I love Dave Roberts, the Dodgers manager. His pitcher, Buehler, gave up 6 runs in the 3rd inning, and he said when asked about what's going on, that he had faith in his pitcher. When playing at this level, there are bound to be harder innings like this one. He believes in Buehler and said that he had more to give, and he'll be pitching in the next inning. He pitched and had a 1,2,3 out inning. Faith can do wonders. I wish that Aaron Boone could show as much respect and faith in his pitchers and players as this great man just did. It's not only the right way to manage a team, but it's how you get the best out of your players. When Gerrit Cole struggled in the beginning of the first game against the Royals and then got his mojo back and pitched a 1,2,3 inning, Boone rewarded him by taking him out of the game with barely 70 pitches in the 4th. What a crappy reward. The same thing happened in the 2nd game with Carlos Rodon. He was taken out in the 4th with a little over 70 pitches Have some faith in your pitchers and players. Nestor Cortés was taken out of the rotation which upset him greatly and he won the game for us. He deserves respect. Oswaldo Cabrera is not given the respect he has earned either. Neither is Anthony Volpe or Alex Verdugo. For some idiotic reason, Boone has faith in players who don't perform like DJ Lemahieu and Clay Holmes. Buy a clue, Boone. Boone needs to have faith and nurture my team and stop making rash, irrational, disrespectful decisions. The Yankees are a great team. Show them the respect that Dave Roberts shows his team. I have great respect for the way the LA Dodgers are treated and the man in charge of that team. I wish that he was the Yankees manager. Just saying
