I have a few headcanons for most of the SDR2 ghosts!

Spoilers for SDR2

So overall i like to think that the ghosts in SDR2 are more like spectators. Like in certain Minecraft minigames where, when you die, you get put in spectator mode. So they're not actually brain dead, their physical avatars have just been deleted and they were forced to switch game modes, if that makes sense. It would be a failsafe in the NWP if any of the participants were to get hurt or die.

Appearance-wise, all of the ghosts look normal but have additional wounds based on how they died. But there are a couple fun things for some of them:

That's why Chiaki can see them! She's an observer for the NWP, so she has to be able to monitor all of the participants, alive or dead.

They all usually walk around like normal, but sometimes if they're feeling silly they float like they're in water.

Terteru got deep fried, so his hair would have that breading and would always be very toasty to be around. (I have another ask about his appearance that I'll do a drawing for :3)

Nekomaru appears as his human self with a burn scar across his chest.

Ibuki’s head comes off and she tosses it around sometimes for fun.

Nagito is just drenched in blood. Hands, arms, stomach, legs, mouth. Bro is pink.

Chiaki doesn't exactly have a ghost in the same way the others do. Her program essentially gets deleted and tries to reboot itself, because we see her after her execution in canon. Until the point she talks to Hajime alone, her avatar is glitched out.

During the 6th trial, when Hajime is having a breakdown after being told he's Izuru and dealing with that, Chiaki is able to pull him out of his physical avatar to talk to her in the programs version of limbo, before being able to send him back.

I really like doing the ghost au with sdr2 because it differs from the other games, being a simulation, and you can do a lot of fun technological stuff with it.

am i danganronpa posting in the year of 2023? yes. i am. anyways sdr2 will forever be one of my favorite casts of characters and i love them all dearly. so i basically just drew all of them as stylized as i could. 

these were 90% done from memory except for mahiru bc i forgot what she looked like entirely besides her color scheme.

thought process for all of them under the cut in order of when i drew them

mikan: my brain went to that one sprite of her as it does. and she’s purple and honestly doesn’t have enough specific craziness to have more than one color so she’s very one-color 

kazuichi: very sharp. very square. very pink as well, but just pink didn't feel right. he has to have that gross green 

akane: i couldn’t see her colors being changed v much but not so much that its. too normal.

 teruteru: very proud of his face. he's very oval.  and still not crazy enough for many colors 

hiyoko: it was a very specific vision to have her with the UGLIEST yellow hair. also i don’t like the banana shape so i tried several other pigtail shapes to be normal about 

gundham: took me about 3 tries to get his drawing right. i still have a crush on him. he’s mostly magenta but i felt like that was too little so i gave him red eyes

ibuki: i am proud of her. needed her to look fucking radioactive 

sonia: silly girl! she's relatively normal looking but she is not a normal lady. very :3 coded 

chiaki: im sOOO proud of my color choices for her. idk why but the dull pink and blue combo is my fave. also i completely went off base with her design on purpose bc i don’t like her actual design. my girl is a GAMER. let her look like one. 

mahiru: i don’t know much about her i actually had to google just her so i knew what her hair looked like. ok bowl cut you eat that up! 

nagito: he’s fucking insane. don’t like how his hair looks ingame so i made it better. i also totally forgot his outfit if you couldn’t tell. love giving crazy people neon eyes 

fuyuhiko: made him accidentally smaller than the rest but i think it fits. baby face... little fucker 

peko: tried to make her colorful but at the same time incredibly gray. she gives gray to me. she radiates gray

monokuma: i don’t like the strictly black and white design so i might it alot more red, and just made all the extra bits bright fucking red 

imposter: i didn’t know what to do with him but my brain told me to make him orange so i did. 

nekomaru: originally he was just gonna be blue, but my brain was like no... give him a more prominent smile. so i did ! 

monomi: had to make her soo pink and silly coded... gave her a closed eye, a tongue out, and made her folded ear just tilted down a bit more. 

hajime: i tried to make him the most normal looking out of all of them. he just had to be.

