7. What's something that the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

Honestly, I think that Kazunari is one of the most accurately portrayed character in this fandom! He is one of the most popular characters (TOP 3 according to the Character Popularity Poll held after Season 3) and is overall beloved by everyone! He used to be my favorite character back in the day sooo I saw a bunch of fanart and comics and read a bunch of fanfiction with him. I was always pretty pleased with how the authors and artists portayed him! ⭐️

After all, his character is pretty straight-forward in the anime and the manga, misunderstanding him is literally almost impossible. He is easy-going, he wants to have fun, he is friendly and overall a pretty chill and pleasant person. He is also caring and thoughtful, always knowing what Shintaro's lucky item is and carrying it himself sometimes! He can get pretty worried about his friends and teammates when things start going downhill, but he is always trying to brighten up the atmosphere and cheer everyone up! He is also really passionate about things, like basketball and collecting and trading cards! Even though he's usually goofing around, being loud and having fun, he knows when and how to get serious, like we've seen in all matches he's played. We know all his basketball skills come from hard-work and practicing, so, he is also someone who knows he deserves the things he got and knows how to cherish them. He has really good observation skills and seems to be aware of his capabilities, strenghts and weaknesses, he is not afraid of admitting to be wrong and he always tries to be a better version of himself, which is a thing to respect! Another beautiful thing is that he is in touch with his emotions. When he is happy he laughs, when he is sad he cries, he knows how to let anger out, he knows how to show he is uneasy, no shame or hesitation when expressing how he's feeling in the moment. He seems to know how to follow his intuition, too, following it when he is passing the ball around the court to his teammates! 💫

Overall, he is really just an incredible person and the fandom is pretty aware of all of his qualities! There's always the right amount of fooling around, right amount of seriousness, raw emotions, passion, understanding... The fandom literally always slays when it's about Kazunari 🧡

8. What's something that the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

The only thing I have seen in some works that I didn't really like was when Kazunari was portrayed to be absolutely delluded and deranged in his obsession with Shintaro. They made Shintaro the center of Kazunari's universe and had everything evolve around him. People might defend it because he thought that way before (when Teiko beat his team and he quit basketball but continued praticing just to beat them some day) but it's just childish spite in my opinion or just a weird way he motivated himself to become better. Obsessing over a single person is not really something I think Kazunari would be like, especially if that person is not a significant other or rejected his love. He can surely distribute his love, time and compassion so all his friends and family members can get around the equal amount. I also believe that he can love his significant other in a healthy way by not obsessing over them, stalking them or having his happiness and moods depend on them. Yeah. I just think he has a healthier mind. 💛

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Well, in my heart, Shintaro and Kauznari are more than friends, so I am kicking Shintaro out immediately. A person I think Kazunari would be incredible friends with is... you might have already guessed it or you might have seen it coming... Kotaro! (I am so obvious, sorry) ⭐️

They're very similar in a few ways and similar people naturally get along! They're close with age so they share their High School and teenage struggles, they play the same sport, they're the little light of their teams and their personalities are almost identical! Friendly and easy-going, they're loud and they are always looking for ways to make things fun! Honestly, I just want them to meet each other and be friends and be goofy together. I think they would boost each other's energy and that they would do a lot of fun and exciting things all the time and just really enjoy each other's company! They would always agree to do some random and crazy things and when everyone rejects their silly ideas, they will know that they can always do it all with each other! For example, would anyone at Rakuzan easily agree to going to the theme park just to try out the scariest roller coasters with Kotaro for fun on a random Thursday during the summer vacation? Not really. Well, Kazunari surely would! They would just be best buddies with many crazy stories and memories... 🧡

OMG I LOVE THIS ASK yes your headcanons are so so good and correct. can you imagine HOW annoying jade would get if he found out that khatri is attracted to him? I used to find this episode kinda cringe inducing and laughable instead of eerie and funny, its still kinda like that but ive come to really appreciate it since that user made me realise this episode was body horror and it lead me to actually find it enjoyable !! (except for that lil chase they do near the end, on paper its funny but when i actually look at it its still just cringe and laughable for me sadly)

Ive come to really dislike how off the pacing in the writing and animation is in a lot of later iz episodes... and this one has just NONE of that... Its all solid throughout... i think thats what made it super rewatchable lately for me... it all flows so well... the soundtrack, the jokes, the transitions etc. Just everything on top of the pacing and i love it...!!

