कब आयेगा मेरे बंजारे :- भाग्यनगर बनाम हैदराबाद ?

जब से योगी जी हैदराबाद गये है तभी से सम्पूर्ण भारत मे एकबार फिर से शहर के नाप पर चर्चा गरम है । यूँ तो अनेकों किस्से-कहानियों को हैदराबाद शहर समेटे हुये है लेकिन एक बात तो तय है कि हैदराबाद नाम ही उस शहर की असलियत नही है। आइये खोजते हैं उद्गम स्थल !

बात उन दिनों की है जब यह भूभाग गोलकोंडा के नाम से प्रख्यात थी । वही गोलकोंडा जहां पर कोहिनूर और ना जाने कितनी बेशकीमती हीरे जवाहरातों ने भारत देश की समृद्धि में चार चाँद लगा दिया था । इतिहासकारों की माने तो चौदहवीं शताब्दी में वारंगल के राजा ने गोलकोंडा दुर्ग का निर्माण करबाया था जिसे बाद में बहमनी शासकों ने हथिया लिया और इसका नाम गोलकोंडा से बदलकर मुहम्मदनगर रख दिया और फिर उसके बाद यह दुर्ग 1580 ईस्वी में कुतुब शाही के अधिकार में आया । हमें यहीं तक पहुँचना था ताकि भाग्यनगर को ढूंढा जा सके ।

कुतुब शाही शाशकों की राजधानी गोलकोंडा या मुहम्मदनगर तब तक बनी रही जब तक इस घराने में कुतुब कुली शाह का जन्म नही हुआ । खैर 1565 में घराने ने एक चिराग को जन्म दिया जिसका नाम इनके पिता इब्राहिम शाह ने कुतुब कुली शाह रखा । पढ़ने लिखने में बहुत ��ी होशियार थे । पिता के आकस्मिक निधन के बाद मात्र 15 बर्ष की आयु में सन 1580 में सिंहासन पर बैठ गए । ज्यों ज्यों किशोरावस्था से युवा अवस्था मे प्रवेश करने लगे शेरो-शायरी करने लगे , विद्वता बढ़ने लगी, यहाँ तक कि 1590 ईस्वी आते आते कुली साहब अरबी, फ़ारसी, तेलगु, उर्दू के प्रख्यात विद्वान हो गए । लेकिन अचानक राज्य में प्लेग आ जाने के कारण लोग हजारों की संख्या में मरने लगे । इन्हें लगा कि यदि गोलकोंडा में और अधिक समय तक प्रजा रही तो सभी मारे जाएंगे । और यहीं से सुरु हुआ हैदराबाद शहर की खोज ! जल्दि ही मुसी नदी के किनारे जगह मिल गया और वहीं पर एक नया शहर बनाने का निर्णय लिया गया । ये मुसी नदी कोई और नदी नही बल्कि उसी कृष्णा नदी की उपनदियों में से एक है जो बंगाल की खाड़ी से मिलती है । भारत का इतिहास जानना हो और नदी का जिक्र नही तो समझिए आप सत्य जानने से चूक गए । संछिप्त में बस यही समझीये की मुसी नदी के किनारे वर्तमान हैदराबाद और कृष्णा नदी के किनारे वर्तमान विजयवाड़ा । और भी बहुत कुछ है लेकिन लेख को भटकाने का मेरा कोई इरादा नही है ।

कुली शाह ने ईरान से शिल्पकारों को बुलाया और इस तरह मस्जिद , चारमीनार निर्माण करबाने के बाद कहा जाता है कि राशिदून ख़लीफ़ा जिनका नाम अली इब्न अली तालिब उर्फ हैदर था उनके नाम पर इस शहर का नाम हैदराबाद रखा ।

कुछ अलग अलग कहानियों में से एक कहानी और भी है कि कुली साहब को बगीचों , नदियों , प्रकृति से अधिक लगाव था । वे शाम को मुसी नदी के किनारे टहलने जाया करते थे । वहीं बैठकर क़सीदा, मर्शिया , ग़ज़ल इत्यादि लिखते भी और अपने दरबारियों को सुनाते भी थे । वहीं आसपास में एक दिन किसी लड़की को देखा जो अति सुंदर और अनमोल गाती थी । वह लड़की बंजारन थी और नाम था भागवती। कुली साहब इश्क़ में पड़ गए और उस लड़की से निकाह कर लिया । निकाह के समय भागमती का नाम बदलकर बेगम हैदर रख दिया और उन्ही के नाम पर शहर का नाम रखा - हैदराबाद । यह तो मुझे एक कहानी प्रतीत होती है , हो सकता है आप इसमें से कुछ सच निकाल संकें ।