I dont think her ""bad"" qualities take away from her character. I think it's very interesting how her nursing talent ties in with her trauma.

I liked her 'snap' moment and her as a Remnant is one of my favourite 'bad' scenarios. I liked her Culprit moment most of all culprit moments.

One of the more scary characters when she gets into that mood!

She should get free reign to fucking deck people who treat her badly. She should have gotten a Moment as Hiyokos killer to make it more personal. Tbh I would have liked to see a reasoning for Ibuki too, since Ibuki consistently likes her.

Ibuki and Impostor are both awesome and Mikan deserves them as partners.

did you know in the anime when Mikan gets pushed over (by nagito) Ibuki says "I got you sweetie!" I just think that's neat

She and Fuyuhiko actually briefly bonded in the hospital (he later says something like "she is Clearly unstable" bc that's not the Mikan he got to briefly know)

She grows up TALL tall. Sort of Deer on Ice vibes

Beige/earthy pinks and soft/loose materials are SO her style!!!

Of course she was easily corrupted/ manipulated by someone like Junko, her life was horrible. Biggest reason she bought into her love with Junko is because otherwise , if it wasnt real, she believes No One has Ever Loved her Ever.

she cuts her own hair later, that's why it's still so choppy when short. But its hers now!! And Ibuki says it looks totally cutepunkcore!!

I made this meme template myself. This is not a ranking based on how much I like their hairstyles, just on how easy it is to draw them. Details under the cut.

I'm thinking of ranking the characters for how easy it is to draw their full designs as well.

I started off having some trouble with Kazuichi but I draw her every day and now I'm too biased to properly judge the difficulty.

For me, Chiaki's hair looks harder to draw than it actually is. Fuyuhiko's hair to the side has some more details but it's not too much imo (I keep thinking he looks like Dash from the Incredibles lol).

I have some trouble with Nekomaru's eyebrows and Akane's hair strands. Mahiru's hair looks easy but it's at that length where it's very easy to go too short or too long, but if you pay attention and get it right once it's easy to go off of that drawing.

Hajime's hair always takes me multiple tries to get it right. Gundham's wisp always feels off to me when I draw it. Nagito's hair looks like something I'd be able to memorize but alas, I cannot (maybe I just don't draw him that much?), and it bugs me more than it should. Poor Mikan and her uneven haircut, but also the hair strands elude me and I can never decide if I like drawing square-ish hair strands or pointy hair strands more.

Sonia and Peko have like 3 layers of beautiful nonsense that's great to look at and annoying to draw (Sonia's braid infuriates me), Teruteru's entire hairpiece throws me for a loop (and the braids on the side confused me for a while but I'm better with them now), and Ibuki's hair is great to draw until you have to color her and suddenly it's Hell (Gundham has a lighter version of this but at least it's only two colors other than the sideburns).

Cooking something. Design notes below the cut.

This actually started with me getting angry about Ibaraki's writing, which resulted in asking myself "can I make more Shutenfaces for Ibaraki to kiss". So here we are.

Making Shutenfaces means copying the homework of Saberfaces, so my first thought was "what does Shuten Alter even look like". Frankly, there's a few answers to that:

1.) Shuten is an anti-hero (and in FGO terms that's more like "antagonist" than the plain English meaning); she's not a hero, so you can't give her an Alter that turns her evil if she's already evil.

2.) Okay! Let's ignore that first point because that's the boring answer. Instead, I think Ibuki is actually thematically closest to a "Shuten Alter": a twisted "what if" emphasis on different parts of a spirit's legend. Shuten is evil-aligned but strangely playful; Ibuki is good-aligned but represents sheer destruction. If we apply "alter" to an evil servant like Shuten, wouldn't we get Ibuki? Maybe not, since there's an argument for them being entirely different Spirit Origins, but thematically Ibuki seems close.

