list for many years before I finally was in the right headspace to dive in. It's a lot.
The Stormlight Archive consists of four fairly long high fantasy novels and two tie in novellas. It takes place on an alternate fantasy world called Roshar, which is part of a larger fantasy universe called the Cosmere. If you like high fantasy epics, or if you're interested in giving them a shot, then yes, definitely try out the Cosmere!
High fantasy, as I define it — sorry if you know this already anon also sorry if my definition differs from other's reading this — is...bigger than life. High fantasy is two main things. First, the setting— magic creatures and fantastical architecture and folks with super cool magic powers. Second, High Fantasy is the way people behave, which verges into Mythology and Fairy Tale. I'll explain.
Don't get me wrong, when well written, and Cosmere is very well written, the people still feel real. I mean the glowing guys wearing vaguely renaissance faire clothing who are fighting the giant rock monsters still have complex relationships with their fathers. But it's also an idealization — people saying the right words at the right time, people being their noblest version of themselves. Read and/or Watch the Lord of The Rings and take notes on Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate. It's the fantasy of people at their best, noble in all the ways we want the word to mean.
Low fantasy, by contrast, is a bit more grounded, both in the setting and the people. The places in low fantasy look more like your day to day on earth — dive bars with bouncers and crude jokes on bathroom doors. The dive bar bouncer in low fantasy is just a massive rock troll and the graffiti has penises of many different fantasy races. The people are a bit more like some guy you know. It can still be a good some guy you know. Just if they have to fight a nightmare monster they're probably ugly crying and maybe peeing themselves a little. People can still be good and bad, they just maybe have a bit less polish.
There's obviously lots of grey area — Game of Thrones has a lot of high fantasy setting elements, being a vaugely mideval europe pastiche with dragons, but the way it focuses on brothels and people trudging through mud is a bit more low, the reality of a world without indoor plumbing, as opposed to the dream of a world without cellphones. It has epic speeches and larger than life figures, but they get bogged down by stuff like taxes and dehydration, which high fantasy doesn't generally linger on. I'd argue some of the worst behavior fits right in with high fantasy — the red wedding is just a much graphic version than we're used to of the ol' scheming advisor trope, but still fits into the archetypes. Anyway.
Discworld by Terry Pratchett is an excellent low fantasy series, and if you're looking for a fantasy book recommendation and haven't read/watched/ didn't really enjoy lord of the rings, or if you did and want to read my favorite series, then read these 100%. If you've read them already — nice.
(I think having some more familiar touchstones makes fantasy novels more enjoyable for folks who aren't into their recreational reading being Very Unlike real life . Discworld is incredibly funny, while also being full of heart. The turns of phrase are adult without being crazy dense. I'm not a personally big grimdark person; I prefer my stories with a core belief that people who are good deep down, which is at the heart of Pratchett's writing. I laughed, I cried. I recommend Guards, Guards as a first book but you can start lots of places.)
To get back a little closer to your initial question — I started reading the Cosmere with Mistborn, which consists of three novels, a several hundred year time gap, and then four more, slightly shorter but still pretty long novels. It takes place on a completely different world from Stormlight. The planets are only tentatively connected, but there the very solid promise that they will interact a lot more soon.
By soon I mean in the next decade as far as book publishing goes, because the author, Brandon Sanderson, is a madman. And by madman I mean he fucking writes like a machine. I checked his website and he posts things like "23% percent through my next book." "45% through" "82% through" who writes like that??? He's also a massive prude, which is hilarious. I love him in a non parasocial way. He's got the next 20 years of book releases mapped out. Whom the fuck??
Anyway if you like high fantasy epics, or want to try one, then yes, definitely try out the Cosmere! It's funny, I've always had a hard time listening to audiobooks, but either things clicked in my head or the narrators, Michael Kremer and Kate Reading, are just that good.
I...actually liked Mistborn more than Stormlight. The first Stormlight book I found a little hard to get through at the start, because the main characters seriously go through it, but I had trust in the author at that point and things DID get better. Mistborn hooked me start to finish and every plot twist felt perfectly executed in a way that Stormlight didn't completely nail for me. I mean, Stormlight Archive is still a great series, with compelling characters and well structured romances and interesting world building and super, super rad fight scenes.
I'm posting obsessively about Stormlight partially because I'm scrambling for more cosmere content (I didn't actually expect to reach the end) and partially because there are things in the books that weren't 100% satisfying, and those spaces are where fandom lives. Again, it's still really, really good. Just long, and sometimes fairly heavy in how much the main characters struggle with mental illness while fighting crab monsters.
In the stormlight archive, your personal fight with depression and PTSD and drug addiction is actually inextricably linked to your super rad glowing magic power fight with rock monsters and crab people. The crab people who also have a lot of trauma and mental illness.
Honestly, I'm not sure how Sanderson is going to resolve that.
