Update on This Blog (I'm back!)

Hi everyone! It's Pinky, the moderator. It's been a while since you've heard from me and I sincerely apologize for a lack of posts here/replying to your fanfic requests. I went through an insanely painful writer's block and I had zero motivation to make fanfics. But recently after seeing people start requesting fics again, I've decided to resume progress again on this blog! It might take me a few weeks to restart completely, since I have some projects I need to complete. But after I get back into things, I will definitely start answering requests at a quicker pace.

Thanks to everyone who's been continuing to support my writing these months where I've been radio silent. I'm hoping to continue to entertain people and to keep this fandom alive and chugging for as long as I possible can. Writer's block is painful and not being able to express your ideas is even worse. I hope that the people who have been waiting for their request for months understand that I've been going through some things but that their requests will probably be the first I answer. Thank you everyone for sticking with me and stay tuned for more updates in the next few weeks. In the meantime, if you have a fic request, feel free to submit it! It will take longer but just know that I've seen it and I will get to you eventually! And wow I didn't expect how many people really loved my work, especially with the gay mice!

summary: pure vanilla notices you haven't been acting like yourself lately. how does he help you feel better?

warnings: physical touch, pure vanilla is kind of a worry wart, also im not super proud of the writing on this one so im sorry if it's not as good as my other stuff :((

a/n: is it bad that when i went to the store today and saw pure vanilla extract on the shelf i thought of pure vanilla cookie

Pure Vanilla Cookie has noticed the lack of letters you've been sending him recently.

Of course, he knows that ruling a kingdom is no simple ordeal, and, of course, there's no way you would be able to send him a letter every day. However, despite that, you've always made sure to send him letters frequently and inform him of every nifty little thing going on in your life.

That is, up until roughly three and a half weeks ago.

You used to send him letters every four or five days to keep him updated on everything going on in your kingdom, and he always wrote back when he received your letters. However, when he responded to a letter you sent about three and a half weeks ago, you hadn't written anything back to him.

He found this behavior very strange, as you were always enthusiastic about being able to talk with him whenever you got the chance. Pure Vanilla Cookie was, frankly, getting rather worried about you and how you were doing. So, he decided to take a trip over to your kingdom to see for himself what was wrong.

When he finally arrived, Pure Vanilla Cookie was quick to stride towards your castle, making haste towards your office, where you spent most of your time. Gently knocking on the door, he quietly entered the room, as to not disturb you too much. He immediately notices your eyebags, the empty coffee mugs littered around your desk, and the way you don't even glance at him when he enters the room, thinking it was just some servant needing to ask a quick question or something of the like. Needless to say, when he spoke up, you immediately turned and stared at him in surprise.

"My Dear, has everything been okay lately?" He gently asks. "Ah! Pure Vanilla Cookie? What are you doing here?" You respond, shocked. You had no idea he was coming, you had no time to prepare, you didn't want him to see you like this.

"Are you alright?" He slowly walks toward you before draping his cloak over your shoulders, "You haven't responded to my letter for weeks, and you look awfully tired. How long have you been sitting here working today?" He looks at you with worry swirling in his eyes.

As you sit there failing to answer his question, he gently places a hand on your head and caresses your hair, sighing, "You need to remember to take care of yourself, you know. You can hardly handle this much work in the state that you're in. Why don't you rest for a bit?"

You look at him with tired eyes, attempting to provide a counter-argument, "I know, I know, but-" "No buts. You're going to go lay in bed and read a nice book to help you de-stress. I'll also fetch you some tea. Then, perhaps you can take a nap. You'll feel a lot better when you wake up," He suddenly picked you up, carrying you back to your bedroom before you can even say anything. Perhaps he was right though, as you were indeed doing a lot better the next morning. Perhaps self-care really is important after all.

-Finally finished the true official designs (full colored edition) for Expo. The only ones im missing right now are Miku and the Creator, but eh. (Descriptions for design under each image)-

Moon. His design was mainly based off of the thumbnail design for Laes with his "thumbnail sweater". If you had noticed, Moon, Sun, and Solar only have one eye. This is because they ended up getting very expensive updated bodies (because Fazbear loves being in debt), which the crescent side of their faces is actually like a tv screen. The other side of their face is actually a smooth piece of plastic casing. The hat Moon wears is actually a hat Lunar had gotten custom made to wear during the October takeover, and later, Monty made Lunar's design to have a cyan variant of it. So Moon's hat is actually the original.