3.) The second answer doesn't leave me with much to work with, and I like Berserker of Samghata Hell, so that's how we got here. The summoning of the cursed Swordsmasters is kiiiiinda like Berserker Lancelot, and he always felt Alter-like to me. Kiiiiiiinda. In any case, she’s more violent and sadistic than Shuten, makes me feel funny feelings, etc. That’s enough for me.

Even though she was a Swordmaster, "samghata" is translated to "crushing" - I drew a sword first, but scrapped it for a tetsubo.

Horns are Summer Ibuki's; seems to be Raita's preferred way to draw Ibuki, and I agree. I was never in love with the lightning bolts and bangs on Saber. Eye makeup is Saber Ibuki's, though.

Clothing... I need to work on. It's got the spiral cloud motif present in some of Shuten and Ibuki's design. There's a Shuten drawing Raita did that I was inspired by, but I'm having trouble finding it.

Hoop earrings and tattered ribbons were my own choice.

Ibuki Ankoku -

his name has a deeper meaning if you wanted to look it up to see (that’s the same for all my characters actually)

he is a demon, not part of the 12 kizuki, but strong enough to become a lower rank if he wanted to. He has a small ponytail in the back of his hair if you can’t tell, and some of his hair falls down next to his neck. Ibuki uses a bda called “shattered diamond” (much deeper meaning to his bda that I will reveal soon) I have his backstory planned out, and I intend to draw part of it in the form of a comic so I hope I can get that finished in a couple of days. I’ll also write out his backstory as well along with the comic. I’ll give a little spoiler.. he was Akira’s childhood best friend, which explains his earrings that he keeps even as a demon.

Past sketches of the Kawoshin fankids I worked on(with weird background info)

I made a post a bit ago about my & @tay-likes-toons's Kawoshin kids I thought I'd show the old sketches I made before. I've already explained the characters so unless something that wasn't mentioned needs added I'm not making another description for them.

Before I go on I want to mention that these were ideas made up from before the final movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion happened. I hadn't seen the Rebuild movies(let alone anything in the series past Kaworu & Shinji's interactions & Kaworu dying in the movie) but knew some stuff. The RPs were stuff got made up/weird attempts to add what I understood with our own ideas for how the series should end since it felt like the last film was never going to happen. I've tried to cut down on a lot of rambling but all you need to know is Kaworu some how cause Shinji to be an angel like him thanks to stuff in the time loops.(Cause I get the feeling Kaworu as an angel is immortal so he'd be separated from Shinji eventually thanks to Shinji's mortality & for some reason my solution is making Shinji also immortal) The kids are also angels thanks to this.

Adam, Ibuki(who has gone threw a few name changes), Kain & Evie were originally quadruplets but at some point aside from Ibuki & Kain they were all turned into different aged siblings. For whatever reason Evie stays in a baby/toddler form(angel ability), she can go into her actual form(her real age) when she wants & at some point eventually stays in it. Ibuki's design is based on draft anime Kaworu & Kain's is based on a sketch/prototype Kaworu were he had smoothed down hair with bangs swooping to the left.

This is the first sketch I ever made of them, I forgot when I made this. Added Kaworu & Shinji cause it was meant to be a family pic. Most of them suffers from "I can't draw heights well enough so the legs are longer to make up for missing mass in the drawing". Shinji is kinda short compared to the rest of the family cause he's still learning to control his angel abilities. Also yeah Ibiki use to be named Satoshi for some reason, at one point he was named Gendo Jr cause in some RPs Gendo became a better dad that was on good terms with Shinji. I don't think Kain had a name at the time or it was changing a lot.

This was posted July 24, 2019 which I'm guessing means this was made in 2019.

Everyone is a little more closer to how they look currently, also Kain's name was spelled with a "C" back then. Evie's adult form was meant to seem mysterious since she hides it.