But fuck it, TLDR, Stormlight is good but long, and the next book is supposed to resolve a bunch of stuff and it comes out this December, and the way he wrapped up things in his other books was really satisfying! So this is a pretty good time to get into the series!

HEY LOVELY!!!! Now this, THIS, was worth every day i waited. IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. Everything i dreamed it to be and more.
Tony and Mikey scenes? HEARTBREAKING. Every moment they have together, no matter sad or happy, is slowly chipping away at my soul.
Carmen getting a therapist? Genius. Don't know why the writers haven't given him one, boy does he need it.
Syd and Richie making sure Tony is taken care of by sorting Carmen out before he see's her again? Everything. I need them as friends, right now. NOW.
(still pissed at Carmen, though.)
The way you write characters reactions to grief is, like, stunning. STUNNING.
ALSO, as someone with a brother who struggles with drugs, seeing Mikey being portrayed as a nice person with loving friendships is really amazing to see. (the fact i have another brother called Mikey too, freaky? probably not. BUT IM A DRAMATIC PERSON OKAY?)
Anyway, i am genuinely in love with this series. You should be so incredibly proud of your self. Would i be able to get onto the tag list?
Tumblr media
He congratulates you.
the absolutely shattered render quality of this image really fucking makes it. packing update: I've just got the desk and closet left! and also my billion plants.... i really don't want to think about the plants...
SO GLAD it was worth the wait, I hope chapter 14 also is. I'm not the most happy with the ending scenes right now... Happier than I was yesterday... but maybe I just need to stop looking at it, honestly. I'm transforming into S3 Carmen changing that menu every 5 fucking minutes AH.
CHIPPING away you say? not funny. I'd had these scenes in my head for a minute, but I was so worried about being off-base with Mikey's character because all I had to go off of was Fishes, so thank you God for Napkins I would've been so fucked.
SPEAKING OF S3, I know,,, it makes sense that he doesn't have one I mean he hesitated so much to just go to al-anon but even fucking al-anon in S3 he's reverted to just not fuckin' talking which SUCKS !! DON'T SUBTRACT !! PLEASE STOP SUBTRACTING IM BEGGIN YOU!!
I love Syd and Richie and the way they combine forces when it comes to their Shared Work Wife. I think what's so fun about it is that without this being for Chip, Syd wouldn't be so direct, and Richie would be so much fucking meaner, but because it's for her, they actually make an effort to sort Carmen the fuck out. And also beat his ass. two things can be true.
And THANK YOU I write a fuck ton of grief poetry and I think I just went to like. a lot of funerals as a kid. an unexpected consequence of having a kid a lot later than everyone else. It's in my bones. but like in a fun way.
Also, when I read this for the first time, I remember being SO confused because I was like. "There was another option?" And forgot that people fucking suck and see people struggling or in recovery as something that is other. Fucking ew. I never had any intention of portraying Mikey other than the really fucking good brother he is, who also just so happens to be struggling. Don't applaud a fish for swimming! People are people and they should be written as fuckin' people!!!! But I am glad my portrayal was appreciated none the less. YOU'RE NOT DRAMATIC!!
Of COURSE you can be added!! Though I will say, sometimes it doesn't always work when I tag people. So I am. sorry. I think it's something in tumblr settings? Gotta set your shit public or taggable or something? regardless. i'll fuckin put your name in there for sure!! thank you for your thoughts m'love!!
back to packing.... desk or closet desk or closet.... flipped a coin i got desk mannnn... wish me luck!! do i have anything from chapter 14 i can give you?
Tumblr media
is this spoilery? c'est la vie, take it. kisses kisses see you in ideally less than an hour when i finish desk packing.

I just wanted to let you know that the way you wrote is so visceral in the best possible way! The way you create and atmosphere that is so palpable and your use of metaphors is so amazing!!! There are so many golden lines in your work, I’m just truly amazed by it and so grateful to get to read your works!!!
I wanted to mention, I’ve never seen HxH but I’m tempted to do it because your writing of the characters is so enthralling!!
Same thing with HSR! I knew of Blade before and his general character, but the way you write the environment and the characters and just the world in general makes playing the game so tempting, Mihoyo needs to slide you some dollars it’s so serious!!
But yea, I just wanted to gush about your work a bit because you’re truly such an inspiration when it comes to writing and it’s so interesting to hear you talk about your process and your own inspirations/works that you’re interested in! Ty for the recommendations!!
Also, cannot leave without mentioning your writing of the world’s babygirl Scaramouche <3
I do actually play genshin, so just seeing your portrayal of him is so so good and I love how you have looked at his story and how you tie that into his character!! You make him such a pathetic wet cat in the best possible ways, I mean this as a compliment!! The push and pull between him and his ego is as frustrating to watch as it is titillating, I just really love your works waaaaa!!!!!