Lunar. His design is more or less identical to canon, from hat (the neck ruffles are the same color as his hat instead of white), to weird pointy shoes (which again, are colored differently) he is missing his eye and arm, still playing on the Creator's weakness of drawing two identical eyes.

(I forgot to color Earth's eye, lol) Fazbear did try to update her like the others, but they just ended up messing up her right eye, hence why her bangs cover it. Speaking of hair, Earth now has shorter hair and a lavender bow instead of the rainbow headband. She's now almost entirely in her green/blue skirt.

Gemini/Pollux/Castor. Starting off with the twins, Pollux and Castor have an interesting new style. Their clothing now fits the whole opposite of the other. Castor now has a tail with the Gemini symbol on it, while Pollux has the symbol in her eye. Both have a stocking like pattern on their legs as well as a fingerless glove style on their hands.

Gemini. Gemini is similar to canon, with their fair share of differences. Their pants don't fade into blue anymore, their hands and feet have the same design as Expo Pollux and Castor, and their poncho-like hood id also dark blue and purple with golden accents. (their face isn't colored for the reason of my markers do not like to blend well)

Sun. This is probably my favorite design of them all. He has a faded blue hat (originally Nexus's as Moon) the Earth helped him to patch up (the patches correspond with his family). Sun also is wearing the cat sweater (from Nexus) and tennis shoes just like Moon and Solar. He also has that whole screen thing, just like Moon.

Solar. He is really a dull orange color (my markers were way too bright) that now wears a soft pastel shirt, not reminiscent of the Daycare (based off of an official fnaf shirt i have) and plain red pants with patches. He wears boots/tennis shoes that are "Eclipse themed" and has the same crescent screen like Sun and Moon.

(Oh yeah, and he's missing a ring finger because Jack bit it off at one point, as well as part of his pinkie on the gloved hand)

-One more thing. This will be my last post because of the fandom in general about several characters and won't continue until either the fandom calms down (which i doubt will happen), or until i decide i want to continue. It's mainly because i want to work on a semi-large project for Kat (whether or not they'll see it) and i want to spend time on it so not only does it look nice, but it has every possible thing i want to add to it. I likely will post some drafts that i get done when i have time, but no promises. Im also turning off asks until i get my drafts cleared out again ;v;-

misdial: working on the jaemin x reader prequel before getting into chapter 6 of misdial in earnest! so, techinically i’m still 'working on misdial', but not exactly a story continuation just yet... apologies for all my jeno luvrs, your time will come soon!

the lake house (njm misdial prequel, possible retitle coming): wordcount is at 27k currently (I KNOW! I KNOW! I’M SORRY!) and i’ve got about 5-7k left (...optimistically... it will probably could be more...) i must’ve written like 5k for this in the last three days alone because i’m very excited about it, so here’s to hoping the energy sticks up. i’m planning for this to be the next thing i upload!

the next day, as promised, bakugo brought kirishima along on his daily coffee endeavor. you grin. bakugo was already bickering with kirishima as the two notably big men entered.

“like hell i’m paying for your coffee!” bakugo barked.

“i’m just kidding, man, no worries.” kirishima laughed.

“welcome, you guys!” you smile. kirishima turns to you and grins.

“hey, (y/n)! long time no see!” kirishima greeted as he approached the register.

“definitely long time.” you agree.

“not since the party, right?” kirishima asks as he looks over the menu behind you. you nod. “can i just get a mocha? a medium.”

“sounds good.” you hum as you ring him up. bakugo pushed past kirishima as he gets his card out.

“add mine to it, i’ll cover the damn thing.” he grunted.

“so generous.” you tease. “would you like to pay for the next customer, too?”

“hell no. we’re the only ones in here, anyway, ‘cept for that old hag.”

“mrs. hatsugawa.” you correct. “not an old hag.”

“yeah, whatever.” bakugo scowled as he swiped his card.

“you didn’t have to.” kirishima chuckled as you turned to make kirishima’s drink.

“no shit i didn’t have to!” bakugo snapped, sitting down in his seat. kirishima followed suit. “now shut up and get your damn coffee!”

“he can’t, it’s not ready.” you call with a grin.

“don’t be smart.” bakugo scowled.

“as you wish.” you tease, setting kirishima’s drink down in front of him before making bakugo’s.

“thank you.” kirishima said. “so, how’ve you been?”