Anyway, let's get right down to it -- presenting "big reveal" number 62!

Nothing too fancy or deep about this pic; I was just curious to see how things looked for the four main characters in the cutesy anime Lucky Star, just before the theme song starts! 😊 If you're not familiar with it, here it is:

It took me a while to find it in English, strangely enough. 😏

Also strangely enough, the toughest part of this drawing was coloring the stage they're about to dance on. As you can see from the picture I used for reference...

The colors and shapes are a bit complex, especially with so many different overlaps, making them a bit difficult to copy (and I didn't even try to do it with 100% accuracy). I did my best to make it close, though, including the cloud shapes on the floor.

Drawing the girls was as simple as looking at them in the Lucky Star Logo (which there are two different versions of, as it turns out)...

...and some screenshots for the facial expressions of Tsukasa and Konata:

I also used Konata's fist shapes as a reference for her and Miyuki's hands. I'm very glad for the simple designs they have, which make it somewhat easier to alter their positions, expressions, etc., which is one of my favorite things to do when drawing fan art. 😊

And finally, Tsukasa's pose came from the one and only perky musician, Ibuki Mioda!

I mean, what other pose would you make when saying something like "Ngaah!"?

Unfortunately, Miyuki's hands somehow ended up a little off to the side rather than in front of her, but aside from that, I like how they all turned out! Konata, especially. She has the coolest looking hair, hands down.

So, for anyone who's ever wondered what the pre-theme song part of Lucky Star looked like, now you know! It may not be a full-on animation, but it's the closest I can get to it at the moment. 😅 (Maybe someday, though...? 🤔)

Whether you're a Lucky Star fan or not, I hope you found some enjoyment and/or charm in this gathering of an adorable group of friends! They never seem to run out of it, if you ask me. 😊

12. how would the fandom view your character?

Knowing them, they might reduce her character to a meme or her ship with Ishi. In the worst possible universe she becomes one of those ms paint drawn moe anime girls working at mcdonalds or whatever (examples come to mind...konata osaka lain etc). But realistically I wish she'd remain dr fandom exclusive. Frogeru DO NOT go mainstream, worst mistake of your life. I keep going on tangents, im sorry. The fandom would be very divided - those who defend and love her (and Ishi) with their life and those who are stupid 😆 just kidding. She's a more watered down version of Hiyoko, she's a lot nicer to those who deserve it, but she doesn't refrain from mean remarks and behaviour towards her other classmates. She would be so damn popular in the cosplay part of the community, akin to Ibuki. I'm still very proud of her design and she looks super fun to cosplay and add personal design headcanons to. And I think she'd be one of the choices for that aesthetically pleasing type of fanart that some artists who only draw like 3 dr girls (chiaki, kaede and junko/kiri) do

I actually think her and Ishi would be a pretty popular ship, definitely their most popular (since I change the story quite a bit in their universe so that Ishi doesnt befriend you-know-who). It might be one of the "basic" ships if thats a thing (like...those who get drawn by literally everyone and are generally accepted by the community; but thats not a bad thing at all😼). They have the appropriate amount of sweetness and angst (not in between them, just the context is angsty) in canon, so they;d have lots of fans, shipping AMVs/PMVs, official art and matching merch <3

15. how does your self insert play a role in the plot of the story? do they help directly defeat the villain, support the heroes, etc.?