But, thank u for your time in reading this and for your writing in general, I just wanted to gush about it, thank you!!!! 🫂🩵🩵🩵
AAAAAAAAAAH???????????????
please it's messages like this that make all the effort i put into writing worth it 🥺 even if fanfic is a hobby, i love making the best stories i can. i probably would've lost it without some form of creative expression. i'm so glad that you enjoyed the hxh and honkai stories, even if you're unfamiliar with the world!!! i feel that nexus in particular might not require being super familiar with honkai star rail, since it's set on a planet that doesn't appear in canon. that changed how i wrote the setup, since the preexisting knowledge readers can draw from is different.
i love being able to ramble away about my influences and inspirations!! i imagine it's added ten years to the lives of the people around me to have an outlet like this 😭 stories just make an impression on me that can't stop at the last word/the starts of the credits.
scara <33333333333 it's crazy how mihoyo hit every trait that makes me go feral for a character. he's a perfect bundle. the insecurity from abandonment, God Complex, mommy issues, doll and kabuki motifs, on and on the list could go. i know i've mentioned it before, but scara is a dream of writers/artists. ideal muse. there's just so much you can do with the fella.
thank you so much for the kind words omg, i feel undeserving 😭... thank you thank you!!!!

Weekend WIP Game
Rules: List your WIPs below (if you only write one fic at a time, feel free to include future WIPs/ideas!) then answer the following questions. Then, tag as many people as you have WIPs (or more).
Thanks to @kiwiana-writes @daisymae-12 @myheartalivewrites @hgejfmw-hgejhsf for the tag!
1. WIP List: (Bolded have words, the others are just on the list)
Super Six and the Siren's Call (PJO AU)
Claremont 2008
Baby's First Pride
Daddy Issues (father storylines swapped, snippet linked)
AU of Someone's Fic (this is vague on purpose lol)
Grey's Prequel
RWRB Trans Alex Gender Rewrite
Amtrak Meet-Cute
Alex Gymnast AU
Threesgiving
F1 AU
Alex (and somewhat Henry) Experiences Quintessential Queer Things For the First Time
Honestly I feel like I'm missing some but this is a lot lol.
2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest? Super Six and the Siren's Call, we have over 48,000 words written
3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest? Also Super Six and the Siren's Call, it's gonna be a Book
4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why? Super Six and the Siren's Call is great because co-writing really keeps me motivated and focused even when I'm starting to lose energy! I also really enjoyed writing the Alex Chapter of Daddy Issues (I only have two chapters written lol)
5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why? The AU of Someone Else's Fic-I had an idea I just needed to get down but I haven't talked to that author about it yet so sometimes I add to it when inspired but it's hard to make forward progress when I don't know if it'll ever go anywhere or just live in google docs forever
6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why? Same answer as above, I just feel weird even though it would be doing something different from their fic I just get nervous about stepping on toes.
7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why? I mean I want a beta for all of them ideally, but for Daddy Issues it's 1) hefty and deals with MCD, and 2) I haven't written a lot/really any smut but I believe it will have some lol
8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block? Baby's First Pride I'm sorry to all the fans, I promise I will get back to it. I just haven't felt inspired and don't want to half-ass it.
9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them? Daddy Issues I got to create the whole Díaz side of the family which is super fun. I'm white, but I have extended family from South America who I've spent time with and I'm drawing on those experiences a lot.
10. Which WIP is the sexiest? Threesgiving even though @affectionatelyrs and I only have vague ideas
11. Which WIP is the angstiest? Daddy Issues, we're dealing with MCD, divorce, mental health issues. Also Chapter 5 of Claremont 2008 is gonna have canon MCD but it'll still be angsty, though I think less angsty than canon?
12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)? I don't think any of them is much better than the others, but I do love our characterization in Super Six and the Siren's Call. I also had a lot of fun playing with younger Alex and Henry in Daddy Issues and Claremont 2008.
13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)? Again probably Super Six and the Siren's Call because this is not my strength but @inexplicablymine is great at this.
14. Which WIP have you worked the hardest on? I mean, one is 48,000 words and the next one is 17,000. So.
15. Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? Why? Not to beat a dead horse but....we have plans for Super Six and the Siren's Call. However individually either Grey's or Daddy Issues. People seem to love the snippets for the second one which is making me really excited.
16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs? Once in a while? Ironically I dreamed about @inexplicablymine's WIP the other night which is hilarious to me.
17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don't? As of this exact moment Claremont 2008 has a lot of epistolary pieces that I really love that are not in other WIPs, and I have been using skins and html coding on texts which has been a game changed imo. Also one of my WIPs has a lot of POVs, some I've never written before.
18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour? The Super Six and the Siren's Call not to toot my own horn but I feel like I've really been able to nail Rick's brand of sarcasm, @read-and-write- and @inexplicablymine too.
