Not actually Skele!Dal's lore; I can only have so many versions of Dalex in one fandom, y'know, and SkeleDal's honestly more of a gag than an alternate self, at least right now =w="

This is more an attempt at a lore sheet; just slapping some stuff on the canvas and seeing how it turns out.

The setup for this "lore" is along the lines of the "multiverse meetup" works. Aka the ones where Sanses and Papyri (and the occasional Gaster) are inexplicably gathered in one universe (usually Classic's) and shenanigans ensue as the newly-formed Skelegang struggles to find a way to send everyone back home. While also trying to keep things on the DL regarding what happened. Gee, were there always so many skeletons???

Skele!Dal gets summoned as well, and while he's initially assumed to be a Papyrus that ended up alone, the Skelegang soon learns that he's not. Not a Sans or a Gaster, either, and one wrong move from one of the more... "aggressive" versions leads to the answer: he's a fuckin' Blaster.

The Skelegang has questions, but unfortunately their new "friend" isn't willing to explain very much. Mostly due to lack of trust, and also because he's just not much of a talker. Even Horrortale Sans is more chatty than this guy. And CHECKing him doesn't help much either, as it only shows his basic stats, but doesn't reveal his real name or have any flavor text.

Not wanting to go by some random word/color for a name, he chooses one himself: "Dalex." Why act as though "Dalex" isn't his real name, even though I've established that he is indeed a Dally? Good question.

He doesn't know. He's afraid of the answer.

He knows that "Dalex" was a good person.

That "Dalex" understood right and wrong. It was his strongest trait in life. It's why his SOUL was chosen in the first place.

But… what would be the right answer here? He feels like he's "Dalex." But is that really correct?

Is he really "Dalex" in a new body and new life, or is he just a husk stealing traits and aspects from the being used to make him…?

He doesn't want to steal. He doesn't want to disrespect the dead.

He… wants to be good. Do the right thing.

…What should he choose?

*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)

Maybe the rare month is a bit over $25 if there's something specific going on like birthday.#Which I'm NEVER eating in an actual restaurant (erm... covid... plus I just hate restaurant environments. i would rather pickup #the food and bring it home to a peaceful quiet environment that I control lol). But more typically like stopping by a grocery store deli #section or something. I don't have coffee that much. And I can't eat fast food much due to my health issues/diet restriction stuff #so if I'm out like coming back from an appointment and I start feeling really sick and weak. I do love drinks A LOT .. i am a drink person who will have 5 different drinks sipping on at all times #But i just have to make them all myself mostly lol #And I cant really have too much coffee since it will make me sick. so like.. teas and juice mostly #When I inevitably become a millionaire by never using social media never networking and only finishing one #sculpture every 5 months which I dont even post about or sell - then I shall... get more drinks..#I will somehow wean my body onto coffee and drink one a day solely for the ritual of it #Though even then... I would still probably just like.. buy the mateirals to make it at home or something #Like if you had a million dollars you could just buy a kitchen grade ice cream machine and other stuff to make your own milkshakes and #coffees and smoothies and bubble teas. Genuinely I think even if I were a BILLIONAIRE I would still look at playing likr $8 for a single #coffee and go .. uh.... I could just buy the equipment to make this and then save that money. PLUS. its in my house now so no need to #have to leave.