I FORGOT ALL THE DR LORE UNRELATED TO MY FAVES SO UH... IDK... I dont think she'd contribute much to the actual plot, but she does have her own super complex side-story, accompanied by a bunch of random characters that get mentioned by name once and appear in a background frame in that damn anime (not "the animation", but like the actual anime i never watched) but still have niche tumblr ask blogs about them. of course she'd be on the side of hope, but she's got more important stuff to care about. like taka's favourite color or how to shave her brother's hair off while he sleeps

i love drawing these two!!! obviously since they don't interact in canon, everything i make is pure delusion on my part, but heyyyyyhhhyy it's not my fault capcom doesn't know how to write character interactions sometimes

i like ibuki and yang's dynamic specifically because they're romantics in different ways. ibuki jumps from one attractive guy to the next, falling in love extremely quickly and developing a whole romantic narrative about and ordinary girl who's also a ninja and some normal hot guy. meanwhile, yang hopelessly pines for one girl (hoimei) and dreams of the day she'll finally notice him and that he's been there all along. of course, real life doesn't tend to match tropes, but good luck to them!

anyways, when it comes to acting out tropes and random scenarios, they use their respective pets as the main characters. it's so cute that both have a little animal buddy following them around!! unfortunately they have to pay the price of acting out romance scenes

i like to imagine they do actually try to create situations for makoto/elena to either a) realize their feelings in the first place, b) actually act on them, and/or c) realize that the OTHER also likes them. they probably fail horribly-elena is hard to predict and makoto's stubbornness and very, very set-in japanese honor code makes it difficult for much progress to happen at all. couple that with yun and sean's spontaneous tendencies often ruining "the moment," and it becomes an endless source of frustration for ibuki and yang

misc notes:

princess tangyuan is based on the cat that follows yang around in third strike when you win enough with him-she's got a pure white coat and green eyes, and she runs away as soon as the fight starts and (i believe) comes back if yang wins. i wasn't sure what her name should be-definitely "Princess" + something, and i decided tangyuan since it's a white food and her name is similar to yang's (yang and tang). still, if you've got a better idea for a name, Imk!!

like to think she's very possessive over yang, not liking when she smells that he's pet other cats. nevertheless, she's the type of cat that preens at attention herself, and she's spoiled to death by yang who absolutely adores her and buys her little cat dresses and expensive treats. she's okay with yun, since he looks and smells like yang, but she hates jamie since he takes yang's attention away from her

if it was between saving yun or princess, yang would choose princess. “i have another brother, but there’s only one of princess.”

ibuki's hair pisses me off to draw, so i want to explore more hairstyles for her. i gave her pretty simple ones here, since this is just a doodle dump, but in the future i definitely want to

i think ibuki’s bisexual, but typically prefers dudes and hasn’t really thought about girls much. or maybe she has, i could totally see her also having the same daydreams of being an ordinary teenage girl falling in love with another ordinary teenage girl and doing cute teenage girl things like in yuri novels. she definitely reads those either way

Have not! Let's take it from the top!

Hajime: a good little boy. Aw he's holding a rose how sweet! Better be careful not to spill on that white tux (actually it's kinda cream.... meh....). Love that he has a green shirt it rly is his colour. 10/10 because he's my boy. (Outfit is like ... 6/10)

Nagito: very stylish! Oh I love the little ponytail so cute. Your bowtie is a little crooked honey get someone to fix that. 9/10 for bowtie embarrassment

Gundham: ..... it's a step down from his usual look tbh LMAO like it's nice but he always dresses so extravagant it's kind of anticlimactic! Purple and red, bleh. 6/10

Souda: ok he looks like a mad scientist but I kinda love it. Aposematic baby, look at him wearing glasses too! Character development! Wearing sneakers to a fancy party tho. Aw hes a little punk I cant be mad at it 7/10 +1 point for wearing something I'd love to wear myself

Impostor: look at this magnificent fucker. Idk about the suit on it's own I'm not a fan of navy blue but that COAT. The confidence. 8/10

Teru: I get the feeling its supposed to invoke ice cream or frosting thoughts but it just looks like he was splashed by a car. Cute hat but not cute enough. 3/10

Nekomaru: Double breasted jacket kinda giving off the General vibes he had as a despair, love the open shirt, but that's really not his colour. 5/10

Fuyuhiko: my baby boy you look like a little fucking grandpa. Are those pants from when you were 5??? Why olive. 5/10 wait I just realized this is the perfect height chart right?? Oh my god hes so small hes literally underneath Nekomaru's breast bone

Akane: AMAZING SHOWSTOPPING ETC ETC take it home Akane you win. So classy look at her. 10/10 + another 10 i wanna draw her.

