Random Jackbox headcannons that I wanted to share.
(Possible trigger warnings ahead, prosied with caution.)
The first time Cookie hosted You don't know jack, he was terrified and could barely utter a word.
The YDKJ hosts are a squad and they hang out together.
Schmitty takes anger management classes
The Champed up host is Cookies brother and his name is Chip. (Like, chocolate chip cookie.)
Chip is kind of aggressive towards others when it comes to showing affection to Cookie. He will not hesitate to fight anyone who upsets Cookie (even though he's much smaller than Cookie and will most likely loose a fight.)
Cookie is robophobic and he believes in the conspiracy that highly advanced tech will kill us. (He can handle Iphones and smart watches, but not VR headsets and home assistants and especially AI.)
Nate is totally fine with this belief, as he has interviewed people like this on his radio show Truth Talk 23/7 and has heard much stranger.
The Binjpipe lady is an artificial intelligence female robot called the Artificial Binjpipe Intelligence of ABI (I know it's a terrible acronym but I couldn't think of a good one that spelt something similar to Aby.)
The only reason Cookie agreed to collab with Binjpipe is because Donny forged Cookie's signature on a contract behind his back hoping Cookie could face his fear.
It didn't work and Abi gaslighted Cookie in to thinking she resets him and brainwashed him into thinking he's code and that nothing and nobody he knows is real.
This causes him to neglect his own health, not eat, sleep, or take care of himself, and he eventually lost his mind. Abi planned for this to happen and intended for him to die of malnutrition.
Her plan was to collect data from the Jackbox hosts, put it on a chip, kill the hosts, then download a replica of them onto Binjpipe to put their shows on the streaming service. Aside from being morally messes up, this would've totally drained the life and comedy out of the shows and make them bland and boring.
Nate was suspicious of Abi from the beginning and asked people to send him any info on Binjpipe they could find on his show.
Nate, Schmitty, guy, and Buzz had to save Cookie and rush him to the hospital because by the time they where able to stop Abi, he was to week to even stand up and was incredibly mentally incapacitated.
When Cookie was released from the hospital, he was too week to walk, he barely spoke, and he couldn't think straight or remember anyone or anything. (Basically Cookie is not having a good time.) He's mostly better now but now he's kinda traumatized.
In fact, he was so traumatized that he quit trivia for years (At least until a new YDKJ comes out, if it comes out, and if he's the one who hosts it.)
[REDACTED] insisted on helping Schmitty and Raul (I ship Cookie and Raul) nurse Cookie back to physical health, mental health, and his memory when he was released from the hospital because the state Cookie was in reminded him of the state his mother was in before she died.
[REDACTED'S] Mother had Alzheimer's disease and Redacted helped be her caretaker and would sing her a lullaby she used to sing to him before bedtime. That song was the last thing she heard before she died and her death really hurt Redacted.
[REDACTED] doesn't support su***de, it bumes him out and makes him feel bad for wanting to kill the person.
[REDACTED] Is friends with Schmitty and Schmitty forgives him for torturing him, in fact he acts like it never happened. (Nobody understands why.)
Since [REDACTED] isn't allowed to kill the other hosts, he gives them the dolls he made, kills the dolls when they lose, and makes them stay in 'the looser room,' where they watch a projector screen of the rest of the game and eat snacks.
[REDACTED] Was genuinely hurt when he finds out that you aren't his mother because he was really hurt when she died, and really happy when you got the wig since he thought could see her again
The others heard [REDACTED] in the tattoos mini game, but they couldn't see anything. [REDACTED] purposely left them in the dark about it until they played the mini game to mess with them.
The host of the devil's and the details is a demon who changes his form into a human because his true form would most likely drive the others mad. Also his name is Stan
Stan sees humans as simpletons and he looks down on them. The only human he actually likes is [REDACTED.]
There's a cult related to Stan (Who's real name is Y'thogsomore, pronounced Yo-thogs-a-more) and he thinks the cult is pathetic for following him.
It was really awkward for Cookie to find out that one of his old cats is now anthropomorphic and a game show host.
Back when Mayonnaise was a normal cat, he would somehow change the channel on the TV to The Twilight Zone and watch it whenever Cookie fell asleep while watching TV.
Cookie is a cat dad.
Felicia was surprised to find out that none of the hosts were dating each other, so she threw a make out party to try to have set them up, it didn't work and she just made everyone uncomfortable.
She wasn't allowed to do that for a long time. She's now allowed to hold singles mixers, just as long as she doesn't be as pushy as the first time.
Glargan O'Toe is and Alien who wears a space suit while on Earth. He has one eye and he glows in the dark
Glargan O'Toe likes to go to Clubs and parties
Glargan O'Toe is good friends with Felicia, and they share a single brain cell.
Gene sees DODE as an angel since he's always sent to hell and he loves her.
Toby, Lena, The shadow master, and Rachel had to save Gene from a terrible co-worker relationship (I'll spare you the details but let's just say that my version of the survive the internet host is not a nice person.)
The host of Guesspionage (Whom I've taken to call "Andy") is dating the CEO of Binjpipe (who I like to call "Malefica.")
Malefica has a daughter named Petunia who hates Andy, and Any doesn't like her.
Chip always presents himself as a ride and immature little man who holds grudges too easily and will see you as dead to him if you get on his bad side, but he's a nice guy once you get to know him.
When Chip heard that Cookie quit trivia, he was like 'Well it's about time, all that trivia stuff was so lame." When really he was shocked and genuinely upset for Cookie
When Cookie and Chip where kids, they would do this cute thing where they'd dress up as the Snow miser and heat miser and sing their songs (Cookie was always the Snow miser and Chip was always the heat miser.)
I like call son of Mayonnaise and the Mother from monsters seeking monsters (and that's not me shipping something weird, that's actually cannon) is named Mustard.
I'm just gonna go out and assume that they adopted Mustard.