19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process? Yes, and I wrote Nora's POV recently and it really just flowed out of me, I was super surprised by how easily writing her came to me.
20. Tell us one thing we don't know about one or more of your WIPs. For the AU of Someone Else's Fic Henry and Alex meet right after Alex's bisexual awakening, and then Alex blows Henry off because he's just found out he's gonna be a father.
Here's a tag per WIP, sorry if I missed someone's that already did this (no pressure also)! @heybuddy-drabbles @affectionatelyrs @littlemisskittentoes @inexplicablymine @read-and-write- @14carrotghoul @sherryvalli @hypnostheory @mainstreamelectricalparade @suseagull04 @user-anakin @tintagel-or-cockleshells @gay-flyboys

PF2e Alkenstar Character Concepts
Not the AP necessarily, just characters knocking around the city and its environs. I’ve been watching a youtube channel called Mythkeeper who goes into the lore of Golarion, and he recently had a regional deep dive on Alkenstar and the Mana Wastes. I’m loving the simultaneous noir, western, steampunk and fantasy vibes here. So. Some Alkenstari concepts:
Elda Willwright, dwarven gutter press journalist (printer background, investigator class, might also take the archaeologist archetype, in the sense of ‘digging up dirt’). Strongly built around the Society and Thievery skills, she has her fingers in a lot of pies and a lot of post boxes, and keeps particular tabs on gruesome murders around the city. For her readership, of course.
Ingra Darkrend, tiefling/dwarven back alley doctor and gunslinger. Re-using one of my first PF2e character concepts, but she fits really well, with just a little tweaking of her background to fit better into Alkenstar specifically. She works a lot in the Ironside Quarter and the Undercity, defiantly providing medical help to mutants and other undesirables. Will likely take the medic archetype along the way.
Lydie Low, fleshwarp back alley teacher (teacher background, rogue class). One of the aforementioned undesirables, Lydie was a respected instructor back in the day, but a mana storm mishap put an end to that. Now a resident of the Undercity, she knows she’ll never regain the respect her education once brought her, but other people might. She runs hidden classes to try to give urchins, street toughs and whoever else wants them their basics of reading, writing and mathematics.
Thoughtful Claw, gnoll inventor with the saved by clockwork background. Mostly I wanted a bespectacled gnoll, but ‘work smarter not harder’ is a listed gnoll ideal, so inventor actually fits quite nicely. I feel like she got dragged in out of the desert missing a limb, and got herself a shiny clockwork replacement, and just got enchanted by the idea. Clockwork. Just fell head over heels. I’m also curious how that works with gnoll ancestor worship and bone recycling. Would your grandmother’s bronze clockwork prosthetic punching arm be a suitable vehicle of ancestor veneration?
Jessie Screwlark, human street urchin swashbuckler. Specifically the braggart swashbuckler. One of the many urchins from Hellside who spent their lives scrambling around the cliffside shanty town, Jessie is a scrappy, pugnacious little teenage hellion who’s bound and determined that she’s gonna be an Observer one day and fly dirigibles for the city. She’s got big dreams, and she talks to match.
Essaru/’Essi’, Iruxi wandering snake oil saleswoman and thaumaturge (charlatan background). A tough and breezily practical wanderer of the Spellscar desert who drifts into town every so often, Essi deals in little magics, both real and entirely false. There’s a fool born ever minute, and she sure can pick ‘em. And hey, sometimes the tinctures and talismans she sells are the real deal. Just for a change of pace on occasion. Or if she likes you.
I’m trying really hard not to make them all dwarves. But. I also love both gnolls and lizardfolk, and I adore fleshwarps, so the Mana Wastes and their small mutation problem is a fantastic excuse to make some. And I’ll throw in a human too, just because they’re a lot of the population of the city. Class-wise, because of the whole ‘unstable magic’ thing, I have largely erred away from spellcasters, which is fine, because I’m liking the western vibe. This is such a fun setting!

Week 2: Ideal Role
Prompt: Describe your ideal role of environmental interpreter. What might it entail? Where might it be? What skills might you need?
Hello again everyone,
I hope everyone has been doing well! I’ve been quite busy but doing a lot of good work! <3
When I used to hear “nature interpreter”, I honestly never really knew much about what it meant. I thought, “why would nature need an interpreter? It doesn’t speak.” Over the years, I have of course learnt that it in fact does. A nature interpreter is someone who, like a language interpreter, is a link between two different worlds, allowing us a glimpse into something we may not have been able to know beforehand. Nature does not speak but instead shows us what it wants to say, and their job is to tell everyone else about it. For example, interpreters get to show others the beauty of nature through behaviours of animals. Sometimes  there may be a flock of birds “mobbing” (a bunch of smaller birds annoying and attacking other larger birds) which means that these larger birds, usually birds of prey, are in the area. This can be great for people who would want to see these species, or even just people who enjoy nature as a whole.
