"Shu-chan, Shu-chan, Merry Christmas!" Of course, with all the orders they had gotten, Amai had quite a few ideas on what they could get Shuichi, and all the sweets along with some gifts were happily brought to the detective's dorm by the excited confectioner.

The treats were fairly well made with the Bûche De Noël, or Yule Log, cake decorated with cranberries, meringue mushrooms, and powdered sugar, the macarons coming in quite a variety with the milk chocolate and vanilla cream bears, gingerbread, and carefully decorated vanilla. Along with it, though, they got him some vanilla bean flavored gourmet coffee and a copy of The Confessions of Arsene Lupin.

"Hehe, Amai hopes that you like all of it. Amai wanted to make the holidays super super special for you, Shu-chan, soooo Amai made sure you'd have plenty to enjoy!"

The moment Amai arrived at the detective's door, Shuichi's expression immediately brightens. "Amai-kun...! Nice to see you! And Merry Christmas to you as well, thank you! Please, come on in." He gestures Amai towards the coffee table in the center of the room. It looked like Amai had some things for him, which he was excited to see.

At the sight of the Yule Log cake, his eyes widen in amazement! "O-Oh wow!! This looks amazing...!" His eyes scan all the different details of the cake, wowed by just how detailed and skillfully crafted it was. He can only imagine the time and effort that was put into this: all for him... He loves it. "Amai-kun, you've done outdone yourself as always: I just know it will taste as great as it looks!"

The cake was already an amazing enough gift to him, and then Amai also got him vanilla bean coffee and a book. He is ecstatic! "This coffee looks so good, too... oh, I just have to brew this and have it with the cake! And I know you got these for me, but I would be happy to enjoy some of this cake and coffee with you, too. And then I'll enjoy some more later tonight with this book! I've always been wanting to read this one.. hehe, you know me so well, Amai-kun. Thank you so much for such wonderful gifts! I love it all."

Going closer to Amai, he pulls them into a big hug, smiling all the more brighter with a soft blush on his face. Honestly, part of his reason for wanting them to have some coffee and cake with him, so that the could spend a bit more time with them.. after all, they made his already nice Christmas, even better! He wants to spend it with them as long as possible!

Kokichi was laughing—loud, mildly obnoxious, but wholly genuine—as they hurried through the door out of the rain. They were soaked, Kokichi hopping on one foot as he pulled off his boot and wet sock. He was repeating the process with the opposite side as he said, "It's not my fault you didn't check the weather. I knew it was going to rain!" Was it a lie? A planned prank? He would never admit it.

His sweater was pulled overhead and dropped carelessly with a splat. Only remaining in his jeans, he padded over to Shuichi, pushing the coat off of his shoulders before leaning up to capture his lips in a kiss. When he leaned back, taking an appraisal of Shuichi's appearance, he snickered.

"You look ridiculous," he teased as though he wasn't standing there half-dressed, his own hair stuck to his forehead "I'll go get you a towel if you promise you'll make us something to drink that'll warm us up afterward." ( kdksfhja there are High Chances that kokichi knew there was a risk of sudden showers that day and just kept it to himself )

"Ahhh, the one time we don’t bring our umbrellas, it rains! And of course doing so before we make it inside the house...!” Yet Shuichi was laughing right along with Kokichi as he says that, holding onto his hand tight as he runs through the rain with him.

 The kind of scenario that would normally distress him, but when it’s with Kokichi, he finds himself not minding at all, laughing it off with him like this. The moment they made it inside, Shuichi instantly closes and locks the door, panting as he also begins kicking off his boots and socks first. “A-Ahaha, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I was so excited for our date today that I forgot to check! Wait, you did!? Then it is your fault, don’t pin it on me, mister!” He playfully drills a finger into his cheek as he laughs some more. He had to wonder if Kokichi actually did know it would or not, but he wouldn’t be too surprised if he did. But that was okay: speeding through the rain with him, made for a very fun closing to their little outing today.

Seeing Kokichi strip down to just his jeans made a light pink dust his cheeks, and lets him push his coat off his shoulders. He utters a soft hum into the kiss, instantly returning it right away before he gives a fond roll of the eyes at his little comment. “Says you.” He smirks, using his fingers to brush some of Kokichi’s wet bangs out of his face, before pecking his forehead and then cupping both of his hands in his own. Oh he’s sure he did, his own bangs drooping over his eyes and soaked to the bone. He was definitely going to make sure they get out of their wet clothes as quickly as possible. His smile brightens at the proposal, nodding in favor of it. “Sure thing! Ohhh, how does caramel hot chocolate sound? I bet that’ll warm up right up! And thank you in advanced for the towel! I still can’t believe we got so soaked like this. But running through the rain, laughing with you... was really fun....!”

Good evening students of Hogwarts! I hope you all are having an amazing week or if not I hope this information makes your week even better! 

Ahem as been sent to me by Lia, the activities for the week of February 14th (Valentine's for you suckers) has been officially decided upon. 

The activities of choice shall be:

A kissing booth: Everyone step right up to kiss a stranger for funsies I guess? We do need volunteers for this!

A jail booth: Write down names and lock them up together. You already know this is my favorite! The chaos that will commence will be *chefs kiss*. Submit the names you'd like to see locked up to @lialovergirl.

Cupid Telegrams: Hire a Cupid to perform a small song, relay a message to your beloved, recite poetry, or dance an embarrassing dance in front of everyone just for her or him! 

Band performance: Hire an og Hogwarts band to follow your crush or significant other around for the hour or the whole day (depending on how much you pay), just to show you wuvvvv them so much. The serenading will never stop. 

A stand that sells flowers, heart balloons, cards and chocolates will be set up outside the great hall. So purchase them and send them to your lovers if you wish.

Mary is also selling baked goodies this week! Go send my favorite baker some love (and some galleons) and give your lovers the best gift, Mary's cookies! 

And last but certainly not least: 

THE VALENTINE'S DAY MASQUERADE BALL!

The ball will commence on Saturday, February 14th at eight o’clock. Please arrive on time because the doors shut at eight thirty and there will be no sneaking in (looking at you first years). 

Please dress up in your best gowns and don't forget the fun part is hiding your identity ;).
