has no idea what the game is so youre going to have to explain it to him, he gets way too into it because of what it implies- if you were suspecting he had a crush on you this is kind of a confirmation because theres no other reason he would jump at the oppurtunity

all talk until the game actually starts, he kind of just freezes up or slows his tune a lot... didnt actually expect you to agree, or think about what would happen if the game actually started

barely meets you in the middle due to his nerves, and i can honestly see him pulling away at the last minute

its not like he doesnt WANT to meet you in the middle, its just that its a little overwhelming! and this would technically be his first kiss with you! if its going to happen he wants it to be more special!

dork... but it doesnt help him in growing the nerve to approach you to ask you out

this is a random observation but i looooooove it when a very pretentious person with actually very little of value to say is going on an inane rant and they start doing the Repetition For Emphasis thing. you know, like "THIS is why we have to [x]. THIS is why we have to [y]. 1. ALL SEVEN ELEMENTALS BEIBEEEEEEEEH!!!!!

Not one by one like the comic counterpart, but literally Boboiboy used a freaking Hepta Split!

Tbh my expectations were low cause I was skeptical that Monsta not want to bring them after that last ep (link). But HOLY SHIT WTF???!!!!

I am absolutely jumping in my seat like a football supporter, I can't--

They got short screen time--I DON'T CARE. They still got a chance to team up once again after a whole 8 years since the first movie! Besides, that movie also shortened their screen time.

Whoever decided to make Oboi's armor resemble an ant needs a raise. That's freaking clever.

Btw it seemed their hats were locked with Oboi's position. Also, Hali, and Duri were the only elements that used their sword? Interesting...

"Kembali Beraksi" rearrangge version in the background during the whole scene?? Yes please!!!

Even though it is just short, their portrayal somehow solidified my deduction about the elementals.

Anywho I am still in tears that they finally showed up on screen again. That is my personal wishlist ever since when they announced the show. I am already satisfied with that alone tbh (like really, why should Monsta need to cut that part where they were essentially the big part of the promotion during the Windara comic arc??)

2. Finally Monsta went bold.

Oh, I looooooove that moment. Monsta started to not hold back and I am captivated by every single one of it. The dying scene was well executed, all voice actors were perfect, and this scene reminds me of this.

In my opinion, this scene was also a test for their next project which honestly more dark and horror(the most horror arc throughout the galaxy series for me)

3. IT IS TIME FOR BELIUUUUUNG!!!!

Can I say Nurfathiah Diaz as Beliung here was downright phenomenal? Like holy shit, this is by far her best performance imo, yet.

Her voice acting was blown me away and I could see her improvement from Taufan's first debut to Beliung's was....I'm-I'm lost for words right now.

Look at this line delivery! (Her laugh felt diabolical and I love it.)

"Tuanku yang seksa penduduk planet ni, paksa orang tua dan budak-budak kerja di lombong, tapi saye yang biadab?!"

Edit: Turns out she was pregnant when recording Beliung??

My Respect to her went rocket. Wow.

As a person who watch her performance since the very first season of Upin&Ipin until Boboiboy... I couldn't be more proud :')

And the animation team seriously packed the action right to the tea! Reramos was absolutely blasted the whole way by Beliung. He's as ruthless as Taufan's OG era!

See? See??? Being patient is worth it guys. Therefore I was easily enjoyed the design choice of Beliung's TV ver without seeing leaks.

Taufan's upgraded board also acted as weapons and wings? Genius. And also directly parallel to the first fight with Maripos. He even said this:

Now I am 100% ready for other 3rd tier designs if this is what Monsta decides to continue on.

To end this, Monsta decided to some sort of "invite" Oboi and Kuputeri into a small dark room, purposely to give a more in-depth conversation between the two, linked by Kuputeri's telepath power.

In my opinion, I prefer this strategy rather than the comic counterpart. Cause in a way, Monsta wants to show the bond between Kuputeri and Oboi as same as how Tok Kasa did with him in movie 2. Symbolize by placing the hat as they entrusted their power to the very same boy.

It might be exaggerating but that jumbled corrupted effect when Beliung's struggled? Impressive. Even more impressive that Monsta knowingly used the same effect when "finally" showcasing Beliung's card.

Speaking of ads, now they released the merchandise after the debut.

Everything's not perfect and I do have slight issues, but honestly? I'm pretty satisfied with this episode! They ended it nicely done!

Lastly—

Are they not use DWIFUSION as their next title? If so, Gentar arc and Baraju arc are separated! Thank god! My biggest worry apparently will not come true! Alhamdulillah!!

