I am currently halfway through C1 Ep100, and holy fuck, I REALLY wanna talk about Tary a little bit.

Spoilers ahead for anyone who cares

I love how much character growth Tary has gone through in the 15 or so episodes he’s been in so far. He went from an annoying little shit that the party hated to a less annoying little shit that everyone loves, and I am HERE for it.

I mean, obviously everyone was in a sort of sore spot after Scanlan left, so obviously they weren’t too keen on the new guy at first. But after Keyleth’s coronation thing, I think they all started respecting each other.

And the fact that they all got to really bond over the year of peace is amazing, especially since Tary isn’t all that useful in battle once his patches run out. And the fact that he STOOD UP TO HIS FATHER, and called him out for all his bullshit is just *chefs kiss*.

And I do love the fact that, even though he was planning on leaving soon, he decided to stay a little while longer and help his friends fight a weird demon orb that he knew nothing about (although, something tells me that he probably sensed a lot of tension between the party and Scanlan)

Also, a slight side note, but I love that Sam CHOSE to keep Tary along for the ride, KNOWING that he’d have to play two characters. I also love the fact that Laura (I think it was Laura, it might’ve been someone else) and Travis basically forced Sam to make Tary and Scanlan have a conversation. Also I love that Sam (probably subconsciously tbh) started making Tary into Scanlan 2.0 all of a sudden (especially when he was reading about an item, and was constantly saying “like my dick”.)

Idk, I think I’m probably biased here because I absolutely adore Sam Reigel, so I am very fond of his characters.
