ok masterpost abt my fic
og titled 'lifelong au' on ao3, working on a draft 2 now
in case anybody actually cares lol. the og version had like 420 (nice) hits and 12 kudos which i know isn't a lot but more than i'm used to
this turned out so much longer than i was expecting goddamn it
mike was born in '71. charlie and sammy, '72; liz, '75; evan/c.c., '78.
the Incidents didn't happen like they did in the games. there was no bite of '83, though there was a bite of '87. mike got ennarded at 2, liz got clawed at 8mos, and ev got bitten at almost 1yr old. will's wife leaves after evan, gets the kids every other weekend plus three weeks in summer.
will founded afton robotics not long after evan got bitten, so he and henry had more time to work on their projects or spend time with family while other people did stuff for them. a few months after that, fredbear's opened, and a few months after that, david murray dies to the mimic (talesgames lets gooooo)
mike's school friend group was jeremy, teddy, and shelby (i might've borrowed those names from someone else, sorry if i did) who would've been the bonnie, freddy, and chica bullies respectively if the bite of '83 had occured. even though it didn't, mike is still negatively impacted by teddy in particular.
will killed charlie in '83, like in the books, but she was nine/ten then rather than 3. henry's wife took sammy and left not long after (we'll get back to them.) fredbear's didn't close after charlie's death, which gave will ample time to kill the MCI kids in '84.
some big corporation approaches will and henry (i'm going with the explanation that they were friends with the ceo in uni or something, which would explain why he helped them out), the company is saved and Fazbear Entertainment opens their first restaurant, freddy fazbear's pizza. will opens circus baby's pizza world at the same time.
the dead children incident happens at ff pizza (the fnaf 2 restaurant), will and lizzie were the killers. (she's a daddy's girl, desperate for his affections, and he's a manipulative asshole. i will die on this hill.) evan gets trapped in the fredbear suit (the rules of how remnant works in my fic is hard to explain, so just know that ev got trapped becaue remnant.) bite of '87 happens, and obviously the pizzeria closes.
lots of angst, mike blames himself for what happened to evan, and goes to live with henry for a bit since he can't stand to be around will and lizzie anymore. he starts seeing the ghost kids in his dreams. also, while jeremy's in the hospital, will injects him with remnant to see what would happen (again, rules of remnant are confusing) which was the only reason jeremy lived. nobody knew about this for a while.
circus baby's closes in '90, after a few more deaths, but entertainment and rental opens in '91. mike gets re-scooped. don't question it.
freddy's pizzeria (fnaf 1) opens under a franchisee called steve, who dies, as does ralph. will gets springlocked and trapped backstage. he lives because he always comes back remnant, but stays back there for a while.
henry takes over as the sole owner of fazbear entertainment for a while, then merges with another company who'll deal with the business nonsense while henry plays with robots again. carl shelley takes over will's old job (we'll get back to this)
glitchtrap/william (we're going to pretend this makes sense) starts taking over fazbear tower after henry plugs an old usb into his computer. around the same time, carl's daughter vanessa (gasp) starts showing up around the tower. (she was born in 2003 in this)
sammy and his wife rachel move back to hurricane for a job opportunity, and their son goes missing not long after. (i told you we'd get back to them!)
carl, who found out about the rumours surrounding the company, goes to chat with henry about it and finds out it's all real, so he develops an elaborate scheme to discredit the rumours, resulting in scott being hired.
the first four games are put out by scott, but Oh No, will managed to escape the pizzeria and kills him after fnaf 4. this wasn't supposed to happen, so they freak out and make mike finish the games. (let him rest i am begging you he's been doing your security guard bullshit for thirty years, don't give him more work to do)
vanessa reveals that she's been taking parts from some of the animatronics for the prototype of a mask she created. jeremy doesn't want her stealing stuff so he takes her as a sort of protege, where she can safely work on her stuff with help from people who know more than her.
liz and nessa are sent to help playtest the last game in their elaborate coverup scheme, but get possessed. oops.
pizzaplex opens, shenanigans ensue.
they finally find will, who's been causing chaos this whole time, and he gets to take back his job at the company after carl Mysteriously Vanishes.
anyways yeah that's all i'm going to post for now because there's some fun stuff that happens and i don't want to spoil any of it. however it is worth mentioning that certain people get fun cameos! matpat runs a docuseries about uncovering the secrets of fazbear entertainment, and one of the running gags in the later chapters is that he likes to try and sneak in after hours. markiplier is one of the pizzaplex guards, and is constantly seen screaming and being chased by animatronics.

Play School Franchise Opportunities in India
A Comprehensive Guide:
India can be a market for play-school franchises because it has a growing middle class and is putting more focus on early childhood education. And the main reason behind this is the “New Education Policy 2020”. More families with two incomes and more knowledge about how important preschool is have increased the need for good early learning centers. People who are serious and they really want to start their own business or they are willing to invest money can look into Pre School Franchises because they offer a good chance to make money and the possibilities are very high.
Increase in the demand for Early Childhood Education:
Every parent wants the best for their child and the reason why preschool education demand is increasing is because it helps to improve child's mental, social, and emotional growth as well as to improve their habits. Preschools, which are also known as "play schools," are places where kids age two to five can learn in a perfect way. These schools use play-based learning to help kids develop their imagination, social skills, and basic school skills.
Industry study shows that India's preschool market will grow very quickly over the next few years. More people moving to cities, having more money to spend, and knowing how important it is to start school early are all major factors in this growth. Because of this, the play school sector is a good place to spend for people who want to get into the education business.
Why Should You Choose a Franchise?
To start a play school by yourself, you have to put in a lot of work to create a program, build a brand, and gain credibility. On the other hand, many of these problems can be solved by choosing a franchise plan. If you want to buy a play school business, here are some big benefits:
Well-known brand: Franchises have the benefit of a well-known brand name, which makes possible parents and investors feel safe and gives them confidence. Parents and investors are more likely to be interested in this well-known brand than in a new, unknown business. This gives the company a good start.
Proven Curriculum and Methodologies: The franchisors offer a well-researched and proven curriculum that makes sure the level of education stays perfect. And if possible, parents and investors know this, they can be sure that their children will get a good education, they can make an informed decision.
Training and Help: Franchisees get full training and ongoing help with all aspects of running the play school, like marketing support, staff management, administration or any other support.
Marketing and advertising: The franchisors often plan large-scale advertising and marketing campaigns according to their experience which are very good for all partners.
More likely to succeed: The franchises do better than individual businesses in most of the time, because they come with a support system and a tried business plan, this all happens because of their proven experience in the business. But it is very important to remember that having a play school franchise has its own problems, like keeping up with quality standards, competing with other play schools, and keeping track of staff turnover.

How to Start Your Own Play School Chain:
Do your own research and pick the right franchise. There are many Play School Franchise in India, so think about things like the brand's image, the help that is available, and the initial investment that is must.
Make sure you have enough money: Get the money you need by investing, borrowing, or saving.
Picking a Place: Pick a place that is easy to get to, safe, and has lots of room for classes and play areas.
Legal formalities: Make sure your business is registered, that you have the right licenses (for example, from the local health and education offices), and that you follow all the rules about safety, cleanliness, and protecting children.
Training and Setting Up: Once you've picked a location, go to the franchisor's training. These will cover how the play school works, from putting together the program to managing the staff. Set up the school the way you were told. This includes planning the class, building the play area, and setting up the tools.
Marketing and Enrollment: And do not forget to use the franchisor's marketing help to get more people to join and aware of your business.
Final Words
Starting your own play school can definitely be a great idea for your business as the early childhood education is becoming very important. And yes, there are lots and lots of good stuff about franchises, like strong support networks, well-known names, and tried methods that make starting a new business risk free. Whether you, are young or senior, man or women, Homemaker or working professional, this business model is for everyone. But, people who will study and plan ahead can do this.

Why Preschool Franchising is a Successful Business Opportunity
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/da13e0fadb7f1f91ce23603d5f22ead1/a1b5eda448c019fe-23/s540x810/bfbfac821cf28eb12d2e41f2fac7cea83d0edcbb.jpg)
There are many reasons why preschool franchising is a successful business opportunity. For one, the demand for quality preschools is high and growing. According to the National Association for the Education of Young Children, 62 percent of parents say they would send their child to a better-quality preschool if one were available.
Furthermore, preschool franchises provide a proven business model with systems and support in place to help franchisees succeed. Franchisors also typically have strong relationships with suppliers, which can help franchisees get discounts on supplies and materials.
Finally, preschools tend to be recession-resistant businesses. Even during economic downturns, parents continue to prioritize their children’s education and care. This makes preschool franchising a relatively safe investment compared to other businesses.
Preschools and Daycare Market: An Overview
Preschools are by far the most popular choice for parents of young children. In fact, over 80% of all 4-year-olds in India are enrolled in some form of the preschool program. This popularity is likely due to the fact that preschool provides children with their first opportunity to receive structured education and socialize with other kids their age outside of the home.
The growing popularity of preschools has resulted in a boom in the preschool and daycare market. The industry was worth an estimated $52 billion and it is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. This growth has created a great opportunity for entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses in this booming industry.
One way to get started in this industry is by franchising a preschool or daycare center. Franchising offers many benefits over starting your own independent center, such as access to proven business models, marketing support, and standardized operating procedures. Additionally, franchisors will often provide initial training and ongoing support to help you get your business up and running successfully.

Starting a preschool franchise can be a very successful business opportunity. There are many things to consider when starting a franchise, such as the initial investment, the ongoing costs, the location, and the type of franchise.
The initial investment for a preschool franchise can low-cost range. The ongoing costs of a franchise include royalties, marketing fees, and other expenses. The location of a preschool franchise is important because it must be convenient for parents to drop off and pick up their children.
The type of preschool franchise you choose will also affect your success. There are franchises that focus on academics, sports, or the arts. Each type of franchise has its own strengths and weaknesses. Choose a type of franchise that you are passionate about and that you feel would be successful in your community.

Angel's First Time - Devil's Last Meal
Summery: Steve Harrington is known for wearing many hats - successful businessman, notorious flirt, and reclusive introvert. The latter is a new one for him since surviving the Great Hawkins Earthquake of 86’. Between work, covering up his tracks, and struggling with his own demons; Steve doesn’t have time to do much of anything unless it has to do with satisfying his thirst.
Two years after the Portal ripped through the town (and Steve loosing his mortality) he decides to open up his home once again on Halloween night…and to bleed some gullible souls dry. But one guest peeks his interests, and he can’t wait to sink his teeth into her in more ways than one.
A/N: This was based on an RP I did with @steveharringtonanonblog back in late September-early October. I would have loved to have finished it before Halloween, but , ya know, life happens.
Pairing: Vampire!Steve Harington x Fem!Reader, brief mention of Robin x Vikki and Nancy x Jonathan
Warning (DNI if you’re under 18): All of the characters are over 18! Drinking, swearing, blood, injuries, hardcore flirting, sexual themes, minor blood play, angst (‘cuz Steve was raised by emotionally detached parents and doesn’t know how to express love,) oral (M and F receiving), breeding kink if you squint, Steve breaking free from his nepotism baby status, lots of biting, lots of foreplay, throat training, choking, use of pet names, unprotected sex (for the love of god please use protection folks).
~ Halloween Night, 1988 ~
Robin insisted that Y/N (who she affectionately called Angel) be her Plus One to Steve Harrington's Halloween Masquerade Party. Any other time Angel would be all in to go to a party, especially if it involved the incredibly handsome and charming Steve Harrington. But after the last few years romance wasn’t exactly at the forefront of her mind. She moved out of her parents' house in the summer of 1985 – before shit really hit the fan – and lost her apartment when the "Portal to Hell '' opened up a year later. Since then Angel has been staying at Robin Buckley’s house for free – in exchange for driving her to and from work (and trying to teach her how to drive.) She could have asked Vikki, but Robin is still trying to ease her way into a first date.
During those rides Y/N got to finally meet Steve Harrington. Robin and Steve became an unexpected duo after their time at Scoops Ahoy, then moving onto Family Video. Angel was always too nervous to really talk to him more than just saying “hi” and some light teasing. Apparently he was hit pretty hard when the Portal and earthquake too. His parents were gone; either they moved out or they died no one knows. They just kind of vanished. Since then he really pulled himself out of that hole; he inherited everything from his folks. When we say everything, we mean everything! No more struggling to get by because his dad wanted to "teach him a lesson." He took some of that money he got and invested in stocks, that made his money double. Then he bought rights to Scoops Ahoy, money back then tripled after opening a dozen franchisees all across the midwest. Needless to say Steve Harrington went past just peeking in high school. But with all of that he's spent less and less time with Robin and the rest of his friends. Yeah, he had his own businesses to run and figuring out stuff with his dead parents; but people swore it was like he just locked himself away in that new mansion he bought and just drowned himself in his work...he doesn't even go on dates anymore. King Flirt Steve Harrington not dating? That’s insane.
Anyways, Robin was on Y/N’s ass to dress up for this party. The invites were very specific about the dress code – "It's Halloween; go nuts! Bring on the opulence, but make it edgy – you must incorporate leather, spikes, and/or harnesses." She told Robin the literal BDSM shit was fucking weird. The brunette just shrugged it off and said "It's Halloween at Harrington's. What else were you expecting?" Luckily Angel had some stuff lying around to make a pretty damn good angel costume, maybe a little on the nose come to think of it. Nancy Wheeler helped Y/N make wings out of this gorgeous iridescent leather stuff she found in her brother's D&D shit. Y/N kept it simple otherwise; white mini dress that hugged her curves, strappy silver heels, and her hair was teased. She also had a garter belt that matched her wings that kept her stockings up, white elbow length gloves, and all of the sparkle and glitter Nancy, Robin, and Angel could get their hands on. Robin went as a pirate, nothing too crazy. She was given an exception to the dress code since Steve and her were so close, and Robin has some sensory issues.
“Christ, Steve went all in with that inheritance, huh?” Angel said aloud as she parked the car.
Robin was fixing her eyeliner in the rearview mirror “Yeah, he's a real Daddy Warbucks now. She stopped and made a face “That felt wrong...”
“You said it, not me!” Y/N shot back with a laugh. “Jesus Christ, this dress is short!” She was struggling to adjust the wings while not flashing anyone.
The pirate got out of the car and helped her friend adjust the straps of her harness. “Yeah yeah shut up! You picked it out, remember?” she grabs the angel’s hand and dragged her up the walkway, “Come on! Dingus Warbucks is waiting!”
Angel rolled her eyes and followed along. Steve's security/wait staff showed the two girls the way into the main dining hall.
“Geez if I didn't know any better I'd say Steve was having one of those parties,” Angel’s eyes darted around all of the guests. “It's like the set of Hellraiser in here.”
The pirate let out a scoff “Nah, not even Steve would be that bold.” Suddenly they both heard cheers and clapping and looked to the grand staircase – it's Steve Harrington. “Oh god...spoke too soon.”
Ever since the earthquake, Steve had put on a fake front for everyone, though still laying back and focusing on his business. The deal with his parents was a messy one, he almost got caught, but if there's something he knows how to be, it’s persuasive. So now – the music booming loudly through the mansion; guest after guest entering the house, he never felt more content, and hungry. The party was just a fakery to get the one thing Steve really needed...blood. It's been a while since he had this much food in one room, but that just doubled- no, tripled the fun. Making his way downstairs, the crowd cheered like he was the biggest fucking superstar, but they would do that for anyone who invited them into their home and offered them free drinks. Saluting them, the music turned down slightly so he could speak.
