My main goal with the swaps is that they should be a dramatic difference! Like Jade in Citrinne's finery or Vander wearing something revealing. Engage is just one of those games where the boys are mostly fully covered while the girls are more exposed, so it's very easy to do a boy < girl < boy < girl swap. But also yes. Abs. Nice.

i feel like the makeup standards are not necessarily going to get Worse, just. stay the Same. "raised by sephora and ulta" christ alive yall act like this shit is new. as if this hasnt been the standard to blast young girls with makeup ads and shit via magazine and tv and imposed beauty standards anyway. the only real difference is like, idk, accessibility of tutorials for how to apply it well

Coincidentally my usable warp is like exactly as long as my dining room. Point is tho, i am finally done thank fuck

#jic ur wondering why all of them are drawn w that same arms out legs semi open pose #do i obsessively worry about this to an unhealthy degree? yeah #do people not verbally tell me that seeing me draw the same pose over and over again is Boring or Lame or stupid or smth? yes but i get #like. stupidly anxious and start thinking about things like that which i obviously know probably isn't the case and that in actuality #no one cares about how i draw more than i do #but it's still difficult not to ruminate on thoughts of people subconsciously rolling their eyes at my art because its so plain and boring #and static and stiff and it doesnt feel lively and dynamic like the artists i aspire to be like #but then i also remember im only just starting my art journey. by this year I'll only have been drawing for 4 years. 4 YEARS.#which seems like alot honestly? especially w the progress I've made #but most; if not everyone who isn't me have spent 7+ YEARS of drawing and i remind myself that. oh #yeah! im on the same path they were #maybe they had the same issues i did #but ill get through it :) i want to experiment more this year w my art #i say that but i need to COMMIT #i need to commit. to actually put in effort to learn posing and perspective instead of trying to lazily scrawl color on a digital canvas #but it all seems so daunting #but; you know; in time it'll come. seeing the difference only a few months has done to my art is also truly refreshing #it lets me know that im still learning and improving my technique and that really helps iron out any anxieties i have.#sorry this got super rambly super quickly lol

#its kinda funny how the ears went from originally being shorter to getting super long and then short again #and i got rid of the long ears literally just bc i didnt like drawing them #but the thing is that the core features of fursognas design since day 1 has been #1: features that i enjoy and 2: features that are easy for me to draw #thats why its a solid neutral color why its got feline nose long snout fluffy areas long tail . things i like + are easier for me to draw #and the long ears while fun . not easy to draw.#and the inverted eyes i dont actually know. i do not remember at all why i did that. i still like it and its vaguely evolved over time but #is still basically the same. its just fun i guess. adds some intrigue to whats a very ''boring'' design otherwise i guess lawl #plus idek what color its eyes would be if they were normal. thinking of it with normal eyes just feels wrong now lawl #my art #no id
