I'm not sure if you've mentioned this before but I am losing my mind about how after you max out friendship with Lighter his contact on your phone has "I hope time heals all wounds" as one of its info dot points on him. I'm heartbroken. Inconsolable. Someone comfort this guy. 😭

YES !! when i first saw it i literally had to not end it all. i’ve mentioned before how lighter isn’t actually handling his past as well as he/we like to believe. during the tour de inferno, i had initially thought that he was able to move on from it, especially with how he told bellum that these biker gangs don’t care about your past. but i was so wrong.

time does heal physical wounds. his scars, his bruises, broken bones. whether he’s willingly or not, he still keeps himself close to his past decisions. still trying to help his friend’s younger sister, still blames himself for his ‘mistakes’, still contemplates about his path in life. it’s more like he isn’t letting these heal properly, opening up these bandages himself and then putting them back on.

i don’t want him to forget though, i don’t think he could anyways. i can only hope that somehow he understands to move forward from what he believes were mistakes. just sitting down next to him, a quiet spot in lumina square, not much spoken between you two but that’s what he needs. just having someone by his side, like he used to have back then.

can we talk about how theo's probably developed an eating disorder as a result of being homeless and having no food security nor money, and when he does eat, he never knows the next time he'll be able to. and then can we also talk about how this would impact not only his mental health, but his physical well-being, and he wouldn't be able to fight or defend himself as well as his environment demands. his concern about being attacked at night in his truck with little strength makes it hard to sleep, on top of the nightmares. and when he fights alongside liam or the others, he has to overexert himself to not give away the fact that he's homeless, making him even more tired and more weak with every passing day.

idk if this is a popular headcanon or not but i feel like when dallas’ mom went out of the picture (either died or left their family bc she was never mentioned so i’m just speculating) that’s when dallas started to spend those three years on the “wild side of new york.” because we obviously know dally does not have a good relationship with his dad, so he probably found a gang on that side of nyc that was super into gang fights, stealing, slashing peoples tires etc etc, everything that he is known for in tulsa. dallas found it to be a coping mechanism while grieving his mother’s absence from his life and having to deal with his abusive dad. and ofc his dad didn’t care what he did bc he doesn’t care about him at all. dal just wanted to be loved and when the only person he loved died that was it for him ughhhh :((

Handplates is one of the most well written, most heart wrenching and tearjerker comic I’ve ever read in this community. Sans’s depression, faith in his brother and overall character is so great and well captured. I cried at the ending. God. If you haven’t read handplates I recommend you do. It’s a 10/10 read.