Chiaki: cute! Kinda giving 13-year-old school dance tho? Mmm not much to say but it's not bad 6/10

Sonia: very glam! Love the hair decor good motion in the flow of the dress details, kind of mermaidy. Maybe a little too extravagant for my tastes. 8/10

Hiyoko: ok kinda adorable. Sweet colour scheme and nice silhouette. 7/10

Mahiru: actually really good! I thought shed be wearing something more plain but she dressed REAL nice. The accessories look great. 9/10

Mikan: ... sweetie who made you wear this. Did you wear this yourself. OH I thought the hat was like a pig face... not as bad now but still.... 3/10

ibuki: there is a LOT going on but tbh props to sticking to her brand and colours. Bi rights! 5/10 +1 for authenticity

Peko: shenlooks nice buuut.... idk I think she needs a bit more pop? The loud pattern + lack of colour is confusing my eyes. 4/10

Part 2: Goodbye Despair

Hajime: Weird weird weird. NOT his color and that design is a. questionable choice

Nagito: I really don't feel like blue is his color? Like this outfit looks kind of too Put Together Nagito has to be at least a little disheveled. Slight points back for being trans colored here though

Ultimate Imposter: Ok first before the stuff with their outfit their neck is drawn so weirdly. Like you can sort of see it here but even more in other sprites that the artists don't know how to draw fat people. Aside from that this outfit looks. Not great. I don't see why they should have to be mimicking Byakuya here. This is like Mukuro two except that unlike Junko Byakuya has bad taste

Gundham: Okayyyy but they could do more. Seeing this I think "why does he have so much less clothing weighing him down I bet he's understimulated". He needs a big jacket.

Kazuichi: I really like this one! Something about the neon colors + how the fabric folds make it look thin and cheap, which fits with his thing of not having money. Also, it's just neat aesthetically

Teruteru: I hate this guy but this is very good character design and I'm mad about it

Nekomaru: In character. His design always makes me think of Spirit Halloween somehow and this is no exception

Fuyuhiko: I'm annoyed they didn't give him a jacket. Iirc he's never been shirtless before, even in omakes where every1 else is, saying he doesn't want people to see if he has tattoos. But that absolutely helped fuel my transmasc headcanon for him so showing him here shirtless (flatchested and with no tattoos) is a tad annoying. Also this swimsuit makes him look like he's the type of rich person who plays tennis

Akane: She wore this in the actual game but it looked bad then and still does now. Her 🤝 Nagito why do they think light blue is your color it's not. Also I feel like an ultimate gymnast would be more muscular

Chiaki: Pretty and matches with her pastel aesthetic. I like it

Sonia: I really can't imagine her in all pastel pink it doesn't really feel formal or regal enough. Like this gives off little mermaid-y princess vibes as opposed to actual ruler princess vibes

Hiyoko: Baby girl. Baby. This outfit is ok and I like how her suit has a cat design like her hairclips. Main critiques here are that a) she feels underdressed and b) her bows are the same color as her suit in some sprites but not others which really bothers me.

