Also, weird question: Could his species breed with humans and have a viable offspring?? What would that child be like? Would it be more human with some rabbit traits or the opposite?

If Nyx's partner has a uterus (and if he wasn't either ace due to my preference or just did something out of curiosity) I'd say it's similar to two animals from sister species having offspring. A donkey and a horse can produce a mule but mules can't have offspring together. Due to unmatched chromosomes from the horse and donkey counterparts mostly, so they're infertile.

If a rabbit-hybrid and human had a kid, it would be low chance, and would take on more traits of the more dominant species, a human.

This could work many different ways, but mostly how you phrased it, a rabbit-hybrid that looks more human like than others.

As for your first remarks, absolutely.

Nyx is a prey species, his family is a prey species and they live in a community of burrows where other rabbit-hybrids live. Humans are by nature predators and as such are usually larger, stronger, and far more dangerous. Humans do eat rabbits, I have before when my folks hunted some down and added them to the family gathering menu

Nyx got off on the best foot with his human because they(you) saved his life, proving that humans can be just as helpful as they can harmful. For Nyx, it takes a long time of convincing his family to just meet you, and also to let him leave the burrow again because he promised to meet up with you and they were terrified for his life.

Cause to rabbit-hybrids or prey species hybrids, humans are hunters, carnivores at the top of their food chain by sheer force of will and intelligence, having grown to outrank their own predators. Humans are feared, respected from afar for the good that they can do, but mostly feared. In a way it's almost superstitious like when a human talks about fae

"never accept their food or else you'll be hooked" humans are just damn good cooks. "Never allow them to take you away, you'll return knowing little of your own world and remember unfathomable knowledge." If you let a stray cat come inside it's gonna get socialized to a person through effort. It's gonna forget how to survive on its own bc it's taken good care of by it's human and will learn how to 'converse' with humans and human ways. Am I making sense?

There's also generally separation between humans and most prey like species. Obviously some couple together but it's a more unpopular thing to see and can be a bit difficult.

There's also a power imbalance in the relationship that's always needing to be remembered. Nyx is small and weak compared to his human partner, he can easily be scared by them and while sometimes it's fun, his human has to remember to be calm with him. One big explosion of anger towards him and he'll fall back on instincts and flee and hide. Then it's an emotional mess for everyone because you scared your bunny boy and he wants to feel safe and only feels safest when you hold him but you're the one that scared him and he's lost at that moment.

Though, if we wanted to talk about how that would really work, you would be unable to read Caine's code without a 3rd party program(how easy that would be depends on the language). That stuff isn't meant to be accessible to the player so it's not like you could get into it from within the game. There is no right click to inspect element here, at best all you could get is a custom error code.

But Caine could give you access to some files to read. Would he? Probably not. But honestly you would just find a bunch of notes either explaining what/how something works or the developers crying over how shit their code is but how it still technically works so they have to go with it.

Thanks! I love astronomy [very casually] so it’s been fun to have a reason to research- though I won’t lie. The version of Gliese667Cc that you see here is like 80% fiction given how little we know about the planet and its system.

To be so completely honest, I have not figured out how Carlos and Charles met, I don’t really dig into it as much as I should, they’ve basically been work partners for a while, Charles runs the Monaco branch of Mafioso, their work is mostly separate from the Italian line, but they work closely together, In buisness Charles is very aggressive (as you can kind of see at his first introduction, Max is the only proper exception to this rule, he is outwardly hostile to everyone’s else he hasn’t met, it takes an awful lot of time for him to warm up to someone) Carlos was needed to level this out a bit and ensure there was no irrational decisions being made out of rage, Charles begrudgingly agreed, although mostly he’s quite rational, just very harsh, usually it just ends up being they good cop/ bad cop buisness deals to get the best outcome.

Max and Lando will be having interactions later on in the fic, but not right now because he doesn’t work in TPH with the rest of them

Absolutely. It's not that uncommon for twins or even triplets to present with different statuses. They all have their own personalities and traits and so it's pretty normal for them to have different statuses.

It is less common in identical twins than fraternal twins, though. The chances are far greater for identical twins to present with the same status, to the point it's almost expected. It can happen, though. Just kind of depends on the genetics and how the traits get passed down, really.

And yes, twins are more likely if the parents were a twin or had twins in their family still. Status pairings of the parents don't really have any effect on that.

—-there’s a side entrance for royalty , Sins, Ars goetia to use where they won’t get swamped by Hellborns or Sinners .

—Originally Lu-Lu world Didn’t allow Sinners at all, it was just for Hellborns and imps , one of the first places for the lower class Hellborns to mingle with demons and royalty in pride .

—- Lucifer made the theme park for Charlie but also cause he had a weird dream about some random human and a mouse and a cool playground .

—-it helped give the Pride ring its strongest Infrastructure and economic boost .

— eventually Lilith and Eve and some higher up Hellborns convinced him to allow Sinners in, provided they don’t cause trouble /some parts of the park are Hellborn only still.

—- a lot of it snake and apple themed but also other Sin’s themed.

—- His favorite ride is the Log ride cause Pride is hot and the water is cool but also people’s faces at being launched straight down at 85mph is so funny .

I can see *eventually* Sausage finding out, but it's no where in the near future.