“Hello everyone; glad to see you here- Christ, there are so many of you!” He says in awe, hands settling on his waist. For him, they were nothing but chunks of flesh, filled with the essence of a long lasting life. “Tonight, will be a night of sin! So grab a drink and have fun!” He urges the crowd; already scanning the room for a potential prey, preferably girls since they're the easy one to wow. Just a bit of the Harrington charm and they're on their knees, begging for me to suck them dry.
"’Night of sin’?" Y/N looked at Robin “Okay he is shamelessly doubling down now.”
“That's what you noticed? Not that clown suit he's wearing?” Robin gestures to Steve's outfit. It could only be described as Dracula meets Jared the Goblin King; spooky, extravagant, and sexy. Intricate gold and jewels dusted his body from his dress shoes up to his eyes, which were lined with black and red eyeshadow.
“Oh yeah I definitely noticed” she replied, your eyes drifting to the slacks Steve was wearing. They hugged his body perfectly to the point she could almost make out his so-called “legendary length.”
Y/N were zoning out again when… “Hello?! Earth to Dingus!?!” Robin snapped her finger in front of her face.
“What? Oh! Hi Robin…” Angel said, grinning sheepishly.
All Robin could do was shake her head “And you call me shameless...” before she dragged the angel to the food and drinks. “Come on, I'm starving!”
Steve flashed a smile and received some more applause, letting the music play again as he walked down into the crowd and started greeting some people. Everyone was on point with the dress code, and he was pleased with it. It made him stand out less into the crowd. His costume...well, is it even a costume if you came dressed as yourself – a vampire? With every time one can imagine, and uncomfortably tight slacks, walking down the stairs, he was starting to regret his decision but that didn't stop him from going to the kitchen to grab himself a drink.
Angel couldn’t help but continue to look around the mansion at everyone. “Hey Rob?”
Robin turns around after grabbing her fifth mini quiche “Yeah?”
Angel fidgeted with her gloves as she spoke “I can’t help but feel like I’m underdressed for this…am I?”
“Pfft No way” Robin exclaimed, “You look amazing; absolutely gorgeous!”
Angel lets out a forced laugh as she grabs a few snacks on a napkin “Really? I’d say I look cute, pretty even. But not gorgeous.”
Pushing past people, Steve spotted Robin with a surprise guest he’d never thought he’d see at such a scandalous party. Steve rested back against the counter just behind the two girls, hearing their conversation. He crosses his arms, a smirk passing his lips “Well, I'd say you look gorgeous” he quips, stealing a grape from the bowl and popping it into his mouth.
The pirate turned around, her mouth dusted with crumbs “Hey!” She stuffs the rest of whatever she was eating in her mouth and gives her Plus One her plate. “What’s up dude?” She gives Steve a hug before pulling away quickly because she got crumbs all over his jacket, to which Angel let out a laugh. Steve chuckled and gave Robin an assuring pat on the back.
“Oh hey you remember Y/N, right?” she asks as she grabbed her friend’s arm and pushed her forward. “She used to drive me to work when you were babysitting the kids?”
Steve turned his attention to the petite angel once Robin nudged her friend closer, his mahogany eyes looking her over. “Mhm, yeah, how could I forget such a pretty face?” He takes the angel’s hand, pressing a kiss to the back of it instead of shaking it. “So, why did you come here?”
Pretty? Gorgeous?
She could feel her face heating up. “I’m-I’m-“ Angel caught her breath before speaking again. “Robin is still too chicken shit to ask Vikki out.”
Robin immediately throws a grape at her friend. “I am not!” she scoffs.
Steve catches the grape and eats it, laughing at their playful banter. He placed a hand to Robin’s shoulders “Alright, calm down. But I think we both know that's true.” Robin rolls her blue eyes, letting out a huff. “How about you go and try to win her over, hm?” he urges, pointing to the said girl.
Y/N and Steve watched Robin’s eyes follow his finger. Vikki Lee is talking to Jonathan Byers and Nancy Wheeler, wearing a stunning green princess dress. Robin turns beet red and mutters some colorful words under her breath. God she is so whipped for that girl!
“Come on Robin! The time is now!” Y/N grabbed two drinks from one of the butlers and gave them to Robin “For the fair maiden.” She gives Robin a wink before shoving her in Vikki’s direction.
“Okay holy fuck!” Robin laments loudly, almost tripping and falling “Jesus Christ…” Go easy on her Harrington! She’s delicate!”
Y/N just makes a face at Robin and flips her off as she disperses into the ocean of bodies.
“Worried I’m gonna bring her back broken?” Steve calls back, amused as he turns back towards Y/N, a smile playing on his lips. “I'm guessing this is not your usual weekend activity?” he asks, looking around the mansion.
“I haven’t exactly had the time to have fun,” she said with a shrug. “Since I started sleeping on Rob’s couch I’d been focusing more on work…” Y/N continued on as she grabbed a chocolate-covered strawberry “…rather than play.” She takes a bite and lets out a hum, juiced running across her plush lips. “But Robin said it would be good for me to let loose once in a while.”
The man lets out a chuckle “Good thing you're in the right place for playing.” His eyes followed her lips, licking his own instinctively before flicking back up to her face. “You know, I'm not offering this to many people, but I could show you around the mansion. It's a pretty big place and the party is only downstairs.”
The young woman rolled her eyes at Steve “Oh I’m sure you’ve never offered a tour to a girl” She said sarcastically as she finished the strawberry and handed the plate to him. “Same ol’ Harrington,” Y/N says with a knowing smile as she place a hand on Steve’s shoulder and walks off to the dance floor.
“Correction; I've never offered a tour to a girl as pretty as you.” Steve quickly places the plate on the counter, following the girl. “So, is that a ‘no?”
The angel turned around and shot Steve a playful wink, as if to say “Catch me if you can '' before disappearing into the crowd. Steve healed back a groan in his throat, eyes darkening slightly before he stalks her through the crowd. “I guess a little chase wouldn’t be too awful” he mutters to himself.
Y/N heard the other rumors: men and women going to the Harrington Mansion and never coming out. But let’s face it, nine times out of ten it was women. It was stupid really, obviously made up by the locals to add fire to the Post-Portal machine. She didn’t believe in it for one second. But if Steve wanted her so badly, then she was going to make him work for it. Rich or barely scraping by: he was still Steve - former King of Hawkins High, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and a notorious flirt.
Angel found an opening on the floor and was finally able to let loose; hips swaying to the music as it thumped through the speakers. She spotted Robin and Vikki not far from her. Vikki was pressed up against the pirate and had her freckled arms snaked around Robin’s neck. Poor Robin looked like she was struggling to respect Vikki’s space, but Vikki clearly didn’t care. Y/N wished she had the chance to at least get one drink in her system before Steve started hounding her. Suddenly Y/N feels someone’s chest pressed flush to her back, one arm around her waist as the other offers her a drink, their lips lowering to her ear.
“…Caught you”
It was Steve again.
A small chill went down Y/N’s spine from Steve’s touch – both from the close proximity and how cold he was. The house was hot and stuffy, but his hands felt so cold. “Oh no it’s Lord Harrington!” She said playfully “Please don’t hurt me sir. I’m just an innocent angel.” She turned around to face Steve, batting her lashes at him and took a sip of her drink – a rum and Cherry Coke. He placed the other hand around her waist, pulling her close and joining the dance. Her eyes widened and she looked down at her drink. “Holy shit! Who made this? It’s wicked strong!”
“I thought angels weren’t supposed to swear?” Steve asked, his eyes inspecting her face and lips “Do you need me to get you a new one?”
“It’s my first day,” Y/N replied, “and I like them strong.”
“Strong, huh?” he says with a slight smirk, his arm slightly tightening around her waist, pulling Y/N flush to his body while they dance along. Leaning in, he presses his lips to her ear under the pretext of having to talk over the loud music. “I'll keep that in mind, my Angel. Now that I caught you, what should I do with you, huh?”
Her eyes fluttered closed, worrying her bottom lip between her teeth. Damn he’s really good at this. She could feel her face getting warm from the rum. “Dance with me?” She asks as one of her hands rests on Steve’s broad chest and the other holds her drink.
He smirks and with a nod he pulls her close, leaning down close to her face – giving her the impression of going in for a kiss. Her breath caught in her throat as he moved in closer.
“I-“
His face went into the crook of her neck; groaning something unintelligible. The blood pulsed under her skin steadily, the faint scent of rum and something sweet lingering behind. Was it the fruit she just had, or maybe whatever perfume she had on? “Fuck-“ he murmurs quietly to himself, his fingers pressing into her skin.
Her grip on Steve’s chest tightened a little. She tried to calm her nerves with her drink, but all it’s doing is making the room spin and her body temperature rise. This had to be a dream. The Steve Harrington was dancing with her, someone who otherwise was a total stranger to him, and seemingly getting turned on by her?! I guess the perfume Y/N got for her birthday really does draw men in like a magnet.
They keep dancing. For Steve nothing around exists anymore, as the scent of the girl fills his lungs. She moved back and her shoe stepped in something wet, causing her to drop her glass and slip. The glass shattered on the floor.
“Shit!!”
Steve managed to secure her to his body, but one of her hands connected with the broken class on the floor, cutting her. “Oh my god I’m so sorry Steve!” She looks up at Steve with a panicked expression. She didn’t notice it, but Steve’s eyes darken, darting to the crimson red blood sliding down her palm
“No, no, it's fine,” he says, licking his lips. All that he wants is to bring her palm up and clean it up himself, but he keeps his ground. “We should...” he points to the stairs “We need to get you cleaned up.”
With a curt nod, she was helped up to her feet. “Good idea,” she said with a light chuckle. She definitely wasn’t drunk, but between the fall and her heels her movements were like a newborn deer. “I’d love a tour of your bathroom sir,” she laughs quietly.
People make a path for them, making it easier to walk up the stairs, a surprised smile on his face at her words. “Gettin' bold, huh?” Steve helped her up the stairs as if she weighed nothing, one hand still around her waist and the other holding her bloody hand.
She laughs “You offered the tour first, ya know?”
He helps the young woman up the stairs carefully before walking her down the hall and into his bedroom. “The bathroom's right there” he says while pointing to the only other door in his bedroom.
Her eyes widened “Holy shit Steve!” She looked around the room while she walked towards the bathroom. “This is an awful lot of space for just one guy,” her eyes scanning her surroundings. She made it to the bathroom, which is about half the size of the bedroom. “This bathroom is almost as big as my old apartment.” She rummaged through the bathroom trying to find anything resembling a bandage; “Hey Steve, can you help me find the First Aid Kit, or whatever magic potion you mysterious rich guys use?” She asked.
Practically getting drunk on the smell of her, Steve nods at her requests for help. Pulling out a first aid kit from under the sink he chuckles. “Well, you're welcome to keep me around whenever you want.” She lets out a hiss every time he applies pressure to the wound. “Please be careful. Remember what Robin said; I’m ‘fragile.’”
Steve didn’t seem to be listening. “Oh, by the way...” Steve says, unwrapping some tissues and dabbing them over her cut, sucking a breath in as he concentrates. “I have a pretty big kitchen too, so I wanted to ask what we are going to eat tomorrow morning.” With a sly smirk on his face he asks, throwing the crimson paper into the toilet.
“Breakfast…with you?” She asked, perplexed “Steve, I only had one drink…” Her brows furrowed “and Robin needs a ride home…” Something is up, but Y/N can’t quite place it.
Steve cleared his throat as she dismissed his pretty obvious pick-up line; he finally wrapped her hand in some bandage. “Yeah alright, I guess the pick-up lines don't work on everyone the same.” He takes her uninjured hand and walks her to the bedroom again. “So you said you wanted a tour, here you have it, look around as much as you'd like.”
“No no no, you wanted to give me a tour,” The angel grins as she walks around the room absentmindedly. “So you admit it now? You really are flirting with me, Harrington?” She asked with a laugh. “I guess some of the rumors are true…” she trailed off as she was admiring all of the classic artwork and the four-post California king bed. She could feel Steve’s eyes on her, making her feel a little self-conscious.
“Rumors? What rumors?” Steve asks with a chuckle, crossing his arms as he slowly makes his way behind her: just about letting himself be carried by her scent.
She quickly turned around to see Steve right next to her. “Jesus fuck! Don’t sneak up on me like that! Why are you looking at me like that?” She asked “Is there something on my face?” The angel looked up at Steve, her eyes looking into his.
“Oh yeah, here” he says, bringing his thumb up to brush over her lower lip “’Guess it was just a bit of the chocolate” with a small shrug he takes a step forward, coming even closer. “But what rumors are you talking about, my dear?”
“W-Well…” she paused and swallowed, her mouth went dry “There are a bunch.” She fidgets with the fresh bandages on her hand nervously. “That you got disfigured after the earthquake, which” she shakes her head “obviously didn’t happen.”
Steve flashes her a flirtatious smile from her indirect compliment as he crowed her. She felt Steve’s dark eyes looking her up and down. “That you did something to make your folks disappear…” His face kept getting closer, her voice started to shake. It was as if Steve was floating as he corners her against the wall by his bed. “That y-you lure girls here…” her voice was now barely above a whisper “and they never come back…” She feels her back hit the wall, startling her to see where she is.
He pretends to not know what she's talking about, though his parents are both buried underneath the mansion, along with tens of girls that lay there blood dry. “And you believe them, angel?” Steve asks, tipping her head up to look him in the eye, his fingers under her chin. Steve’s eyes used to be so warm and friendly; like amber on a sunny day. There were still some remnants of that, but what she saw now made her stomach flip: Steve’s eyes were dark, feral, and hungry.
Her heart was pounding, her fingers twitching, her brain flip-flopping between being afraid and being aroused. Wait, “aroused?” The guy looks like he’s about to kill you and use your skin to upholster his chairs…and you’re turned on?! She shook her head “N-No…honestly I don’t know what I believe in anymore.”
“Good, good...” He nods slowly, relieved that she doesn't accuse him of anything just yet. “You shouldn't believe those lies, ever.”
She lifted one, shaky hand and pushed the mask that Steve was wearing off. It clattered to the hardwood floor. He wasn’t horribly disfigured, far from it, but he was ghostly pale and cold as ice. Tears threatened to spill over, “Steve…” her voice cracking “…What are you?”
Steve licks his lips in anticipation as he expects her to push him away and run as fast as possible. And the truth is that he'd let her. He wouldn't run after her like he would to the rest, and feast on them until their skin turned an ungodly color. He happened to take a liking to her, from the brief conversation they held from time to time to now, being the embodiment of innocence as she trembles in front of him, dressed as a cute angel, it was almost like she dressed up to catch his eye specially. “Hmm, give it a guess,” he challenges, smirking.
She couldn’t answer him. It was getting harder and harder to form words, all she could do was try desirably to breathe and not cry. She wanted to run, try and scream for help, but he was so strong and so fast. Her eyes flicked down to Steve’s mouth; what she initially thought were just costume fangs, they weren’t fake. God damnit why is this turning her on?!?
Run away!
Run.
Run!
Steve was practically breathing her in now.
She licked her dry lips, still tasting whatever was left on them “Steve…”
Steve watches as she debates her options, seeing her wanting to leave. Though her heart and the way she's clenching her thighs tells him otherwise and just then he knows he's got her, no matter what she may want to do, he knows that at the end of the day he'll have her wanting with nothing more than this. “Yeah?” he asks, keeping his voice as light as possible, though sheer need is flowing through his veins.
Her hands stopped shaking and she took a deep breath, composing herself for just a second. She looked Steve deep in his eyes. He watches her curiously as she basically crumbles under her gaze, looking up into his eyes before uttering a few words.
“Kiss me.”
“Are you sure? You know I'll want a lot more than just that” Steve answers.
