Hey I saw you’ve been watching c3 and I just started watching it and had a question if that’s ok. I’m only like 1 hour into the first episode and it seems like there might be spoilers for c1/c2 in it and Reddit isn’t all that helpful. Idk if you’ve watched the first 2 but should I watch 1 and 2 first or just keep going with 3?

Hey!! I’ve watched C2 but not C1! There are indeed many world things in 3 that overlap with 1 and 2, but they’re explained and unfold as if they were new info, so you don’t NEED to watch the others to fully understand and enjoy C3! I think there are a lot of ppl currently watching 3 that haven’t seen the others, so you’re def not alone!

There’s some little things in C3 that I personally find more enjoyable having watched C2 (and my friends who have seen C1 have things similarly) but they’re totally not necessary to understanding or enjoying! I’d say if you’re liking C3 just keep watching it!! Each campaign is different characters and different times, so while the world lore overlaps and some events play out on grand scales over time, each campaign is it’s own individual story!! Though if you’re trying to avoid ANY spoilers for 1 and 2, there are some little things that get mentioned but not like gone into detail about. Most of it is either works things that get introduced as if they’re new concepts, or easter egg nods back to the previous campaigns.

This seemed to have been longer than 200 years ago, in terms of the way the world both of the glade and beyond it were described. What part did wizards play in any of that!?! Like citadel did NOT create that desert.

Unless of course this was happening in tandem to whatever fuckery the citadel was wreaking perhaps on the forests edge

SO MANY THINGS !!!

Starting off with I love cool down on beacon. I’ve always wanted to listen to them just talk after the episode and it’s so fucking nice to see.

BUT THE EPISODE fearne almost fucking died and her father ?!?! I’m so interested and scared to see where that goes. He could have done anything but the mirror ??? Like holy shit actually that was such a moment thank god Orym followed her.

ESSEK HOT BOYYY I guessed it right away and I’m so happy it’s him. I’m not done with C2 yet but I absolutely love it and ofc him. I cant wait for the conversation with him and Astrid ALSO ASTRID ?!?! I will admit- me not being done with C2 does mean I was spoiled on a few details but honestly I kind of expect it like I started with the last campaign. Either way I’m looking forward to the conversation they have and the dynamic that Astrid and Essek show.

Dorian is back! Everything is great! This episode had a lot of great moments. I cant wait to head into Aeor I just kind of got passed I think most of that arc in C2 (I’m pretty sure they go back) so all the questions I have I can immediately get from C3 and that’s kind of awesome. A little cheating in a way because I won’t have to wait years to know what A? Mark is but hey!

Ughhhh i tend not to be the doomposting type but like . i have to say. as much as i love her design and how insane her animations are and just her as a character. arle being just another pyro on field dps that desperately wants bennett (near 30k dps loss without him according to some calcs apparently) is just..... like theres actually a part of me that would rather just wait for the pyro archon as the desperate last bid that instead of pyro on fielder number 17 she might turn out to be that mythical honest fucking bennett sidegrade (no upgrade lol theyll never powecreep him) and then id have an easier time considering arlecchino 😔 but now its just like. idek what id even get out of her gameplay wise unfortunately

man just going to share a little thought piece but. i was going through my old critical role textposts and was just hit with a wave of nostalgia :) i was obsessed with cr during a really hard time of my life where i barely had any friends so i really devoted myself to it because i had nothing else to do. like rereading the liveblogs of the campaign 2 finale made me emotional because when was the last time i was that excited over a piece of media ?? and i had no mutuals or irl friends that were into cr so i was just. pouring my heart out in those liveblogs?? i think thats part of the reason i was never really able to get back into cr when campaign 3 came out. because i was in such a different mindset and my life was so different (lots of studying + a new job + my training getting a lot more frequent, so not as much free time).