बहरहाल जो भी हुआ हो लेकिन मेरे इस लेख को लिखने के पीछे उद्वेश्य कुछ और ही है ।

आपने एक बात पर जरूर गौर किया होगा कि गोलकोंडा का नाम बदलकर बहमनी शाशकों ने मुहम्मदनगर रख दिया था । यदि इस नाम को देखें तो पाते हैं - मुहम्मद +नगर । एक अरबी और एक संस्कृति । क्या हो यदि इसमें से से नगर को हम हटा दें । ऐसे और भी उदाहरण भरे पड़े हैं । मुजफ्फरनगर में से नगर को हटा कर देखिये , अलीगढ़ में से गढ़ को हटाकर देखिये ! गढ़ तो चंडीगढ़ में भी सुहागा है और अलीगढ़ में भी । शहरों के नाम भी उर्दू-अरबी-फारसी-हिंदी को समेटे हुये है शब्दों की तो बात ही छोड़ दीजिए ।

इसपर किसी को प्रश्न और शंशय नही है कि संस्कृत के शब्दों में किसी उर्दू या अरबी शब्दों का संगम है । सभी को पता है कि भारत मे जितने भी शहरों के नाम हैं वे अरब आक्रमण के बाद ही बदले गए थे जिसमें कुछ अस्तित्व में हैं और कुछ मिट गए । बात बस ये है कि जब अरबी शाशकों ने नामकरण किया तो कैसे हिंदी-अरबी को सम्लित और मिलाकर एक अमर नाम दिया । ये बड़ी बात है ।

शहरों के नाम बदलते रहेंगे , और यही होता भी आ रहा है लेकिन जिस तरह से दो समुदायों के बीच में गुंजाइश को सभी मध्यकालीन शाशकों ने स्थान और सम्मान दिया उसे कोई ना छेड़े तो भारतीय परंपरा को कभी आंच नही आएगी । यहाँ के हिन्दू मुस्लिम में कोई भेद नही है । एक दूसरे से इस कदर गूँथ चुके हैं कि इसे अब कोई अलग नही कर सकता है । यदि एक को अलग करेंगे तो दूसरा अपने आप मर जयेगा और यदि दूसरे को अलग करेंगे तो पहला भी नही जी पावेगा ।

धार्मिक उन्माद और मजहबी कट्टरता करनेवालों ने इन दोनों समुदायों के बीच मे फुट डालकर बर्षों से इन्हीलोगों को आपस मे लड़ाया है । वे तो सुरक्षित घरों में रहे लेकिन लाखों आम नागरिक हिन्दू-मुसलमान के नामपर मर-कट गए - चाहे वो 1947 का विभाजन हो या अलग अलग समय पर दंगा-फसाद , मरनेवाले वो कभी नही रहे जिन्होंने दंगा सुरु होने से पहले माइक पर चिल्लाकर आवाज दी थी- हम नबी के दुलारे हैं, मौत से नही डरते, हम खून की नदियां बहा देंगे या हम राम के भक्त हैं, महाकाल के भक्त हैं , हम तांडव करेंगे तो त्राहिमाम होगी ।

कभी तो तर्क लगाइये , एकबार सोचिये की अपने आप हमारे मुँह से निकल जाती है - मानव, आदमी और इंसान । ऐसा कोई हिन्दू या मुस्लिम भारत मे नही जो इन तीन शब्दों का प्रयोग ना करता हो लेकिन फिर भी पता नही किस अंधकार में जीते हैं । एक को भाग्यनगर बनने में रस है और दूसरे को हैदराबाद में । भाईलोगों ये आदमी शब्द आदम से बना है , इंसान ईसा से और मानव मनु से । चुकी इस्लाम ईसाई और यहूदी का ही एक सम्लित परिवार है कुछ अंतर के साथ इसलिए इंसान शब्द में इंशा भी है । अंत मे यही कहूंगा कि कोई राजनेता कुली शाह या गफ्फार खान या सुभाष चंद्र जैसे आपको दिखे तो उन्हें समर्थन दें । सच तो यही है कि नाम चाहे कितना भी कोई सरकार बदले उस से किसी को कोई मतलब नही होना चाहिए । मतलब ये रखिये की नाम की आड़ में वह नेता आपके दिमाग के साथ ना खेल जाय अन्यथा वही होना है जो वे चाहते आ रहे हैं । दंगा !

