Ooo thats a good one! I haven't actually had many of my faves release new Albums this year and I spent most of it listening to music from two decades ago tbh but as far as new stuff that dropped that I really liked:

"Cold Reactor/The Mad Stone" by Everything Everything are BOTH SOOO FUCKIN GOOD I cannot overstate my excitement for their new album slated for March 2024, if it keeps up this kinda energy it's gonna be even better than the last one

I'm legally obligated to give The Entire Balder's Gate 3 soundtrack a shout out. I've been listening to it since I grabbed the game and it's truly so good the entire way thru. Special shout out to the song "Weeping Dawn," the sidequest that song comes from grabbed my heartstrings and it cemented the song as one of my faves in the whole game

I've been listening to a frankly insane amount of Vocaloid this year thanks to picking up playing Project Sekai, so in no particular order, a few of my favorite new singles from there would be "Beyond The Way" by Giga ft. Vivid Bad Squad, "Assassination" by Matsubi ft. KAITO, The whole album of "Reverberations of Alterasion" by Re:nG ft. KAITO, "Hello Builder" by Utsu-P ft. Hatsune Miku, and "Pathological Facade" by Ghost and Pals ~

I just found this one the other day but "A Lesson in Dramatics" by Jhariah is really really good and yall should listen to his stuff, both his 2018 and 2021 albums are super fun listens

"Halfwolf" by Aviators. I would be so remiss not to add Aviators to my favorites of any year tbh he seems to come out with a new album yearly and everytime it's one of the highlights of my new music listening
