My dear Jacashe!! I love you two so! 🥰

But yeah, as I said in a personal post recently, POTC Jacob and Duncan were in my sketchbook yesterday at work -- this is the one I finished, loosely inspired by a scene in the very last chapter where Jack and Ashe are forced to separate by circumstance but are very reluctant about the whole thing, while the other unfinished one is set at the beginning of the second act. These expressions were honestly challenging for me as an asexual person, and even though I can't really say if they turned out as sensual as I had hoped, they at least look aesthetically decent to my eye. Because of Ashe's height difference here, as well as his overall body language, one could be forgiven for thinking he's the top in this relationship, but hahaha, nope! Even if he's shorter by about three inches than his partner, Jacob is far more impulsive and open in expressing his intense emotions, so he's much more the type to initiate anything romantic or sexual out of the two (once he finally figures out he's fallen head over heels for Ashe in the first place, which admittedly takes a while). In all universes where these two hook up, Ashe is a "power bottom" more than anything, putting in the guard rails for Jacob and having the final say about what they do or don't do. That doesn't mean that Merman-First-Mate!Ashe hasn't sometimes used his mermish abilities to egg Pirate-Lord-and-Captain!Jack on a bit seduction-wise once they become an official couple. 😂

I caved.

I was hesitating to get in on the POTC au by @carewyncromwell because I don't remember most of the movies except Stranger Tides and Dead Men Tell No Tales. BUT THE AU IS JUST SO FUN AND I WANTED TO GET IN TOO!

So while I was racking my brain trying to see if there's a character Sarahi would fit in, I have to give Carewyn the credit for reminding me about Syrena the mermaid in Stranger Tides. I loved that immediately, with Barnaby as Philip, and made up some sketches... at least they were meant to be just sketches. I colored them because I have zero self control.

I just sorta made screenshot redraws for now. I'm gonna make more of Mermaid Sarahi soon!

Hey all, I've written something short and quick for the POTC au, it's just something small with Ryan and his cursed crew. So I hope you enjoy!

This isn't proof read so their might be spelling errors as english isnt my first language either. So please keep this in mind!!

"Captain, are you certain about this? You know what happened last time you confronted that wicked woman." The first mate spoke up with a low voice, truly hoping their captain would have learned his lesson by now, but unfortunately that was not the case. A sigh escaped the captain as he turned to face his first mate.

"I am aware that it is not the brightest idea, but what choice do we have? We all want this damned curse to end and who better to ask than the woman who doomed us all in the first place?" Ryan turned to look at the other man from under his hat, it was more of a glare then anything else.

A sigh escaped the first mate, "no one has seen her in years Captain.. no one knows where she is or where she ran off to!" As he spoke Ryan balled his fists, feeling as if every word the other spoke was a stab to the chest. They've had been cursed for a good fourty years now and Ryan wanted nothing more then to just perish like what was supposed to happen to them during that terrible storm.

Raising a hand the other man immediately shut up, "We will find her, even if that means I'll have to step on land" taking his hat in his hands, Ryan started to toy with the feather. "Set sail Master Thomas, we're going on a witch hunt and I know exactly where to begin.."

Thomas shook his head but walked away to go to the rest of the crew to announce that they were leaving, their captain was strange but once he had his mind set on something, nothing could be changed. "Set sail gentlemen! Captain Seacrest wants to hunt the witch who doomed us all down! So we'll find her!" Thomas yelled at the crew and as soon as those words left his mouth he turned back to look at their captain.

Ryan simply looked back at him and gave him a small smirk, he was going to succeed this time, he knew.

POTC AU Moodboard

Marti Venturi grew up within her brother’s ship and crew after the rest of their family perished. When Jacob goes missing Marti takes over as Captain of his crew and is willing to tear the seven seas apart to find her brother. 

I wanted to jump on the bandwagon of @carewyncromwell​‘s POTC AU and made a moodboard for Marti.

