the most devastating shit on earth is that i had a friend in middle school who was like my ride or die. but her only "social media" was Google Fucking Plus. so naturally i have lost her in the wastelands of that shitstorm. but i cannot find her ever again bc she has like The most common name on god's green earth so one facebook search for people with her name in the bronx yields like a million fucking results. so imagine if she's not even in the bronx anymore. 10 million results

#i just finished watching the atla live action#as an avatar fan#I thought it was a wonderful adaptation!#the original is still the best#but this live action was still great#(esp when compared to that... OTHER live action)#i only had two real complaints#1. i didn't like how Bumi's intro was handled#it would've been way better if they stuck to revealing him as Aang's friend AFTER the fight tbh#like they did in the original#they didn't take advantage of the foreshadowing#instead he was just kinda like βyep i'm your childhood friend Bumi btw you're an assholeβ right off the bat#2. it was too short π#c'mon i binged that shit in two days#even though they were ~1hr long#8 episodes wasn't enough#bonus mini complaint: I needed more Momo and Appa#but all in all#i was very impressed with how much ground they were still able to cover in such a condensed format#the casting was A+++#the references were done very tastefully#the things they did change didn't detract from the show at all#and in some ways added to it#it made me just as emotional as the original#anyways... eagerly waiting for season 2#(it's happening... right??)#def excited to see my girl Toph#tragic clowning#avatar the last airbender#atla live action

I guess Zee could count as Calebβs friend. But Zee likes everyone so Caleb technically doesnβt make any friends throughout the season except for Priya.
Caleb really spend too many time with Priya. Every time we see him on the start of the episodes, he is just there doing exercises by himself. He is the definition of loner.
aha yeah, zee is friends with just about everyone (that's why they call him zee! they're all his peeps! :D) but even still, outside of the drama, caleb basically no friends at all. i do wonder if we get a third season, would they ever explore that? i think it's something a lot of watchers could relate to: a studious character who's usually caught up with work, and when not, mostly a loner. and with the personality we got of him, the writers could make him friends with a lot of the cast if they wanted to

i got into blue lock nearly a year ago now... damn...
#legitimately have not been in a fandom for this long that is media-related#sure my mcyt phase lasted a year and a half but i dont count that#i wonder how much longer ill be here for...#im thinking im in it for the long run. til s2 and eventually s3#and with new manga chapters coming out too#bitch im not leaving until i see how this shit ends like π#bllk#oh and for the record i mean this as in actually being *in* the fandom#like i dont count smth like beyburst for example bc for the longest time i wasn't in the fandom and i kinda have an on and off relationship#with it#which is usually how it goes. i get obsessed for a few months - then move onto the next thing#so its weird just being consistently obsessed w smth#(once again excluding my mcyt phase we dont talk bout that)