i started c2 a week before the school year began, so i find it really accompanied me throught all of it and made me happy, even though it sucked ass. and i didnt expect to like it since i dumped c1 after 20 episoded during quarantine !! little did i know

like for context when i was catching up on campaign 2 i would keep the yt video on and listen to it while preparing for school in the mornings and before my judo sessions and during car/bus rides i would listen to the podcast and keep the timestamps marked down additionned with the ad breaks and the intro at the beginning so i could go right back to where i was. like i listened to the caleb beacon reveal in its entierety during a three hour car ride to my grandparents.

a core memory for me is watching the twitch stream on a school night and being as quiet as possible (my parents room was right above mine) so that i didnt wake my parents up/let them find out i was awake. i was playing fnaf irl. also school getting cancelled or having no school in general fridays was so exciting because that meant i could stay up and watch all the stream!!! i was like this for TWO YEARS.

the mighty nein still mean so much to me i tear up when i think about them too long. cant wait for me to go to school with 3 hours of sleep when the next m9 one shot comes by because thats what happened at the last one

Apologies for this “break week” thought. So BH seems to be aiming for the “monument” in the Feywild, hoping for help from Mori. VM could be teaming up with the M9 to deal with the Exandria monument. Leaving… maybe the Crown Keepers and the Darrington Brigade to go to the Shadowfell? With the Arcana Pansophical split between backing them all up? This sounds like an ideal strategy, which means it’s probably not going to happen.

i never even thought about splitting up the player parties to target the different planes, but that is a GREAT plan!! having other groups attack simultaneously would force the forces protecting the machines at those places to scatter. personally i think a better split might be BH going to the feywild, arcana pansophical to the material plane, and M9 to the shadowfell, with VM split up between them. VM are so powerful individually that having them shuffled around could fill in weaknesses in the other groups, plus VM has experience in both the shadowfell and the feywild and could serve as guides.

im not 100% sure if the material plane monument should get targeted in this theoretical multi-attack, since that seems like the place where everything will go down in the end and would need all of the power of the whole army there. plus, i assume the cerberus assembly is hanging out there, which is Super Dangerous for any group to tackle alone

aahh!! im so hyped, we didnt really get this sort of giant strategy stuff in c2, and just a little in c1 during the conclave arc. i cant wait

I need better excuse and justification to get into coffee Hello. In short, I need help to justify my next purchase for coffee stuffs that might seem a little too much for those who don't appreciate coffee.Let me elaborate by telling about myself. I'm a 30+ man from south east asia. So far I have been into countless hobbies, which i've spent considerable amount of money, effort, and time either learning or socializing. I'm living with my partner. We do care about each other, that's why she don't want me to recklessly spend tons of resource for something i wouldnt care much about in just several years or even months. And i do agree with her, as im getting older i cant just spend my life on something i only like just for a while.As for coffee, i'm pretty sure i won't get into the rabbit hole. Coffee would never be a hobby to me. It's just something basic that i like. Almost like basic necessity. If i must compare, perhaps coffee is like shoes, or TV. I don't need to delve in it or have the best thing like $2,000 shoes for every occassion or 100" OLED 144Hz TV. Having decent thing that works should be enough for me. I just recently figured out how good coffee could be, and would love to be able to drink coffee the next time i wan't it. Seems not too much right?Here are the list of next purchase that i thought are basic and humble enough to be in my kitchen for years ahead:- basic aeropress. we could bring them along when traveling or hiking. not taking a lot of space. unbreakable and lightweight. i could buy them for around 40 USD here but i guess i have to wait until my birthday since she might not know what else to get me as present cause i already have everything i want. i've also looked at aeropress accessories, and seems nothing caught my heart yet.- basic stove top gooseneck kettle around 3-8 USD. that's bottom cheap and irreplacable for making decent coffee right?- timemore C2 at 37 USD. i'm not even going for the C3 or other better grinder. i thought if i'm going to brew for the rest of my life, then i might as well buy a hand grinder that supports sensible grind adjustment, decent enough grind uniformity, could last for years, and replacable burr. still more practical than table top electric grinder i suppose.- cheap coffee scale under 10 USD. i'm familiar with kitchen scale, heck i love them and use them whenever i can. but whats annoying about making coffee on my kitchen scale is that sometimes they dont register changes when i pour beans, and sometimes they turn off by themselves. i am bless with great memory and math logic, but for under 10 USD to serve me years of practicality im not asking for much right? coffee scale doesnt take much space either.It might be just me, but as a guy who tends to get into taking up lots of hobbies i have a hunch that she could bring up my home brewing activities into later argument in despise. I got pre hipertension as well, from insomnia and vaping. I have thrown away lots of my belongings, as our place are somewhat cramped. ?! 3 cutscenes in like, under 10 minutes?! scaramouche ?? crap i should probably reread the inazuma archon quest's plotline on the wikia... need to recontextualize scara's identity. and i keep forgetting the fatui's the overarching antagonist of the game. that was so cool though. also katheryne getting impaled was uh, really unexpected