PS: Oh wow, would you look at those numbers! 2 million within 3 hours when I screenshot this. What an impressive improvements.

I just need to take a moment for Pear's character development in Be My Favorite ep9. I really enjoyed the choice for her to struggle with the information about Pisaeng and Kawi being a couple now, in contrast to her very graceful acceptance of Pisaeng's rejection several episodes ago. It makes perfect sense that she'd be confused about this, because Kawi was explicitly hitting on her before, and she was starting to catch feelings and thought they were on the same page. This is a very different scenario from when Pisaeng was giving her very subtle "I'm not interested" feelings for years. And yet she still talks to Not to get him to agree to stop outing Pisaeng and Kawi, because she is still their friend even if she's hurt and confused and needs time to process.

And I looooooove the way she talked to her mother, and the way we got more context about it through her conversation with Pisaeng. How she didn't even know she was going to be that angry because she'd not seen her mom successful before (even though we in the audience could definitely tell there was something in the realm of hurt and resentment there, because Aye is such a great actor). How it was easier to not be mad at her mom for leaving when her mom was visibly struggling without them. I love how human this is! I love that Pear gets to say "she hurt us both badly, and I said something a little mean about it, and I'M the one you're mad at?!" to her father, A++.

And it's so interesting this detail about Pear's mom was shown in the same episode as Kawi and Pisaeng's relationship was revealed. The parallels of people doing things that follow their own wants and needs but in doing so inadvertently hurt Pear specifically, and neither are able to control her response to or emotions about both decisions, is very fun.

$400 is crazy for a concert, but my sibling showed me three different live performances of tyler the creators "NEW MAGIC WAND" a while back and it had me rethinking a bit when bro walked out with a FLAMETHROWER MID SONG??? at camp Flog Gnaw...

I looooooove big crazy creative performances nomnomnom I eat them up you could never do too much for me in a concert

I just wish I remembered this concert better because I was THERE but my memory is so garbage... Even just a good stage presence is so memorable. I don't even listen to malcom todd, but went with my sibling so they wouldn't be alone. bro was SO interactive and fun with the audience. he was actively talking to the audience, taking peoples phones and taking pics before giving them back, someone gave him her graduation cap and he wore it a whole performance. I had a great time having only known a single song of his. I just love unique and fun performances. I love when you can tell an artist wants to be there, and has put love and effort into the way they present the music they've put all that effort into making. I can't really blame an artist for just singing their music but I just love when I see a performance that I want to go back and see again. Seeing tylers three different performances of new magic wand, I can tell he belts his soul into each one and has put a lot of thought into the way he performs it. the atmosphere is great and the intensity of it fits his music well. of course he has a much higher budget so I understand how impossible it would be for most artists to have such a big production. but even just the act of having a stage presence that tells people you want to be there is big.

I always write from a very visual place, but in particular once I started working with Izzy I began more and more to lean into striking imagery to give him some good juicy chunks of flesh to bite into with his pen and ink. This episode is JAM PACKED with em. The mountain, the blood waterfall, the O Brother Where Art Thou flood (pictured), the Owner in the shadows, the Twin Peaks lodge--there's a LOT. I love the 'it's a living' boredom the Manager and the Lobby boy wear in his piece (not to mention RED RED I'M A SUCKER FOR RED) and that moose face is so skull-y. You can hear this image plinking and plunking.

4.15 Carl Larpe

based on an actual long time fear of mine, this is one of the very few postcards for which I had an image in my head already. I think there's some small mercy in how much space the Manager has in this piece vs the actual episode. She's practically relaxed in there. This is one of my favorites to look at, something about the wood and the soft fade to shadows and the orange palette with all the squiggles. (And look at the shoulder pads in the silhouette, Izzy is never afraid to throw in the subtle humor that is built into the horror of the show.

4.16 Alex Potenski

This piece kicks so much ass. This is a popular episode and popular postcard. (People love their mushrooms) Scary skull face made of mushrooms? Blurry dreamlike boundaries? Unhinged Madam Hotel snuggling up in her glowy gown and bleeding all over the place? Yes please. And look at the white photo chemical squiggles he added to the bottom! Those get cut off in the printed postcard so I'm glad the Goosebumps frame saves them here. What a sickly color palette too.