“i’ve been pretty good.” you hum, watching the mug fill up with coffee and stopping at just the right capacity. “how’s the renovations for your agency going?”

“we’re a little behind,” kirishima admitted. “but it’s alright, i’m sure we’ll be back on track soon. they’re working really hard over there.” bakugo rolled his eyes at kirishima’s optimism, but was surprisingly quiet.

“i bet you will.” you smile. “when do you think it’ll be done?”

“we’re hoping by spring, but we think it’ll probably be closer to that summer since winter will slow us down.” kirishima answered.

“let me know when it is, i’d love to see it.” you lean against the counter.

“definitely. do you have my number?” kirishima pulled his phone out.

“no, i don’t think so.” you shake your head.

“i didn’t give it to you at the party?” kirishima seemed surprised. you shake your head.

“me ‘n’ pinky have hers, that’s it.” bakugo grunted.

“well, i’ll just add you to the group chat so you can have everyone’s.” kirishima decided. “what’s your number?” you relay the digits to him, and he successfully adds you to a chat titled the bakusquad, adorned with several emojis. the members of the chat immediately noticed as you added kirishima as a contact.

mina: OMG HI (Y/N)??

unknown: WHATT (Y/N) IS ON IT NOW

me: i know mina kirishima and bakugo but who are the other people??

unknown: im kaminari

kaminari: sero and kyoka are on here too

“thank you,” you smiled, putting your phone back in your apron— you were still working, after all.

“yeah, no problem. i usually send updates to this chat, so you’ll be able to see them too.” kirishima smiled back, setting his phone face down on the counter. “what about you? any fun projects?”

“i’m afraid not.” you shake your head. “my life’s pretty boring compared to your guys’.”

“i bet it’s not boring.” kirishima counters. “i mean, you’re pretty interesting, right? so there’s gotta be an interesting life being lived there.”

“that’s a really sweet way to put it.” you laugh, your cheeks turning pink at the compliment. “thank you, kirishima.”

“call me eijiro.” kirishima waved dismissively. “everyone else does.”

“first name basis already? wow, i’m flattered.” you blink, surprised. “thank you.”

“most of the group— the bakusquad— are on a first name basis.” eijiro replied. “except bakugo. we either call him bakugo or kacchan.” bakugo scowled.

“you’d think you’d be done with that damned nickname.” bakugo huffed.

“it’s the thought that counts, i guess.” you giggle.

“at least call me katsuki. kacchan’s fuckin’ stupid.” bakugo grumbled, looking away.

“okay, katsuki.” you agree, your cheeks turning pink again. katsuki. katsuki.

it sounds so pretty, you think. i get to call him katsuki.

“what? something wrong with it?” katsuki glared, snapping you out of your thoughts. “you better not be fuckin’ laughing.”

“no, no i like it.” you smile. “besides, it’s more original than shitty hair or dumbass.”

“fuck off!” katsuki snapped. “i’ll call you people any damn thing i want!”

“i never said you couldn’t.” you laugh. “just that you’re unoriginal, mr. dynamight.”

“shut up!” katsuki barked. “my hero name’s none of your damn business! it’s mine, so i get to decide whether it’s original or not!”

“yes, sir,” you salute playfully. “hey, kiri— i mean, eijiro. what’s your hero name again?”

“red riot!” eijiro grinned.

“after crimson riot?” you perk up. you’d been a fan of the old-school hero as a child.

“yeah, you know him?” eijiro’s expression lit up.

“yes! i watch him a lot as a kid.” you reply excitedly. “unfortunately, i don’t really keep up with heroes anymore.”

“or anything. you don’t even watch the news.” katsuki rolled his eyes, sipping his coffee.

“it’s all negative stuff on there.” you frown. “i don’t need any of it.” you notice the slight change in eijiro’s expression- sympathetic, recognizing that it’s the truth. you decide to change the subject.

“but, hey! i’ve got a bunch of pro hero friends to keep me updated if i really need it, right?” you smile. eijiro’s expression becomes more positive again.

“right!” he agrees as bakugo huffs.

“yeah, whatever.”

“okay, katsuki.”