“I know…” She grabbed Steve by the lapels of his jacket and pulled him so they are face to face “I-…fuck…” the butterflies in her stomach were making it impossible to speak, let alone breathe. “I’ve wanted you for so long Steve” she said, her breath ragged. Steve’s jaw clenches at her sudden confession. “I can’t…I don’t care if…Oh, fuck it!” She breaks the distance and kisses Steve.
He's quick to take control of the situation, pinning her to the wall with his body before one hand comes up to grab the back of her neck, keeping her close as their breaths intermingle and their lips move together. A content sigh leaves her throat as she gives in to Steve’s touch. She felt his tongue brush across her lower lip and she happily let him in. Thank God Steve had her pinned to the wall, because otherwise her legs would have given out from under her. He let her lips for a brief second, a single drop of saliva acting like the String of Fate between them. “Steve…” She felt his hands rip off her mask and chuck it across the room.
He's quick to have his mouth on hers again, his fingers digging into her hip almost painfully. “Such a pretty little angel, “he mutters, brushing his nose along the line of her jaw, taking in that sweet scent of hers again. He clenches his jaw so as not to sink his teeth into her on the spot. “Dressed up all for me, huh?”
Her hands slipped from the man’s lapel to his back, clawing desperately to him. “Y-Yes” she said, desperation and need dripping from her voice “It’s all for you.” A moan slipped out of her as Steve’s fingers dug into the fat of her hips as she tried to wrap a leg around his waist. The young man obliges and helps the angel wrap her legs around his waist, pressing his lips to the column of her throat. “Steve, please…” she begged as one of her hands grabbed a fistful of the man’s wild hair “…take me, make me yours.” She tilted her neck up so she could whisper directly into Steve’s ear “Devour me…”
He growls something under his breath, probably a curse while she begs for him to take her. His cock hardened embarrassingly fast as the words 'devour me' fell from her lips. “Fuck...you have no idea what you're asking for...”
She lets out a frustrated groan “For the love of God! What do you want me to do, Steve?! Fucking Beg?!?”
“You already sound like you are,” he chuckles before inhaling her scent one last time. Steve presses his teeth into her skin, piercing it effortlessly, the sweetness flowing into his mouth as he groans as his hips push up into her.
A loud cry burst forth from her chest, tears finally flowing. “Th-Thank you….” she said while choking back sobs. Her nails dug deeper into Steve’s back as he fed on her. All of the fear melted away and pleasure took its place. “Oh my god…fuck!” She seemed to have no control over her body as she shivered each time Steve would stop to lap at the open wound “This feels…amazing! Fuck…”
The sweet taste encompassing his senses, he's practically feral as he laps and sucks at her skin, bruising starts to form on her neck. “Fuck...” He picks her up effortlessly – eliciting a yelp from the young woman – walking her back to the bed before throwing her on it; reclaiming his spot between her thighs as his lips go to the slow flow of blood again. “You taste amazing.”
Her own legs gave out and Steve slotted between them, his knee nudging her core. “Ah! Fu-“ she couldn’t help but grind down on his knee. She stretched her neck to give Steve better access. She was being eaten alive but she was the one getting blood drunk. “Do I?” She sighed.
Humming slightly at her neediness, he slots his knee between her thighs again, offering her the tiniest bit of pleasure he's going to deliver to her that night. “Oh you do...sweetest fuckin' thing ever.” His head swims with the taste of her, rocking down against her thigh, slowly suckling on the trail of blood dripping onto her skin.
Her head spun and her mind went blank - she wanted more. So she slipped one hand down to rub Steve through his pants, feeling him twitch beneath her. “I can feel that,” she said with a coy smile, her face breaking when Steve nudged her core just right. “Fuck, Steve…let me taste it.”
“Taste what, baby?” he asks, voice husky and breathy as he pulls away from her neck, a small drop of blood lingering behind and dripping to his chin. He rocks against her hand, biting his lip.
She pulled herself up and licked the blood dripping down Steve’s chin and neck; “everything,” she purred.
His tongue pokes at his cheek in thought before humming as he rolls over on the bed, lying beside her and against the headboard. A hand came up to palm himself over his cock just as she did, “You can start with this.”
With a chuckle, she sat up and pulled her shoes and gloves off before crawling over to straddle Steve’s lap. “Should I keep the wings and halo on too?” She asked rolling her shoulders to make the wings on her back move. Her hands went to work unbuttoning his jacket, tongue licking up residual blood from her soft lips.
“Don't you dare take those off,” he warns, reaching up to flick the halo gently, watching it swap on her head. Steve’s head tips back while she licks over his throat. “Why aren't you terrified?” he asks, a bit bewildered by her will to accept what was happening.
“That’s the thing,” she pulled away to look at him, still working away on Steve’s jacket “I am terrified; borderline scared shitless. But here’s the thing,” the angel gave him a warm smile “It’s kinda like a present; you can put as much wrapping paper and ribbons on it as you like, but it doesn’t change what’s underneath it all.” She sits back on her heels “You’re still Steve. You’re still the same charming, sweet, caring guy that I feel for years ago.” One hand went to her eyes to wipe away a few stray tears.
“Plus…” she laughed “You cried in the middle of Alien over because of how scared you were for the cat.” She leaned in to kiss his neck “not exactly cold blooded killer material.”
“You're crazy,” he mumbles, a bit amused at her confession before, bringing a hand up to palm at her breast. “Don't worry, we can play around, but I won't kill you. I happen to like you a bit more than the rest,” he confesses, tipping his head to the headboard, lips parting slightly as she begins sucking at the skin there, rolling his eyes at her words. “Who knows, maybe I've changed. Maybe I'm the monster everyone thinks I am.”
“If you keep calling yourself a monster I’m going to give you blue balls and leave,” she said while learning a particularly dark hickey on Steve’s neck. She pulled away and finally finished unbuttoning his jacket “the only monster here is your outfit” she said with a huff “I don’t want to ruin it, but it’s trying my patients!” Her hands slipped down to undo his belt and pants, slipping her hand inside to wrap around his length.
Rolling his eyes he tugs on her hips harshly before pushing her off and climbing over her. The girl falls back with a resounding “Oof!” as Steve pins her down. “Quite the mouth you have on you, huh?” He works his pants open before pulling his cock out with a slight groan, slowly stroking himself. “You said you wanted a taste of everything?”
She’s taken aback; “Christ he’s massive!” She thinks to herself. “I told you, I’m new to the angel business,” she chides “but yes, I did say that.”
With a smirk, Steve moves his hand down, tugging at her bottom lip and letting it plop back into place. He shuffles over her, straddling her torso, cupping the underside of her jaw. “Open up, then.” He slowly rubs the flushed tip over her lips, biting his own with a hum.
The angel beneath him opened her mouth, sticking her tongue out to flick the angry, red tip. One hand gripped Steve’s thighs while the other reached to guide his cock into her mouth, letting out a soft moan.
He gasps as she takes him into her hot mouth, clenching his jaw to keep himself from thrusting himself as deep as possible into her throat, a hand coming down to pull off the halo. “Not so angel-like to have a cock down your throat, you know?”
She lets Steve’s cock slip out “Are you sure it’s not my mouth that earned me my wings?” she asks with a mischievous smile before taking his cock back into her mouth – bobbing her head and swirling her slick tongue around him with a hum.
He grips her hair, pushing himself back inside he is pressed up against the back of her throat. He gazes down at you with a knowing smile “We’ll see...” He groans slightly before picking up a pace, enjoying every bump and ridge her mouth has to offer.
She moaned around his cock from Steve tugging her hair, causing his cock to slip. Her eyes watered as she started up at him. But she grabbed his thighs and pulled him back in again. It was hard because Steve was both long and thick, but she wanted to make the man above her feel just as good as he did to her.
Steve moans as he steadies himself against the headboard before beginning to fuck into her mouth. She was pulling all sorts of sounds from him, a hand raking through his hair as it flops in his face. Spit dribbled out of the corners of her mouth as the man above her came undone. The smell of Steve’s cologne and natural musk assaulted her senses, as her fingers worked to massage his balls. She hollowed her cheeks around him she squirmed underneath him, rubbing her thighs against each other.
“Such a sweet angel, takin' my cock down your throat,' ' he chuckles, almost amused by the contradiction between her actions and her costume. “Dressed all innocent f'me just so I can ruin you, make you the dirty girl I know you can be,” he stops, pushing her head down and keeping it in place while pushing in slowly. His jaw slackened by each inch that goes inside of her mouth; sliding into her throat and wiping a stray tear before staying there, admiring the way her lips stretch around him.
All the young woman could do was let out a soft whimper of acknowledgment from his teasing. Her eyes pleaded for Steve to touch her, but they soon went wide. She slapped his thigh; she needed air.
Through his pleasure, Steve registers her silent request and he pulls off. His cock glistening with her spit as a web of it snapping between the flushed tip and her lips, he looked down at her and moved off of her. “What do you say? Think I can ruin you now?”
Breath ragged, she pulled herself to a sitting position. “Christ Steve…have you always been like this?” She asks while motioning to his cock “Or is that a new thing for vampires?” Her hand slips down to her clothed core to finally be able to touch herself, her head rolling to the side and a soft smile on her face.
“Like what?” he asks curiously, following the movement of the hand before urging her to show him how she touches herself. He’s looking up at her, waiting for her answer, his fist giving his straining cock a few tugs.
“You know,” she said with a huff and cheeks flushed “being that big.” Her hand dipped under her panties to take a swipe at her pussy, letting out a strangled moan “Fuck…” Steve’s free hand grabbed her wrist to see how wet she was.
His hand swipes through her folds, grumbling something about how wet she was under his breath before huffing out a laugh. “Yeah, actually. Got some girls backing out because they were too scared, but you're not, right? You're a brave angel and you'll take it all.”
She shrugged “Brave, crazy; same difference.” Her jaw falls open when she feels Steve’s fingers brush her just right, his cold skin nudging her clit. “Oh my god…” Her bandaged hand pulled his hand closer, whimpering for his attention.
He smirks proudly at her reaction, her skin prickling with goose bumps because of his cold touch while she tugs his hand closer. “If you're acting like this when I barely touch you, I can't imagine how you will when I put this big fucking cock inside of you,” he teases, pinching her clit.
A small cry escaped her lips, but they soon turned into a smirk. “I’m surprised you haven’t tasted the rest of me yet. I’ve been told I’m very sweet.” Mentally she was thinking that she was going too hard; that she was playing with fire by egging on a vampire as intense and cocky as Steve Harrington. But she was – for all intensive purposes – a brat. Even before he became a vampire, she loved to tease Steve.
“Maybe I'm saving it for round two,” he proposes, leaning closer to her ear with a hum, fingers pulling out of her underwear. “One thing about vampires, they have insane stamina...so I might take you up on that offer.” Crawling down her body, his teeth barely nip at her stomach, licking the little droplet of blood before moving lower. Coming face to face with her clothed cunt and her dress now discarded on the floor. All that was left was some flimsy material covering her pussy. Tugging with his teeth at the waistband of her panties, he lets it snap back into place before pulling it off, brushing the tip of his nose over her inner thigh, pressing his lips to it before moving up to where she was dripping for him.
She stammered as she’s pushed back down on the bed. “Round two?” “Stamina?” Dear lord, she really was playing with fire! This was a whole different type of danger. Her mind was going a million miles a second and empty at the same time until she felt the snap of her panties. “Ah-fuck!”
“And then three, then four, then five...” he teases, seeing the amazed, yet terrified look on her face. Throwing her one more look, he hums before pushing his face into her cunt, beginning to lick at her, thighs over her shoulders.
The loudest gasp fell from her lips - “Holy shit! Steve I-…” Her train of thought was cut short as she felt him pin her legs above her. “Oh my god baby…fuuuuuuck!” Her uninjured hand shoots down to grip onto Steve’s hair.
Steve kept her folded in half, his hands at the backs of her knees. He pushes himself with her clit, rapidly working against it with moans and grunts as she tugs and pulls at his hair just as she wills. As if she couldn’t be any more stimulated, she felt Steve’s fingers prod at her folds. He brings his hand to her entrance, swiftly pushing two fingers into prod and searching for her sweet spot. Her moans are muffled from burying her head in the pillows. “Holy shit! How are you…fuck…how are you so good at this?! God-!”
As she moans, sound muffled so his nails dig into her leg “Look at me,” he urges, leaning down to her clit again while keeping his eyes on her.
The angel pulled her head back and forced herself to look at Steve. Her pupils were blown and the knot in her stomach grew tighter. “Oh god,I-I fuck I’m getting so close already,” she said, her whimpering getting louder. She pulled her uninjured hand back up and bit down on it to keep herself quite; fearful that someone else might bear them.
He moans against her, eager to receive the show which is her, cumming all over his face and fingers. Steve’s long fingers were now getting bolder and faster, as did his tongue working her closer to the edge.
“Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck! Fuck Steve! Just like that! Just like that!” Her voice was getting higher and her breathing became shorter. “Oh god Stevie shit- please!” She was practically begging at this point when the knot in her snapped and her orgasm slammed into her, crying out his name.
Steve groans lowly as he coaxes her through it, he leans his head to the side, licking over her inner thigh. “Think I can have a taste here too?” Steve asks, his eyes gleaming.
Once she has calmed down she lets out an exhausted laugh. “I’m pretty sure you’ve more than earned that, honey,” she says while brushing a strand of hair away from Steve’s face.
Nodding against her, Steve’s dark eyes stay locked onto her thigh before he leans forward and sinks his teeth into her inner part of her thigh; immediately indulging in her blood. He rolled his hips down against the mattress with a strained moan, eyes rolling back.
She winced a little from the pain. “Mmmmmm, that’s it baby,” she cooed as she stroked Steve’s head. The sight of the man grinding his hips into the mattress making her chuckle, “Does my blood turn you on, Stevie? Does it taste better than my cum?”
Steve answered with a silent nod against her thigh; he stops his hips with one last rock, not wanting to rile himself up more than he already was. He licked the remains of the blood which slowly dripped out. “M'so fucking hard, god it hurts, can I fuck you now?”
She leaned down and captured Steve’s lips with her own, the taste of her own blood and juice making her moan. “Awe poor baby,” she leaned in to kiss behind Steve’s ear “Do it…please fuck me, Steve.”
Steve was not wasting any time before he's hovering over her, pulling at his pants and pressing his flushed tip to her entrance. Her walls were still fluttering shallowly as the remains of her orgasm faded away. Slipping a hand around her neck, he squeezes, leaning in for another kiss while slamming in suddenly, shuddering at the warmth of her. She rolled her hips to tease his angry cock against her folds, but was forced back against the bed when Steve slammed into her, burying himself to the hilt.
“Mmmmmm fuuuuck!” her hands grabbed the man by his forenames, her head spinning from lack of oxygen and pure want.
His head close to hers, Steve’s lips parted and panting against her temple, pushing even closer into her. His cock nudged her walls as the grip on her throat slackens slightly, letting her breathe for a moment. “Even better than I imagined, shit...”
“You’ve dreamed about me? About this?” She asked through gasps of air. “H-How long?” Steve felt massive compared to her past lovers, then again he was. It was no shock that a man who is almost six feet tall would be well-endowed. But Steve was a whole different breed of big.
“So fucking long, you have no idea,” he breathes out against her ear, giving the first tentative move of his hips, groaning into her ear. “All the time I’ve jerked off thinking about you. God you have no idea!”
Her cheeks turned into the prettiest shade of pink over Steve’s words; as his hip started to move. “Oh my god…m-me too. F’so long…” moans kept cutting her off midway. “I’ve-fuck! Steve you feel amazing!”