4.17 Debbie Houston

I am pretty sure Izzy has said this is one of his favorites? He's a LB guy for sure and this one really focuses in on how centralized and uncertain the poor lad is in this episode. There's something so inviting about how unclear what you're seeing here is. Bright light, odd perspective, and look at that face. His eyes don't match, one of his arms bleeds off into the bloom, and the Hotel is crawling all over him. If you've never heard the show but you saw this image you'd know exactly what the Lobby Boy's whole deal is.

4.18 She's Always Been Here...

A retrospectively prophetic title and a deceptively simple piece that actually showcases a few filthyguts trademarks. Photobashed hands, a three color separation that also infiltrates the frame, and a contrasting simpler, cleaner central image tells you everything you need to know about the characters and dynamics at play. The Staff look sok 90's MTV animation here too, I absolutely love it.

and that is season 4. I'll do season 5 uhh tbh probably next time I have to sit down to write or something (I'm supposed to be editing next weeks bonus episode right now) but i looooooove looking at Hotel art instead.

It's October and that's all the reason I need to celebrate Izzy lets go!!!

I could talk for an hour about how Izzy's art and playlists spoke to me and why I just HAD to have him do our art, but that's another post for another day. For now lets talk about a few of the early pieces.

THE MALL

his first official piece for us. The bonus episodes and the corresponding postcards was a it of an experiment (it's experiments all the way down) and we were all so impressed with this that we just had to figure out a way to hire him. I was on the phone with Pacific when he saw it and I could practically feel the shock when the colors hit him.

4.10 Audrey Burns

(I AM WORKING ON THE LETTERING) the fisrt normal episode piece. I had no idea what was coming my way, Izzy's style is strong at its core, but the fringes and fiddly bits have such nuance and flavor. Popping colors, photobashing, giant expressions and poses, and a rare smile from our boy. He's dressed in the Hilton uniform because that's what this Hotel was based on. This one has a real Stinky Cheese Man vibe.

4.11 The Owner - V

a rare sequel episode that ties in directly with S1. Izzy really got to play with the composition, breaking it apart with the characters themselves (notice the V shape!) and infusing it with the chaos of the episode, but unified by color scheme. More photobashing (is that what its called?) and a rare view of his Hotel herself design. I love the his Owner so much. Them little grabbers!

4.12 X - X

Originally titled "? - ?" but changed because that's unpronounceable, this one is very popular on our store. Lobby Boy clutching the title and the Owner made of Hotel photos (ELEVATOR BUTTON ARM!) reinforcing the helpless power the characters have over their environment. That smiling crazed face is exactly what I pictured in season 1, and something about the colors and texture reads as fish scales to me it's like the Manager is here too (fish!Manager enjoyers unite)

4.12 Judy Blashy

One of my very very very favorites. The whole cast together, and though they all wear masks of fear you can still get their character dynamic in an instant (i like how the LB is in front of the Manager--Izzy has always understood that he is not fragile fine china that could shatter at any moment, but a mongoose under the house who doesn't like loud noises). Madam Hotel's mad, gap toothed grin, her room number earrings, her NECK LOOK AT HER NECK!!! and of course a great big splash of blood where the Owner smooshed her (mirroring the Managers head getting bonked in S3, and don't get me started on people losing eyes) I love that when we added the Goosebumps frame he drew some more blood flying out over it, always reinforcing that breaking of what seems like real boundaries effortlessly.

UK Episode Five

UK Hun?

I know I haven't at all talked about Drag Race UK this season, but I have ~opinions~ and my flatmate is getting bored of me so here we are.

First episode back after lockdown! I feel so bad for these queens, started filming, get sent home for seven months, have no idea if/when they're going to start filming again, lose income for 7 months, it must have been so awful. But I'm glad they're all back! Except poor Veronica who got covid - I hope they do a Eureka and invite her back for season 3, I feel like she had so much more to show!

Of course they brought someone back to replace her, typical drag race gag, but nice that someone else got another chance! Having said that, it should have been Astina. She didn't deserve to go home in the first place, imo. I do think it was kind of harsh to throw that at everyone first thing though! Like the eliminated three didn't get to do anything to even fight for it, and for all the remaining queens, like its been seven months! Who remembers things that long?? Not me, that's for damn sure. I think that was kind of harsh, and I think a lot of people did go for Joe maybe as a safe choice, like there's always an argument for the queen who went home first, they didn't really get to show much. You know what I wish, I wish those three had been a group for the Eurovision (I refuse to say Rurovision) challenge, and then everyone got a chance to vote someone back. That would have felt fairer somehow.