Rakepick recovered rather quickly – she fired at Ashe, forcing the merman to lunge out of the way. Knowing he didn’t have much time before the other soldiers recovered too, Ashe threw himself across the deck toward Jacob. Quite a few of the soldiers withdrew subconsciously seeing the bizarre, hissing, fish-tailed and fanged man coming at them and it was just enough for Jacob to, in one more inhuman show of strength, throw the rest of the soldiers off of him. Ashe quickly seized onto Jacob’s coat in his clawed, webbed hands, hoisting himself up into a quasi-kneeling position on the deck. “Jump into the water with me,” Ashe said quickly. “No – ” said Jacob frantically, “not without the Chest – !” “Open fire!” bellowed Rakepick. The soldiers, still stunned by the monster that had flopped up on deck, all hurried to try to load their weapons. “We can’t get the Chest back if we’re dead!” Ashe reminded Jacob harshly, his sclera-less brown eyes narrowing. He could feel his legs slowly returning as his scales dried out. Hoisting himself to his returning feet as best as he was able, he pulled Jacob along behind him back toward the ship’s railing, and – just as the firing squad set loose a hail of bullets – yanked Jacob overboard after him. As they fell, Ashe covered Jacob’s mouth fully with his own, before they landed in the water below with a loud SPLASH.

Hey all! The original sketch for this I had finished last month, while revisiting my old POTC AU and its version of my favorite boys Duncan Ashe and Jacob Cromwell, and now it's finally cleaned up and colored the way I hoped! It was kind of an interesting experiment, to try to draw a kiss from such an odd angle, as well as to try to draw Ashe halfway between his human and merman forms while still not making his pants-less lower half too "graphic." It was also fun to draw Ashe with his hair out, because what can I say, I love drawing my favorite ghost boi with long hair!! X3 And well, it's just nice to spend some time with my favorite disaster couple, even now that the game Hogwarts Mystery has pretty solidly decided to ship Jacob/Olivia (which hey! If your Jacob fits romantically with your Olivia, that's cool! Mine just is completely and ttly Duncan's, and I wouldn't dream of changing that XDD)

^-^ Careys hit me with her Hphm PotC Au like a train. I LOVE Pirate Stories and I couldn’t help myself and create a Pirate AU Samantha.

So here is AU Pirate Samantha's Background Story:

Samantha is a young irish woman who was kidnaped by a corrupt Man who worked for the East India Trading Company. She was treated like a slave but somehow she was able to escape. She lost her Trust in the World System and decided never to follow rules again. So the young, blond woman becomes a Pirate but without a permanent Crew. You can call her a freelancer Pirate. She works on a ship for some time and then she will leave it. But there is one thing which is very important to her - The Pirate Codex! A Pirate might be a Thief, but they still got their honor. So Samantha is known as an excellent fighter who knows how to work with guns, swords and Grenades. But she would never cheat on a Duell. Especially her hanging with Grenades and Gunpowder give her the nickname “Pirate Dragon”. And she would never hurt or even kill children, women or old people who can’t defend themself.

Samantha knows Captain Amari and the crew of the Artemis because she worked on this ship as a Pirate for a few month.She and Orion Amani are still friends and he would need her help, she would help him.

But Samantha is still a chaotic good with a cheeky Motto on her lips.You can find Samantha in three places: in Jail (but she always escaped), on a Pirate Ship or in Tortuga.

So @carewyncromwell​, if you want to use Samantha for your story, feel free to do that. Thanks to you I am totally in a PoTC fever again.

Forgive me, but I have a lot of trouble seeing this woman being a member of your crew.” “There are several women under my sail,” said Orion, indicating Skye and Jules. “And this one is not one of them.” The pirate’s voice had gotten a bit harder as he too got right up in Orion’s face. “Don’t toy with me, Amari,” he said so quietly than only Orion and Carewyn (who was right behind him) could hear. “I know who she is. You cannot convince me that a Commodore of the Navy is in line with you, and I have no interest in having you sail off with such a prize.” Orion’s dark eyes narrowed, but his calm, stony expression didn’t shift. “…Then I invoke the right to parley with your captain,” he said calmly.

Oh gosh, this really turned out just the way I hoped! X3 I was revisiting the only POTC AU I wrote back during the pandemic, and I thought I'd try drawing some scenes that previously had no proper visuals...so here's Carewyn and Orion's first collision with Duncan Ashe, First Mate of the infamous pirate ship Tower Raven! (I don't think I realized how much I've missed drawing my precious ghost boi, especially with long hair, until I started working on this!) The conflict in this moment is particularly amusing for me considering the full context of Orion being Carewyn's love interest and Ashe being Jacob's life partner -- even before getting to know and becoming attached to Carewyn himself, Ashe is baring his fangs figuratively on "Jack's" behalf, upon this intruder trying to take the person who Ashe is just about positive is Jack's little sister away before she can be reunited with him. Hooray for future brothers-in-law!! 😂