Pulling away from her, he sits up on his knees, slowly grinding his cock into her teasingly. “Does my sweet girl want to be fucked, hmm?” he asks teasingly, wanting her to beg for him.
“What? Nooo!” the angel whined, her hands reaching out for Steve “you’re so mean!” His eyes sparkled with mischief in the light. She looked up at him with her doe-eyes wide “Please…”
“Shh, it's okay. How can I say no to a pretty angel like you?” he coos, sliding back in and picking up a pace. He cursed under his breath at the sensation before he grips the headboard with one hand, the other latched onto her hip.
“Fuuck~” her back arched as her walls hugged Steve’s cock “Oh fuck Steve!” Her arms wrapped themselves around his back, digging her nails into his freckles skin. Her eyes met his, her lips parted; “Steve…” All that mattered was this very moment: her and Steve Harrington. His cold hands exploring her body, his skin slick with sweat and blood, Steve’s dark eyes boring into her soul.
She was afraid, but not for the original reason as before. Those dangerous three-letter words were caught in her throat. They’ve been stuck there for years. Steve did say he wanted to let her live; that he’s wanted her for years, but she was afraid.
Did he only want her for just a quick fuck? For food?
What’s going to happen when all is said and done; “Yeah that was a great time. Goodnight and maybe I’ll call you later?” Then immediately ghost her? What if she says them…right now? Will it make him stop? Will he shut her out?
“God baby...” Steve’s nails push into the plush skin of her hips in tandem with hers, his back arching into her, pressing closer and seeking out the warmth he's been lacking. His cock continuously nudging at her walls, he bites his lip tightly, looking down at her through hooded eyes. “You're so...so gorgeous....”
Steve’s words snapped the angel back to reality. For the first time tonight she saw the eyes she fell for before. Soft, warm, a little playful – flacks of hazel and amber brought out by the lamplight.
“I love you.”
His hips stuttered at her weak words, barely hearing them. “W-what?” His rhythm slows down slightly, letting himself breathe again. “What did you say?”
Her body was burning up; both from pleasure and fear. “I said ‘I love you,’ Steve,” she said, her eyes wet with tears, fearful of what’s to come. If her life is going to end tonight, she might as well go without guilt haunting her heart. It felt like a ticking time bomb; either way it’s going to blow.
His eyes almost bulge out of his head, swallowing tightly as he falls into silence. She looks back up at Steve, her eyes searching his handsome features for some semblance of an answer. Every second ticking by was draining her mind and body. “Please, say something!” she shouted as her voice shook.
“Why?” It's all that comes out of his mouth, still deep inside her, looking at her a bit baffled. “You love me? Don't think we're that close just yet, you might be confused or something.” Shaking his head, he says “It's the sex talking....”
The vice grip on her heart tightened more and more. “B-Because I do, okay?! I just do! It’s not the sex!” She sputtered. “I’ve always had feelings for you Steve; since, I don’t know, 6th grade? Back when you didn’t even acknowledge Robin and I’s existence.” Hot tears spilled from her eyes. “You know what? Forget it! God, I’m so stupid!” She tried to pull herself away from Steve’s grip, but she was too tired and weak to get anywhere. “I should have just kept my mouth shut; should have just stayed home. God, I’m a fucking dumbass!”
She struggled more, but Steve still had a grip on her. She let out a shaky laugh “To think Steve Harrington, in any form, would ever feel the same way. No matter how much he flirted with me, how much he teased me. All those times he’d touch me or was nice to be were nothing! I’m just another bag of meat and blood.”
Reluctantly, Steve pulls out of her with a hiss, his heavy length slapping to his stomach and glistening with her slick as he pants. “I mean...I do like you, really like you, but I don't think I love you just yet...” he confesses with a shrug, only seeing her in a romantic way for a few months at least. “You're not…c'mon! Do you think you'd even be alive right now if I didn't like you; if I really thought of you as just food?”
She was just grabbing her dress and the remnants of her panties when Steve’s questions, his words cutting through the tension like a hot knife through butter.
“Just yet.”
You’re still alive.
You haven’t bled out just yet. You haven’t been bled dry.
You’re still alive.
He likes you.
She felt a calloused, cold hand tentatively brush her shoulder, finger gently tracing up her neck to cup her cheek. Steve turned her face to look into her eyes; soft, almost vulnerable. Could a vampire even be capable of feeling vulnerable? Nevertheless, Steve Harrington was telling the truth. Her bandaged hand reached up to hold the hand on her face. She felt the bed dip as Steve shifted closer to her. She leaned up and rested her forehead against his.
“I'm sorry for not being able to say it back,” he murmurs, leaning against her forehead, pressing his lips to hers with a hum. “But I like you, I really like you Y/N” he said seriously, his cock still straining, but not paying any attention to it.
She kisses him back, a soft smile growing on her lips. There’s still hope. She pulled away with a sigh, “I forgive you.” Her free hand traveled back down to Steve’s waist, tracing small circles on his skin just shy of his still-angry erection “Just know you like me too is enough.” The hand dipped down to trace up his cock, feeling him shutter.
“Fuck...we-we don't have to if you don't want to,” he manages to get out, not wanting her to feel forced into finishing what they started.
“Oh my, the big bad vampire is backing down?” the angel teases as she suckles on Steve’s neck “Don’t start getting soft on me now baby.” She pulled him back so he was on top of her again. “I absolutely want to continue, Stevie.”
Snorting slightly, his smile fades before leaning down to silence her, kissing her deeply. “Yeah, no chance I'm getting soft any time soon.” He smirks at his pun, fisting his cock before pushing the tip against her entrance again.
She rolls her hips to grind down on Steve’s cock; a small whine passing her lips. “Mmm fuck please Steve.”
“Please what? Want my cock again? Greedy angel...” Steve breathes out, pushing in again until he's buried to the hilt inside of her, relishing in the warmth.
“Mmmmmm fuuuck yes” she moans as Steve bottoms out inside of her. Her hands grip onto his back. “Shit babe…”
His body arches into hers as her nails dig into his skin, his hips picking up that harsh pace again, slamming into her over and over again, wanting her to cry out for him. Her breasts bounced with every thrust, her hair fanned out on his pillow. It was ironic to say, but the girl below him truly looked like an angel. Her voice calling out Steve’s name like a siren’s song; and it all was drawing him in closer to his own release. “You’re so fucking gorgeous Angel,” he groaned “This pussy...” Steve dipped his head down to feed from her again.
“Oh my god, Steve,” she moaned as she clung to him with all of her strength “I’m so close.” Her body trembled beneath him “Oh god, please Steve! Please let me cum! Please! Please! Please let me cum! Fill me!”
Steve pulled back to look into her eyes, her blood dripping from his swollen lips. He slipped one hand down between them to viciously rub her clit as his thrusts became sloppier. “You want me to fill you, Angel?” Steve teases and his voice laced with lustful venom. “Do it! Cum all over my fucking cock and I’ll drown this pussy! Drench it!”
Almost as if on cue, Y/N’s orgasm ripped through her body. Her velvet walls clamped down on Steve as he lost all sense of control. His hips slammed into her at an unrelenting pace before he too became undone; painting Y/N’s insides with his seed.
Steve didn’t expect his own orgasm to be as intense as it was. Like he said before, vampires have incredible stamina. But here he was, clinging to the girl below him as if she was about to be blown away by a gust of wind. His breath was ragged and Steve felt like someone just ripped a blindfold off of his eyes. Steve’s bedroom was too bright, his body felt sticky, and his cologne was too strong. The parties going on downstairs was too loud.
Oh shit, the party!
Steve Harrington finally came back to his senses and shook off the last of his post-orgasm brain fog. He looked down at the angel that just rocked his world, his dark eyes looking her over for signs of life. “Shit shit shit! Hey!” Steve shook her lightly as he called out her name. Sheer panic pumped through his veins; “please don’t be dead!”
The young woman was very much alive, albeit a little delirious from having her brains fucked out of her. “Mmm yeah?” she asks with a dreamy sigh.
“Oh thank god you’re alive,” Steve says to himself if anything.
She let out a chuckle as the woman propped herself up on her elbows “Of course I’m alive, you dork.” Her tired eyes still sparkled with wonder and affection like before as she looked at Steve. “Honey?”
“Yeah?”
“You’re crushing me,” she said.
“Oh fuck!” Steve pulled himself back on his haunches and gently pulled himself out of her with a hiss. “Sorry about that,” said Steve sheepishly “I uh – I’ll be right back. Okay?” Steve hops off the bed and scrambles to put his clothes back on.
“Okie dokie,” she replied with a relaxed giggle as she watched Steve struggle to button his jacket.
Even without the slight hiccup (if you wanted to call that sudden confession that) Steve Harrington was completely spent. Everything was too bright, too loud, and he needed to make it stop. He scrambled out the door, hair disheveled and his shoes long gone, and crashed right to one of his servants. “Carter!”
“Ah Master Harrington!” the young man exclaimed as he tried to back onto his feet. Steve offered a hand and pulled Cater back up “What is the matter? Is everything to your liking?”
“Yes! I mean no! I mean,” the older man shook his head before trying to speak again “Fuck! Everything is good. I think it’s time we wrap everything up.”
Carter looked at his boss dumbfounded. “You want to end the party now?” He takes out his pocket watch to check the time “But sir it’s not even 2AM. I would have figured you would have wanted to stick to the scheduled 5AM cut off.”
“Well there has been a change of plans,” Steve replied while pacing back and forth, biting his thumbs in deep thought “Have the others make sure our guests aren’t too intoxicated to drive home. Anyone who is can stay the night in one of the spare bedrooms. Oh! And make sure Robin has the nicest guest bedroom for her stay.” That pacing soon turned into Steve running down the hall, barking out orders to whatever staff he came across. Vampires are known for their speed too, and usually Steve would be doing everything in his power to not show off his newfound skills. But right now he didn’t give a damn. His body felt like he stuck a fork in an electrical outlet.
Steve Harrington – in all of his chaotic and disheveled glory – ran straight to the top of the stairs that overlooked the dance floor, his eyes wild and frantic. “Everyone out!”
The people below looked up, murmuring to one another about their host’s sudden change in demeanor. “He can’t be serious, can he?” asked one man. “Seriously dude?! The party is just getting started!” shouted another.
A borderline demonic snarl came out of Steve as he screamed from the balcony: “Get out!”
Whether in fear for their safety or just fed up with the host’s hostile change of heart, everyone in the mansion slowly made their way out to their cars. A few were able to stay behind and - per Steve’s request - stayed in one of the dozen guest rooms. Robin and Vikki were blessed with sharing the largest and nicest of those rooms, which was one part for Robin’s safety and ten parts Steve being her top tier wingman. As soon as the coast was clearer, Steve turned to the small army of servants and dropped to his hands and knees.
“M-Master Harrington!” exclaimed Carter “Are you..”
“I’m sorry!” Steve blurted out, his forehead laying flat on the marble floor.
“Excuse me, sir?” asked one of the maids.
“I’m so sorry for yelling at all of you! I’m sorry for being an asshole all of the time!” he continued on, never lifting his head “I’m sorry for everything I’ve put all of you through!” Steve soon got back on his feet with a huff. “I’ll help you all with the clean up in just a moment, I just…”
Carter, who has known the Harrington Family for decades and Steve along since birth, puts two and two together in his mind. He walks over and places a firm but gentle hand on the young man’s shoulder. “It’s okay, Master Harrington. I got this.” The man turns on his heels and claps his hands “Alright everyone! You heard the Young Master. Let’s get our overnight guests situated.” He looks over to one of the maids “Miss Abigail, could you make sure that Lady Buckly and Lady Lee have fresh towels and a change of clothes for the night?” Abigail gives her boss a quick nod and scurries off to the laundry room. Carter continues on giving orders to the rest of the staff while Steve runs to the kitchen.
Steve flings open cabinet doors, searching all over for something. “Fuck! Where did I put the good First Aid kit?” he said to himself, “She’s gonna need something for her headache later…and the bite marks.” He starts to pull at his own hair in frustration. “Come on Steve, think!” A gentle tap on his shoulder lets him know that Carter had finished instructing the others.
“Are you looking for this?” Carter asks while holding up a red plastic box with the words “First Aid” on the front in one hand. In the other was a glass of water and a small packet of ibuprofen.
Steve took all of the items from him, placing the unopened packet between his lips. He gave Carter a curt nod of appreciation and a muffled “Thanks” before shooting back upstairs to his bedroom. He freezes as soon as he reaches his bedroom door. “Why am I so freaked out? I mean, yeah. I like her. Like, I like her a lot. But why is my heart racing? I thought I didn’t have a heartbeat anymore,” Steve rambled on to himself before shaking his head and opening the door as quietly as he could.
What he saw took his breath away; Y/N was curled up in his bed fast asleep, a peaceful smile on her face and wearing nothing but his button down shirt. She didn’t look to be in any sort of pain or distress from having been bitten all over; just exhausted from her ordeal. Steve cautiously walked over to and placed the glass, the first aid kit, and the medicine on the bedside table.
“Y/N?” he whispered, his long fingers brushing a strand of her hair out of her face. A small groan let Steve know that the girl was, in fact, still alive and somewhat capable of listening, which made him let out a sigh of relief. “Sweetheart you have to get up and get cleaned up first before going to sleep.”
“Pancakes,” she replied softly.
“What?”
“You asked me earlier what I wanted for breakfast,” she replied “Could we have blueberry pancakes tomorrow?” she asked. Her eyes opened ever so slightly to gaze up at Steve and the smile from before letting out a sweet giggle.
The young man let out a laugh and kissed the angel’s forehead, “Of course, my Angel. Whatever you want is yours.” Without you noticing Steve had gone into his bathroom and returned with a warm washcloth to clean her up. No way in hell was he going to subject this saint to a shower or even a full bath. Once he was done Steve simply tossed the rag on the ground and joined her in bed. His strong arms pulled the young woman close to him, wrapping himself around her like a blanket.
Little did she know, Steve Harrington was finally satisfied. He also was a dirty rotten liar about what he said about his feelings for Y/N. He didn’t like the woman.
Steve Harrington was completely beside himself; totally enamored and hopelessly devoted to Y/N. Even if her blood wasn’t the most delicious thing he’s ever had; a true aphrodisiac, Steve had been drawn to her charm and sweetness for so long. In one night Y/N Y/L/N had completely upended all of his plans for the rest of his life. He was already making a mental list of what needed to be done for His Angel to move in with him. Steve was ready to make this girl as many blueberry pancakes her little heart desired.
This young woman had tamed the devil himself. This angel was, in every sense of the word, his last meal.

So heres my story
So I have an older brother who we spend, well a lot of time together. Go to movies play Dungeons and Dragons. I did my laundry at his place and cleaned his apartment atleast once a month. We were roommates for almost three years.
My brother has asthma, his new roommate has Diabetes. And because of the nature of my job, I’m a hairstylist, i’m at a high risk of contracting Covid-19 (Im in close proximity to strangers all day long). Because of that and my brothers health issues and his roommates were not going to be able to hang out until this is all over
Then, the other day he sends me a message telling me that if he dies he has a life insurance policy that im the beneficiary of. And he told me how he would want me to spend it Hes been self isolating since like March 15th so its unlikely hes going to catch it. But hes all I have left. Our dad died 5 years ago and our mom 14 years ago. All of our grandparents passed away the last one this past August.
I know hes just preparing for the worst but, I just cant handle the thought of being all alone in the world. Just me and my cats
Now on top of all of that I was laid off a week ago today. The franchisee of my salon says he’ll reopen as soon as he can but as of right now i have 4.87 in the bank. I have 3 credit cards but I maxed them out trying to save money and getting to and from work (which is a whole other story, I dont have a drivers license or a car, I was supposed to have my last driving lesson tomorrow but because the DPS is closed indefinitely the driving school postponed my driving lessons) I would take a lyft to work, which would usually only cost me about $8, and thats on the high end, but Lyft was jacking up their prices and I was spending about $12.
