Midnight occult civil servants, has a very similar vibe to all the others in this list but I’ve never met anyone who’s seen it so it’s pretty obscure. The mc Arata Miyako becomes a type of civil servant whose job it is to clear up conflicts between yokai, angels, fairies and other mythical creatures, referred to as “Anothers”, living in the city so they don’t become an issue for the humans. He’s just the newbie of the team except he’s special because he can actually understand their language. The character in the gif is the Aztec god Huehuecóyotl who takes a liking to Arata and follows him around (after almost killing him and a bunch of other people of course).

Huehuecoyotl : The Trickster God The significance of this day

Day Cuetzpalin (Lizard), known as Kan in Maya is governed by Huehuecoyotl, the Trickster, as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Cuetzpallin signifies rapid reversals of fortune. It is a good day to work on your reputation through actions, not words.

In Nahuatl, "old coyote' (huehue: old; coyotl: coyote) was associated with destiny and dance, the pattern of adulthood and adolescence. It's depicted as a coyote dancing with human hands and feet, accompanied by cymbals. In Aztec culture, coyotes were a symbol of cunningness, worldly wisdom, pragmatism, and masculine beauty. The prefix "huehue" meaning "very old" in Nahuatl was used in Aztec mythology to refer to wisdom, philosophical knowledge related to experience and age. Of all the Mexican deities, Huehuecóyotl represented the duality in terms of good and evil, as well as the balance between the old and the new, the mundane and the spiritual, the masculine and the feminine, youth and old age.

Physical Traits

Huehuecoyotl is commonly illustrated as a coyote engaged in dance, possessing human hands and feet, often accompanied by a human drummer. His name, translating to “very old coyote,” carries positive connotations for the Aztecs, symbolizing traits such as astuteness, worldly wisdom, pragmatism, male beauty, and youthfulness. I didn't saw it coming from anywhere but Huehue is the father of Char and Pine! (Diego already confirmed that on the v&v discord server)

Soooo... after being freed from the Alebrije, he just have been hiding himself from the paternal responsabilities (like any irresponsable latinoamerican father jsjs)

In fact into the mytology he was a god related to sexuality and, well, it was obvious that maybe he had spread a lot of unrecogniced decendance everywhere...

But I never expected that those children were Char and Pine.

Like... They don't seem to be like him in anything but well, they have been rised by their grandparents and act more like Tez.

ANIMAL : the coyote. ㅤㅤthis animal symbolizes, un mesoamerican culture, a warrior's might. it also represents the aztec deity huehuecóyotl, known as the old coyote. god of dance and music, generally portrayed as mankind's "elder Brother", a creator, seducer, trickster. western anthropology suggests the coyote as a symbol mediator between life and death.

COLOR ( S ) : deep browns, maroons and dark reds, oranges and nudes. white and light blue.ㅤㅤ essentially the picture of a classic western, the american southwest.

MONTH : april and october. ㅤㅤthe months of change in seasons, which the colors come and go, which dead things rise one way or another.

PLANT : yucca flowers, ㅤㅤstate symbol of new mexicoㅤ — ㅤthough not as visually applesing as other kinds of lilies, it represents also new opportunities, rebirth, loyalty and protection.

SMELL : a cloying and distinct fragrance of ash and gunpowder, bourbon and summer rains.ㅤㅤ personally, he keeps himself as clean and unassuming as possible.

GEMSTONE : jade. ㅤㅤacross many civilizations and cultures, the jade was symbolically associated with life and death. it is no different in mesoamerican culture.ㅤㅤ turquoise,ㅤㅤ a symbol of great fortune in old aztec culture, carried on and out to symbolize foremost hope.

FOOD : a traditional american breakfast,ㅤㅤ rich in fatty meats, eggs and carbs, accompanied by a fresh pot of coffee. ironically, he is vegetarian.

SEASON : summer. ㅤㅤmid summer, to be more specific. hot and dry and and seemingly endless.

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN : aries. ㅤㅤferocious, impulsive, courageous — the kind that leads with the head and acts with the heart.

ELEMENT ( S ) : earth & fire. ㅤㅤnurturing and creative, impulsive and wild.

DRINK : bourbon & whiskey.ㅤㅤ hard liquor in general.

It's going to take me weeks to contact every Shaman that I can. There is a most pressing matter which I must undertake of grave importance. I will humbly ask for a prayer and a blessing.

My surname was of significance after all and I will be switching off my Wakamotogarou shikone accordingly when appropriate. There are many signs and revelations in mine and my brother's life. Our path is unique.

We are twin pillars. He is the Aries element of courage and strength and I am the Ophiuchus/Sagittarian. We're both fully awakened to our higher selves, knowledge is effortless like the flow of water but it is important to cultivate wisdom above all else.

I was raised by Father Coyote wearing-wolf's-skin. Trickster God coytl took care of me. humor has been my saving grace, but I am be pretty stupid sometimes and I need guidance like a child. I hope one day to meet Huehuecóyotl! I will end by stating to you all that Spirits are real. All the Native American tales were based on actual things that do exist. There are ancient Gods in the forests....

Nishant chuckled in return. “That’s so refreshing to hear and I am so glad. Because my mom is enjoying her retirement a little too much and part of it is stalking people I am friends with. I get a lot of ‘i see your friend got married she looks really pretty in her dress and her husband is a doctor’ type of messages.” His mother was one of those desi aunties who managed to bring him down with how overly positive she could be.

He frowned. “Yeah… probably. Though with all the god-influenced weirdness, I’d say it’s more likely the norse Gods are messing with us. Like Thor or something. I have no idea which is the norse god of dreams, but could be that one is in your head.” Realising how terrible that sounded, Nishant attempted to rectify it. “Probably it will stop soon. We know from experience that these strange this never last too long.”

He had to admit it was a good question. And probably easier for a Werewolf to answer than a witch. He could feel the pack mentality in his blood, the need to protect his own. He wasn’t so sure it was trust in his case, not with Fenrir Pack for sure, but necessity. “Well… in my case. They did earn it. At least the previous lot of them. I was eighteen when I got bitten. I really had no idea what was going on and as a gifted drama… king, I also didn’t want anyone’s help. I was a very difficult individual to convince of this whole supernatural thing, it didn’t fit in anything my parents had taught me. The pack leader of Slough back then managed to convince them not to do that. He really took his time trying to understand things from my perspective and helping me with being a Werewolf.” Unlike the leaders of Fenrir Pack. He shrugged. “I know my generation isn’t as… engaged.
