",you closed the door before turning back to your new school

You walked up to the staircase and sat down across a skinny boy, wearing probably school merch,and his hair was sticking up some how?,you were about to grab your headphones and phone but then you felt someone tap your shoulder,you turned back to see a teenage girl,poofy hair with a purple and yellow headband pulling it back with some of it was out,she was wearing a green cloak-,ok enough of the description let get on with the story, " I'm Soleil,I'll be showing you around the school what's your name?",you put your stuff away before saying,"I'm Y/N L/N,I just moved here with my Uncle Lou",you said why zipping up your backpack and put the strap over your shoulders,before then saying,"so uh....Tour?"

"Oh yeah follow me!" Soleil started walking you towards the entrance

'Ok,Y/N just keep it under control'

"if you'll follow me,that's the science room,that there us the other boring classes", Soleil said as the pointed towards the rooms," That's cool Soleil,uhm......maybe do you wanna hang out during lunch?,i'm just really anxious and you seem like a nice person so...yeah?",Soleil turned to look at you and said,"Yeah sure why not?",Soleil turned around and kept talkin while Y/N's mind was going:YES one friend required'

Hey y'all!!! Go watch Fright Krewe for spooky season

It hits so many great marks as an animated series.

It's a lovely show for the family especially for the kids.

The characters are well developed.

The way it is inspired by and treats Voodoo as a religion with it's own place in Louisiana culture is well done.

The main villain isn't even from Voodoo which is refreshing as well.

The art style and animation are great.

It's of a New Orleans/Louisiana inspired setting is so lovely.

It creates horror without excessive gore or violence.

If you got Hulu or Peacock, then go head and stream it.

Had anyone else watch these shows?

First one Is Fright Krewe it on Hulu came out in 2023 and it still going, has two seasons and it about Soleil Le Claire and her friends. accidentally breaks a spell on the Tree of Life and unleashes an ancient evil. The spirit of Marie Laveau, the voodoo queen of New Orleans, puts her and four other kids in charge of saving the city from Belial, an ancient demon who feeds on fear.

Second Is daybreak it shows from Netflix 2019 and it about a high school outcast Josh is searching for his missing girlfriend in post-apocalyptic Glendale with no adults because they got turned into zombies, but teens did not. He's joined by a group of misfits Angelica and his former bully Wesley and on the way, they'll face many weird things. It had only one season before it canceled which sucks because it had an amazing but goofy plot , and I wish it got a second season.

If you love spooky stuff and monster high, fright krewe is perfect for you, it got good story, is interesting lore and is both scary and funny

The show is by dreamworks and is definitely not for little kids, is for more older audiences like teens

Main characters are likeable and diverse

myths and legends are inspired from new orleans

As for lgbt, so far soleil (fire girl) got two moms and represention is casual

To support the show is on both Hulu and peacock

There’s a show that comes out October 2nd on Hulu and Peacock called FrightKrewe. It’s basically about this girl and her friends who are gifted powers from powerful spirits after the mc, a Black girl, accidentally wakes an evil spirit that her ancestor locked away. It’s set in New Orleans too, so I don’t know about anyone else but I’m sat.

Update: I just wanted to add some more info about this. Fright Krewe is an animated horror series and it was made by DreamWorks.

Hey people really need to check out Fright Krewe on Hulu and Peacock! It's this spooky animated series set in New Orleans that can get surprisingly dark and scary for something aimed mostly at younger audiences. Binged it all this morning, and I highly recommend!