Cookie was not happy at the mother when he learned that she was seeing mayonnaise
Schmitty absolutely hated almost every show on Binjpipe.
Beatboxing and rapping is a hobby that Gene picked up.
Gene always gets nervous and awkward when playing patently stupid, wich is why he makes and presents strange inventions. Toby and Lena try not to judge him, but sometimes they're just too weird
The host of Bidiots is a total hypocrite. He judges and scolds the other hosts for being so weird and sometimes violent, when really he isn't really any better.
Cookie's hair used to be black. One day he dyed his hair brown, but left some spots black to make it look like a chocolate chip cookie.
That all for now. I may come up with more when other Jackbox party packs come out. I'm sorry if anything here triggered anyone.
#jackbox games#you don't know jack#binjpipe#quiplash#survive the internet#trivia murder party#patently stupid#mad verse city#again I'm so sorry if I triggered anyone#please don't get mad#please don't get me in trouble

Old Man, Old Meat
It’s important that you know how I found myself in this situation, as it’s not something I’m particularly proud of. Even I, being the shameless person that I am, had a moment where I thought to myself, “how did I get here?” I am intentionally vague with some of the information regarding this person’s identity to protect the disgusting.
I met this person through a friend; the same friend who helped me meet Personal Trainer. She was having a party with all her work friends, and invited me to join. Cut to myself in a tight red dress, at the bar getting a margarita for myself, and a drink for my friend. I was standing alone when a bald man sitting at the bar turned around and started spewing lines at me, such as: “Why don’t I know you? Why haven’t we met before? Why hasn't Friend told me she has a friend like ~you~ ?”
I’m familiar with this angle. Make me feel super special, veryyy unique, one of a kind, and like we were destined to meet. I have to admit, while I saw through the bullshit, I didn’t particularly mind it either. Compliment me all you want. No really; keep going.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t know who this man was. I knew exactly who he was. He’s the boss of my friend, president of the company, star of a reality show, and now, subject of my blog. Oh, and a quick Google search let me know his estimated net worth is around 50 million, if we’re being conservative.
I kept him at an arm’s length (both metaphorically and physically-- homeboy was handsy). He was a few inches shorter than me, which physically does nothing for me, but he was charming, and it didn’t hurt to have someone shower you in compliments all night. Between his unending praise and his net worth, I made the call to overlook a few (all) of these red flags.
After the party, he hosted an afterparty at his place. He flat out insisted that I go, plus my friends were all going. Mainly, I absolutely needed to see how extravagant his 10 million dollar house was. There has been TV shows made about this exact house in the Hollywood Hills. I. Must. See.
Every single one of his friends and high profile business clients were in attendance, even his parents. At one point, he pulled me into the kitchen to meet his mom (I was against it; he was adamant I meet her). This is where he went above and beyond. He introduced me to his mother, talked me up to the high heavens, and even added, “...and you’ll be seeing a lot more of her.” Let’s all roll our eyes together.
In my inebriated state, I knew it wasn’t a good idea for me to be talking to ANYONE. I had plenty to drink and it was beyond my bedtime. Any attempt at me leaving was met with whining (”Babe just stay a little longer” “Babe you know you can just sleep here” “Babe .... Babe!”) and after a while, I straight up called myself an Uber and said “my ride is here, I have to go NOW, goodbye!”
Immediately I get a text ensuring that I had gotten home safe, and detailing his enjoyment of our serendipitous evening. We made plans to get dinner the upcoming Monday. I felt uncertain: I didn’t want to lead this guy on, but I just had to see what upscale restaurant he would choose for us. Did I mention his pool has a fireplace in the middle of it?
I arrive at his house on time, anxiously awaiting to discover what plans he had made for us. Newsflash: he made no plans. He made no reservations. He asked me to pick out a restaurant from the following options: Tao, Nobu, Catch, Craigs, Katsuya, or Chateau Marmont. I was overwhelmed by choice, so he chose Craigs. Complete with paparazzi waiting on the sidewalk.
The dinner was generally uneventful - he sent a spicy margarita back more times than he kept it because it wasn’t spicy enough. I considered going to the bar myself and asking the bartender to make a drink spicy enough to give this old man a heart attack because I was appalled that someone sent back drinks at all. Food? Fine. But drinks? Multiple times? Seems like high maintence.
The following weekend we spent some time in his sauna and swimming in his pool and jacuzzi. The house was gorgeous, impeccably decorated, and oh yeah, his neighbor is Sam Smith. I knew this guy wasn’t good for me, but I like nice things and was hoping to go out to dinner again. Also, he acted as if he was obsessed with me, and didn’t really present the option for me to decline.
After swimming, he suggested dinner at his place. Fine by me. He told me there were some leftover chicken wings from a party he had thrown the night before, and he was going to make a salad. Again, fine by me. I’m easygoing... so I thought.
I change my clothes in the spare bedroom and join him in the living room a few minutes later. This is where things took a very drastic turn for the selfish.
This man was sitting on the couch with a salad. Yes just one salad. Just one bowl. With just one fork. For himself. Only. Immediately I knew he had no intention whatsoever of having dinner together; he wanted to have “dinner” for himself. I put dinner in quotation marks because his idea of a salad was spring mix and salad dressing. Thats it. Just sad lettuce and dressing. Honestly I was offended that he considered that a meal and spent a long time thinking about how sad that was.
As I join him on the couch, still thinking that there was an off-chance he would prepare more food, he puts on Game of Thrones. We previously had a conversation in which I told him I do not care for Game of Thrones. So I sit, and he says to me, “I know that you don’t like this show, but I put it on anyway, so maybe you can catch up.” It was season 8, episode 5. One does not simply ‘catch up’ at that point. In other words, he does not care for me or my interests in any way.
