I cant believe people are STILLLL worrying about Tarlos going for couples counseling!

ITS NOT A BAD THING!!

It’s a healthy move.

We all know how obsessed Carlos gets when it comes to cases & especially his father’s (4x03 and 4x18 anyone?). He’s human & he wants answers. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t love TK anymore.

He does love him. He wants to be there for TK, with TK.

He clearly doesn’t like to call TK and say “Hey I’m going to be late tonight. Dont wait up for me” but he also doesn’t want to leave investigating about his father’s case cause that feels like betraying his father and his family. Looks like he joined the rangers for that too.

And TK knows ALL of this. In 4x18, when Carlos told Tk about going to Detective Washington with the case, TK knew he’s lying. TK knows what addiction & obsession can do to a person. He knows his husband.

And he wants to help Carlos. And couples therapy is such a healthy way to go about it.

I’m not blaming either parties. I think it’s how real life is and it’s great that LS is showing it through Tarlos.

And I cannot wait to see how it goes.

It’s typical Carlos way to so stubbornly believe that everything is okay when it isn’t. He doesn’t want to admit because then he feels like he failed his marriage.

And looks like TK’s attempts at talking about how Carlos is obsessed with his father’s case and how he feels they are drifting apart have been futile hence the couples counseling!

I mean Healthy couples sometimes go to couples therapy too!

The fact that Carlos attended itself is enough to know they are fine.

TK “thinks” they’re drifting apart. This is precaution.

And couples therapy is such a healthy way to go about it.

I actually can’t wait to see how they navigate this storyline. Maybe in a mature way or maybe the way LS usually handle it. Either way I’ll be here enjoying it. ❤️