There's a cute lil team up between my blorbos ... zim not lying when he said there wasnt a cure... i love that they dont find one.... dib actually scaring zim for a sec before he slaps him away is just fucking gold... it never gets old... but literally every interaction between the two is gold in this episode and after realizing that zim and dib had much less episodes where they interact a lot like this than i remembered... its lovely... so very lovely for me....

BUT i will say that i've found it helpful to have a dumb, low-stakes, just-for-you project if you're too strung out to work on anything else that you're trying to Take Seriously. the stupider this thing is the better. because then you can dash out a few hundred words in this weird little side thing without worrying about if it's any good or not and guess what!! that's still writing!! you still wrote something!! hooray!!

when you open up a new doc and you have a really clear idea of what you want the first few pages to look like so the words come very easily and they're even pretty good words. they're in the right order and everything. ALSO dialogue. i fucking love writing dialogue <3<3

How I feel about this character I LOVE HIM SOOO SO MUCH. he gets such a bad rep from the fandom at large but he's actually so compelling and i wish more people would pay attention to him. i love that he's selfish i love that he's opinionated i love that he's a workaholic because he feels that's the only way to prove himself i LOVE that he represses his feelings. his relationship with his family also drives me nuts. 10/10 character.

All the people I ship romantically with this character mostly thirteen, taub and house (though i am open to shipping him with chase sometimes). thirteen because they were not only cute together (the little mirror shuffle...) but also they were TRAGIC as shit. honestly one of the healthier couples on this show but it was inherently never going to end well because of thirteen's huntington's combined with foreman being a neurologist with control issues! but they loved each other anyway! taub because whatever they had going on during the roommates era was insane. i feel like taub is also one of the only people with whom we ever see foreman actually enjoy himself??? LIKE. they got high together in the hospital basement and ran around giggling and chasing each other. literally peace and love on planet earth and house for the thrill of enjoying literally any house/fellow ship (fucked up boss/employee dynamic) but especially because of how foreman gets compared constantly to house during early seasons and is scared to become him, yet enjoys working under him in some fucked up way. they had something going on!!! trust!!!

My non-romantic OTP for this character honestly gotta say him and cameron. i don't remember much about their general dynamics now but i remember their whole drama in s2 where foreman apologized and cameron didn't accept until right before he went under for a surgery that could've very well killed him

My unpopular opinion about this character if you read any of my foreman takes you'll already know this but 90% of the hate for him is just straight up fandom racism. yeah please tell me about how you love all the white characters for all their flaws but foreman is just too selfish for you. ok man as if they're not All horrible people 💀

soooo from their first few fights i was like ??? and then when they first started working together especially i was like ?!?!?!?? okay there’s something here!!! i’m a huge fan of the whole rivals-to-lovers trope thing, and they kind of had that going on, plus the juxtaposition of an ada/pm pairing and the whole “this is a temporary partnership; you’re the lesser of two evils” attitude (mostly in the guild arc and so on) was a cute way of having them together while maintaining that divide that would be so interesting to explore should a romantic relationship bud between them

THEN there’s the hunting dogs, ch88, all that good stuff… and OH that’s when i really lost my mind over them i think. i was absolutely devastated by akutagawa’s sacrifice; the fact that he did so at all, all the words exchanged, and the general tone of the scene. the manga was a few chapters past 88 when i started reading it so i was absolutely losing my mind thinking akutagawa was actually dead… and atsushi’s reaction to that omgggg

also just generally there’s a lot of little things about their relationship that i think are super interesting and would be nice together in a relationship, or just intriguing things to explore, like the obvious difference in their relations to dazai (which i won’t have to simply speculate on much longer probably, asagiri’s got me covered!!!) to me, they’re kind of like skk without such a deeply rooted reason for ill feelings. obviously they didn’t really start off on the right foot, but they’ve yet to abandon one another to that degree or spent years apart and at each other’s throats so harshly (and i do still like skk but like you get what i’m getting at hopefully lmao). I unfortunately forgot where i saw it, but i saw something once that said that skk is trust without understanding, fyolai is understanding without trust, and sskk is slowly shaping up to be both !!! and i really like that idea!!!!! i just think sskk has such great potential and i love love love seeing fan content of them and other people’s interpretations and everythingg

Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end.

Agh! I don't know which passage! So I entered my fics into the wheel of names and spun the wheels and what cae up was How Do You Feel?. So I chose a random scene from it:

Lancelot was much worthier than him. He was the one who was supposed to live. He was just a knight who got roped into this world of sacrifice and grief because he befriended Merlin. Merlin the sorcerer. Merlin the curse.