I sit through more GOT than I am happy about, and finally get up to forage in his kitchen. I thought if this man isn't going to feed me I will take the liberty of feeding myself. I call over to him to ask where he put the chicken wings he mentioned earlier. He walks over, and points them out.
There, in front of my eyes, was a platter on the center of his kitchen peninsula. It was picked over and dry, with the bones and scraps that others had left on the serving plate. This was clearly leftovers from a party, and seemed like the party had seen the best of it. In a state of shock, I try my best to politely ask how long had they had been sitting there on the counter.
“Oh, I don't know, maybe 24 hours?” he responded, nonchalant and unfazed, mouth full of old meat. He was so out of touch that he didn’t find it unusual to be eating from the communal bone pile. I am really trying my best not to be rude at this point (also: starving) so I slowly take one for myself and take a microscopic niblet out of the safest looking corner.
I made up a lame excuse about not being able to eat chicken wings with the bones still in them because that, of all things, grossed me out. Somehow, in my mind, that was a more appropriate response than “I don’t eat old meat that you’ve left out on a plate, unrefrigerated and uncovered, with the backyard doors wide open for a full day, with various other people eating from that plate, and with the leftover bones from those other people still on that plate.”
After that I made as swift of an exit as humanly possible. I was APPALLED. Here was this man, a single man in his 40s, CEO worth millions and millions of dollars, had staff who worked in his house and at his parties, able to live like a king, EATING. OLD. MEAT. I couldn’t wrap my mind around this. I thought that the salad was sad, but this... was something else.
The next day I texted him and told him simply that I could not continue to see him in a romantic way, but also understood if he didn’t want to be “just friends” either. To my surprise, his response was the he understood, and that it would be great to remain friends. Did I ever hear from him again? Ha.
Our paths crossed months later. I happened to be in the right place at the right time and we said hi. I asked how he had been and other pleasantries. We talked for a short while, then he asked what I was doing later on. "You should come over later. We could relax, I could cook us some chicken.”
It took all of the restraint in me not to ask exactly how old the chicken was this time around.

Through Time
Last Day of the Leather&Lace Romance Week hosted by @vorchagirl and @blueteaparty.
Day Seven: Soulmates/Destined to be together
Words: 1943
You sat in the café, flipping through the pages of your book and occasionally sipping on your coffee. “Hey, Y/N!” your friend Amy exclaimed, plopping down next to you with a huge grin on her face. You closed your book and raised an eyebrow. “Spill it,” you said, as she seemed to almost burst with excitement. “I think I found her,” she said, eyes shining. She pointed towards her arm, where the name of her soulmate stood out in dark ink against her fair skin. “I mean, Evangeline isn’t the most common name and yesterday someone with that name ordered a coffee.” You smiled at her joy. Amy was working at your local Starbucks, which caused her to meet many people. The name had appeared on her skin on her eighteenth birthday, just as it was with everyone. “Well, what did you do?” you asked and she rubbed her neck. “I didn’t want to scare her off so I wrote my name and number on her cup. I hope it works,” she explained, suddenly sheepish and you grinned. “If she finds it, I’m sure she will call or text,” you encouraged her before pushing your book into your bag. She propped her elbows onto the table and leaned forward, asking, “Any updates on your side?” You shook your head, glancing at your covered up forearm and emptied your cup. “I have to get moving if I want to catch my train. We’ll keep in contact. And keep me updated, alright?” you said when you stood up and she nodded before waving goodbye.
The train ride was without any exciting events and you stared out of the window while listening to music. After a while, your eyes trailed down to your arm and you hesitantly rolled up your sleeve, running your index finger along the letters on your skin. James. With a sigh, you covered it up again and shook your head. Amy had been lucky with the name she wore but you? It couldn’t have been a more generic name. Once you arrived at your stop, you left the station and looked around to find the car already waiting for you. The driver opened the door for you and introduced himself as Happy. After you started he looked at you in the rear mirror. “So, you’re the new genius Tony has found in D.C., hm?” he asked and you nodded slightly. “He contacted me after he had read my dissertation. I was honestly surprised,” you responded and he nodded. “Well, I suppose you’re gonna make a good addition to the team. I hope you don’t mind the long way.” You shook your head. “I just hope my luggage has already arrived,” you commented and after he confirmed it, the rest of the drive went by quietly.
The Avenger’s headquarters was even more impressive than what you had expected. You exited the car and looked around in amazement. A red-haired woman approached you with a smile. “I’m Pepper Potts. Welcome, Dr Y/L/N,” she greeted you and you shook her hand. “Please, call me Y/N. The title makes it sound so formal.” She nodded with a smile and gestured you to follow her. While you were walking and she explained your position to you, you looked around the building. Finally, you reached the lab you would be working in in the future. In there, Mr Stark awaited you. He greeted you and showed you around, then He and Ms Potts accompanied you to your quarters before leaving you to unpack. With a huff, you sat down on the sofa, processing everything that had happened. You phone vibrated and with a smile you picked up the call. “Miss me already?” you joked and Amy laughed on the other side. “Just wanted to know if you arrived safely. And what your first impression is,” she answered and you leaned back. “It is huge, overwhelming and I think I’m actually freaking out a little. My room is almost as big as my freaking apartment. I have a kitchen and everything. I think I still need time to process that this is real and not just a dream.” The two of you continued talking about this and that for a while before you unpacked and finally went to bed.