अंत में कुतुब कुली शाह का मकबरा नीचे आपके लिए और एक विनय यदि आप इनके द्वारा लिखे - कुल्लियात पोथी में से कुछ ग़ज़ल, मर्शिया या क़सीदा पढ़ सकें । अपने भारत मे असंख्य हीरे हैं , जो भी मिल जाय रख लिया कीजिए - भाग्यनगर या हैदराबाद ।

Capítulo 26 Ascendiendo a las Alturas:Gloria a Dios en los Himalayas (Noreste de India) por Frank Fortunato y Ken Davidson

El pueblo final que visitamos fueron los totos, también ubicados en una región remota muy próximo a la nación de Bhután. En ese tiempo opresivamente expulsados de ese país, los totos casi se extinguieron. Ahora suman como 1200 después de haber disminuido a 460. Nos sentimos honrados al conocer a varios nuevos creyentes y pudimos grabar un par de sus cantos de adoración recientemente compuestos. Poco después de que nuestro avión empezó a descender, una auxiliar de vuelo nos dijo que miráramos a la izquierda. Para nuestro deleite, con claridad vimos el pico blanco del Everest sobresaliendo sobre las nubes. Momentos después aterrizamos en Bengala occidental, muy arriba en las montañas del norte de India y no muy lejos de la exótica ciudad de Darjeeling, para empezar uno de los proyectos de grabación más visualmente imponentes e históricamente significativos de Heart Sounds International (HSI). 

En noviembre del 2005, a nosotros, Ken Davidson y Frank Fortunato, cofundadores de HSI, se nos unió Bob Eden, un hombre cristiano de negocios de Georgia. También nos acompañó Nancy Hudson, iniciadora de iglesias que servía en África del Sur, y su “hijo espiritual,” Jonás Mangena, ahora pastor de una iglesia surafricana que crecía muy rápido. Nuestro coordinador local era Dilip Dutt, líder de la iglesia de India cuyos padres fueron pioneros de la Cruzada Evangelizadora de India ( IEC, por sus siglas en inglés). La IEC había tenido un impresionante principio siguiendo una visión que mostraba la cara de Jesús elevándose de los Himalayas y una voz que decía: “Yo tengo a muchos de mi pueblo escondidos en estas montañas. ¿Quién irá a buscarlos?” El padre y madre de Dilip, recién casados en ese tiempo, respondieron. Esa visión los mantuvo fuertes por décadas, resultando en 155 iglesias y 9000 creyentes conocidos, incluyendo nueve orfanatos y quince escuelas. 

Nuestro proyecto HSI empezó cuando Nancy Hudson nos llamó para preguntarnos si consideraríamos ir a Calcuta para grabar la música de Dilip Dutt, diestro guitarrista y compositor. Dilip prefirió, más bien, que el HSI vaya arriba de las montañas para grabar los cantos únicos de adoración cantados por el compañerismo IEC. 

El día en que llegamos, dos resistentes jeeps de India llevaron a nuestro equipo de cinco y nuestra preciosa carga de equipo de grabación digital de audio y vídeo subiendo por los Himalayas a nuestra primera parada, la población de Tagdah, donde está el orfanato Joybells. 

Nuestra primera corta noche de sueño fue acortada más por el hermoso canto de los huérfanos a las cinco de la mañana. De inmediato descubrimos el horario casi monástico del orfanato, que bendecían el comienzo y final de cada día con tiempos de adoración. Los niños entonaban en su dialecto nepalí cantos de adoración casi en perfecto unísono, aun cuando los cantos eran ricamente ornamentados. 

El templo del orfanato fue nuestro estudio temporal de grabación, con frazadas y cortinas proveyendo aislamiento de sonido (típico de la mayoría de proyectos de grabación de HSI). Cuando empezaron las sesiones de grabación, los niños cantaban con soltura y facilidad, y rápidamente se grababa la letra, acompañado por tambores sencillos, guitarra y varios instrumentos locales. 

