so i think we as a fandom agree that if someone Erik cares about got sick he'd absolutely fuss over them but lately i've been thinking about why he would do this and i came up with something i'm Not Normal About so y'all need to hear me out now

he'd been in a concentration camp. he had probably seen so many people die because of a common cold 'cause their immune systems were so weakened by the fatal conditions in the camp they couldn't fight it off. as a little boy he'd learnt that the moment you get sick you're already dead, and every time someone around him so much as sneezes he's reminded of all the deaths he saw that were caused by something seemingly so innocent as a cold.

so anyway this is all i can think about. i'm literally going insane. me and my friend are also writing fics on that

hello m lord, i adored your holy ghost comic, it was very good. i saw you said that oscar and noel are not going to be romantic in it which made me a little sad but it’s your comic so ofc do what you want. can you say a little more about how you see their relationship? thank you!

Honestly I want to keep with the theme in malevolent of highlighting and exploring the depths of platonic friendships. They have a lot in common and yet so many differences and I think they’d play off of eachother really well. Both of them trying to heal from their shared experiences with Arthur and their separate experiences that haunt them and pull them back. like I’ve said, it’s trauma bonding with a side of monster hunting (… okay maybe it was the other way around but this is what it’s turning out to be). but like !! maybe this comic will unfold in a way that makes sense for them to end up romantically involved!!!! it’s not my initial intention, but we’ll see!!!