finished act 3 goddamn the girls are fighting. so far i rly love the concept of the akademiya and how it's where the sumeru charas intersect and that theyre all estranged from it lmfao. i wonder if by the end we're able to overthrow the sages and restore the institutionalso i used my free fate from the quest completion rewards and i got xiao. woohoo! not interested in future banners so ive been wasting primos on xiao because i think itd be funny if i got his c6 in the long run. my boy's at c2 now. i got his c1 on his very first banner in 2021. ive waited too longthat means ive won 50/50 8 times in a row. yoi, tighnari, ganyu, cyno, nilou, xianyun, xiao... ah, i hope furina's kind to me

- i really like the dehya-candace-alhaitham-cyno gang going on

- cyno defaulting to punishment as a recourse is so interesting i wonder if they ever explore that loophole in his character? this is comes from a subjective standpoint but i dislike punishment as a means of discipline or a resolution to conflict. some charas who are even more severe like childe who kills as easily as he would breathe because he's a weapon of the abyss have reasons to be morally gray

- but for cyno it's like ? yes he wants to restore justice especially when an already disenfranchised group is criminalized and exploited by the akademiya but that's an institutional issue that cant really be solved thru individual punitive measures no? the scene w dehya and eremites and cyno immediately going "we should.. [beat them up]" kinda reinforces his character for me haha. i think him exiling himself from the akademiya is a good start but he still holds like, systemic values as general mahamatra.. it's interesting. alhaitham imo outclasses him in wit and judgment just cuz he operates so rationally. hes the most perceptive one in the group, everyone yields to his observation. cyno is too impulsive to assess his decisions no matter how tactical they seem

- while alhaitham is calculative and cyno is punitive and certain, dehya is really adaptable. her being an eremite kinda puts her at an awkward spot in this situation but she doesnt really place loyalty in her affiliations, so among everyone shes got the strongest moral backbone.. uses her knowledge for good. shes really cool. maybe real commitment.. is the friends we made along the way.. 🫶 kinda like alhaitham except nicer hahaha

oohhh i'm finally starting act 3... sumeru archon quest is actually quite interesting but maybe i just havent played g3nshin in so long that past archon quests are muddled in my memories and so the current one is a lot more appealing

but in my time away from this game.. i realize the quests now are a little different..? h0yo implemented small changes like slightly cinematic scenes and camera angles that make quests register more as a film. it's not very interactive, as past and current g3nshin quests usually are, so it's not necessarily a huge improvement but i appreciate it. i can just autoplay and do chores hahaha

anyway ive mentioned this before but playing the game now is so much more fun because im not in the fandom and am behind like 2 years of community talk aka theories drip marketing etc.. i genuinely dunno any of the sumeru charas and esp the fontaine charas. who tf is the hydro archon. also got jumpscared by dottore in act 3 LMFAO i had NO IDEA HE EVEN HAD AN IN GAME MODEL THATS NUTSSS. cool ass cutscene though

i needed someone to talk to about CR so tumblr it is since i dont have friends... its about C1 btw so spoilers ahead if you havent seen it!

i just finished the chroma conclave arc and holy shit i loved it!

everything about it was amazing, the npcs, the battles, the relationships blossoming and fading, the fear of every citizen that was under one of the dragons ruling, just everything, spectacular!