---
After a couple of days you had settled in and were working on whatever Mr Stark gave you. You had decided to cover up the name on your arm with makeup so you could wear short sleeves if necessary. You were just redesigning the communicators when someone knocked on your door. “Come on in,” you said, mind focused on the plan. “Dr Y/L/N?” someone asked and you turned, faltering a moment when you laid your eyes on your visitor. You knew who he was after getting a short input on all the Avengers’ members. Finally, you nodded and gestured towards a chair. “Yes but please, drop the title. I don’t like the formality of it. Just call me Iris, like everyone else. How can I help you Mr Barnes?” He sat down and sent you a short smile. “Bucky’s enough. I was hoping you could take a look at my arm. We were hit with an EMP and it has shown some problems since then.” You nodded and rolled over on your chair, scanning his arm promptly. As you leaned forward to study the scans on your screen, he spoke up again. “You don’t have a tattoo?” he asked and you looked at him surprised. “Excuse me?” The man cleared his throat and pointed at you forearm. “I’m sorry, it’s probably personal but I just noticed that you don’t have one.” You simply shook your head and turned towards the screen, typing something in. “I have one but I prefer to cover it due to it being quite common. Also, you don’t have one yourself,” you commented and he looked down at his left arm that was lying on the table. They always appeared on the left arm so after he lost it, the tattoo had vanished as well.
“Yeah but I still remember the name. Never found her though and she’s either dead already or close to it.” He sounded sad somehow and you turned to him. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to open up old wounds,” you apologised but he only shrugged slightly. “It’s fine. I just sometimes tend to imagine what could have been.” You nodded, understanding and pointed at the screen. “Seems like the blast fried some circuits. An easy repair but it might take some time. I suppose it isn’t made to be detachable, at least not after what the scans showed me, so you might have to put up with me for some time,” you explained and he sent you a short smile. “A sacrifice I’m willing to make. When do we start?” he asked and you stood up. “How about tomorrow? I wanted to finish up tweaking the communicators for today if that’s okay with you.” He nodded and tanked you before leaving you to your work.
In the next few days you frequently met up with him in your lab, repairing the insides of the arm piece by piece. You took your time to avoid mistakes and occasionally improved some details and also used it as an opportunity to get to know him better. You talked about a lot of things and after finishing your work, you had gotten quite attached to each other. He still visited you frequently, occasionally bringing you a coffee and a snack or you resided to your rooms to watch movies so he could catch up. One day, you were sitting on your sofa, a bowl of chips between you while watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. After the film finished, you turned off the TV and shifted so you looked at him. “Alright, I’ve been thinking about this for some time now, and tell me if I’m getting to forward but where does ‘Bucky’ come from?” you asked, genuinely curious. He laughed and put his arm up on the backrest. “My middle name, Buchanan,” he answered and you raised an eyebrow. “Is your first name better or worse?” you questioned with amusement in your voice. He shrugged and said, “Depends on your point of view. James is not as adventurous as Buchanan so it could come off as kind of boring.” That comment made you hesitate and you watched him intently while your right hand subconsciously covered the spot on your left arm. “What’s wrong?” he asked, noticing your sudden change of mood. You thought about telling him for a moment but due to the common nature of the name, you could be entirely wrong. “I just realized something and I’m not sure if I’m right or wrong. I hope it isn’t too personal but what name did you have one your arm before...?” you asked, gesturing towards his metal arm and he furrowed his brow slightly at the drastic topic change. You actually expected him not to tell you but then he sighed and looked at you. “Y/N,” he said and it felt as if you couldn’t breathe for a moment. “Why’re you asking all of a sudden?”
Instead of an answer, you rolled up your sleeve and showed him the name on your skin. His eyes widened for a second, then he looked at you questioningly. “Well, it is quite common, like you said when we first met,” he said hesitantly and you could understand it. After everything he had been through, he wouldn’t want any false hopes. You inhaled deeply then looked him directly in the eye. “Iris is a nickname that came from a silly misunderstanding and I kind of adopted it. And since people around here started calling me by it as well, I just introduced myself like that to you,” you explained and fumbled with your sleeve. “My real name is Y/N,” you finally added and he inhaled sharply. “Are you telling me that your name was on my arm decades before you were born?” He sounded doubtful and you shrugged. “I don’t know but I think it is more likely than me being some kind of reincarnation of someone, right? And there have been crazier things around here so is it that unlikely?” you said and he seemed to relax more. “I suppose you’re right. Still, it’s kind of a shock. I never expected it to happen anymore.” You smiled slightly and responded, “Yeah, well, I expected ‘James’ to be some kind of lame IT-guy. Kind of glad you’re something entirely different,” you joked and he nudged your shoulder. “Good thing you like what I have to offer. How about dinner tonight then?” he suggested and you smiled. “Sounds good to me but I didn’t expect you to be a gentleman.” He laughed and took your hand. “I’m from the forties, doll. I may be able to swear like a sailor but they still taught children manners back in the day,” he responded and your smile grew wider.
“Well, even better. But what concerns me is that I have to explain to my mother that my soulmate is as old as her dad because he literally was born almost a century ago,” you teased. He only grinned and you looked at him, before leaning forward to press a short kiss on his lips. He looked at you in surprise and you sent him a wink. “Well, I guess she’ll get over it. And it’s kind of exciting that destiny put us together through time,” you added with a smile. “Now, where are we going to have dinner?”

West Week Ever: Pop Culture In Review - 8/25/17
In movie news, there was quite the controversial casting this week, as the color lines blurred for some comic book adaptations. First up, it was announced that English actor Ed Skrein would be portraying Japanese character Ben Daimio in the upcoming Hellboy reboot. Now, according to what I’ve read, Daimio’s Japanese heritage heavily influences the character, so this whitewashing of the character doesn’t seem to be in the best interest of the character. I mean, after the problems with whitewashing in Doctor Strange, Ghost in the Shell, Aloha, The Great Wall, and Ni’ihau, you’d think Hollywood would avoid shit like this. Yes, movies are made to make money, but it’s not like Skrein is a bankable star worth slotting into the role, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Usually this is done for the film’s STARS. Damon, Johansson, Stone. This is a secondary character, so it really wouldn’t have hurt them to seek out an Asian actor. Normally I’m just like “Well, Hollywood’s gonna Hollywood”, but this decision just doesn’t make a ton of sense.
