this is so everything to me as a blaze fan. hammerstrom did so well tapping into her original rush characterization which usually gets brushed aside. she didn't know how to trust people or work together with others, and cream and sonic taught her how by the end of the game. but she's still herself despite it all!! it's still deeply rooted within her instincts to carry the burden alone, especially in order to protect the friends that she now has. and i absolutely love that!!!

and she works SO WELL in tandem with sonic and cream when she allows them in!!! it makes me so happy!!!!!!! :333

i started reading the book The Sparrow after hearing a lot of good things about it and reading a few excerpts, and i knew going in that it was a really dark book that handled a lot of really intense stuff and that the main character's life is essentially falling apart bc of trauma, but then when i actually start reading it i start. REALLY LIKING this main character because he is. HES JSUT A NICE BOY. what do you meaaannnnnnnnnnn he's just this nice boy who became a priest searching for his faith and he makes all his friends laugh and he genuinely loves them.... mary doria russell when i catch you (positive)