raishan? my favorite villain! i cant fucking wait to see her animated in the show when we get to it! the way we got to talk in a relatively friendly way with a villain makes everything about that villain greater than when you just get an evil character and everyone is like "theyre evil so thats why we have to defeat them"

also loved feral keyleth when she learned about raishan being the one to open the portal leading to the destruction of the fire ashari and then when raishan revealed herself... i just really wanted her to go ape shit right then and there...

also the fucking feywild???? holy shit it sounds like an amazing place and id love to explore more of it... and ARTAGAN??? love that fey bastard so much and i cant wait to see him again (havent seen c2 yet but i know who he is)

the twins finding love is also something i hold dear to my heart... vaxleth and perchalia are so different and yet they both make my heart grow wider whenever they have soft moments together...

grog and pike friendship continues to be the best and i wish ashley couldve been there all the time... OH AND THE GUESTS! i love every guest pc relationship we got during this arc! kerrek my beloved! he was such a great influence on them, specially on keyleth and i will cry whenever i think about the ring...

and last, but definitely not least, scanlan, this motherfucker made me cry so much in these last episodes... i cant fucking believe i ended up liking him so much to the point that id be crying about him leaving... ngl at the beginning i didnt like him very much but he slowly grew on me and then i watched "A Bard's Lament" and he comes and yells at everyone (rightfully so imo) and im here just mouth agape, tears streaking down my face with the best performance ive seen from sam the whole campaign (so far)

well fucking done sir, his mind is brilliant sometimes and i cant fucking wait to see what more he comes up with for tary, whom i adore so much already after knowing him for one episode (and a few one shots ive seen already)

vox machina are great adventures and im excited to watch more and get to the episodes i have not seen anything about and get context for some of the clips i have seen before... love these assholes!

Extremely lucky it's not even real. He got a five star on the beginner's banner

Fast farming. He probably will complete all the quest and become an endgame player within one month

He's really good with whatever he's doing. Attack combo, dodging, elemental reaction and all sorts of stuff. If he invest more of his time on artifacts, he would probably even one shot it!!

Kyojuro : he wouldnt even know the existence of this game. Well, he took a glimpse of it one day and boom, heart stolen. Maybe it was the fiery burning passion in bennett that made him play the game.

Kyojuro's the type of player to read and pay attention to every single lore of his fav character. Bennett, oh my how he wish he could've had bennett in his team. Every wishes he made would make him a c6 bennett main if only barbara wont stop coming home

The highest con of bennett he had ever gotten is probably c1. One day the paimon's bargain shop offered bennett as their monthly character. Kyojuro had never been so excited over a game before. He usually perks up over academics and not this kind of thing. But it's bennett, the character he admires the most.

Unfortunately he couldnt get it due to low currency. He had never feel so sad in his life.

Type of player :

Carefully reads every stories and listens to their lines attentively. He finds it amazing how the company spent their everything on this game. It amazes him. From the stories, lores and lines, he truly appreciates it.

Balance his team pretty well. He mains bennett so he doesnt need that much of a healer in his team.

Enjoys bennett's hangout very much!! He tried to not get him killed by the dungeon's trap but ended up having to sacrifice him which ultimately ends the route. He had never felt so down and guilty before.

Not much of a damage dealer. He prefers to play it in normal mode and doesnt care that much about one shotting monster.

He feeds his character three meals a day!! If only there's a sleep option, he would be sending bennett to sleep first before the rest.

Everyone loves his teapot

Shinobu : found the game while she's scrolling through the app store out of boredom. Initially she played it on her phone but due to the fps and a really bad ping, so bad that douma wouldnt find her interesting anymore, she finally downloaded the game on her pc where things has starting to get real

My man cant dodge after he got zhongli. Its very painful because he used to studies the enemies movement in the early game so that he can utilizes it on the team but zhongli's shield is so tank he forgot that dodging exists

Uzui also plays honkai impact and guns girl Z so when he saw the unknown god at the intro , he was not surprised.