Next up, 24: Legacy’s Anna Diop has been cast as Starfire in Warner Bros’ Titans series, slated to air on DC’s upcoming digital service. Some folks are saying they should’ve cast a Latina, but she’s gonna either be painted or CGied in orange, so it’s not like it’s gonna matter at the end of the day. Personally, if they wanted authenticity, I think they should’ve cast an actual orange alien princess. Right now there are just too many unknowns for me to get excited about this. I mean, DC announced the digital service without a lot of information. What’s gonna be on it? What will it cost? How much of the DC library will be available to be housed on it? As for Titans, this is the show TNT passed on. Ya know, the home of such illustrious shows as The Librarians and The Last Ship. I mean, they’re basically just about a notch up from what we got in the 90s from Universal’s Action Pack lineup. If Titans couldn’t fit anywhere on that schedule, then it probably just isn’t “ready for primetime” yet.
Speaking of aimless Warner Bros decisions, they announced 2 different Joker movies this week. First up is an origin tale, directed by Todd Phillips of Old School fame, and produced by Martin Scorsese. Hmm, one of those things is not like the other. I mean, why would Scorsese touch something helmed by the dude who gave us Road Trip? And who even WANTS a Joker origin story? First of all, it’s reportedly not even going to be part of the DCEU, so why confuse the audience with a story that won’t even really “count” in the grand scheme of things? Nobody needs a standalone origin of a take on a character they’ll likely never see again. This is just as foolish as Sony’s Don’t-Look-For-Spider-Man-To-Appear Venom movie. Next, the guys behind This Is Us (SO hot right now!) and Crazy, Stupid, Love are working on a Bonnie & Clyde-style Joker and Harley film, with Jared Leto and Margot Robbie reprising their roles from Suicide Squad. Since this would sort of negate the empowerment that Harley gained by the end of Squad, it’s believed that this actually means that the planned Gotham City Sirens film, also slated to star Robbie, is now dead. Honestly, I could do without either of these movies. I found Leto’s take on Joker to be…interesting, but Less is More with that character. Plus, I don’t really think the DCEU would be strengthened by this sort of movie. It’s not the world-building they need to be doing right now, as they haven’t even figured out the core of their star characters like Batman and Superman yet.
In TV news, Christopher Sebela’s comic Heartthrob has been optioned as a TV series by Felix Culpa – a production company launched by actress/Elvis’s granddaughter Riley Keough. Now, comics are optioned every day, and the final product never comes to fruition, but I hope this series sees the light of day. I’m actually a big fan of the comic, which is published by Oni Press. Set in the late 70s, it focuses on Callie, who’s received a heart transplant while the process is still in its infancy. Given a new lease on life, but still told she’s basically living on borrowed time, she decides to change her life when she meets Mercer, a charming guy with a shady side. She immediately falls for him, and he teaches her how to be bad, like rob banks and commit other crimes. She gets off on the rush. Pretty soon, however, she realizes that Mercer isn’t real. No, he’s actually the ghost of the guy whose heart is now in Callie. So, it’s a Bonnie & Clyde story where Clyde’s calling the shots from the afterlife. The book is published in “seasons”, so the first 5-issue miniseries wrapped up back in early 2016, while season 2 is hitting stores now. If you’re looking for a new comic not from the Big Two, I highly recommend it.
youtube
In music news, Taylor Swift did a whole social blitz to announce that her next album would be called Reputation, and would be released Nov 10th. On top of that, the first single was released last night, with rumors that the video will premiere at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. Ya know, the same awards hosted my Taylor’s enemy Katy Perry. Yeah, that should be pretty interesting to watch. Anyway, the new song is called “Look What You Made Me Do”, and I’m not too impressed. It lacks a real hook, while the chorus itself is basically spoken. I feel like it has all the ingredients for a great song, but it’s not living up to its full potential. If this is an indicator of what to expect on Reputation, though, I’ll admit I’m curious. It can’t be worse than Perry’s Witness.
youtube
Speaking of Katy Perry, we got the premiere of her video for “Swish Swish”, which was reportedly her diss track against Taylor Swift. After a lot of backtracking and sucking up, though, it seems Katy wants to put that feud behind her. That’s why this horrible video does everything it can to take the bite out of a song that was never really that biting to begin with. I mean, just look at it – Molly Shannon? Terry Crews? Even Nicki Minaj was clearly CGied in, as I’m sure she didn’t wanna be anywhere near this shitshow. The sad thing about the Perry/Swift feud is that Katy bailed on it the minute she realized the Swifties were a more powerful lobby than she had thought. Nobody was feeling her SNL performances, and Witness didn’t exactly fly off the shelves. She realized that she can’t really survive by making enemies, so suddenly she became conciliatory to save her ass. Plus, it’s kinda lame that this blood feud started just because Taylor stole a few of Katy’s dancers for her tour. Anyway, you’ll never get those 6 minutes back. You’re welcome.
I had the pleasure of joining my buddy Zac for his new podcast, The Zac Shipley Show. He’s treating these first few episodes as pilots for ideas he’s wanted to try, so our ep was called Streaming Pile, where we talked about the worst things we could find on streaming services. I talked about a Star Trek: Voyager episode where formerly perky pixie Kes returns all middle-aged and bitter. You should check it out, and give a listen to his other episodes while you’re there!
Song of the Week
youtube
I’ve been a big Maren Morris fan since she released “My Church”, and I was really into her next single, “80s Mercedes”. With this song she continues not to disappoint, as I love the groove on this thing. Listen to the bassline. It’s not a dance song, yet you can do a MEAN two-step to it. Hell, I think you could even do a casual version of The Hustle to it. This will definitely go to #1 given time.