Anyway. I was initially really glad we got Joe back, because I really felt like she did have more to show. I was soon to be disappointed, however 😂

I do love the music challenges, and I adore MNEK, I hope he is like the permanent music judge. One of my favourite moments was him, I think it was after Bimini's first take, going "well...its good that we have that..." very like Chrissy Teigen 😬 that was so funny to me, I loved it.

1. A'Whora

Before the covid break I really didn't like A'Whora, but I feel like she's come back a bit more relaxed, a bit more open, and I liked her so much more this episode. I feel like maybe when she came back she was a bit more relaxed because she knew (kind of) what she was walking into, so she felt a but more at home, maybe. Anyway, I think she did really well this week! She's not a singer, but she leaned into this moany sexy thing that some people do do at Eurovision, and hey, sex sells! I think it was a smart choice for her.

Her look as well... amazing. You guys it was a bag of chips! She had wooden forks as her earrings! The font of the newspaper was to scale! She was carrying a salt shaker! It was so sick, I loved it. I loved seeing her be fashion and polished and beautiful, but also whimsy and funny at the same time! Great week for A'Whora.

2. Bimini Bon Boulash

We LOOOOOOOVE Bimini Bon Boulash! For me, she was the absolute stand out this week, I just adored her! Her verse was amazing, her lyrics were great, her very East London attitude was everything, I just loved it. And her outfit! That mad pink cowboy barbie? Incredible! Also, so Eurovision. And the jump off the stool! That lives in my head rent free. "Somebody do a death drop or summing!" Perfect. The whole performance was amazing.

Also her runway looooooook! It was so beautiful, so fashion, I was getting Gautier from that lace and the umbrella... everything about it to me was so perfect. I know it was a team win, but to me Bimini absolutely killed it, and she was my winner 🥰🥰

3. Ellie Diamond

I love Ellie, but honestly I think she's too young for this competition. She's so great, but if you give her just a couple more years, she's going to be absolutely unstoppable. I think she did pretty well this week, her lyrics were fun, she is a dancer, she performed great! I do agree with Michelle, she did look a little bit like she was in her head for a lot of the performance, but that just comes with confidence, and when you've not performed for 7 months and then suddenly you're on the main stage, that's got to be super nerve wracking!

I also think Ellie was a victim of a bad group this week. I think the group as a whole didn't have a lot of direction or focus, the choreography wasn't that great, they didn't really feel like a group. It was unfortunate. I feel like she did the best she could.

I kind of loved her runway, I think the seagull thing was hilarious! She was a human size seagull! That's hysterical. The only thing I kind of wish is that she'd had ridiculous padding on. Like, what's funnier than a giant seagull with huge tits in a bikini. I think that's so funny.

4. Joe Black

Oh Joe. I was excited for Joe to come back, but as soon as she walked out to the Eurovision challenge in that dress with that wig and a belt, I knew it was over.

I'll get into the dress H&M/Primark drama in a second, but first let's talk about the actual challenge. Joe's lyrics were pretty good, but the way she performed them was just so at odds with the track. It's cheesy Euro pop, you know? I just feel like she could have done things differently. And then with the choreo...look I don't expect anyone to walk in being a great dancer and doing flips and splits and all that, but I just felt like she didn't even really try with the moves Ellie and Tia wanted to do. Maybe that was the edit, I don't know. I also feel like, as team leader, she could have found some solutions, like they could've had Tia & Ellie doing these amazing moves, and Sister & Joe could have done something more simple, or they could have found some comedy Joe could lean into while the others were dancing, but it just seemed like they didn't even try and find a way around it? It was just a bit weird to me.

And then she came out for the runway, and it was like chalk and cheese. Joe Black had by far and away the best runway look of the night. That's one of my favourite things that's ever been worn on UK Drag Race, it was amazing. But it was also like girl if you can do that, why were you wearing H&M during the main challenge? And like, I'd get it, if that dress was beautiful, or bold, or she'd used it as a base and done something to it, but it wasn't. It was so basic, and she even said she knew it was basic, and it didn't even fit her right. It was just so disappointing.

Honestly, I understand what Ru was saying about not wanting to see off the rack. I can't believe I'm about to be defending Transphobia Paul, but I actually kind of agree. And it's not about money, I don't think anyone has to spend loads of money to be a good drag queen, I think its just about it being a Look. A Moment. Like this is internationally available TV. And you're going to come out to perform in a dress off the sale rack that you just threw on and belted? I just find that disappointing. And I get what people are saying about Astina in week 1 winning with an off the rack outfit, but at least she did something with it. I mean, first of all it at least was a cool jacket. But then she built this outfit, and sold a character, she gave us an East London Moment, and it didn't matter that the jacket was from ASOS.