My rent is due, I got the late fee waived because I was laid off but I still owe $135. My power bill is due, its $65
I’ve signed up for unemployment and ive been tentatively approved for 387 a week. I’ve also signed up for temporary food stamps so I’m hoping that goes through soon or atleast I hear something back about it
Yeah so I’m a little stressed out

In today’s episode, they are going to dive deep into the inspiring story of Jeremy Knauff.

He is an entrepreneur, digital marketer, author, proud father, husband, and a US Marine Corps veteran. Today, he runs Spartan Media, a digital marketing agency where they provide web design, SEO, social media, and PPC marketing services.
“A lot of the people I work with come to me because they have a website but they aren’t getting enough new business out of it. Other people come to me because they’re losing business to competitors, or because they don’t think their website presents their company to potential customers very well, or even because they’re starting a company from scratch and they don’t want to screw it up and waste a ton of money. If that describes you or sounds like anyone you know, let’s connect.” – Jeremy Knauff – https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremyknauff

All right. Well, welcome to the show, Jeremy. I appreciate so much. You've taken the time to come on and join me.
Jeremy (03:10):
Thank you. It's my pleasure.
Jay Conner (03:11):
You bet you. Well, as I mentioned to everybody here in the opening you and I are in a Mastermind together and a few weeks ago, I heard you speak on stage and I just really appreciated your authenticity and et cetera. But before we jump into your story of breaking through and living through the health crisis tell her about your background story and how you gotten to where you are today and tell a little bit about Spartan Media.
Jeremy Knauff (03:44):
Yeah, so I've had kind of a, an interesting ride. You know, I finished high school joined the Marine Corps, bounced all over the world there for a while. And then started my first business, which was a colossal failure. Pretty much lost everything went into massive debt from there. Spent a few years kind of rebuilding started my second company an agency, and ran that successfully for many years until the episode that you had briefly hinted at in the beginning here, when I had a health crisis that almost killed me. And then, you know, racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical expenses and bills and burn through all of our savings. Basically had to start over from zero, well from less than zero, really because we had racked up debt and, you know, then I had the additional challenge of starting over, which in the marketing world, you know, at that point, I was pretty much on my death bed for about two years. So there was no case studies, there was no examples, there was no clients. So I had to start over from less than zero at that point. And now here I am today.
Jay Conner (04:52):
Wow. So I want us to get into your health crisis story and lessons. We can learn from that, but before we do tell everybody about Spartan Media and what your company does.
Jeremy Knauff (05:04):
So Spartan media is a, basically it's a full service digital marketing agency, but what we've been focusing on lately is taking people and turning them into an authority within their industry. Right now the website doesn't really reflect that because the cobbler's kids always gets shoes last, but what we've been doing lately is taking people and turning them into an authority within their industry. So there's a particular example that I like to use. And that's this example was kind of the pivot point for me. At one point in time, me and a good friend of mine, I ran my marketing agency, he ran a printing company, a particular client together. You know, he did all the printing stuff, we did all the marketing design and all of that. Well, at some point in that relationship, he decided to sell his printing business and go work for client.
Jeremy Knauff (05:58):
And he quickly moved up to become the Chief operating officer. But then because of some things that happened with the founder the company was kind of in turmoil. And they got to a point where I think it was 19 franchisees were walking away from the organization. They were trying to organize a class action lawsuit. They had all kinds of online reputation management problems to deal with. It was just, it was a complete toxic mess from top to bottom, but what happened was because of all the things we were doing for them with the search engine optimization, the social media, the PR, all of the various marketing components. He went from basically having no experience, being nobody in the industry. I left out a piece. He, the founder had to step down and he had to step up and become the CEO because at that point, the relationships were just destroyed.
Jeremy Knauff (06:49):
So as a result of all of the things that we were doing for them, he ended up becoming so recognized. And so authoritative within his industry that last year, before all this COVID stuff happened, I was actually in DC with him. He was lobbying Congress on behalf of his industry. So he went from basically being nobody in that industry to now he's up here talking with congressmen and senators about the laws that affect that industry. So we develop that into a front end service where we basically take someone and turn them into an authority within their industry so that they can get more media coverage, get in front of more people charge more money and you know, make more profit.
Jay Conner (07:31):
So what is your like ideal client? Like what type of industries does your service work well for?
Jeremy Knauff (07:38):
Generally, it comes down to somebody in a, like a professional business services, right? So it wouldn't be necessarily good for a restaurant owner. I mean, although it, theoretically it could help them in some ways it's not going to have the same impact that it might for somebody like you, where you want to be recognized as the person to talk to when it comes to this kind of stuff, private money, hard money lending, stuff like that. So generally somebody that's in a professional business service is going to see the most impact from this.
Jay Conner (08:06):
Okay. That makes sense. Well, let's let's dive into your personal experience and your personal story.
Jeremy (08:13):
Yeah.
Jay Conner (08:13):
So I'm going to turn it over to you to tell that story, Jeremy, and I'll interrupt you when I think I need to.
Jeremy Knauff (08:19):
Okay. All right. So this one was a, this was an interesting ride. I touched briefly on the crisis itself, but basically what happened was I was kind of on top of the world, had plenty of clients had plenty of money. Everything was going great. And then out of the blue, I get hit with this, with this health crisis. And, you know, I went to every doctor under the sun. I was going to the emergency room three to five times a week. I was trying to figure this out. Nobody had any answers and it just kept getting worse and worse and worse. So, I was pretty much on my bed for the first two years of this. You know, we did all kinds of things from a pharmaceutical perspective, from a diet perspective, I was seeing all kinds of specialists. I was seeing, you know, things I would have never considered like, you know, energy healers and acupuncturists and all kinds of non-traditional approaches.
Jeremy Knauff (09:13):
And throughout the beginning of this, it was incredibly frustrating because the doctors didn't know what it was. So they just dismissed it. It was, Oh, well, you're having a, you're having a panic attack. You're having an anxiety attack. Well, I knew that wasn't the case, right? Because I had this pain from basically head to toe from the skin down to the bone and it was constant. It was 24 seven. And it was a level of pain that I have never felt in my life. It was a 10 on my chart. And to put that in perspective, I took a tattoo off with a drum sander once. All right. So I have an abnormally high pain tolerance. So I've got this excruciating pain in basically every cell of my body, no doctors have any answers. There's no idea as to when it's going to end.
Jeremy Knauff (09:58):
And there was a point where I'm walking around my house, as you know, as this stuff is going on. And I didn't mention this on stage, but I have a lot of weapons in my house. A lot of firearms I'm Marine, this shouldn't surprise anybody, but I remember walking around and I would see these weapons in various rooms. And I would be feeling this incredible pain. And I knew that there was no answer. There was no idea as to when it was going to end, how it was going to be solved? And I got to a point where I actually understood how people got to a point where they chose to take their life.
Jeremy Knauff (10:39):
And it got to the point where I actually took everything, disassembled, everything tossed in a duffel bags. And I called a friend and I was like, look, I, we don't really have anything to worry about yet, but I'm just letting you know that I may ask you to come pick these up and store them at your house for a little while. Right. So I've got all these thoughts that are just like, absolutely outrageous. Like I've never had these kinds of thoughts before. And then right around that time, one of the toughest guys I've ever met, a guy I served with, his name was Todd Grant ended up taking his life.
Jeremy Knauff (11:18):
And as Terrible as that situation was, I also feel like it was a sign, right? Like I'm going through this, this happens. And I figured at that point, this is going to be, it's a sign. And we're going to find a silver lining in this situation. And where I saw from that was, this is an opportunity to help fellow veterans. I don't know if you're aware of this, but within the veteran community, we're losing 22 roughly per day to suicide. So from that point, I made it my mission to, despite going through this insane health crisis, despite being in massive pain with no idea what the hell is causing it, or when it's going to end, or if it, if we even could fix it. I'm going to get out there. I'm going to get back on top. I'm going to serve as an example to the other veterans, to the other people who are struggling. Even non-veterans everybody, people who are struggling, people who don't know what they're going to do, they don't see a solution to their problem.
Jeremy Knauff (12:22):
And, you know, I began being very vocal about the challenges I was going through. I was very vocal about what's going on, what you know, how to overcome these things. I was just completely transparent in all of this. And at the same time, I started reaching out to people who I knew were struggling, fellow veterans, as well as civilians. And it got to a point where my number was just freely passed around. And pretty much everybody knew that if somebody was struggling, they could give out my number freely to anybody. And as a result of that, I, there are several people that I've talked to. I've probably counseled hundreds of veterans over the several years that this health crisis has gone on. I remember one particular one that was really moving for me. And that was a buddy of mine from high school, reached out to me one night and he's like, Hey, we've got this guy.
Jeremy Knauff (13:20):
You know, he just got back from Iraq. He's going through all these issues. We've sent him everywhere. He's gone to all the counselors. He's gone to all the, you know, the doctors he's done everything and nothing's working. And he's like, do you mind if I give him your phone number? I was like, absolutely, have him call me. So the kid called me we were out of town visiting a friend of my wife's. And so I take the call. I go outside and I'm talking to this kid for, I don't know, probably two, three hours, get him to a point where I think he's in a good spot. Come back in the house now because of my health crisis, I've got my phone set to where at a certain time in the evening, it goes into do not disturb mode. So it's not going to ring things will still show up on the screen, but it's not going to make any noise.
Jeremy Knauff (14:06):
So, I come back in the house just a few minutes after he and I had talked and I got this little thing that dings up on the phone, no noise, just notification on the screen, it's a voicemail. So I pick it up and listen to it. Cause it was, it was him. And I'm like, well, maybe, maybe something went wrong. Maybe he's still got a problem, whatever. I listened to the voicemail and he's just sobbing uncontrollably. And he's like, I just, like, I don't know what to say. I've talked to all these counselors, nobody's had any answers. And like, I talked to you and you just, you get it. And now I'm like, I'm in a place where I see a light at the end of the tunnel and I see what's possible. And like I'm in a, such a different place than I was even before I was in the military.
Jeremy Knauff (14:45):
And he's like, you know, just thank you. And it was just such an emotional message. And that's the kind of thing that I took out of this whole experience is the silver lining here is had I not gone through this? Had I not had this pain, had this health crisis, had all this stuff happened to me, lose everything, start over and get to a point where I understood how people could take their lives. I may not have ended up on this path where I started helping other veterans and helping other people who are struggling. So that was something that I think I took out of that whole experience, just, you know, to be able to give back into the world in that way and, you know, save people who are struggling in that regard.
Jay Conner (15:28):
Wow. That's amazing. So I know you can't summarize a three hour conversation in three minutes, but what I mean? So you've council just, you know, a lot of people that have had suicidal thoughts and, you know, really, I mean, one of my best friends in the world is I mean, he actually speaks at my live events and a few years ago he took his filter off. And I mean, he had actually gotten to the point of, you know, Googling, you know, how to commit suicide. He'd actually figured out how he was gonna do it. And so he's got his story, but for people that are out there and you know, when the times are going on now, average suicide rates are just out the ceiling before, you know, as compared to historically. But what are some strategies or some therapies that you could share that maybe you have as a common thread when you're talking to people?
Jeremy Knauff (16:42):
From what perspective, as far as like somebody, for somebody who's trying to,
Jay Conner (16:47):
Yeah. Obviously you listened to them in every story is different because every person is different. But is there a way you can share, what are some ways that you get into think about to get into a better place as you?
Jeremy Knauff (17:02):
Yeah. So ultimately you have to look at the situation as an opportunity because every situation is an opportunity provided that you can allow yourself to see it that way. You know, and this was what I went through in the beginning of mine. It was like, well, why me? Why this, this is. Why should this, why should I have to deal with this? But the reality is things happen. The why doesn't really matter. It's up to us to figure out what value we can take from a situation. So what value I took from this, you know, I'm going through this particular thing. And then on top of it, a guy that I served with took his life. Well, I had to find some kind of value in that. And that was how I was able to get through this because now, I mean, think about it, what the hell happens if I decide to take my life? All these hundreds or thousands of people who have been looking up and I've got this thing, I call it the cookie jar, and this is something we'll actually touch on here shortly. Cause this is another way that can help get through these. But like, I've got various messages that I got from people over the years of, you know, how my posts have inspired them or motivated them to push through this particular challenge or that challenge or whatever. So that's a good way to do that is, is having that, what we call it cookie jar, but, had I not done this, had I not found that value in it.
Jeremy Knauff (18:22):
I would not have gone down this path. And I know I don't have the exact count in my head, but I know there's a certain number of people who would not be here today. So, let's say that I didn't, let's say that I got to a point where I took my life. What the hell is that going to show to those people? So now that that meeting is there. That's something to carry me through no matter how bad things get. So as long as we have a strong, why we're going to be able to get through anything, that's why you see, you know, the military doing things that ordinary people can't do. It's because they have a mission and it's not just the mission on paper. It's not, Hey, go kill these guys or blow that up or whatever. It's their mission is the guy to their left and their right in combat.
Jeremy Knauff (19:04):
It's their brothers and their sisters. So when we have a strong, why we have a powerful mission behind what we're doing, that allows us to go through something. And that's why people in general don't accomplish their goals because they want to do it. If it's convenient, they don't want to do it no matter what, they just want to do it when it's nice and simple. So that's, that's one aspect is having a really strong why. The second aspect is the cookie jar thing that I talked about, where you basically take things that you've overcome in your life, right? Like we've all had some pretty terrible things happen to us. So if you can go back and look at those significant challenges, those difficult times and use those as motivation. It's like, Hey, I got through this, I got through that, I got through this.
Jeremy Knauff (19:51):
Then you can use that as fuel. Well, that's just another case of this, right? So now you just, you have that, it's like, I've already done this. Let's just do it again. And the cookie jar, you can look at it in a number of ways. You can have it be something in your head. You could have it be something tangible, like the collection of messages that I've got from various people. It could be, you know, maybe you've got a what a buddy of mine in the military used to call his, I love me wall, all the awards and the recognition and the things he had accomplished. When we have this kind of thing that shows us that what we've done has prepared us for what we're going through now. And I mean, you can even purely look at that from a physical perspective, right?
Jeremy Knauff (20:32):
You know, you look at what we do in the military, or you look at what an elite athlete does, and they're not, let's say you're going to go run a three mile race. You're not going to go run three miles. Your training is going to consist of you running, you know, six, nine, maybe twelve miles. You might do a series of sprints. You might do all these different things that are larger than what you're actually trying to accomplish. So when we look back at the things that we've actually done to prepare for what we're doing in the totality, we've already overcome the thing that we're facing. We just haven't put all the pieces together to realize that.
Jay Conner (21:06):
That is wonderful. Now, you mentioned a moment ago that people you get feedback from people really being inspired and helped with your post. Where could people see your posts and, you know, the types of things that you're posting?
Jeremy Knauff (21:23):
I mean, I'm pretty active on especially on Facebook, but I'm active on most of the social media platforms. I'm not a hard guy to find considering what I do. I'm pretty public and pretty out there. So Yeah.
Jay Conner (21:36):
So Scott, let's put Jeremy's name up there. And so folks, the spelling there is, and if in case you're just listening is Jeremy, J E R E M Y. And his last name is K N A U F F as in farmer farmer. And I guess it's okay to give out your email since we've got it up there on the screen.
Jeremy Knauff (21:57):
Already out there now. It's all over the place anyway. So it's all good.
