i’m not talking about dew’s new behavior as though it’s disappointed me, to be clear. i’m just venting about a very common and natural behavior that some dogs display sometimes, and that is very genetic and inheritable, and that is an issue in many multi-dog households, and that is trainable. i am still very happy with dewey and he is still exactly what i wanted. corgis are highly food motivated and dew especially is. and he lives in a home with 3 other dogs who are used to taking resources from each other, shrugging it off, then coming to me for more cause their brother took the other one they had! somewhere along the way we likely didn’t do what we needed to prevent dew from feeling like he needed to guard from his brothers, likely because it wasn’t an issue the first month he’s been here. dogs are living things and animals and i never expected dewey to be perfect all of the time (: (but he’s still perfect to me)

#personal #like of course he is. he may have ended up a corpo boy but deep down he is nothing like that #he used to go out to smoke with friends in places they weren't supposed to be #got into so many fights when he was young and he was a boxer like jackie... they trained with viktor for a long time together #when vitali was in college. and it's always been about community and connection to him #even now as a fixer he's putting his resources towards his mercenaries and their families #and to the fixer council so they can use the collective income to keep streets safe for regular residents of night city #he's got a whole program running to support businesses that are trying to make heywood more accessible to those without a car #and organizations focused on making life in night city better for children specifically so they have safe places to hang out with friends #if he was really a corpo boy he would've set up his office in city center somewhere. or like. charter hill #would've barely cared about his mercenaries and would DEFINITELY not have helped with creating the fixer council #none of his mercenaries have died. like obviously people get injured but none of them have ever died and like #it's all because he makes sure that they have all the resources and gear they need to succeed at the gigs he gives them #which makes me so insane he cares so much and he's running his business SO professionally but in like. such a human way #like yeah his skills as a corpo come in super handy for what he's doing here and he's absolutely using them to his advantage #but that's all he's using them for. corpo boy on the surface but lover at heart

Canon Design by Missd76 (Formerly KD476)

Indiana started out as a original character for a series of TTTE fanfictions known as "On Beyond Sodor" back in 2009. He was going to be the main protagonist (other than Thomas) of a story known as "Wounded Heart". He had a bio, but it is unfortunately lost to time. We don't have much on him, the only information we know is from art drawn by the artist. Indiana comes off as a sad character who has been possibly a victim of severe bullying, causing him to be distrustful of anyone and a little suicidal at some points. He also half blind, due to an accident with a saw blade striking him in the eye. He became more humanoid due to the artist losing interest in TTTE as a whole to the point where he became separate from the TTTE franchise. He has had multiple designs throughout the years.

For this first one, I decided to draw the version of Indi that appears in this art. (I cannot draw engines, I can barely draw humans as it is!) Indiana appears to be very simple in design, with few colours and a white complexion.

Moving on to the next box, we have another HC design of Indiana made by TTTEFan1. This version of Indiana is possibly more similar to the original personality of Indiana. This version of Indi was made by them for KD476's request but then was placed into their fan story "The Princess of Voice". This version I do really like. It's quite a step up from the original design, and I took some elements from her design into my design for him, like the red eyes and the hairstyle.

My (Headcanon) Design

And now finally, my design for him. This is the humanoid design I'm sticking with in my little series. I was really inspired by TTTEFan1's design and the design of WBC U-1146 from the anime, "Cells at Work". U-1146's hairstyle really inspired me to give Indi the same hairstyle. I fleshed him out quite a bit with his story. His story is still quite sad, but I turned up the angst notch to 11 for him. Another thing you may notice about my design is he's Asian. I kinda liked the idea of him be Asian (Japanese to be specific), so I decided, why not? I kept some things from the original bits the character owner gave him like his personality, the accident that left him half blind, and his saw staff (from a crossover with Shugo Chara and TTTE).

Took some inspiration from U-1146's outfit and Indi's original jacket and created this. (He has a knife and cargo pants underneath his jacket and stuck with the red and white theme he's known for.) Humans don't exist in my universe, so instead we have robotic humanoids (inspired by D:BH a lot) and felines. I have posted a tiger version of him, but not an updated humanoid version.

one thing that will be helpful in distinguishing ai art from real art: currently, ai art is racist and fatphobic

#i don't mean that the artworks themselves are those things #but ai currently cannot comprehend Black and fat people #humans generally can #but because of racism and fatphobia there are far less resources for ai to pull from for Black and fat art #so ai always spits out something that's been slimmed down and whitewashed #even if not completely #it was devastating for me to see an acquaintance of mine feel like she wasn't pretty unless she put herself through one of these things #but that made me realise this stupid fucking computer can't comprehend a fat person #and someone put a photo of a Black woman through the AI and it spat out a lighter skinned anime man #ergo: the algorithms are trained on racist and fatphobic biases and therefore are racist and fatphobic #i worry eventually the ai will generate decent looking hands.#but i suspect it will be a lot longer. if ever. for ai to generate images depicting Black and fat people.#thanks to the biases of a racist fatphobic society that have carried over to the AI.#- nyx (they/she)

Not enough AI criticism out there that brings up just how fucking bad it is for the environment. Like all the art and writing theft, consent violation, collecting of personal and sometimes even HIPPA protected data, and labor issues should be enough to slam dunk it into the trash, but ON TOP OF ALL THAT it's also consuming massive amounts of water and electricity just like blockchain bullshit.

#AI SHIT SUCKS!!!#i can count on ONE HAND the amount of uses for it ive seen that justify its existsnce including:#powering a robot that controls sea urchin over population #helping SCUBA divers be safer by analyzing their stats and listening for nitrogen bubbles in their blood #and i think maybe some AI voices could be really nice for screen reader technology if they were made for that purpose #with the consent of the training data providers #but like #most of the time AI models are only worth it when its for something HYPER SPECIFIC that a human either cant do #or it eould take an unreasonable amount of time energy and resources for a human to do #instead were getting fucking money hungry buisness assholes trying to cut corners and save on labor #with no regard for the human or environmental cost #just like fucking always