Los niños entonces se cambiaron a sus vestidos de danza, salieron al patio, y el equipo de audio se convirtió en equipo de vídeo, grabando varias hermosas danzas. 

Además de los niños, el equipo de HSI también grabó algo de adoración de adultos del área. Uno de los pastores de la IEC, con un equipo de músicos, caminó varias horas para llegar al orfanato para su sesión de grabación. Sabiendo que el HSI también estaba grabando vídeo, el equipo se vistió con su vestido nacional para la grabación. 

Después de la visita a Tagdah. Fortunato y Edén se fueron a la sede de Operación Movilización India en Hydarabad para hacer los preparativos para otras grabaciones de HSI para los niños dalit (anteriormente “intocables”) que estaban siendo educados en cincuenta centros educativos dalit que auspicia Operación Movilización India.

Mientras tanto, el equipo de grabación fue a otras partes del noreste de India, grabando a varios grupos de personas asociados con la IEC. En casi todo lugar los habitantes dieron la bienvenida al equipo a su población con danza y procesión, y luego lavamiento de pies y rociamiento de agua; rituales del área. 

Una de las sesiones de grabación incluyó a los oraón que son originarios de África. El pastor Jonás se conmovió profundamente por su herencia común expresada en los tambores, danza y canto. También tuvo el gozo de dirigir a diecisiete personas a hacer consagraciones espirituales en una de las reuniones. 

El equipo luego viajó por varias horas a una parte remota de los Himalayas para visitar a los lepchas, habitantes originales de esta parte de India. Algunos momentos novedosos de audio y vídeo se grabaron conforme los creyentes, usando instrumentos de cuerda y ritmo hechos a manos, adoraron y danzaron, rodeados por la majestuosa belleza de las montañas y los valles. 

Luego el equipo de HSI viajó por las selvas de carreteras agudamente difíciles al estado de Assam en el noreste de India, lugar que ha experimentado mucha adversidad y opresión por muchas décadas. La gente se quedaba mirando con curiosidad al primer africano negro y primeros misioneros blancos. En las últimas tres poblaciones remotas el equipo fue los primeros extranjeros que visitaban esas regiones. 

Por varios días Ken y el equipo grabó a los pobladores cristianos regocijándose en el Señor con sus cantos y danzas nativas. El sufrimiento y dificultades que han sufrido estas personas ha producido profundas expresiones de total abandono al adorar al Dios que ha llegado a ser su vida y sustento. 

El pueblo final que visitamos fueron los totos, también ubicados en una región remota muy próximo a la nación de Bhután. En ese tiempo opresivamente expulsados de ese país, los totos casi se extinguieron. Ahora suman como 1200 después de haber disminuido a 460. Nos sentimos honrados al conocer a varios nuevos creyentes y pudimos grabar un par de sus cantos de adoración recientemente compuestos. 

Debido a que el equipo estaba trabajando en una región tan remota y sin electricidad, Ken intrépidamente experimentó grabando con su computador portátil y accesorios sofisticados digitales, todos funcionando con la batería del computador o baterías externas. A su vez, había que recargarlas durante la noche. También, estuvimos listos para usar la batería del coche, si fuera necesario. Asombrosamente, ¡hubo suficiente electricidad en ese equipo de alta tecnología para grabar sin ningún tropiezo! 

En total el equipo grabó 24 pistas en nueve dialectos, incluyendo nepalí, talmang, lepcha, oarón, rabha, santhal, bodo, assamés y toto. Fue significativo que el proyecto del Himalaya incluyera tanto audio como vídeo, puesto que cada grupo proveyó formas auténticas y antiguas de música y danza, completa en su medio ambiente natural de la montaña. 

Al partir de los Himalayas, el gigantesco Everest nos asombró de nuevo en toda su imponente majestad; trasfondo para comprender lo que acabamos de experimentar. Habíamos tenido el privilegio de descubrir una de las partes más ocultas del planeta en donde la gente no sólo ha aprendido a vivir en las alturas de las montañas, sino que también ha aprendido a expresar adoración humilde y con abandono que asciende a los cielos. Desde las altas cordilleras de la tierra Dios en verdad levantaba alturas de adoración global.