I haven't been involved with bfp and only vaguely know a few things of what happened but I've really appreciated your work even though I never joined as a volunteer. I'm very sorry to see you close, though I understand and support the need to. Will there be any more details on what happens to BFP? Will your blog still exist? Is the organization stopping all activities but keeping up the library? (sorry for all the questions, I hope they dont come across in a hostile way)

all activities, including updating the library, will cease this sunday, february 4, 2024.

this blog will stay up although i doubt it’ll be nearly as active considering i’m the only person running it. i’ve also left the metalheadsforblacklivesmatter blog due to emotional laborious and racialized discussions months ago with the adult that runs it, so im not sure how far our posts will reach anyways now. i’ll be sure to support yalls mutual aid posts though, pinky promise. and i’ll still be active on my personal blog @reaux07 and especially on my instagram reaux07 to disseminate political education content. (considering tiktok, as encouraged by my peers, but im nervous about filming!)

the library will still definitely be available but all the renovations we were doing will essentially be frozen in time, which i apologize for. it’s just too difficult to keep up with only a few actually committed hands, you know? that “over 3,000 free resources” advertised was never an exaggeration, i really did go through and count them all up. and that was the number from 2022! it’s just too much :(

since all activities will cease tomorrow, all of our youth are officially released from their volunteer duties. those of us who are close have already begun a new project to heal, continue to learn, and stay close though :) those outside of that circle, who have made it difficult to be our authentic selves, will walk a separate path, and i wish them the best.

it’s been fifteen years since I met Jake and made friend in him, since then much has changed.

Jake got lost in the forest after his FIRST expedition with Grace, in his avatar form. Met Neytiri, Tsu’tey and the Omatikaya. They somehow accepted Jake to train him but Neytiri had to do it, much to her annoyance. Then during those three months Jake developed feelings for Neytitri (which broke my heart a little but I’ll never tell him that). Jake then mated with Neytiri after graduation of becoming one of the people, which was a wild ride. There was a huge war that came with a lot of losses. Jake and Quaritch had a huge throwdown with Neytitri in the mix, we won. Then Jake banished about 80 percent of the RDA back to Earth and then became the Olo’eyktan of the Omatikaya. Turns out Quaritch had a kid with Soccoro. Then Neytiri announced she was pregnant and then she and Jake proceeded to have three more kids, one being Grace’s daughter, and life continued to be peaceful.

I was happy where I was. I became the unofficial aunty/godmother to the Sully kids and I was able to continue my research, with permission from Jake and Mo’at, in Xenobiology in honour of Grace’s work.

Life was good, peaceful and happy.

Until the RDA came back six months ago.

“You two disobeyed my direct orders!”

I popped my head out my kelku as soon as I heard Jake’s voice.

The Sully family was gathered near the entrance of the mountain cave and as per usual Jake was yelling at his sons.

I walked over to them with my holopad to update Jake some more news from Bridgehead. As I was approaching Neytitri saw me and gave a nod, I waved my free hand to her smiling.

“Aunty!” I turned my head to the noise, it was Tuk waving her hands in the air cutely “aunty, can you tell dad to stop yelling at my brothers so grandma and Kiri can treat them!”

I chuckled going along with her wishes “Yeah Jake!” I pointed to boys “they need to see Mo’at now to stop that bleeding” I patted his hip reassuringly, offering him a smile.

He looked at his oldest son who was covered in cuts and bruises.

Jake gave out a frustrated sigh shaking his head “Kiri take Neteyam to see your Grandmother, Neytiri please go with them.”

As they started to move he grabbed Lo’ak’s arm “not you, you’re grounded for a month, no flying. Take that crap off your face and go help tend to the Ikrans.”

He let go of Lo’ak’s arm and left to help the other hunters unload the weapons from the raid.

‘I really have to go talk to him about that voice he’s using with the boys’ My eyes trailed after Jake, filled with slight disappointment towards him.

I turned my head back to a sad looking Lo’ak, I put down my holopad and opened arms to gesture to him for a hug, giving him a soft smile.

He returned my smile weakly and kneeled down to give me a tight hug.

“Don’t mind him kiddo, your dad is just worried about what would happen to you and your siblings during this time, it’s tough on him and your mom, but give him time okay?” I patted his head and back gently as Lo’ak snuggled into my neck for comfort, it’s during times like these that I’m reminded that he’s just kid caught in the middle of a bad situation “ your dad will come around soon and see that you’re trying your best, until then I’m in your corner okay?”

Lo’ak lifted his head from my neck and sniffles “promise aunty?” He lifted his right hand in front of me lifting his pinky finger.

I melted a bit at the action, I sometimes can’t believe that these kids took after some human cultural gestures that I taught them. I took my left hand and also presented my pinky finger and looped it with his.

“I pinky promise”
