Price is the one to find you hours later, curled up against Maggie on the couch and he sinks down next to you. “What’s wrong pretty? You know I get worried when you shut us out.” He frowns, rubbing your arm until you lift your head to meet his eye, and his gaze softens.

“I just.. I don’t know.. I woke up upset and it’s just gotten worse through out the day. I thought it would get better but it didn’t and-“ you cut yourself off, taking a deep breath and Maggie presses snout into your belly, whining softly as she looks up at you.

“Take your time love.” Price murmurs, pulling you to his side and he feels your shoulders shaking. “I just didn’t want to be angry with you all for no reason, you don’t deserve that.”

“You think we’re not use to some misplaced anger?” He laughs, but he sees the way your face falls and he gently tilts your chin up so you’ll look at him. “We are here for you. You’ve been there for us since we got here pretty, we are more than happy to take care of you for awhile.” He caresses your cheek, pressing a kiss to your head before arranging the three of you to where you’re laying on top of him and maggie is tucked into his side, there is not nearly enough room for the three of you, but hearing you laugh when Maggie barks, leaving wet kisses on Price’s cheek to which he cringe’s, turning his head away.

“Damn it Mags! Stop!”

“She’s just saying thank you.”

well, it has been a hot minute since i've been around. first thing first, i am super sorry about disappearing off the face of the planet with no warning of any kind.

second, i wanted to thank everyone who sent me a message checking in on me. i logged in today to an overwhelming amount of love and that really meant so much to me. y'all are literally the sweetest people ever. it would take me a full 24hrs to reply to them all so i'll spare y'all the flood of me being sappy, but the summary is I LOVE YOU (yes, i am talking to you, you beautiful soul and precious person). just know that if you sent me a message i read it more than once and it made me happy cry.

third, let's go over my excuses. i won't bore y'all with the details but life got tough. many of you know i was job searching, and the sort of good news is i got a job! and it's technically a great job. medicine has just burned me out to a degree where i looked forward to nothing. so then i felt disgustingly disrespectful and ungrateful for the opportunities i have. my brain was a vicious cycle for a bit there.

fourth, and the final portion of this rambling i promise, the topic of writing. this entire time i've been able to work on my original work which has been super rewarding. i think i'll be able to get some copies out to beta readers soon and hopefully get some ARCs ready for the summer. but in terms of what's going on here, i haven't had time to work on a lot but before i went MIA i was like 90% done with the next chapter of 'Take Care of You' so i'm hopeful to get that out at the very least. the good news is not only is that chapter decent in length but it also gives y'all all the answers you've been waiting oh so patiently for (: anyways, from here on out i'll try to be better about answering asks and i'll work on some stuff for y'all promise💜

Our newest resident! Moved in last week after Pietro left. He's still getting to know everyone, but so far is getting along super well with Bob - he and Zucker often have game nights and Genji loves it (Elvis is too old to stay up so late, and Marshall prefers to go drink with the girlies).

Genji is a total gym rat but not obnoxious at all - he's just super active. He and Fuchsia will work out together sometimes 🏋️

im sure im not the first in your inbox to say it, but the past week made me delete my old blog and decide to only ever write on ao3.

the situation has left me more than a bit repulsed. at first i defended myka, but as her lies came apart it left me feeling disgusted and ashamed that i was so gullible.

it sucks, i did really enjoy writing on tumblr. but the near constant discourse over dark fics and now this, it just feels like more trouble than its worth. i dont want to worry my writing will land me in a shit talking discord.

my blog wasnt big and didnt get a whole lot of interaction, so it wasnt a massive loss, but im sure it was one of many.

hopefully you get to wash your hands of this and move on. im sure it wasn’t fun to get so deep in this shit. i wish you nothing but the best :)

tumblr is so nice for drabbles and shitposts and easily bouncing off of others, we can find our people so quickly. just because you think your blog was small doesn’t mean it was to us- i see someone in my notes twice and i could kiss them, and i’ve heard a lot of our “big” bloggers feel that way too.

i’m devastated by the number of anons saying they’ve deleted their blogs because of the bullshit. but I’m hopeful that things will get better from here on out, and maybe some of you will even return

and thank you 💖 i was honestly expecting to get a LOT of pushback but the amount of love that people have shown is just mind blowing (although it shouldn’t be! the power of friendship prevails!!)
