There's this meme going around where someone yells at an obedient other, "Down, Boy!" Like scolding a dog. Well cats don't really do that if they even obey... But it is kind of exhilarating (in a hilarious way) to see Hyoga put in some sort of place.

Stop Functioning When Receiving a Kiss on the Cheek

Ginro. Okay so he’d probably ask for it, but still never see it coming. He stops functioning. Like falls on his face if you ACTUALLY kiss his cheek. He tries to walk off to brag, and legitimately trips and eats shit.

Chrome. A blushing mess. Can’t talk. He’s just staring at you now. Eventually, he tries to talk, but he stutters a bit as he asks you what that was for.

Kinro. Doesn’t know what to do with himself. Did you just kiss him…? It was the cheek, but still. He’s never really had anybody do that so… he’s blushing and doesn’t know what to say.

Senku. He’d stop dead in his tracks. And that might not be because he’s nervous. Could be. If he likes you, his face loses color and he’s just stunned. If he doesn’t like you, his face loses color too, but he immediately starts complaining.

Francois. They’re shocked. They hardly ever break their professional butler persona (persona? Nah, just their lifestyle atp) but this one time… they blush a bright red. If they return the feelings, they might just sneakily give you a kiss on your cheek too once they calm down.

Tsukasa. Hear me out. He’s touch starved. He’s not one to lose his cool though, but admittedly, he stumbles a bit. He doesn’t show it too much, but he’s nervous.

Gen Asagiri. Ah yes, so great at acting and pretending, yet he fails miserably to act cool. His cheeks go red for a moment, but he pulls himself together fairly quickly to tease you.

Hyoga. He’s shocked, but he doesn’t show it at all. Maybe his cheeks get a little pink, but he does not fumble. He probably asks you what you did that for, depending on who you are, it may be laced with danger or may not.

Ryusui. He might just immediately pull you into a full blown kiss tbh. He’d tell you he loves you. He’s not scared. And he’s not lying either.

(A/N- I may like Hyoga more than I thought. Half of this is totally self indulgent o-o)

Hyoga

- He’s not very touchy in public. In fact he discourages it.

- The first time you tried hugging him in front of your peers he moved away from you and tried to subtly pry you off :/

- Which is rude, Hyoga understands that. He made it up to you later on in private.

- Since that day he’s been vocal about how much he doesn’t like it. Hyoga communicates very well and knows what he doesn’t like. Being honest is key and he’d rather not hurt your feelings again.

- He also won’t kiss you in public. Any show of weakness is a no- go :| Hyogas got a few enemies stacked up and wouldn’t want them to use you as leverage if they find out how much he cares.

- After some time you might be able to convince him to hold hands ^-^ but that’s as far as he’s willing to go.

- In private he’s softer. Will let you hug and kiss as much as you please, especially refusing you the whole day.

- Sometimes he’ll come up behind you and rest his chin on your head. He’ll listen to you yap on about your day.

- His favourite thing is to lay on top of you

- Hyoga will have just gotten back from a tough day of training and see you- chilling out, minding your own business laying on your shared bed.

- You don’t look up from what you’re doing, too engrossed in your project.

-“I made sure to take some extra food for you. Francois made pizza and brownies, it should still be warm.” You say, gesturing to said food on the side table.

- Ever since Francois has been revived the food has been amazing. Of course you couldn’t help yourself from stealing a little extra for your boyfriend after his training.

- Hyoga doesn’t pay any mind to the food and instead pulls off his feathery cloak and joins you on the bed. At first you think he’ll simply pull you into his arms and spoon you but no, he lays on top of you.

- He pushes the blanket off that’s separating you and lays his head on your stomach. He craves skin to skin contact.

- “What are-“

- “I don’t need food.” Hyoga mumbles. His arms come up to wrap around your waist and pull you closer, if it’s physically possible. “I need you.”

Senku Ishigami

You called him a Leak.

He’s confused, but then looks in the mirror and… holy shit you’re right.

He’s offended, but like brushes it off.

“Focus” he says, turning you back to your work.

He thinks it’s strange thought when you don’t call him by his name even to others.

Eventually, he realizes you must not remember his name.

He couldn’t care less tbh. Maybe you are bad with names? Thats common enough he really doesn’t dig.

Gen Asagiri

You called him “nightshade”

It’s his favorite flower so he’s not fazed.

Oh, not the mention it means “liar.” And he’s the world’s best.

Eventually, while watching you, he realizes you don’t call him anything but it, so he subtly tests you.

He works to push you towards saying his name, and you really just don’t seem receptive.

Eventually, he’d subtly pry your reasoning out of you when he notices you call everybody plants and vegetables.

He finds out that the amount of different plants in the nightshade family reminds you of his two faced nature and helps you remember him.

He finds it interesting.

Tsukasa Shishio

He was confused when you called him “Rosanne”

Did you think he was a woman…?

From Gen, he finds out that you might be referring to a Rosanne Brown Lisianthus since you call everybody by plant names.

Gen says he doesn’t know the reason and shrugs, shaking his head as he walks away.

You later tell him it looks like a rose and it’s got a beautiful brown color sometimes.

He gets it now… his hair color!

Takes it as a compliment because the flower sounds pretty the way you describe it.

Hyoga Akatsuki

You called him “cauliflower”

He’s confused?

He’s not… a vegetable?

Are you calling him as weak as a mere vegetable? He’s not, so???

Genuinely, he’s confused.

Takes it the wrong way.

Gives you an eye smile and nods, but then straight up walks away from you.

He over hears somebody talking about your odd nicknames for every one and it clicks that you must be remembering him that way. Cauliflower is white… so is his hair. Okay…