My ideal role of being an interpreter would entail a focus on birds- my absolute favourites! I have always been a huge bird nerd, although I do enjoy many other aspects of nature! I already do a lot of work with interpreters to set up guided birding walks through the club I have been helping to run for the last little while, so I know about what it entails.
My dream walk would likely be either something somewhere across the world travelling and leading birding walks, or in the province where I would take people to one of the large provincial parks that are under the atlantic and/or mississippi flyways such as Point Pelee provincial park during peak spring migration. I am always a little bit more biased towards the spring as you get to see birds out of their wintering plumages covered in the bright colours they are known for. Along with this, Point Pelee is home to one of my favourite warblers, the protonotary. Canada is believed to only have around ~30 breeding pairs left so it’s a truly special palace to be able to see them. Along with this, it’s an incredibly important place to many birders as hundreds of people flock (pun intended!) to see some birds they may never have seen otherwise as they migrate.
I would love to be able to host a nice tour with a smaller group where we can all learn from each other and I would love to teach them everything I know about birds. I would need a bit more skill with my bird calls, as they are definitely my weakest spot. Knowing calls is really important, but I find it to be quite hard sometimes! I would also need to know the routes and find lists of birds that commonly are found there, as well as potential migratory fallouts that could appear. I really hope that one day I may be able to do this!

Hi! Thank you so much for this opportunity ❤️ I hope you are doing well 🫶
My initials are SQ and I would love to have a beautiful and cozy kitchen to cook in 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👅 plus an exercise room for easy access lol My ideal self care routine would be a good exercise and a nice long bath after, followed by the usual body self care like oiling up and a nice massage.
thank you so much for your time and energy! Sending you much love and light ❤️
Hi SQ,
Thank you so much for participating in
my Home ask game.
Yes, having a beautiful and cozy kitchen would likely make you want to enjoy cooking more! You're actually the first one to mention an exercise room in your ideal home!
I absolutely love how consistent your mention on having a exercise as part of your ideal self care routine. Also, your de-stressing and relaxing aftercare is important.
So the cards I pulled are:
10 of Wands, 7 of Wands, 2 of Swords
Tumblr media
Based on the cards pulled, to be at home in your own body and life, you'd have to find a way to unburden yourself of other people's problems. Like, if it's not your problem, it's not responsibility, then why lose sleep on issues that aren't meant to be yours to solve?
Also heard, find a way to lessen your financial burden. Basically, the keys to being at home with yourself is to curate your version of a less stressed way of life. It's not saying that you'll be completely stress free, but it's more of, if you can lessen your sources or impacts of stress, please find a way and do so.
Now with this one, it's actually suggesting for you to not take all the responsibility on your shoulders. Which for me, it's suggesting that you ask for help or support from people who you know won't take advantage of your current predicament. People who genuinely want to help you unload your burdens because they truly care about you.
Another way to be at home in your body and life is to stand up to your healthy boundaries and protect and defend what you hold most dear. Let's say you have a certain set of personal beliefs that you consider your core values, and someone comes and tries to attack those core values. You're advised to stand your ground and defend your core values unapologetically.
Being firm with your healthy boundaries is non-negotiable advice for being at home in your body and life.
Finally, the last suggestion so that you learn to be at home in your body and life is making the hard decisions to balance out fulfilling responsibilities and achieving your dreams and goals in life. I heard, that if you have an expensive wish list or bucket list that you want to achieve, create a sustainable monetary source to fund those expensive things and trips. Don't just keep wishes and dreams as a concept, do what needs to be done to fund those dreams and turn them into reality.
This concludes the end of your reading.
Do let me know how this resonates with you.
