Hey I saw you’ve been watching c3 and I just started watching it and had a question if that’s ok. I’m only like 1 hour into the first episode and it seems like there might be spoilers for c1/c2 in it and Reddit isn’t all that helpful. Idk if you’ve watched the first 2 but should I watch 1 and 2 first or just keep going with 3?

Hey!! I’ve watched C2 but not C1! There are indeed many world things in 3 that overlap with 1 and 2, but they’re explained and unfold as if they were new info, so you don’t NEED to watch the others to fully understand and enjoy C3! I think there are a lot of ppl currently watching 3 that haven’t seen the others, so you’re def not alone!

There’s some little things in C3 that I personally find more enjoyable having watched C2 (and my friends who have seen C1 have things similarly) but they’re totally not necessary to understanding or enjoying! I’d say if you’re liking C3 just keep watching it!! Each campaign is different characters and different times, so while the world lore overlaps and some events play out on grand scales over time, each campaign is it’s own individual story!! Though if you’re trying to avoid ANY spoilers for 1 and 2, there are some little things that get mentioned but not like gone into detail about. Most of it is either works things that get introduced as if they’re new concepts, or easter egg nods back to the previous campaigns.