Things You Might Have Missed This Week
NBC’s planned reboot of Xena: Warrior Princess – which would’ve featured a full-on lesbian relationship between her and Gabrielle – is officially dead, as they said “it didn’t warrant a reboot”. Man, if only other studios would realize this about some of their projects…
Director James Gunn mentioned in a Q & A session that the 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy film would set up the next 10-20 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yup, you’re just now realizing your own mortality. I’ll give you a minute to deal with that.
Speaking of Gunn, he’s attached to write the pilot for (and possibly direct) a reboot of 70s series Starsky & Hutch. This adaptation is supposed to be similar in tone to CBS’s upcoming S.W.A.T. and not comedic in tone like the 2004 Ben Stiller & Owen Wilson movie.
Surprising every critic in Hollywood, Netflix has renewed the maligned comedy Friends From College for a second season.
Known for controversial publicity stunts, Alamo Drafthouse is reportedly organizing a Clowns Only screening of the new adaptation of Stephen King’s It.
We got a new poster for Thor: Ragnarok. So many colors!
Michael K. Williams has reportedly been cut from the Star Wars Han Solo film, as Ron Howard’s reshoot schedule conflicted with another role that Williams had accepted.
There are, like, 8 different Knight Rider reboot treatments floating around Hollywood, but the latest rumor is that one of those productions is looking at John Cena as Michael Knight, with Kevin Hart as the voice of K.I.T.T. Of course, it would be a comedic adaptation, a la the popular Jump Street franchise.
Super Troopers 2, the sequel to one of the most overrated films I’ve ever seen, will hit theaters April 20th, 2018.
Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson will star in Nasty Women, which is a female-led reboot of the Michael Caine/Steve Martin classic Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Independence Day: Resurgence‘s Jessie T Usher will star in Son of Shaft, with Samuel L. Jackson potentially reprising his role as John Shaft (from the 2000 reboot film), the nephew of the original John Shaft, played by Richard Roundtree, who is also in talks to join the movie. Man, that gave me a headache.

Always on the cutting edge, here’s Sesame Street’s parody of 2017’s song of the summer, “Despacito”
According to the creators, the Netflix series Stranger Things will most likely end after its fourth season
The actress formerly known as “Andrea Zuckerman”, Gabrielle Carteris, has been re-elected to a 2-year term as the President of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA)
Ryan Gosling will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, with musical guest Jay-Z, on Sept 30th.
Jamie Bell is developing a Jumper TV series, based on the 2008 film about teleporters
Suicide Squad 2 is reportedly being fast tracked, but I hope they fast track it right into the garbage. I mean, I enjoyed the first one, but I don’t need a sequel.
youtube
I like Nick Kroll, even though I never saw even a second of Kroll Show. Anyway, he’s got a new animated series about puberty called Big Mouth coming to Netflix and after watching this teaser I am ON BOARD!
We’re a month away from the premiere of Star Trek: Discovery, and it was revealed that it will be rated TV-MA, for Mature Audiences. Now, it doesn’t mean there’ll be tits and phasers, but it does mean they can tell more complex stories. That said, I still feel like they don’t truly understand the source material.
After a scathing essay from his ex-wife went public, accusing him of adultery and other generally shitty behavior to women, Joss Whedon went underground and the fan site, Whedonesque, shut down after 15 years.
youtube
We got a new teaser for Netflix’s The Punisher. With the rate I’m getting through these Marvel shows, I’ll probably get to it just before Evie goes off to Hogwarts.
There was a national solar eclipse this week, which was the first occurrence since 1918. I’m sure you might’ve heard something about it. It was kind of a big deal. Folks were pimping out special cardboard glasses on Craigslist for insane amounts of money, and the American President made news by looking directly into it. It seems that it had a strange effect on different folks. For example, Netflix viewership went down 10% as people went outside to view the phenomenon. Not everyone understood what was going on, bless their hearts. At work, a frantic parent called in and said “Y’all watching the news? You hear about this eclipse? Is it serious?!” Apparently she thought it posed some sort of danger to her kids and the school. No, ma’am. It’s just a beautiful sky ballet. Anyway, the eclipse was EVERYWHERE. I didn’t get to see totality, but it was still nice to stand outside for a bit on a nice day. What am I saying? I hate the outdoors! Well, it was nice to not have to work for a few minutes. You couldn’t escape the Eclipse Fever at the start of the week, so that’s why the Solar Eclipse of 2017 had the West Week Ever.

Dean Graziosi – The Real Estate Con Man
Scams aren’t a new thing. But I didn’t think they can seem so real. I used to be one of the firm believers in Dean Graziosi but this guy has lost all my confidence and made me realize that one should always think twice before trusting someone. He is a criminal who is targeting the middle class of America and if possible, other countries through his useless courses and schemes. He promises to make you rich but in reality, he’s only filling his pockets. His courses are nothing but a bunch of lame tips and his seminars, oh don’t get me started. He has a company, sure, but it’s full of rascals who have no idea on how to treat their customers or handle complaints.
I’ve fallen prey to Dean’s schemes already and I wanted to spread awareness about him. He has successfully created a fake persona and with its help, he is getting thousands of people to buy his low-quality courses. If you remember the old scams of ‘get rich schemes’ and ‘Nigerian princes’, think of Dean Graziosi as an advanced form of the same. I hope you’ll heed my advice and stay away from this sleaze. If anything, he’s a high-level criminal who has the money and the resources to run such a huge scam. He is fooling everyone. That’s why you should read this article further; it will open your eyes and reveal some of his darkest secrets.
Who is Dean Graziosi?