Mahiru: I never quite understood Mahiru's design aesthetically and I'm not sure I do here either but it? Kind of works in a strange way??? Pls be careful with your camera near the water though beloved

Mikan: >:( This is the most underwear-looking swimsuit yet COME ON. We can do better I'm SURE good menhera-y swimsuits exist

Ibuki: Cute! I like it and think it works with her aesthetic <3<3<3

Peko: Eh not big on this. I feel like she'd probably prefer something more covering given how her normal outfit shows so little skin. They could've at least made the ribbons on it white to match in her hair and on her sword case

(love that in the list I'm using to order these he's not put with the other guys but instead with the girls. Top 10 Izuru genderqueer moments)

Izuru: Yeah he'd wear this and it's fine. However, I can't shake the idea of him just. Showing up to the beach in his normal suit and tie out of my head I feel like he'd do that

Usami/Monomi:

Absolutely fitting/in character, except that I don't get why Usami's outfit would be different here than in dr2 since that's already beach-y but like. Whatever I'm getting too nitpicky

Additional note: I wish Ryoko could've been here. Ik she's not as well known but if both Hajime + Izuru can be here both her + Junko should be able to be here. Let it never be said I don't pick favorites

Bored so I'm stating my thoughts on every DRS swimsuit sprite

(Part 1: THH)

Makoto: it's like. Fine lol. Kind of generic but totally fits with his "totally average high school student" thing

Taka: Accurate. Next.

Byakuya: Torn between "this looks stupid" and "it's Byakuya we're talking about here, of course he'd wear something stupid and think it would make him look more refined ". Like this looks bad but it's absolutely in character

Mondo: Eh. Feels almost kinda young for him but I don't really have any better ideas and it does fit his color scheme well

Leon: Vibe feels vaguely off™ somehow but I couldn't tell you how. I'll take it ig

Hifumi: Fitting. No actual complaints here to speak of

Hiro: I guess I get what they were going for but this is too patterned and also not his color scheme at all. Maybe I'm just saying this bc I think orange and green basically never match but yeah

Chihiro: BEAUTIFUL AMAZING SHOWSTOPPING PERFECT. My favorite outfit so far. Dr may have utterly failed in basically every aspect of Chihiro's writing but they did not fail with this outfit she looks amazing

Sayaka: This looks dumb sorry. Idk what they were going for but like. Why. The top and bottom of her suit don't even match? (Admittedly her hair being draped over her shoulders weirdly like that is just for this sprite not all of them but still)

Kyoko. Like. Technically it's better than Sayaka's aesthetically in that at least it matches with itself and her hair ties (in most of the sprites at least. For some reason they're discolored in this only fullbody one.). Still. The thing about me is that I have trouble imagining Kyoko wearing literally any feminine clothing ever so I see this and my mind just goes "OOC" even though she literally also dresses fem in canon

Hina: Worst one yet. She's literally ultimate swimmer why would she wear this it's impractical and dumb. Also the color scheme is soo different from the normal desaturated red+white+blue she normally wears. The bandaid is an ok touch but that's the only good thing about this design

(I'm sorry Toko's expression is like that; this is the only close-to-fullbody DRS sprite on the wiki)

Toko and Syo (kind of the same outfit so I'll judge it together): I really like this one! Toko having a skirt thing so no one can see her tallymarks but Syo taking it off is a good touch. I wouldn't have thought of blue as her color but it actually really works (and reminds me of Komaru's uniform...)

Sakura: Cute! Tbh a bit more frilly/cutesy than I would have expected but she looks nice :)

Celeste: SECOND FAVE AFTER CHIHIRO I <3 IT. Generally Celeste's aesthetic fucks so hard (only tiiiiny criticism I have is that the lace on her suit would look nicer if it was matching in size with that on her headdress)

Junko: Why so plain??? Like it really doesn't seem to fit with the gyaru aesthetic at all (admittedly I don't know much about said fashion subculture though so I def could be wrong it just looks very different to my eye). Like I feel like this is what Hina should have worn it looks like smth actual swimmers would wear in a race

Mukuro: REAL LIXED FEELINGS HERE. On the one hand, this is very fitting for someone pretending to be the ultimate fashionista; you've perfectly captured that vibe. On the other hand, why should she have to pretend to be Junko in this context whyyy. (So like generally this aesthetic is good but the "Mukuro is butch" part of my brain is NOT a fan she shouldn't have to wear that)

Monokuma: Sure lol. this is fine
