[!Warning!] Rogue Legacy 2 Spoilers I like Naamah. She's an inherently feminine figure and her role in the story reflects that. Not only is Naamah a motherly, almost Holy Mary-like character, her mercy, her grace, her position as a sort of damsel in distress only strengthens her connection to traditionally feminine tropes in fiction and character writing. Naamah's wording of certain phrases can also showcase her role as a feminine figure. "In this land of death, I have birthed a cornucopia of life.", "Tend to the forest as I tend to my own children (Presumably referring to her people as opposed to literal children)" all brings motherly imagery to mind. Overall, her speech is eloquent and expresses tons of personality in few words. If my presumptions are correct, Naamah has to be the character with the fewest word spoken next to Tubal, and yet, her short sentences spoken in colourful and rather "old" language as well as her bullet points make for a very unique speech pattern. I can make a word by word analysis of her words and how they reflect her personality, but that's for another day. Naamah is also a very graceful character. Her battle is stuctured like a dance, her design is simplistic yet effective, with her flower carriage being the most recognisable trait. The vines behind Naamah's back give her a regal look, almost appearing like a throne, but the feature I like the most is her veil retaining symbolic meaning as her outfit changes from a funeral dress to that of a wedding one with only a simple colour change. With all that said, Naamah isn't just a pure, sinless maiden. Her relentlessness when it comes to protecting her values and general stubborness prove her to be a stronger character than can initially be thought. As Maria once said, "Estuary Naamah could be remarkably cruel", which is proven by the fact that she commited genocide like a total girlboss. The mass murder was likely at least partially caused by her valuing the forest perhaps even more than human life, "…My forest, and centuries of careful stewardship, will be gone." This may even the reason the other Estuaries allegedly hated Naamah. In a way, her sticking to her own traditions can even be seen as a foil to Enoch's rebellious nature. And lastly, looking at early artwork, Naamah was to rest her hands on the petals of her carriage, but the 3D artist seems to have interpreted it as raptor hands, which is just adorable. I like Naamah