Joe didn't give us anything with that dress. She did nothing with it, and she didn't give us a character or a presentation, it was just an ugly dress. But then she came out in that incredible runway look, why such a disconnect? And I know that it was covid, and everyone had a loss of income, but girl the filming started before that. Like Joe should have already had the wardrobe for the season all ready before the lockdown. And if she didn't, she had 7 months to do literally anything with that dress. Stone it, glitter it, paint it, dye it, wreck it with bleach, make it a top, make it a jacket, do SOMETHING! You know? Also, that runway look? Idk if she made it or commissioned it, but baby that was not cheap. That took time, and energy, and effort, and money, so I'm calling bullshit on "maybe she could only afford a sale rack H&M dress 😔". Bullshit, Vivienne.

I was just so disappointed in Joe. I'm glad she went home.

5. Lawrence Chaney

I was worried for Lawrence this week! She's not known for being a singer or a dancer, and she was the only plus size girl in her group. As a big bitch myself I know it can be intimidating to be surrounded by thin people, especially when you're doing things you're not confident in.

But bitch she fucking turned it out this week! She wrote good lyrics, she kept up with the choreography, but most importantly, she performed the song. Like she leaned into not being a good dancer, she didn't look unsure or awkward, she just did it. I love that about Lawrence, she always just gives it her best, and I respect the hell out of it.

Her day at the seaside look was cute. It was a little bit obvious, a little bit literal, but it was well made, it fit her beautifully, and she looked fantastic. She did the assignment, and tbh I'm happy with that. She did a good job, and I'm proud of her!

6. Sister Sister

Honesly, the fact that Tia Kofi was in the bottom two when Sister Sister was right there is a fucking hate crime.

I genuinely forgot Sister Sister even existed. Like the only memorable thing she has done all season is her Morning Talk Show goth, and that was painful to watch. And she spends all her confessionals just bitching and moaning about other people! She spent the whole Talk Show episode complaining about Veronica and saying she didn't wanna work with her, but bitch what did you do?? If you think someone else is boring, you should have no trouble out shining them! And then she didn't!

I'm over it with her. Her performance wasn't that good, her lyrics weren't that good, and then her runway look was like the Wish version of A'Whora's.

I'm not totally certain that I buy that Sister stole it as a concept from A'Whora, but... maybe? Like, if Sister had really seen A'Whora's when they were filming the first time, and Sister had something totally different back then... I can see that maybe she thought "oh, thats a way better idea". All I know is, if you're gonna do the same look as someone else, you better leave them in the dust; and she didn't. She should have been lipsyncing this week.

7. Tayce

Tayce really pulled it out this week! Her rap was one of the best performances in the whole show, she killed it! Her lyrics were great, she really delivered them like a rapper, and them she performed the hell out of the song! Loved it. The only things I had to say about Tayce was that she seemed like the odd one out in the group in terms of outfits? Like everyone else went very Eurovision, cheesy pop pink, and she went with a very cool, edgy, darker look. Like, she looked stunning, and I looooved her hair, but it just didn't quite fit with the rest of the group. But that's a real nitpick, in terms of the actual performance, she was amazing!

Tayce's runway look. It was okay. It was a little bit literal for me, she went for shells and netting. It was cool, she looked beautiful, but it wasn't like a knockout for me.

8. Tia Kofi

Tia got a raw fucking deal this week. She was the best performer in her group by a country fucking mile, she had the best lyrics, she was the best rapper, and I think she looked the best out of the four in that group (during during challenge). I could not believe they put her in the bottom two.

Okay, her runway look was not great. It was a long way from great. But at least she had a unique concept (*cough* Sister), and she gave us some form of presentation. It could have been a lot better, but there was potential! I really wish that she'd had a much more defined look, I wish the skirt had been a high waisted pencil skirt, with some kind of cone-like texture somehow, really fitted and beautiful. And then I wish the top had been really big and over the top ruffles, maybe tulle, just something BIG. And that wouldn't have had to be expensive, you can buy cheap pencil skirts, she could have dyed one brown herself, and then she could have bought that cheap mesh that looks like tulle and made a really big rounded ice cream top out of it - I'm just proving my point about Joe Black and the off the rack thing now btw. But I wish it had just been a bit more considered than it was. And I also wish she'd had a flake head piece instead of a cherry, because when you buy those ice creams at the beach it's always a 99.