Jay Conner (22:03):
There you go. So Jeremy says it's pretty easy to find him folks if you want to start following him, I've got one curious question I have is you've talked with all these people. You've helped a lot of people that have considered taking their life. Do you think, or have you heard back and I think I know the answer to this question. Have you heard back, or do you think some of those people that you helped are now out there doing the same thing you're doing and that is helping other people with that situation?
Jeremy Knauff (22:35):
You know, that's a good question. I stay in touch with a lot of them. I don't know if anyone's doing that, but I would hope so. Right. Like, I think that that's something we all should be doing, not just this particular topic, but whatever the topic, right? Like I think we all should be putting value back into the world. And if you know that you've already struggled with the thing and overcome it, then you've got that knowledge, you've got that empathy. You can deal with it in a way that others can't. So I hope, I certainly hope they are. It's. I mean, if you've already got the background, we need to be adding value back to the world in that way. So yes, I hope they are.
Jay Conner (23:10):
Well, you know, it all comes down to serving and I mean, clearly Jeremy, you have got a servant's heart and you said it beautifully, you go through this thing, you overcame the thing and now you can help others do the same thing. I mean, in my education business, the Private Money Authority, it's the same thing I was, no, it's not the same thing. You're not the same thing. The concept is the same. I was, I mean, I've been relying on local banks to fund my deals for the first six years of investing. And this story pales in comparison to yours as far as its importance. But I was cut off from the banks. Then every way to fund my deals, I found a great way to get my deals funding with private money. And then what I started doing two years after that is just teaching other people what I know to do. So, you know, or how to fix the problem now, a mentor mindset years ago, I said, you know, Jay, if people didn't have problems, they wouldn't need us.
Jeremy Knauff (24:17):
This is very true.
Jay Conner (24:20):
And guess what? the world is your oyster because everybody's, got problems. So as we wrap up here on the show final comments Jeremy.
Jeremy Knauff (24:32):
Final comments, I just, I guess, look for ways to add value back into the world. You know, too far, far too often people look at, Hey, what can I get out of this situation or this deal, or this person or whatever. When we look at how we can make something, a win for everybody involved, it creates more value as a whole, and we all rise. So I just think more of us need to take that approach.
Jay Conner (24:57):
Excellent. So one more time folks. Jeremy's very, very easy to find all the social media and all the platforms. Again, you spell his name, J E R E M Y. Last name K N A U F F as in farmer and his company, [email protected] If you are any type of professional and you're looking to be known as the authority and expert in your space, then you definitely want to check out Jeremy and his team it's [email protected]. There you have it. Folks, another show, Real Estate Investing with Jay Conner. I'm the Private Money Authority, and I'm wishing you all the best and here's to taking your business to the next level. We'll see you on the next show.

caution: alcohol, drugs, mental health, death.
°☼ ◜ xavier serrano, cismale, he/him ◞ ∗ ∘ good to see you again, calvin marx. you're twenty-three now, right ? i heard you’ve been streaming professionally on twitch … crazy how time flies. you were always known as the crimson. i’m glad to see you’re just as gregarious as always — and volatile, too .. kidding ! bella used to always mention it …you were her bad influence, after all. don’t worry, we’ll find her soon. what matter is that we’re together now, right ? not really. + thrift-store clothing, bruised knuckles, a scent of cologne & cigarettes. + watermelon sugar by harry styles.
...001. BRIEF HISTORY.
calvin grew up very underprivileged for the first 11 years of his life in brooklyn, ny.
his father died when he was 5 years old to a drug overdose, leading his mother became a single mother to him and his younger sister, essentially meaning that calvin had to grow up and be the ‘man of the house’ without having a choice.
because of her new single-mother status, calvins mother had to work 3 different jobs in order for the family to pay rent (a cleaner in mornings, a store assistant in the day and a bartender in the evenings), which meant she was rarely home and left calvin to raise both himself and younger sister.
from a very early age, it was apparent that calvin suffered from anger issues, dyslexia and adhd, constantly getting into fights at every opportunity, his complete inability to focus and never managing to make it through a week at school without a phone call home.
these issues remained untreated, due to his mother putting it down to the ‘boys will be boys’ ideology, and concluding that calvin was just an energetic one at that.
because of this, calvin fell into the wrong crowd pretty quickly and settled into his mindset that he was never going to achieve all that much anyway, because no matter how hard he tried, he could never score well on any test at school.
at the age of 9, calvins mother met, fell in love with and soon married a former client for whom she cleaned for. calvins new step father was incredibly wealthy, due to being a successful franchisee and also being very largely into stock trading.
calvin, his sister and mother were all moved to his home in wilmington, which calvin struggled to adjust to, as he missed his friends back north.
he quickly made friends with the clique as he was brought into it by jordan and it did put some ease on his pressure, but part of him always felt like he should still be back in brooklyn.
now having access to as much money as he want led him down an early path into experimenting with drugs and alcohol, which soon became a bad habit.
although he wanted to drop out of school, his new step-father would not allow it, which became a large source of conflict for the family over the course of the next few years.
failing to graduate high school at age eighteen, calvin couldn’t deal with living with his family any more and left the house to move into a small apartment, 30 minutes away, with a roommate (possibly a member of the clique).
calvins only real passions were for gaming and sport, and as he smoked and did way too many drugs to make it in any sporting profession, he turned his attention to twitch streaming. he began this pretty soon and built up a solid fanbase (which he wanted to call the marxists, but in calvins words, apparently some dead man already claimed that title).
...002. PERSONALITY.
calvin is a naturally angry person who can lose his cool and go from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds, he rarely gives off signs that he is getting angry until he boils over, so people tend to watch what they say around him.
calvin is self-serving, his feelings will always come before those around him. although he is getting better at managing this, if something will result in calvin gaining something at the expense of somebody else, he will most likely go ahead with it.
calvin is not well educated, so he doesn’t tend to enjoy arguing with words, as he can never seem to find the ones to correctly express how he feels. instead, calvin is much more likely to act physically when something has irritated him (whether this be on a person or inanimate object).
calvin is an awful liar, he cannot lie to save his life as his face always tends to show when he doesn’t agree with an idea/opion/thought that somebody says. because of this, he is very outspoken, and will just say what he’s thinking regardless of if it’s going to hurt somebodies feelings. he’d rather upset them with the truth, than get caught out for lying.
calvin is an extrovert and gains energy from being around people - the more people the better, because of this, he has become a major party animal and loves attending any and all parties that is going on, despite if he’s fond of the hosts or not.
calvin is a heavy user of drugs, alcohol & cigarettes. this is primarily down to his naturally addictive personality and constant need to feel like he’s happy, so that he doesn’t get sad again. there will rarely be a day where he will not be intoxicated in some way and he will have a cigarette at least once an hour -- and that’s on a good day.
calvin is very much into sports. although not a natural athlete, nor somebody interested in playing sports competitively, calvin loves watching any and all sports, and he likes to play them when he can. due to his smoking habit, he can’t play sports for too long, but will always give it a good go.
similarly to this, calvin is very much into gaming. calvin loves fast-paced games, because they manage to keep his attention despite him not having a very long attention span. most games that he plays are first person shooters, and he’s usually the guy on the mic screaming when a teammate fucks up during online play. a big appeal to him was that games were the only thing he could focus his mind on as a child.
calvin is very much a boys boy, he genuinely abides by the bible of ‘ bros before hoes ‘ because he’s stupid.
calvin hates movies but loves tv, he finds that watching moves involves sitting still for too long, but tv allows him to take more breaks and keeps his interest for longer. although. he’d probably trade both of them for a chance to leave the house.
...003. TRAITS.
[ G R E G A R I O U S ] (+) — a person fond of company; sociable.
[ I N T U I T I V E ] (+) — using or based on what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning; instinctive.
[ F O R T H R I G H T ] (+) — direct and outspoken.
[ V O L A T I L E ] (-) — liable to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse.
[ V E N G E F U L ] (-) — not willing to forgive or excuse people's faults or wrongdoings.
[ H E D O N I S T I C ] (-) — engaged in the pursuit of pleasure; sensually self-indulgent.
...004. BELLA KIM.
when calvin met bella, he never took too much of a shine to her, deeming her to be a rather fake individual and not understanding the rest of the groups investment with her. however, because he was a new introduction to the group and not there from the beginning, calvin felt he couldn’t really speak up and vocalise that without being dropped from the group himself.
for whatever reason, bella herself took a liking to calvin and he decided to use this to his advantage. for a girl with such a clean reputation, it seemed only the sensible thing to try and corrupt her -- which proved successful.
calvin introduced bella to the world of bad decisions and the two spent many nights breaking several laws and it created a sort of bond that only the pair really understood. they never talked about anything personal -- or, if they did, they were too high to remember -- but calvin saw a side to bella that not many others did, which he liked.
after moving out, calvin and bellas meetings became much less frequent as the group drifted apart. they would still meet up for occasional meet-ups, their last one being 3 months before the disappearance of bella.
calvin does not believe that she is alive and is dealing with it, as expected, not very well.
...005. WANTED CONNECTIONS.
CURRENT BEST FRIENDS — Possibly a boy squad? I live for a good boy squad. This person will have similar interests to Calvin, or be able to tolerate his volatile mood.
CHILDHOOD BEST FRIENDS — Someone with a similar upbringing from Brooklyn, most likely they grew apart when Calvin moved to Wilmington.
RIDE OR DIES — Although he primarily looks out for himself, I’m down to have Calvin have one person who he’s loyal to and will refuse to betray, we can come up with a fun reason for why he cares so much if you’re interested in this one.
HIS ROOMMATE — Somebody that moved with Calvin into his current apartment when he moved out at 18.
A GOOD INFLUENCE ON CALVIN — One of my favorite connections for Calvin to have is somebody who knows all of his flaws and attempts to help fix them. They’ll have to be patient, though, as Calvin doesn’t see himself for having any issues.
SOMEBODY HE IS A BAD INFLUENCE OF — On the opposite, I love when Calvin has somebody that he can introduce to bad things, corrupt easily and get a kick out of watching the commotion.
EXES ON BAD TERMS — Cheating on each other is usually an easy one to go with, but if you want, we can think of something more unique as to how it all fucked up and why they now hate each other.
EXES ON GOOD TERMS — Maybe they still occasionally fuck? There could still be an attraction there, but just no romantic chemistry. Alternatively, they tried it and both just couldn’t see it going anywhere.
EXES WITH LINGERING FEELINGS — There’s a ton of different reasons for why there’s still lingering feelings. The feelings could be one-sided or both ways.
EX FLINGS — Started as friends with benefits, one of them wanted more, the other didn’t, they decided to stop before someone got hurt.
FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS — No romantic intention, just a good way to kill time at 2 AM, or maybe it’s easy to know you have someone to go home to if you don’t find someone at a party.
FRIENDS FOR NECESSITY — This friend may not have that much in common with Calvin, they may not really get on in day to day life, but they are always there to get high, attend a party or do something dumb. an easy person to talk to when they’re both bored and wanna get out.
HIS YOUNGER SISTER — If anybody fancies a second character, I’m always down to have Calvins sister in the roleplay. They can either get along or not, we’ll just figure out the details.
EX FRIENDS — Used to be close but now aren’t, plenty of reasons as to why.
ENEMIES — Despise each other, seeing this person literally makes Calvins blood boil. Possibly sexual tension too if that would work, if not, they can just fight a lot.
WILL THEY / WON’T THEY — Lots of leading on and teasing each other, maybe they both think they’re stringing the other along but it turns out neither of them are interested? Maybe they start out not interested and it backfires later, by that time the other could’ve lost interest.
ANY OTHER IDEAS YOU THINK WILL WORK !
...006. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Calvin is bisexual but heteroromantic, so any sexual-based connections can be taken by any gender.
Calvins Pinterest can be located here. Please note that it contains triggers for alcohol, drugs, blood & violence.

An ‘Awe Walk’ Might Do Wonders for Your Well-Being (NYT) Consciously watching for small wonders in the world around you during an otherwise ordinary walk could amplify the mental health benefits of the stroll, according to an interesting new psychological study of what the study’s authors call “awe walks.” In the study, people who took a fresh look at the objects, moments and vistas that surrounded them during brief, weekly walks felt more upbeat and hopeful in general than walkers who did not. The findings are subjective but indicate that awe walks could be a simple way to combat malaise and worry. They also underscore that how we think and feel during exercise can alter how the exercise alters us. There already is considerable evidence, of course, that exercise, including walking, can buoy our moods. Past studies have linked increased physical activity to greater happiness and reduced risks for anxiety, depression and other mental ills. Feeling a sense of awe also seems to up our overall feelings of gladness and improve health. A somewhat nebulous emotion, awe generally is defined as the sense that you are in the presence of something larger and more consequential than yourself and that this something is mysterious and ineffable.
Trump flown to military hospital (AP) Stricken by COVID-19, a feverish and fatigued President Donald Trump was flown to a military hospital Friday night where he was given remdesivir following treatment with an experimental drug at the White House. The White House said Trump’s expected stay of “a few days” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center was precautionary and that he would continue to work from the hospital’s presidential suite, which is equipped to allow him to keep up his official duties.
Americans Increasingly Believe Violence is Justified if the Other Side Wins (Politico) At the presidential debate this week, the Republican candidate voiced his concern about political violence—left-wing political violence. And the Democratic candidate likewise voiced concern about political violence—right-wing political violence. They were both right. Our research, which we’re reporting here for the first time, shows an upswing in the past few months in the number of Americans—both Democrats and Republicans—who said they think violence would be justified if their side loses the upcoming presidential election. This growing acceptance of the possibility of violence is a bipartisan movement. Our data shows that the willingness of Democrats and Republicans alike to justify violence as a way to achieve political goals has essentially been rising in lockstep. Here’s what we’ve found: Among Americans who identify as Democrat or Republican, 1 in 3 now believe that violence could be justified to advance their parties’ political goals—a substantial increase over the last three years. In September, 44 percent of Republicans and 41 percent of Democrats said there would be at least “a little” justification for violence if the other party’s nominee wins the election. Similarly, 36 percent of Republicans and 33 percent of Democrats said it is at least “a little” justified for their side “to use violence in advancing political goals”—up from 30 percent of both Republicans and Democrats in June.
Number of Americans who have no trust in mass media hits record high (Gallup) At a time when Americans are relying heavily on the media for information about the coronavirus pandemic, the presidential election and other momentous events, the public remains largely distrustful of the mass media. Four in 10 U.S. adults say they have “a great deal” (9%) or “a fair amount” (31%) of trust and confidence in the media to report the news “fully, accurately, and fairly,” while six in 10 have “not very much” trust (27%) or “none at all” (33%).Gallup first asked this question in 1972 and has continued to do so nearly every year since 1997. Trust ranged between 68% and 72% in the 1970s, and though it had declined by the late 1990s, it remained at the majority level until 2004, when it dipped to 44%. After hitting 50% in 2005, it has not risen above 47%.
California milestone: 4 million acres burned in wildfires (AP) California is poised to hit a fearsome milestone: 4 million acres burned this year by wildfires that have killed 30 people and incinerated hundreds of homes in what is already the worst fire season on record. Flames have scorched an area larger than Connecticut and fire crews at a blaze in the northern wine country were on high alert as forecasters warned of red flag conditions of extreme fire danger into Saturday morning. Winds up to 30 mph (48 kph) were forecast to push through the hills in Napa and Sonoma counties as the Glass Fire, exploded in size earlier in the week, continued to threaten more than 28,000 homes and other buildings. “It’s a time of nervousness,” said Paul Gullixon, a spokesman for Sonoma County.