Feel free to show some support via my Buy Me A Coffee here

In today’s world, the Law of Attraction has become a common topic, and while it may seem woo woo to skeptics and non believers, it has proven to be a very real, very obtainable practice by successful people, if you just get your mind right. What I mean by that, is simply that you must align the vibration of your beliefs and emotions with your desired reality. Know it is yours and feel as though it already is, and it will be.  Now, let’s take this a step further. We all have 7 chakra centers within our body, that play a major roll in our mental, physical and spiritual health. I want you to stop for a moment and consider how powerful your ability to manifest could be, if you used each unique chakra to fuel your dream into reality!   Here I will list each chakra center and its defining principle in relation to The Law of Attraction, as well as how exactly you can utilize these principles to create your desired reality: 1. 7th chakra (crown)- Consciousness creates     • The crown chakra is where your manifestation will begin. You will use your conscious awareness to draw attention to your dream. This can be done by consistently meditating on your desire, setting daily intentions and asking big questions (“What would it feel like if this were my reality right now?” Or “How might my life begin to change and improve if my dream were manifested into reality?” 2. 6th chakra (third eye)- Vision vitalizes     • Manifesting with the third eye chakra requires you to look within yourself to discover your life purpose through identifying past patterns, dreaming about your ideal life and becoming confident in what you want to manifest to fulfill your purpose. This could look like, spending time in silence, strengthening your ability to imagine through consistent practice and trusting your intuition. 3. 5th chakra (throat)- Conversion catalyzes     •Now that you have a dream that you want to manifest, it’s time to start communicating your desire to people in your life who have your best interest at heart and even to yourself by developing an internal dialogue with your chakras. Get excited and share with your loved ones what you are trying to manifest or broadcast it by posting about it on social media, a podcast or write a song about your desire and perform it.  4. 4th chakra (heart)- Love launches     • Now you are starting to see your dream take shape and form in your life. It’s time to allow relationships to blossom that will assist you in co-creating. Embrace asking for help and strengthening your support network. Connect with your heart and ask yourself what you love about your dream.  5. 3rd chakra (solar plexus)- Power produces     •It is time to take action. The solar plexus calls for you to be proactive and align your will with your desire. Also, a word of advice that I have for you, is that many people fear the action step and stay in the upper chakra levels listed above, and never see their manifestation come into fruition. Try not to worry about how your dream is going to become reality. This is where people get caught up. The details don’t matter, the universe will take care of it for you.  6. 2nd chakra (sacral)- Pleasure pleases     • It is here that we embody the water element of the sacral chakra by nourishing our dream through sustainable practice, getting rid of what doesn’t serve the purpose of our dream and learning to attract what we need first, then what we want.  7. 1st chakra (root)- Matter matters     • As our dream enters the final stages of manifestation, it’s important to honor the root chakra by fulfilling our commitment to our dream by finishing any projects related to it. Celebrate, rest and enjoy your efforts! I hope you find this information helpful, as I have found it to be so myself once having practiced this technique and actually seeing my dreams manifest into reality. I urge you to give it a good try, and if you do this right, you will be surprised at the life you can create with just your mind!

Blog: A how-to guide I need to follow to get my dream media job.
As suggested in the vlog the profession in the media industry I want to go into is design and digital marketing. To achieve this, I will need to follow the following plan and timeline.
1.Take the right courses and choose relevant electives
Setting yourself up from the start by learning the right skills in the right courses for your career is important. For design and digital marketing enrol and make sure you’ve done or are planning to do courses that are essential for all media degrees and more niche electives with relevance and application of graphic design, marketing, branding or even English and writing based electives. Make sure you’re doing these courses early on in your degree to make sure that its relevant to your interests, but also to organise so that if you wanted to do a design elective in your third year you would have completed all the prerequisites to not be faced with complications.
2.Express interest in internships and participate in university assisted opportunities to get as much experience as early on as possible
Sign up to get emails with opportunities and internships from the University of Adelaide careers hub. When you hear about an opportunity even remotely relevant put your name down - You never know what might help you the future and the more experience the better. “Employers are keen to recruit graduates from a whole range of disciplines, and specialist knowledge or enthusiasm for an unusual subject can be a tremendous asset”. (Gregory, 2008) Basically, any skills may turn out be good skills so just give it a shot.
3.Build up a contact list of connections
Through internships, peers in your classes and other opportunities build a contact list of people in the industry so that you can better your chance at finding opportunities that best suit you and your goals. Networking and building your contacts is one step to have actual value in your contacts list you actually need to leave an impression on them so that they will remember you among their contacts. “When you find the right people and impress those people, everything else will take care of itself”. (Leibman, 2012)
4.In final year of degree undertake an internship that is completely alike to the profession
It will give you the best first experience seeing exactly how your first job after university will be. An internship shadowing a designer or leader of a marketing team or doing entry level projects as an intern will better the understanding you have for content in the rest of your media courses but also will help you develop new skills to put on your resume. “Surveys show that more than one-third of students who intern at organizations are hired by the employer after graduation, and half of all new hires had previous internship experience”. (Scheele, 2005) Evidence, like this exemplifies how beneficial internships would be.
5.Graduate with all the skills, experience and motivation achieved from degree
Following all the previous advice in the guide at this point you should have excelled in your studies at university level and would be ready to apply your experience as soon as you can.
6.Ideally, use contacts and connections when applying to work in a digital design and marketing profession
Relying on the fact that you would have built up a great reputation with professionals you have met in the media industry hopefully that if you use your resources well your contacts will vouch for you and the skills and experience you have demonstrated to them only being a university graduate.
7.Once you have your job don’t lose motivation, apply skills learnt at university and excel creating new goals to advance in the field.
Once you’ve gotten a job, strive for more. Without a goal you won’t stay motivated to excel once you’ve settled into your career. Look for something that will be a challenge to you.