Sausage may or may not have seen Scott in his ceasg form, but he doesn't have the connection of "Oh that seamonster was Scott." He's seen Scott. He's seen a ceasg. He does not know that it was Scott. More on that later :>

As it stands, of the pirate cast, Acho knows (duh), Martyn knows (whoops), & Cleo (and Kyle somewhat) has a Suspicion somethings off witn Scott but nothing concrete. Scott's an odd fella as it is so who knows.

What about the 3 wishes myth?

There are differences between what would be Our-World Myths vs In-Universe Mechanics.

Such as, I see ceasg Scott as having *some* abilities but not endless wish-granting ones.

I do see more of sort of "Partial soul bound until the wishes are fulfilled" sort of thing. Contractual if you will. Where Scott more-or-less has to do 3 Things of whatever Thr Person says or wants (favors, so to speak).

So Yes on wishes, but Scott doesn't have any endless power to do whatever.

Tl;Dr: Sausage does not know & Scott is obligated to basically do three favors for anyone that finds out.

Are there different breeds of rabbit people like there are well, normal rabbits?

Are there EVEN smaller rabbits? We have tea cup buns and they arr ITTY BITTY THINGS so squish

But also, would there be rabbit people who are "big" compared to the normal rabbit person(im unsure of what to call them tbh😭), there are Flemish Giant rabbit and they are TANKS irl. I feel like of the "rabbit human" world they'd be gaint and get odd comments like tall humans do. Think "oh your tall....do you play basketball?"

Short answer: in a way

Long answer: I wouldn't say different breeds but I wouldn't say no either. Like how humans different backgrounds give different aspects,

Caucasian backgrounds usually mean lighter skin tones and normally thinner hair and rounded eyes. Not always the case

Asian backgrounds usually mean darker hair that also has a thinner texture, narrower eyes, usually lighter tones but sometimes darker as well. Not always the case

African backgrounds usually mean darker skin tone and eye color and more textured and voluminous hair. Not always the case

Bc even the most narrow depiction isn't 100% because people mingle and travel and just have genetics that don't always follow source code

So for the hybrids I'd say certain bloodlines hold distinct traits, fur colors, size and height, ear styles, ECT but it's not a 100% separation like the way we can say "this breed of rabbit is a XYZ because of these traits that are all identical" more like people "oh yeah my family has XYZ in our DNA"

Am I making sense?

Now rabbit hybrids that do have stronger bloodlines geared towards certain traits like height would absolutely get those kinda comments, Nyx is a smaller hybrid as is most of his family, so they usually hear short jokes specifically

Okay I had more thoughts on the restaurant dynamic than I thought I did, so you can read below the cut

My schedule is every Sunday and Wednesday(my time)! I like to update regularly (lowkey I think I’m addicted to the dopamine hit from comments😬😬) so I’ve written a lot in advance so I can keep up, I don’t know if I’ll be fully able to stick to the schedule as I have like 3 months staright of exams from here on out, but I’ll try :)

Yes, it is! The Prancing Horse is a (very unsubtle) cover up for their Mafia crime. They do have actual customers, many in fact. It may not be their main priority, but anything that’s Charles puts his name too HAS to be good, has to live up to the name. So the restaurant is very good, very posh, has a lot of customers, and important customers.

Regular people will go there, some know it’s a front, but also know that a criminal gang won’t start something with a random civilian, too risky. Some customers have absolutely no clue, especially considering it’s a bit of a tourist hotspot, some place locals like to tell people to visit so they can laugh with their friends later about how they sent someone to a criminal restaurant

There are ALSO many, many criminals who go there too, other crime bosses and their gangs, low level criminals, it’s a hotspot for them too. It’s relatively safe for the criminal world to do their dealings in such a criminally dominated space. It’s also good for the government because (as I plan on going into later) they don’t go after the Mafioso because it’s so good for their economy, and they don’t shut down TPH because they can send undercover agents in to listen to other criminals conversations, so it’s a bit of a win win.

Once Max gets his job (small spoiler but cmon, we ALL knew it was happening) he will be serving actual customers, the only issue comes in when he’s totally oblivious to the whole crime thing, and suddenly people are making wink wink nudge nudge comments to him that completely fly over his head.

Fanart is always welcome, as long as it’s SFW and respects the established relationships of you are going to be labeling it as MIC rather than just IC. I’ve had a handful of fanarts created by readers and helpers and it’s always so amazing to see the world come to life in ways I’m not able to craft on my own!!

I’m not too keen on MIC fanfics as fanfics of fanfics can easily get toes stepped on. I’m uh…I’m a little possessive of my little trauma babs. If you want to write about wider world other people having adventures within whatever weird loose canon I establish then have at it! But developing your own IC AU may be a better fit.

MIC OCs are great! We’ve got some of the ones I’ve made already, like Torin, Dr Isiah Vilks, and his daughter Dr Sara Vilks (if a Vilks is mentioned outside of Farthen Dur it’s usually Sara) and the host of random background blokes and folks! I’d always love to meet your MIC OCs!! Arya, Brom and Glen have all had long lives that saw them connecting to, meeting and touching the lives of hundred and hundreds of people, be it briefly or for long, generation spanning friendships. It’s always fun to see the world grow!!