Before I start telling about Dean’s company and his schemes, let’s first discuss his life story. His bio, which is present on his website, says that he was born and raised in Marlboro, New York. He has an older sister and was raised mostly by his grandmother and mother. Now, to seem like a good guy and a hero of some sort, his bio adds, ‘his growing was no easy’ and ‘his family faced many financial problems’. Who are you trying to fool this way, Dean? Are we supposed to believe you came from rags to riches just like that, with a click? His story doesn’t end here, it states he had already moved 20 times before reaching the age of 19 and he never went to college. He’s trying to imply that going to college isn’t worth it. When everyone is scared of getting laid off and planning on upgrading one’s skills, this guy is implying that education isn’t necessary. But that’s not the red flag. The red flag is his entrepreneurial story, according to which, he bought his first real estate property before the age of 20. He got the deal through his clever mind and not with money. Yes, he says that he made the deal with no money down. That’s his personal story. His professional story is more attractive. Professionally, he has written multiple best-sellers including ‘Totally Fulfilled’ and ‘Be a Real Estate Millionaire: Secret Strategies for Lifetime Wealth Today.” This fact was the main reason why I got fooled. If your pockets are full of stolen money, you will not find it hard to sell many books. It’s all about marketing and Dean knows that. He is a shrewd criminal and that’s why he doesn’t get caught so easily. He claims that he is a real estate mogul but he doesn’t share much information about his real estate holdings company in his bio. However, he discusses his content production company in much detail. Why is that? Because that’s what gets him the money. There’s no proof of how many real estate deals he does in a year. Anyone can claim to do a lot of deals but if you can’t share any numbers or details, it raises some red flags. He simply mentions the name of his real estate management company, JBB Enterprises LLC. He doesn’t hesitate to flaunt his charity work. What I’m trying to say is, Dean Graziosi’s story has a lot of plot holes. He has created a fabricated story to lure people and trick them into believing that Dean is a genius. If you remove all the pomp and show, there’s no logical reason to trust Dean. The guy doesn’t have an education, there’s no proof of his professional experience and his sources of income (apart from his courses) are quite shady. I wish I had thought of these earlier but like any problem-ridden person, I was too distracted by his pomp and show.
Dean Graziosi stole my $2000!!!
Dean conducts seminars and events for real estate enthusiasts. His most popular even is the 3-day workshop or the Real Estate Investment Class. He charges $1997 for attending this event. Unfortunately, I fell for this scam. This erratic piece of crap is nothing but a bunch of useless advice and promos of his other courses and materials. This is how he’s earning all these big bucks. How do you think he’s able to run all these TV commercials and host these events? He’s stealing the money from normal people like you and me. The only difference between Dean and a low-level thug is the former is doing the crimes in a more sophisticated way and at a large scale. Initially, I didn’t consider going to his 3-day workshop. It happened when I thought of getting one of his courses. He has many attractive Real Estate courses up for sale and some books available for free. To get those courses, you first have to enter your credit card information. That alone was a big red flag but I didn’t think much of the same. After all, I was supposed to develop the habits of millionaires. Why would I care about such a little detail? This is where I went wrong. I got the FREE book from them. I read it, and it gave some general advice like work hard and stay motivated, just generic material. In the end, it was recommended to go to one of the seminars for a better learning experience. I thought the book was offered free so there must have not been much available. I chose to get a ticket for the 3-day workshop of Dean. When I went to the event I realized how pathetic it was. It cost me $2000 and what I got in return was promotions of more of his products. He gave some advice on real estate, I won’t lie but it’s all present on the internet. Go to a website or start reading a blog, and you will get more information spending your $2000 and 3 days for some useless lecture. Most of the time, the event was about all the other products you can purchase from this thief and get some more knowledge. I think for Dean, knowledge is knowing about his products. Buy this course, buy that book, that’s all you will get to hear in one of his events. I lost my $2000 and 3 days but I learned a valuable lesson: Never get anything without cross-checking.
Trashy Customer Support:
My problems did not end with his seminar alone. After a week of going to his seminar, I received a message that $300 were deducted from my account for purchasing the book from Dean. Yes, the free book they gave me cost me $300. I contacted the customer support of Dean’s website and asked for a refund. I hadn’t made any purchase but they still deducted the sum from my account. The customer support started giving me vague answers like ‘We aren’t aware of any purchase’ and ‘We’ll get back to you sir’. Those morons thought I was a fool. I was already frustrated with the $2000 workshop which just games a load of crappy and useless advice. I had to call the customer support multiple times and I can’t recall how many times I was ignored. Whenever I would ask to connect with a superior, they would just put me on hold and make me wait. I rarely got to talk to a senior executive. And when I got the chance, they said they will look into the matter. But I never received my refund. They wrongfully took money from my account and didn’t give me the money back. Dean Graziosi’s whole company is based on scams and lies. I’m not the only customer who has faced this issue. Many others have faced this problem as well. Some wanted to cancel their purchase of the event ticket while some hadn’t even bought anything. But they all had to pay Dean’s website for the fake purchase. I found a complaint where the customer wanted to cancel the ticket for an event right after purchase due to an emergency. Can you guess what they did? They never gave him a refund. Dean’s website is a FRAUD. And he isn’t stopping. In fact, he is continuously working towards building his fake personality and fooling more people into buying his useless crappy tools. Instead of attending any one of his seminars or getting his worthless courses, you should buy a real book from someone who is qualified enough and knows what real estate really is.