Hope in the haze (Poynter) In mid-September, as fires spread across Oregon, photojournalist Beth Nakamura headed to an evacuation site in Springfield. The air was thick with smoke at Springfield High School thanks to the Holiday Farm Fire. She found tables set up with food and clothing as she walked around, getting a sense of the site. Outside, behind the bleachers and onto the field, she saw something else. Belle, Batman and Superman were playing recess games. “It was like a mirage,” Nakamura said. The story she wrote the next morning captured that. “Against the backdrop of this grim, bewildering landscape, Belle sits on a bench and, with cheer and calm, begins to read. ‘All of us in this castle were put under a strange spell some years ago by a powerful enchantress,’ she tells the child seated next to her. ‘I’ve seen you in the movies,’ the young girl says, transfixed.” Amid staggering catastrophe, people are everywhere helping people. At a Holiday Farm fire evacuation site, a few dressed up as characters to comfort & entertain children.
Hundreds of earthquakes continue to rattle Southern California, USGS says (Sacramento Bee) Swarms of earthquakes continue to rattle the Salton Sea area in Southern California, with more than a dozen sizable quakes since midnight, the U.S. Geological Survey reported Thursday. Most of the tremors are below 3.0 magnitude, but a few earthquakes registering over 4.5 magnitude have been recorded, the USGS reports. The agency had recorded at least 240 quakes by Wednesday night. The quake swarms “are located in an area of diffuse seismic activity between the San Andreas fault in the north and the Imperial fault to the south,” the USGS says. Previous swarms happened in 1991 and 2012. The swarm most likely will continue for several days, possibly including quakes up to 5.4 magnitude, but there’s a slim chance of a major earthquake registering 7.0 magnitude or higher, the agency says.
New Layoffs Add to Worries Over U.S. Economic Slowdown (NYT) The American economy is being buffeted by a fresh round of corporate layoffs, signaling new anxiety about the course of the coronavirus pandemic and uncertainty about further legislative relief. Companies including Disney, the insurance giant Allstate and two major airlines announced plans to fire or furlough more than 60,000 workers in recent days, and more cuts are expected without a new federal aid package to stimulate the economy. With the election a month away, an agreement has proved elusive. The White House and congressional Democrats held talks on Thursday before the House narrowly approved a $2.2 trillion proposal without any Republican support. It was little more than a symbolic vote: The measure will not become law without a bipartisan deal. After business shutdowns in the early spring threw 22 million people out of work, the economy rebounded in May and June with the help of stimulus money and rock-bottom interest rates. But the loss of momentum since then, coupled with fears of a second wave of coronavirus cases this fall, has left many experts uneasy about the months ahead.
Subway’s bread (Foreign Policy) The Irish Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that the bread used by the popular fast food sandwich chain Subway can no longer legally be classified as bread due to its high sugar content, saying it is closer to a “confectionary or fancy baked good.” The case emerged after a Subway franchisee insisted it shouldn’t have to pay a value-added tax on the bread because it is a staple food, which doesn’t require the payment of taxes in Ireland. The law, however, states that in order for a food to be considered a staple, sugar cannot exceed 2 percent of the weight of the flour. Subway’s bread contains 10 percent sugar.
Europe moves to sue Britain over breaching Brexit withdrawal deal (Washington Post) The European Union launched legal action against Britain on Thursday, saying Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s attempt to rewrite the Brexit withdrawal agreement was “by its very nature a breach of the obligation of good faith.” In Brussels, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said legislation now moving through Parliament was in “full contradiction” to Britain’s previous guarantee to avoid a hard border on the island of Ireland. The E.U. is now sending a “letter of formal notice,” which could lead to a legal showdown in the European Court of Justice. Britain has a month to reply. Government ministers earlier acknowledged that their domestic legislation would violate international law. A British government spokesperson said Thursday, “We will respond to the letter in due course.”
After 2 Years of Paralysis, Belgium Forms a (Very Fragile) Government (NYT) For nearly two years, Belgium has been without a formal government, leaving a country that was already divided by language and politics to endure a pandemic with lame-duck caretakers wielding emergency powers. A fragile coalition government finally took power on Thursday, ending one of the longest political stalemates in the Western world. Cobbled together from seven political parties, the partnership keeps a growing far-right movement at bay for now and should allow the country to finally pass a budget and consider a Covid-19 recovery package. But the transition, which is set to be formally adopted by lawmakers this weekend, is not without risk. The governing coalition is now so large that any disagreement has the potential to topple it. And ushering in a new government means forcing out the ministers who have overseen the pandemic response—at a time when infections and hospitalizations are rising.
France announces new coronavirus restrictions as covid-19 cases rise (Washington Post) The French government Thursday announced a set of measures it said it was ready to impose to contain a rapid resurgence of the coronavirus. For weeks, the country has relied on a regional system to implement restrictions in areas where transmission rates of the virus are high. On Thursday, Health Minister Olivier Véran said Paris could soon join the “maximum” risk category, which would mean another complete shutdown of bars, restaurants and cafes. Some cities, notably Marseille, are already on the list. Paris so far has avoided further restrictions since a lockdown was lifted in mid-May. But Véran said that in the last 24 hours, the capital crossed multiple thresholds that make it a maximum-risk environment.
Vatican snubs Pompeo (Foreign Policy) Pope Francis declined to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during his visit to the Vatican on Thursday over concerns that doing so could drag him into the U.S. presidential election. “Yes, he asked [to meet with Francis,]” said Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s secretary of state, “But the pope had already said clearly that political figures are not received in election periods. That is the reason.” Pompeo has been pressing the Vatican to condemn China’s human rights abuses, especially in Xinjiang province. Despite not getting an audience with Francis, Pompeo still met with other senior Vatican officials, discussing religious freedom as well as their differences on China.
Harvest workers among COVID world’s last regular travelers (AP) Her hands were hardly visible, so quickly did they press the clippers before dropping grape clusters into red plastic bins. Some distance behind her, in the next row over, Italian students subbing in due to a pandemic-fueled worker shortage tried vainly to catch up. Alexandra Ichim had never worked in vineyards before traveling to Italy’s Lombardy region for the September grape harvest, known in Italian as the vendemmia—the pay is too low in Romania and the working conditions too harsh, she says. For the Italian work, the 20-year-old came on a 12-hour bus ride and returned by plane to her native Arad region when the harvest was done. Eastern European seasonal workers, led by Romanians, are considered essential to getting food on the table throughout the continent. Their willingness to work hard in uncertain jobs for lower wages is sought after abroad, and their income is desperately needed at home. At a time when travel for work is seen as dangerous for everyone, they are among the world’s last regular border-crossers. Around one in five Romanians works abroad. Italy is the top destination for 1.2 million of them, with France and Spain not far behind. Workers can make around 1,200 euros a month working eight-hour days during the vendemmia in Italy, versus around 700 euros for a month of 10-hour days in Romania.
Withdrawal or nothing (Foreign Policy) Azerbaijan has raised the stakes in its ongoing clashes with Armenia, demanding that the country withdraw from the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh as a necessary condition to restoring peace. “We have only one condition,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, “the Armenian armed forces must immediately and definitely leave our lands in full force. If the Armenian government complies with this condition, the fighting and bloodshed will stop.” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose country has strong cultural and military ties to Azerbaijan, echoed Aliyev’s statement while pledging Turkey’s full support for its “brother country.” Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and a commander of Turkish-backed rebels in Syria reported that Turkey has facilitated the transfer of hundreds of Syrian fighters from Syria to Azerbaijan; the Turkish government denies the allegation.
Indian phones to have government software installed (Times of London) India is said to be considering a plan to make it mandatory for almost all new mobile phones to have government software pre-installed, raising the prospect of the state being able to closely monitor citizens. The proposal is part of a wider plan for the country to establish its own app store, independent of those offered by Apple and Google, according to The Economic Times, citing unnamed government sources. It would involve pre-loading government apps on to Android phones, which account for 96 per cent of the market in India. One such app is Namo, which allows supporters of Narendra Modi, the prime minister, to view videos of his speeches.
Coronavirus sparks Philippines online barter trade (Reuters) In the middle of a coronavirus lockdown in the Philippine capital, Grace Lagaday was struggling to breastfeed her newborn without milk storage bottles and nursing pads. With shopping centres shut and public movement restricted, Lagaday turned to a centuries-old method of trade with a new tech twist: online bartering. A search of Facebook barter trade groups found the supplies she needed for her baby girl and they were in Lagaday’s hands the next day, in return for bags of M&Ms chocolates and a jar of Nutella spread. “For a mom who gave birth during this pandemic season, bartering helped me find good deals for my baby.” Lagaday, who has since traded clothes hangers for five kilograms of rice and an electric mosquito killer for two litres of cooking oil, is among hundreds of thousands of Filipinos who have joined Facebook barter groups in recent months. Reuters has identified just over 100 barter groups, some with as many as a quarter of a million members, have sprung up since the Philippines’ main island of Luzon, home to half its 107 million population, entered a hard lockdown in mid-March that lasted two months.

As short stories go, Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Masque of the Red Death” is very short. At 2,378 words it would qualify as a decently economical Jamboroo installment, and can be neatly summed up in a sentence. During a time of plague, a prince and his royal buddies repair to a well-provisioned castle, weld the iron gates shut, and throw themselves a heedless, non-stop party in defiance of the sickness ravaging the world outside, until such time as that party becomes immediately and entirely untenable. It’s a perfect story, but it’s not a subtle one.
If there’s any aspect of the presidency in which Donald Trump has come close to flourishing during his first term, it is the ceremonial one. To the extent that anything in his plummy, anxious, relentlessly public life prepared him for the job ahead, it was this. Trump has bobbed and leered through gaudy ballrooms all his life, blithely cutting the line at one buffet after another and demanding one more ashen flap of beef than any other guest is permitted, rising to Make Some Remarks at some point in the evening, and otherwise circling and circulating to receive the thanks and praise that are his due as host. He may enjoy all of that, but it’s just as likely that he doesn’t. Trump is not at these parties to have fun, anyway. He’s there because it’s the only place he can be.
The thing for him is to move, to collect whatever adulation there is and then to float on, leaving behind the absolute minimum of his own small self. The tribute he receives from these supplicants—the habitually divorced, the serial franchisees, the plump pink yachters and the reckless sunburned boaters alike—is fulsome but reflexive. It’s thin and vague and it doesn’t sustain him so much as it propels him ahead; it’s the continual rush of water through a shark’s gills that allows it to breathe. The other guests, the schools of smaller Trumps that push him around the room, are all mostly there because he is, but the party doesn’t really start until he leaves. It’s then, lit up with the memories of the moment when they saw some perfected and untouchable version of themselves in Donald Trump and were acknowledged by him in turn, that the celebrating starts.
“Staff and guests lingered after the president was there,” the Minnesota political consultant Blois Olson said of Trump’s private fundraiser at the home of a countertop company’s CEO in the state on Wednesday. “They sang karaoke, they had their arms around each other.” The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported that South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem was one of the celebrants, but between that fundraiser and a rally in Duluth and flights around the state with various Republican officials and Members of Congress, Trump saw a lot of people during his visit. Some percentage of them may now have picked up the coronavirus that Trump himself and numerous members of his executive entourage confirmed they had on Thursday night.
Again, the story is concise and perfect and not really remotely a metaphor. When Trump called Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Thursday night, shortly before the public announcement that he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19, he made clear that none of this was really anyone’s fault. “You know, it is very very hard when you are with people from the military or from law enforcement,” Trump said, “and they want to hug you and they want to kiss you, because we really have done a good job for ’em. You get close, and things happen.”
Like every story that Trump tells, this is both one he tells often and always to the same end. People just can’t help themselves around him, they come up to him with tears in their eyes—the big people, the tough and even rough people, the successful people and the real workers—and they need to be near him. Who could tell them to keep their distance, or to wear a mask, or take any of the precautions that some other citizens have taken because they are the only way to stop the spread of the pandemic that Trump has effectively chosen to ignore? Who would? “There are some who would have thought him mad,” Poe wrote of Prince Prospero, the decadent party’s decadent host. “His followers felt that he was not. It was necessary to hear and see and touch him to be sure he was not.”
The basic premise of Trumpism and the fundamental promise that Trump has made during his political career is that those who are with him will be treated one way, and those who are not will be treated in another, much worse way. Because of how Trump is—because of how avaricious and joyless he is, and because of how fearful and paranoid he is, and because of how unrelentingly aggrieved he is—this promise is fundamentally negative. Only the most powerful of the people that fell into formation behind him will receive any positive benefit from anything that he does; this is axiomatic, as Trump doesn’t do anything for anyone other than himself. Everyone that follows him understands and accepts this to some extent, and the less influential of those who lined up behind him either out of perceived interest or some rote and sour habit or pure servile instinct surely know as much. They also know that they will receive a more diffuse but still quite valuable dividend for their service, which is the certainty that they will never be treated as badly as the people on the other side.
That certainty is false, of course, but that doesn’t mean it’s not valuable. Trump has lived his life inside a curdled and childish belief that he can do and take and keep whatever he wants, without consequence, forever. As a sort of tabloid cartoon of a rich person, an adult Richie Rich that had somehow figured out how to use a smartphone and commit adultery, this delusion has served him decently well; the realities of his wealth and the structural forces that the country has built to protect people of similar fecklessness and similar means conspired to sustain it for decades. The version of this impunity that Trump sells to his audience is a cheaper reproduction, not sold in any store and available exclusively through this limited-time television offer, in which they can feel as invulnerable and unaccountable as him, and be just as lazy and just as cruel, without actually being anywhere near as well-insulated from the consequences of their actions. “I play to people’s fantasies,” Trump “writes” in the ghostwritten Art Of The Deal. “People may not always think big themselves. but they can get very excited by those who do.”
“That,” Trump continues, “is why a little hyperbole never hurts.” When it comes to building a brand or a public image, the utility of this sort of theatrical dishonesty is at least debatable. But the open secret with Trump is that there is nothing underneath all of this—not just no actual values beneath the pretend ones or actual product behind the pitch, but nothing at all. There is just bottomless idiotic appetite and unstinting demand, the urgency and endlessness of which makes any number of outlandish cruelties not just possible but inevitable. Trump is not the only person who is like this, but it may be that no one is more like this than him. Discernment isn’t on the menu, but it also fundamentally isn’t an option—admitting any kind of error or demonstrating any kind of vulnerability would mean not just defeat but a sort of death. The nature of this country and its economic and political depravities guarantee that such a person—someone rich enough and determined enough, stupid enough and frightened enough and selfish enough—can go a very long way. The idea of being that way is something that can be sold, because the shiny false certainty of it is something that people want to display, and feel themselves. It is a poisonous lie, but an aspirational one.
It is true that, from a public health perspective and a political one, Trump could have done any number of things to fight the pandemic that’s still spreading unchecked across the United States. But the reason he did basically none of them is that Trump is incapable of thinking of this challenge—of any challenge, really—from a public health perspective or a political one. These are abstractions to him, and as such much less interesting or important than his own comfort. Trump would and could not wear a mask because to do so would signal that he could get sick like anyone else; he could not tell the truth about what needed to be done to fight the pandemic, let alone actually do those things, because it would interrupt the story he prefers to tell about his own success. He could not follow or even accept the advice of scientists and epidemiologists because it would be a tacit admission that they knew more about this than he did. Most importantly, though, Trump could not care about what the pandemic does, about the communities it hurts and people it kills, because none of that is him; their deaths just don’t rate relative to his own discomfort.