One thing I will give Tia's runway this week is that her face was stunning. I think that's the best her face has looked all season, the makeup was beautiful.

There was kind of a lot of drama this week with the whole off the rack thing, and then the A'Whora vs Sister Sister conspiracy, and I kind of loved it! I also really enjoyed this challenge, I feel like they've had much better and more interesting challenges on the UK series than the American one. Also UK Hun is going to be in my head for weeks.

I'm picking my top 2 of the season as Lawrence Chaney and Bimini Bon Boulash. Veronica Green would have been up there for me as well, it's a real shame that she got sick and couldn't finish this season! I really really hope they bring her back for season 3!

Charmed reboot ep 3

I think the thing with Harry putting the bracelet on Mel was ugh but I like how she was totally on him about it. I’m wondering whether we’ll learn more about Fiona later. Also, oh no, this doesn’t look good for Mel and Nico.

Soooo Maggie’s glamour spell made everything in the house change back and no one at the party mentioned how impossible it was? Weird.

And interesting they’ve gone the glamour route so early. I wonder if it’s going to cause the writers issues later.

Poor Angela! She gets assaulted, forced into a coma, and now she’s the host of a demon. I hope the show highlights how terrible her story is. And wasn’t Angela the case the sisters’ mother was protesting? They have a connection to her, yet they don’t seem overly upset by what’s happened to her. Meanwhile, demon!Angela hears their mother’s dead and is like “Oh no. But it was so nice to see you! :D”

Nico should definitely not be talking about her homicide cases with her girlfriend, haha.

The virgin thing was a strange choice. I’ve heard “virgin blood” in witchcraft just means someone who hasn’t used their blood for a spell before. So why did they go this route? And I wonder how that’s going to impact Macy’s story, if it does at all. I’d like the show to at least spend an episode having her talk about it with Galvin before they get into bed, otherwise it was a throwaway thing, and I don’t like that.

PARKER. Fuck Parker. I hated him from the moment I saw him, and I hated him more when I heard his name was Parker (Buffy trauma). The fact he’s whatsis’s boyfriend is just the frosting on the angry cake.

I looooooove the candles, the herbs and flowers, the mortal/pestle, the cauldron, the witchy stuff. That’s what I come to this show for. That, and the sister love. I hope they keep it a central point.

i am someone who appreciates symbolism, metaphors, and shit like that in a love story, and ofc EVERY evak has it and they’re all beautiful but in my eyes france takes it to a new level with polaris. the whole hand thing while i respect your opinion is my FAVORITE part because it gives the scene so much meaning. its lucas showing eliott hes willing to overcome his own fears to walk into his world, to be with him. i’m sorry anon but that’s beautiful

i understand how cliche a kiss under the rain can be but the fact that its about a gay couple and specifically this gay couple is what makes it work. how many cliche scenes do you see with lgbt rep??? it’s like media thinks lgbt people live romance differently than straight people. that’s the whole point of it. it’s the same romance, the same intensity. (the reason why i point this out is bc axel and maxence said this themselves) they’re just both dudes. also come on some cliches are just still good. i love kisses under the rain

going back to cinematography, i absolutely looooooove the way the scene is filmed, i love the music and the way it’s played through the scene. i love the purposeful and actually very meaningful changes in lighting

they look so damn happy after kissing like smiling and hugging and i really havent seen that in any other of the scenes and that makes its way sweeter for me specially because we haven’t seen lucas that happy in like. the whole show and up until that moment we had barely seen eliott display openly any emotion (im not talking about subtle looks like how he literally heart eyes lucas, i mean actual emotion)

i think that sums it up, hope it explains well my perception of the scene? again anon don’t be scared of your opinions we all have our own, what makes me laugh is that the way you asked makes me feel like you’re fully aware of how in love i am with that scene and it makes me wonder how much do i show it lmao but have a nice day!

i forgot to add one of the most important reasons to me which is that unlike all the other scenes, in which even is the one that makes the first step and gives courage to isak to kiss him later, in this one theres just a lot of built up feelings and lucas just shoves all his fears aside and fucking Goes for it. adding to my whole explanation about their hands being a really beautiful part in the scene. when lucas actually goes for the kiss, it gives me literal chills because its like at that moment they were so connected and had such good chemistry, he had no doubt eliott wanted to kiss him just as bad, there was no faces becoming closer or mouth hovering over mouth, he just really went for it