Using Social Media to hide his crimes
I have already mentioned that Dean is a shrewd criminal. He knows how to trick people into believing his fake stories and false claims. But to do that, he needs to attract them first and he does so through this social media presence. He has a strong following on social media platforms. He posts rarely on twitter but without any effort, he has over 10,000 followers on this platform. A similar situation is present on most of his social media accounts. That begs the question, “How is it possible?” My guess is, he is using bots and fake accounts for showing a good following. Everyone believes the guy who has over 10,000 followers. He has published many fake reviews for his products and seminars too. There is no clear way to verify the reviews present on his website. But as you drift away from his site and platforms and go to other places, you will begin to multiple other users who are sick of this guy. He has stolen money from rich and poor alike. People who didn’t even have $50 in their accounts were charged $100 and more only for enrolling on his website. I’m not the only victim of Dean and his vicious schemes. But through his fake persona and social media presence, he is still able to convince other people that he is a reliable expert. Instagram
He has over 350,000 followers on Instagram because he is very active there. Dean doesn’t hesitate in spending some bucks for social media promotion and his Instagram profile is a fine example of the same. He has a link in his Instagram for free training. That’s his first bait to get people trapped in his scam. He posts content on Instagram regularly for the sake of his reputation. He knows that if he doesn’t spend enough money for his fake persona, he would get destroyed within a few weeks. Twitter
Have you ever seen how a bot-operated twitter page looks like? If you want to then take a look at Dean Graziosi’s page. His Twitter profile has over 10,000 followers and more than 5000 posted tweets. But none of them provides any value. They all are promotions of his books and courses. That’s it. If you want to fill your Twitter feed with photos of Dean and his books, then be my guest. You will keep seeing the links to his low-quality BS-filled YouTube videos and updates on his latest books and courses. If you think his Twitter page will help you get any real estate advice, you’re wrong. Facebook
Facebook is notorious for its fake accounts and Dean’s Facebook is a live example of the same. Here, he has over 1.5 million followers. With that many followers, he can be considered a strong social media influencer. The reality is, they all are fake. This scumbag has been using fake accounts to show that he has millions of followers. What does he get from faking his followers? More money. When you see a guy with over a million followers, you don’t think twice in paying him money for anything. The person seems trustworthy and Dean takes advantage of this fact. Take a look at his Facebook page and it’s full of crap. You will not find anything of value except some shitty nonsense about motivation. YouTube
YouTube is a little more strict than Facebook in terms of removing bots. So the guy who has over a million followers on Facebook only has 30k subscribers on YouTube. That too, when he has over 500 videos present on his channel. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Dean puts a lot of effort to seem like a real expert. He doesn’t want anybody to even get a hint that he is a fraud and a cheat. And for this purpose, he is spending money generously because he gets to steal from everyone who gets allured by these fake numbers. Some chumps might think that Dean Graziosi is a trustworthy guy because of these numbers alone. I was one of those chumps and I still regret my decision of buying those useless tickets. His social media presence is his main tool for tricking people into thinking that he is a trustworthy guy. If you will take a minute and check the kind of content he posts first, you will realize that it’s not worth spending your cash on. You will see that he posts spammy, useless and shitty content on all of his social media pages. And even after publishing such low-quality content, he is able to generate these many followers. Some might say being on TV helped him but still, his content quality is so bad that if you ask a social media expert, you will see that Dean is a FRAUD and his followers are false.
Reviews of his courses, books and seminars:
His website can fool anyone. It fooled me so you can understand how annoying it is for me to know that his website is still up and cheating many other innocent people. You will find the links to all of his social media accounts on his website, which I told you about and how they show that he is a sham. You will also find his courses and books which you can purchase. I had downloaded his Millionaire Success Habits ebook which was available for free from his website. I hate to admit it but I was also cheated by the glitz and glamour of Dean’s website. On the home page, you can clearly see many books available for free but to get them, you will need to provide these thieves with your credit card info. They won’t you charge you immediately for the books, they are smart. They will charge you later and deduct the amount directly from your credit card. This is how they took $300 from me and similar amounts from many other people. I am discussing some complaints from other customers to show you that Dean is running is a scam on a large scale. No Refunds:
One of his customers had posted a review stating that he never received a refund for a bought course. Dean’s company had promised him the refund but even after waiting for 3 weeks he did not get a penny back. Dean’s company is fast in taking money from your pockets but it returns the same to you. Not only that, they did not respond to any of his queries after the request for a refund. You can see how pathetic these guys are and why you should stay away from them. Automatic Deduction:
Another customer lost around $40 due to the same reason I lost my $300. She wanted to check the website and get the free book. But for the book, she had to enter her credit card info. They charged her $40 and that caused her an NSF fee. She did not receive a refund from Dean’s company as well. Lying:
Another customer had posted that he attended the ‘Millionaire Success Habits Seminar’ in 2018 to listen to Dean. But Dean was absent. He did not speak at the seminar. Instead, there was someone else. He was promised on the site that Dean will be speaking in the event. They had charged him $997 for the event and they did not give him any refunds. One customer was disappointed with the quality of content he received in the courses. The material wasn’t updated and most it was just a compilation of his old YouTube videos. You can see that Dean’s scam has affected many people. This is the situation when he keeps posting fake positive reviews for his products and service. It’s clear now how low Dean can go. Because he steals money in terms of $40 or $300 so no one suspects him. His credit card fraud must be put to a stop because if he isn’t stopped now, I don’t know how many lives he will ruin the future.
Conclusion:
Dean Graziosi is a criminal who is doing scams on a large scale. He is lying to thousands of people internationally and tricking them into buying his useless courses. All of his seminars give the same old rubbish advice and provide no value to the visitors. His fake positive persona and social media presence help him in luring people and cheating them. I have already lost over $2000 to Dean’s company. His customer support is pathetic and doesn’t process any refunds. Numerous people have voiced their concerns over the presence of this criminal and he should be put behind the bars. Dean constantly lies about everything and it won’t be new if he keeps lying in the future. Both he and his company should be banned from operating in our country. He is a vicious criminal and such a step will do a lot of good to society. If that can’t happen, then the least you can do is stay away from this guy and save yourself. Should he be allowed to ruin lives like this? Why isn’t anyone taking action against him? Share your experience here if you have been a victim of Dean’s greed and selfishness. Read the full article

-Originating in Spain and Portugal, churros are a sweet pastry.

-T2: Judgment Day is the second movie in the Terminator series. They are science fiction action movies.

SHAWN: No, don’t be ridiculous. You need to go home with your child. Relax. Take a load off. Refresh yourself. January, I think January. Come back in January.
-This episode was the mid-season finale, so this is a hint that Psych won’t be back on until January.