Okay, about this. I love the concept of Merlin just thinking himself as not human. Whether it's him thinking that he's a monster or a tool for Destiny, or whatever it is. And so I wanted to explore that little bit and I thought "what if Merlin thought of himself as a curse?" And I quickly wrote this moment.

Instead of Merlin thinking he can't tell Arthur about his magic because he didn't want to put Arthur in that position or because he was afraid Arthur would kill him or any of those standard reasons, what if the reason why Merlin doesn't want to tell Arthur about his magic is because he thinks that he's a curse?

Because so far, whoever knows about his magic - Will, Freya, Lancelot, Daegal, Finna, Alator - have died or have been close to death multiple times (Gaius). So what if he thinks that when Arthur finds out about his magic, that Arthur is going to die?

I have a fic in my drafts for this concept. I have to figure out the logistics and details of it. But ye!

Weekly routine - do y'all have a day of the week where you do something special [movie night, date, etc.]?

Hmmm... Well, we're usually very busy being evil gods, me and Seph XD we almost always return home kinda exhausted. But we have this simple routine for winding down when home, like me helping Sephiroth with his hair care routine (EXCUSE ME have you seen that mans GLORIOUS silver hair, you CANNOT tell me he doesn't have at least an hour long routine for his hair ONLY-) while we listen to the music in the background, or preparing favorite dish for either Sephiroth or me (we both switch in cooking), or reading book(s) together. When we have time, though, movie nights, roof dates, video game playing and watching, walking, and bathing together are definitely our favorite things to do <3

Pets - if you have any pets, do they have a 'favorite' out of the two [three,] of you? Who washes them and who takes them out on a walk to let them dry or dries them with the dryer? Who do they cuddle more?

Indeed, we have pets! A shifting immortal snake, Beryl, and a three-eyed demon black cat, Nocturna🥺(Beryl was found by Tsizilia, and Nocturna was adopted by both her and Sephiroth.)

Ohhh, Sephiroth LOVES to tease me with his undeniable love for Nocturna. Since I get easily jealous when they're given love and attention, he likes to do it on purpose just to see me pout. (Sephiroth actually wants me to CLING AND PLEAD FOR HIM BUT NAH, I WON'T SUCCUMB.) I fire back by literally showering Beryl with kisses and cuddles, as he hangs out with me around my neck. That teasing lasts until someone of the two of us gives up and traps the other into a possessive bear hug😚

Sephiroth clearly loves Nocturna more than Beryl a tiny bit (which is obvious even under all that denying😭), but when he's feeling overly stressed and cannot step up with Nocturnas nightly energy, he likes to carry around Beryl around his neck as well, as he reads, or just let him gently crawl around his (beefy, sexy - Tsizilia) arms. He has this immense, calm energy, that we like to call Beryls 'Zen mode' (we even gave him a nickname, Zen-ryl XD)

It is usually me who washes the pets, and Sephiroth trims them/helps them through shading time. (He just finds snake/serpent shading very fascinating to watch🥺) I dry Nocturna, while Beryl is left to dry on his own.

What do you think of the new transformers comic?

I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. SKYBOUND AAUUUU oh my god I am nearly obsessed. It’s so good and I love the art and I love the characterization and I just KNOW it’s gonna get better.

I have my small irks with it ofc, I was a little offput by the sort of maybe ish implied arcee x ratchet but that’s just a personal gripe, so I’m not even that mad about it. I don’t think it’ll become canon anyways but.

I love starscream. I love unapologetically evil starscream. I love irredeemable starscream and you know what I love more? Angry soundwave.

I want (I HOPE, I PRAY) soundwave to get fed up with starscreams bullshit and finally do something. Soundwave is such a powerful and underutilized character I want skybound to actually let him take more control over the decepticons for once. Even for a short while until megatron comes back. Soundwave is always the “loyal guy standing stoically behind whoever is in charge” and I yearn for soundwave to get ANGRY and take matters into his own hands. Because god, if anyone can successfully lead the decepticons it’s that bastard.

I also am so so happy to see Jazz again. And Jazz is so wonderfully… Jazz. It’s perfect. He’s perfect.

THE POINT IS. I love it and I’m very excited for more. I have very high hopes and I’m so eager to see what DWJ has planned.