Hey! I know you get tons of asks daily, but I saw you reblogged my old anon post lol (this one > https://at.tumblr.com/cinefairy/long-post-ahead-the-4d-is-the-only-real-reality/us69phf7wzjv idk how to link it bc I’m on mobile) but anyways I just wanted to update everyone to say that I’m doing so very well. Back then I was so stressed and idk I TRULY didn’t understand the law and I was still looking outward and I was stilll reading Neville and over consuming and not actually being a doer but I just wanted to update that all of those things are behind me and that I’ve manifested a lot of things now so I’ll list the ones I’m comfortable with sharing
1. I got into my dream college, I was orginally planning to go to an Ivy League but I realized I truly never really desired that and I just wanted to get in for the aesthetics and for my ego but deep down I wanted to go to this local small private art school near me and I got in! And I’m a top student as well. My teachers love me, recently one of my teachers used my work as an example for others and gave me extra credit!
2. Everything in my life has gotten so much easier. I’ve realized that I am the cause and if I am the cause of the bad things then I can also be the cause of the good things so I completely got rid of my inner critic and my fears/anxieties/worries and I am no longer surviving but thriving!
3. Making friends has gotten so much easier and my relationship with myself and my inner man it’s so amazing. Like yesterday I was shopping for perfume for myself with family bc it was my birthday and one of the workers complimented my vintage jeans and she was like she really loved vintage jeans and she told me all these places where she gets her vintage stock and I told my mom and she’s taking me and a friend to the places next week!
4. I manifested two of my ideal lululemon define jackets and flares! I asked my brother for it for my birthday and I really only asked for the jacket but I told myself he’s gonna give me two sets. So when my birthday came around he gave me a lululemon gift card and I opened it and it was for $400! Which I was able to order the two jackets and flares.
5 . I can easily play whatever I want on my guitar. I used to procrastinate on my guitar bc I thought it would be sooooo hard and that I would never be like my inspirations like Eddie Van Halen and Slash but once I went back to my roots and started back living in my imagination (NOT in a daydreaming way, wishing I could be just like them NO I assumed I was wayyy better than them ALL) it all became so much easier
6. I have fully accepted the laws of the law of assumption yk the basics like your imagination/inner man is the cause of it all and all of that crap (thanks to Edward art btw). I think that’s really a crucial reason why I think I really was “stagnant” with manifesting and just running in circles I truly didn’t understand the law. All I was doing was “trying” to get something and I was going 3D > 4D and I was affirming on loop just doing shit.
7. I finally got my learners permit lolz. I took my test and only missed two questions out of 40.
8. I finally realized what I truly desired. Now this one is so crucial because I remember reading on here about how some people are imagining things they truly don’t want and then Edward art said that you have to imagine what YOU want and not what OTHERS want from you and I did some deep diving and I realized I didn’t want what I wanted like I didn’t want fame, or fortune, or for people to be obsessed with me, or a baddie lifestyle, or men to flock at me, or a hypergamy lifestyle. I realized that was just who and I was using those lifestyles to fulfill the ego and I really view the ego as a bottomless pit like it’s only gonna get bigger and bigger until you just ignore it or pop it yourself. Like I didn’t want all of this designer crap like all I wanted was a life like the movie “dazed and confused” where I party til I drop on the weekends and I study like Rory Gilmore on the weekdays and I have this nice 70s-early 2000s rock/metal sound track vibe (I can’t explain this part but I just made a playlist and imagined my scenarios to it) and my own unique vintage style and I got that. 🤷🏾‍♀️ like if you desire something “odd” or “wonky” or “not so popular” like that then GO for it. No one is stopping you but self.
But now my inner man is fulfilled and if I desire something no matter how small or large I fulfill it instantly! Bc that’s what I’m here for anyways 🤷🏾‍♀️
Anyways I believe that’s really all I want to reveal. The law is really really easy peasy like when people say that they 100% mean it. Like no you don’t have to affirm 500 times, no you don’t have to mediate 5 times a day. All of it is coming FROM you not AT you. You are the cause of it all. Edward Art really helped me open my eyes more than they already were opened. He’s really the only law of assumption source I really trust other than Neville and a couple of blogs on here. But if you are still “stuck” (which you never are), I would 100% check out Edward art on YouTube and Reddit bc his wisdom freed me from a lot of things that I didn’t even consciously know I was doing. But you HAVE to apply it. You can’t be a hearer only. You have to apply the wisdom.
“The only real illusion is your disbelief that you don’t have your desires”
this is so amazing anon. im so happy for you. and i relate to you so much on the last point, go for the desires YOU TRULY DEEPLY WANT. do not alter your desires based on what other people popularise.
glad you’re living the life you want, you deserve it, im proud and you’re incredibly smart and inspiring ❤️

Truthfully, I never quite understood what people mean by having 'comfort characters.' My guess would be characters that people "vibe" with or simply enjoy for no particular reason.
