Swatches are mostly colors from sforzcc's birdie palette and then two patterns I liked.

hiii its been a little while since my last cc release huh. so i decided to try a quicker release than my usual projects and when i found these assets i kind of immediately knew i wanted to try to convert them, so here we are

I find wall plates an essential decoration, and I've always felt like we could use a lot more variety when it comes to them so I decided to make some fornasetti wall plates. I feel like these would fit so well in a gothic/macabre home, or you could even use them for an art exhibit. I highly recommend y'all read here to learn more about these plates, as the history behind them is pretty cool! 🖤

Details:

This is a recolor of @peacemaker-ic's atwood dining hanging plate. You need the mesh for the recolors to show up in your game.

There are 35 swatches, seeing as variation is such a large theme of fornasetti's plates and I just COULDN'T choose.

They cost 100§ because they're literally hundreds of dollars in real life and I wanted to simulate the feel. Of course feel free to change the price if you wish. You will find these in wall decorations.

AnYe's Deco Headphones in Simlish

I like these deco headphones but they had a logo in English. I edited it to be Simlish instead, and then it occured me that wireless headphones are a thing. So now the wire can be turned invisible too. I also improved the thumbnail and reprized these while I was at it.

I directly edited AnYe's original files so if you already have these in your game and would rather have this version, let these files override the old ones.

Download (SFS) (alternate) - files are compressed. Under Deco / Misc for §30. 1702 polys, 512x512 textures.

I reopened the game to show the characters to a friend and noticed that I had made Yuri just wrong, so...I "fixed" Yuri.

Of course, there is also the less disheveled and more elegant version for big occasions u.u

I also had fun creating his sports outfit...but it didn't feel right to write "Aky, I love you💘" on it while he's hitting on Julia, so I settled for the team logo.

hi this might take away from my usual content but it’s still criminal case related i promise xD

So there’s this Filipino series entitled Can’t Buy Me Love which is about a poor and aspiring entrepreneur named Bingo that gets entangled in a deadly plot against a rich woman with a messy family named Caroline, and there’s murder involved. The killer/mastermind is revealed today and it’s Caroline’s elder sister, Bettina. She was behind all of it because no matter what she does, she constantly feels ignored and unloved by their own father.

How is this criminal case related? Bettina just reminded me so much of Angela and her involvement in SOMBRA HAHA, I mean they feel weirdly similar in my head. they’re both misunderstood Asian women who have been through a lot and want to prove themselves worthy (Bettina to her father, Angela to SOMBRA), and it only made them traumatized to the point they resorted to murder. All they both wanted is love and a loving family. They were both strong not because they are strong, but because they had to be strong.

Unfortunately, some people are mad at Bettina because she’s a killer, but for me I just felt bad because she reminded me so much of Angela xD

Yes, murder is wrong, VERY wrong. But people are complex and nuanced. Some people may be unloved but still try to be better, while some don’t. It doesn’t excuse murder, but if it does resort to murder, it still doesn’t mean what they did defines them as a person. They were just a victim of their circumstances, Like Caroline, Bettina was also a victim of their messy family dynamic (which involved a LOT of cheating, adultery, and obsession with wealth, which as a child is a LOT to handle), and like the other SOMBRA recruits, Angela was a victim of SOMBRA’s child trafficking scheme.

So I hope the narrative of “Why did X do this, Y experienced the same shit but didn’t end up that way” ends because it invalidates what they felt that time. You can be mad of what they did, but don’t be mad at how they felt because you cannot change that.

The other post was getting long, and this is a different sword, so here you go:

I actually fucking finished a mesh edit!!!!! Well, at least the meshing part. This thing has parts from three different sword meshes. Tomorrow it's on to texturing hell. I've never textured anything before in my LIFE, and I just know it's going to be miserable, lmao.

Especially since I assume I'm going to have to make a new uv map and I don't know shit about that. But I at the very least need a texture for renders, and this sword is low-poly enough that I could probably make it an in-game accessory too.
