your Patron Librarian is much like a cat, it seems. she has many cat-like habits. you would know, you've experienced such habits. out of curiosity and certainly nothing else, you began to keep a small notebook of every instance of this intriguing behavior. internally, you call them cute. of course you never say it out loud to Binah- not while you're at work. she must maintain a professional image in front of the rest of her assistants, after all. nothing like your notes, with the anecdotes and doodles in the margins of the pages alongside the list of occurrences over the days.

Binah slow blinked yesterday.

she smushed her cheek against yours last week.

the Patron Librarian stared at you across the room a little bit ago.

so it goes.

one night you test your luck, just for fun. you're leaning against Binah, curled in her lap as you read together in comfortable silence. quietly you shift, raising a hand. the goal is to not draw her attention. for once, you're successful in that aspect, and your fingers settle in her hair and begin to lightly, gently scratch her scalp.

Binah blinks, once. her eyes settle on you with the whisper of a question, but it fades as they close and she indulges herself to lean against your palm. there's a faint smile on her face and one on yours to match, carefully running your hands through her hair. Binah hums softly, and an adoring glimmer shines in her eyes when she turns to look at you again.

Tony Stark being an asshole in the comics/films/cartoons: Intentional from the author, normally these attitudes will bite him in the ass later.

Bruce Wayne being an asshole in comics/movies/cartoons: Most of the time it's not intentional and we notice this because the authors forget about it a comic later.

(Not that I necessarily like Tony, I like some versions, but I think it's funny how they put him on Bruce's side and say that they are the other publisher's version of each other, or that Bruce has the highest morals or, god forbid, Batdad is better than Irondad).