Some shallow googling later,  ambiguity is still present. Urban Dictionary says it's a character that 'makes you feel safe and happy when upset, sad, down etc.' By that definition... I don't think I have any? I rarely truly feel down and I can't remember any character that I found comfort in in those rare instances.
Then there's this article here: https://mag.remarkist.com/p/comfort-characters-and-what-they
It maintains a similar sentiment to the point above - "A Comfort Character is just what it says on the tin: any fictional character that evokes a sense of comfort and relaxation in the viewer." It goes on to list a set of example categories under that:
1) one you wish was your parent
2) one who represents an ideal self
3) one you'd want as a friend
4) one that inspires you to imagine a better world
5) one that you crush on
While I still don't think any character I've perceived has ever relieved me of discomfort, I have plenty of characters that I consciously/subconsciously think represents a part of myself that I appreciate or idealize. So mostly category #2!
------------------------
So finally... 5+ comfort characters in no particular order:
-Bowser
The Koopa King! Arrogant, hot-tempered, and bull-headed, this guy is a classic bully! His personality feels like the part of myself I've kept comfortably boxed for civility's sake that gets to live vicariously through his antics. I enjoy seein him bein a menace to red stache 'n co! I also like how Nintendo has spotlighted him as a caring father to Jr. The world needs more involved, devoted fathers!👍
-Uncle Iroh
Speaking of fathers, Iroh is an amazing role model of a character. A lot of how he is seems to align with me and my values. He is wise, down-to-earth, humble, principled, knowledgeable, humorous, strong, and most importantly... He is passionate about tea! Any person who takes tea and coffee seriously, gets huge bonus points, not that Uncle needed it! Long live The Dragon of the West! (Yes, yes I know. Shut. 🤏)
-Iris's Dragonite
On the topic of dragons, this guy... Unlike how many depictions of his species type his kind as friendly, goofy oversized pears with inadequate wings, the sheer amount of Na in this grump's veins is beastly. A fine video detailing his history in the anime can be seen here:
https://youtu.be/GtY5IFI2Rwc?si=W4SygcHF9-S43ErZ
He values personal strength highly and is eager to fight strong opponents with no fear of facing a disadvantage (in fact he seems to welcome it with sheer determination) and yet he still has the desire to protect the innocent and mentor those who wish to get stronger. He eventually learns to value teamwork over solely trusting one's personal brute strength. What a solid mentality! Get strong. Help others get strong. Believe in the strength of others alongside you. I like that. I like that muchly!
-Asgore
Antithetical to the grouch above, Asgore is very polite, sweet, and highly empathetic. Despite his regal position, The Monster King wants nothing more than to foster the hopes n dreams of all those whom he encounters... to a fault. He earnestly celebrates others' accomplishments and delights in bringing others gifts. So much of the cheeriness above is something I personally rate myself lacking in and it's something that I've been actively working on trying to do beyond the usual treat others the way I want to be treated. Also I am an orchid and general plant enthusiast and the fella enjoys growing flowers himself so there's a point of similarity there, haha!
-Incineroar
A divisive set of stripes on this king of the ring. People love to hate'm, but I am rather fond of the charisma, the showmanship, and that smug underbite! Full-on heel appeal! Unlike Iris's dragonite that fights with purpose, this guy loves to fight for the thrill and pageantry of it! And honestly? Same! I love fighting, flexing, and testing my skill and delighting onlookers with the back and forth, tit for tat, bruise for cut! Hear that roar all around you? Let's make em LOUDER.
-"Chorobi"/"Char-ly" the Charizard
Bonus round from the pokemon short "Blossom's Dream"! The final bell rung for this fierce competitor a long while ago and he's enjoyin his golden years at his retired trainer's residence. His dopey, dozey grandpa relationship with his trainer's daughter and neighborhood kids is stinkin adorable. Later on in the short, when there's a commotion that involves the gal and her newly found Nidoran friend, she beseeches Char-ly to help her fix the problem and the fire and intensity of his old self wakes up. Gramps dragon (shush, I know) still has it in him! Honestly, this is probably the only one that fits category #3 for me!
----
And with that... Those are my 6 comfort characters to share with you all. Thanks for tagging me @hunterbahamut ! Didn't think this is how I'd spend my day but here we are! I dunno a lot of folks here so... Tagging @pictorisaurora !
Got tagged by @mondengel to post 5 comfort characters and then tag 5 people in no particular order.
1. Kuchiki Byakuya
2. Kurosaki Ichigo
3. Oskar Von Reuenthal
4. Wolfgang Mittermeyer
5. Luke Skywalker
Tagging @the-winds-of-kushala @bothzangetsus @ichinosejager13 @azirtheshark @momo-de-avis