And so the move, the only move, was to go on in denial, to push irritably and impatiently through the unrelenting fact of the disease behind the fantasy that none of it could ever have any consequences for him. His people followed on behind, not so much in denial as in defiance of the thought that any of this could possibly apply to them. The people that fly into rages upon being asked to wear a mask to protect other people and stop the spread of the disease would, paradoxically or not, also fly into a rage if the people serving them were not wearing masks themselves. This is because these people are fucking unwell, but it is also because that facile distinction between themselves and other people is a load-bearing one. It holds up the whole gilded edifice, until it doesn’t.
It was probably inevitable that Trump would get the virus, because the country is still awash in it and because he has refused to protect himself or others from it. It is, again, not really much of a metaphor that he himself seems to have become something of a vector for its spread in his own gilded circles. This is not a complicated story, or a long one. It’s the nature of a virus to spread, to move blindly from one person to the next, absolutely and always as illimitable as it is permitted to become.
Another excellent piece from David J. Roth, who has moved from analysis of the highly paid mediocrities of sports to the highly paid mediocrities of the current administration with great ease.

Structuring a Playschool Business in India
Taking up play school business is a stance that is gaining popularity among the entrepreneurs of India. The primary reason this venture as a business is gaining popularity is because of its lucrative nature in terms of low investment, even lesser legal compliances and huge outcome. Makoons, a popular chain of playschool franchisee provider quotes an ROI on its franchisee to be 200% in 4 years; such is the outcome of this business. Once settled, this business does not give you the stress like recessions and low impacts.
Analysis of the Market
Indian Pre-School/Childcare Market to Grow at 19% during 2019-2024, Propelled by Rising Women Working Population
The business model has a good cash inflow and potential of seeing substantial growth based on the entrepreneurial drive driving it. The potential of growth in this sector is humongous. Following are a few graphs that will show the potent growth in this business filed. The following graph shows how the return on human capital investment as a function of age is.
Structuring a playschool business in India – Process Chart
But no matter how lucid and easy going business field one might be in, one certainly needs a good business plan to grow aggressively in the market. As it is commonly said, a stagnant business/product is as good as a dead business. Therefore, to start a business too, one needs a good business structure. Here are a few items that are supposed to be in the checklist in starting a playschool business:
Selecting a business model
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/c965da88a29e47ab74aa5e7f20dd8f20/0d6ad6b50b5b533f-9e/s500x750/00d5eea931b749462fcf6b6b3398b6bbb9480bf7.jpg)
When one plans to start a playschool business in India, he has two options in hand i.e. either start his own venture or take up a franchise. Both of them have their own set of advantages and disadvantages.
On getting a franchisee, there are certain benefits like there are certainly advantages like:
· There is no requirement of aggressive marketing or campaigning that is taken care of by the brand-name holder.
· The terms set out in the agreement for setting up a business model is easier and has very low investment criteria.
Let us take a look at the top franchisors and the criteria they site
· Required investment for Kidzee Playschool is just Rs. 15 to 20 lakhs and the required floor area is 2500 – 5000 square feet
· The net investment to open a Makoons play school franchise in India is also under Rs. 12 -15 lakhs and the minimum required area is 1500- 2000 square feet.
· A Euro Kids play school is about Rs. 15 lakhs, and the required floor area is a minimum of 3000 square feet.
· One needs a minimum investment of Rs. 6 lakhs to open a Shemrock franchise preschool in India as well as a floor area of 2500 square feet.
· The cost of opening Bachpan franchise is 12-15 lakhs and area required is 2000 square feet.
· The return on Investment assured by this franchise is easy to achieve and are considerably high. The risk factor involved in such franchise business is very less.
· Professional support in terms of setting up the school (pre-defined infrastructure, staff and administration), managing it, getting market recognition etc. are some advantages of having a brand franchise.
Advantages
· One gets to handcraft one’s own business model. One can choose a partner and a scale of business investment of his choice.
· There is a certain degree of freedom as he is not bound by a standard form of agreement.
· He gets to apply his own expertise, entrepreneurial ideas into it and design an innovative venture.
Commercials
One of the important aspects before venturing into legal formalities is to have the commercial structure clear. What could be the source of funds? How much of debt or equity needs to be injected in the business:
Investment Required
1. Land and Building – Ranging from 1500 square feet to 2500 square feet
2. Capital Investment – Ranging from Rs. 8,00,000 to 10, 00,000 (depends on the scale of business.)
3. Furniture like plastic chairs, tables and classroom equipment’s amounting to 40,000- 80,000
4. Play equipment’s like rockers, slide etc. Also book racks, wall hangings and staff furniture needs to be considered
5. Appropriate Human Resources qualified to man the organisation. Minimum wages that need to be paid out is 80 rupees per day. 1 staff per 10 students and 1 teacher per 8 students. A venture like this typically has 30 -50 students large infrastructure can have up to 170 students.
The Return on Investment as quoted from famous franchises is approximately 2 to 3 years depending on the franchise and the scale of the business. Setting up a franchise is easier.
The process is as follows:
· A simple forms needs to be filled in their website.
· They are going to conduct the survey if one meets their criteria to select a favourable location, do the marketing and campaigning.
· You will be able to start a playschool with their guidance at every step.
· There are several portals which provide gateways to apply to these playschool franchises. Like www.startingfranchise.in
· But if the venture is one’s own, then certain factors have to be kept in mind before making an investment in order to reach an ROI. The factors that need to be taken care of are as follows:
· Geography – Parents till the initial stages of the growth of the child do not want to send their children far, therefore it has to be in a residential area with open spaces around. Again depends on the locality.
· Demographic Profile – Once the location is fixed, than one needs to look for the demography of the area. A place with a nuclear family would be more likely to send their children to play school than places with joint family where the child mostly gets its education from elders. Also it is advisable to keep a tap on the type of income group people that live there. It will help set the fee structure.
· Market Survey – Conduct a survey to find out the potential number of students and the preference of the kind of playschool.
Break Even Point
Step 1:
· From the industry standard, let us keep the Break Even Point (where both Fixed Cost and Variable Cost are absorbed) at 1.5 years
· The Fixed Cost is assumed at initial stage as INR 10, 00,000 (FC)
· The Variable Cost is expected to be 4, 00,000 (TVC)
· Also, we set a target to break-even our business in 1.5 years.
Step 2:
· Find out the annual fees that your competitors are charging to estimate your fees.
· Let’s assume that the fees charges would be INR 25,000 per student and the number of students to be X. Therefore the Total Revenue (TR) would be INR25, 000X.
Step 3:
Contribution = TR – TVC
· 25,000X — 4, 00,000.’
Step 4:
· We have kept the break even timeline as 1.5 years. Whatever is earned over and above our variable costs, will be used to cover the fixed expenses. Post that all earnings would be to be profits of the institution
· Divide FC by Contribution to get your breakeven period in years.
· Therefore we get the following equation:
· 700,000 / (25,000X — 400,000) = 1.5.
· The value of X stands as 34.67.
· Thus we need at least 35 students for first 1.5 years to realise all costs.
· Even after the breakeven point, the profit will be INR 4, 75,000.
3. Legal Formalities
In case of playschools, the legal compliances are very minimalistic. Thus the cost of litigation that may arise out of such process is also very less.
1. The Shops and Establishments Act is not applicable
In case of playschools, the Act is silent and one can run your playschool without a registering under Shops and Establishment Act.
Labour laws:
The following labour laws have to be kept in mind:
1. Provident Fund payments – If there are more than 20 employees the organisation has to abide by provident fund rules otherwise may be subject to penal provision under 14B of the Act of 1952.
Checklist of the same could be found at https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/
2. The Minimum Wages Act, 1948 – The minimum wages for primary schools is Rs. 80.
3. As per the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 – If there are more than 20 employees, one needs to pay a 1 month at any time during the year.
Forming the entity:
If you start your own institution, it can be done either as a partnership or as a Section 8 company or even an NGO under a trust. It is usually easier to form a partnership, and cheaper and quick to register. Forming a company can take up to 4 weeks, and costs around Rs. 35000. Be careful with the formation of the partnership deed and the profit sharing.
LLP in India has certain regulations which need to be abided by, according to the LLP Act, 2008 in India. Although the regulations are more than partnership firms but less than floating a company given the ever increasing regulations for companies under Companies Act.
Running it in a residential area:
Most playschools are located in residential areas. The first thing that needs to be looked into is whether the rental agreement permits it. Also, if it is an apartment or consortium or society apartment, the bye-laws of the apartment/association/ society consortium should be looked into for permits to run a playschool. Otherwise, there is no running a playschool in residential premises. Requisite permission has to be taken from the society it is operating in.
It has been decided by Courts in different states that a chartered accountant, yoga teacher and lawyer can carry on their work in residential premises so there is no reason why a playschool cannot be carried on as well, as long as the disturbance to neighbours is minimized.
Maharashtra Preschool Centres (Regulation of Admission) Act of 1996 or Tamil Nadu Private School Education Act:
These Acts provide for compulsory registration of preschools in certain state. Only in a few states, one needs permission from appropriate authority for starting preschool in Maharashtra. It should be education officer of Municipal Corporation who will provide with the certificate. However this is the only state where you need such permission. The procedure is broadly as follows:
· Name the institution. It should not duplicate
· Define your budget.
· Develop a preschool curriculum
Deciding a curriculum
The final step to see the business set up to reach its initial stage is setting up a curriculum for the day school. Most of the franchisee have international affiliations with Early Child Education curriculums which depends upon the type of playschool being formed Children of this age group are mostly very active and require engage in various activities. Their mindset is set to explore, observe and grasp and learn quickly. Their socio economic backgrounds may be different and so shall be their languages thus every child is different in terms of energy and understanding.
There can be different programs based on the age group:
Mother Toddler program for 13 months and 2 years of age: Mother Toddler program again is designed to help mothers understand child’s socialisation needs and help them develop their skills while playing.
Early Childhood Teacher training program (E.C.C)/Nursery teacher training program:
Such programs are aimed towards training students to be ready for pre primary or early school. Theory plus practical courses of 7 months are advisable for this stage.
Day Care center curriculum – It is a different sort of set up. Most of the parents are working and are unable to provide teaching time to their kids. Such parents look for quality preschools where their child could get proper early childhood education.
An ideal playschool curriculum fulfils all the requirements of a child. A typical preschooler’s curriculum includes a good mix of reading, preschool worksheets, writing and math exercises along with colourful fun preschool activities. Such wide scale of activities helps children in learning and developing their skills in all the fields. Children are quite fascinated by playful activities and colourful objects and also appreciate the playful moments. There are professional advisors who can help in developing a good playschool curriculum. It is advised to consult them because it is the first learning stage of the child and should not be dealt with.

Hello again, I'm the girl/artist who's aunt tried the old "I'm giving you experience and exposure" instead of paying me for some art I did for her real estate business. Just a quick update and then I'll try to let this fade away...
Hello everyone again. I feel bad about posting again because I'm totally not a karma whore but people seemed to be really invested in it and there were actually some people from the company in question who contacted me via this throwaway account so I figure I needed to give some closure (though the story is going to play out for a long time because it's my uncle/aunt's divorce is going to be ugly).
At this point I have no idea what's removed and why, what's still out there, what's been crossposted, etc... so for those who are just checking in I'll try to reset as succinctly as possible:
At the beginning of the year my Aunt Jay (by marriage) asked me to do some artwork for her new real estate business. We had a verbal agreement that she would pay me. She was demanding, insulting and shitty from the get go and I was out a ton of time, quite a bit of material costs very quickly. She wanted me to fly out on my own dime to finish up and paint a mural I designed. I asked for payment on everything I'd already done and she freaked out and screamed at me.
Tuesday, I went to my schools licensing/legal aid office, they helped me draft a letter to cease using my work and an invoice. Aunt Jay called my mom calling me an "ungrateful brat." Mom called Aunt Jay's supposed real estate company to say that one of their agents was not paying for services rendered. Company had no idea who Aunt Jay was. This caused my Uncle to look into things and it turned out Aunt Jay had taken out a few credit cards in his name only and maxed them out. Probably for her Escalade, new "real estate agent" wardrobe and office.
My update was Wednesday so in the following 2/3 days quite a bit more information has come to light about what Aunt Jay was actually up to. She's actually not in as big of trouble as I and everyone on the last post assumed but she's still pretty much screwed in several ways.
So first of all we learned that she probably never told anyone other than my uncle that she was working for the nation wide real estate company in question going to call it ProRealty (my last fake name may have been a little to obvious). It doesn't look like she had any clients, never brokered a single deal, she may have taken a few people around to look at houses but we aren't even sure about that. It looks like the "soon to be ProRealty franchisee" thing was just a lie to get my uncle off her tracks about where this huge influx of cheaply financed money was coming from. She had told him that ProRealty had financed her new Escalade and that they had helped her rent her office.
Since she never actually claimed to be a certified ProRealty agent in order to defraud people, it doesn't look like the company itself has any legal recourse against her. However my mom (extreme extrovert, opposite of me) who has become fast friends with the most senior agent in my hometown and he is (or has, not sure) going to report my aunt to the state board of real estate to have her new (as of last fall) license reviewed and probably suspended. Even if this doesn't happen, she is essentially blackballed from ever doing a deal with ProRealty and according this senior agent, something like 45% of home sales in my town happen with a ProRealty agent one either side of the sale. So even if Aunt Jay doesn't lose her license, she's effectively chopped half of her business potential right from the get go.
One thing that absolutely came out of my last r/prorevenge post was that two actual "ProRealty" agents commented and it was because of them that I was able to figure out a huge chunk of the puzzle. So the real life version of this company uses a very identifiable form of transportation on their logo but to keep this anonymous let's say that ProRealty uses a boat. When Aunt Jay was first talking to me about doing work for her she was oddly adamant that I don't use any "boats" in any of the work I was going to do for her. I mean actually forcefully direct instruction was "no boats!" In my head at the time I was like, I'm not one to paint boats anyways but point taken. Well as me and my family now surmise, while she knew she was already fraudulent, she was still trying to walk a line of not getting on ProRealty's radar in any way shape or form because she knew they could really screw up her plans if she were to be seen driving an $80000 Escalade around town with anything resembling ProRealty's "boat" plastered all over it. But to me it shows she absolutely knew she was up to no good and I hope this can be used in the divorce.
So onto my uncle, I don't know all the ins and outs of how separations and divorces work but as I understand he contacted a lawyer Wednesday afternoon and they were working to file some sort of emergency separation motion with the courts as soon as they possibly could in order to make sure she couldn't do any more financial damages to him. One thing that I thought was really cool of my uncle to do was that his lawyer did (or is in the process) of filing paperwork so she has to turn over all financial records and declare all assets related to her "business" and my uncle specifically asked the lawyer to include the oil painting and logos I'd already shipped to her. So while I'll never get paid, at least I may get my work back. The lawyer is also figuring out what to do about the identity theft.
One thing that is totally screwed up and I totally don't understand is that my uncle has pretty much paid for everything since they've been married (about 5 years) and Aunt Jay literally committed identity theft against him, he is still the one who has to leave the house so at least until he can get a place on his own, he's staying with my parents. My dad says my uncle is basically broken over this, that he didn't see it coming and actually bought into the bullcrap about ProRealty financing a car for someone who didn't even work for them. This makes me feel bad because I brought it all to light but my dad says my uncle appreciates it because Aunt Jay could have gotten in much deeper and she didn't really have a chance to try to and cover up fraud with more fraud.
So still a lot I don't know but this is where we are today. My uncles lawyer doesn't have a timeline for the divorce, I guess it will just depend if stupid Aunt Jay actually finds a lawyer who will put up a fight or if she just tries to fade away.
We'll see, thank you for reading, thank you for all the comments the other day and thank you to the posters who provided a lot of clarity with their knowledge of relationships and the real estate business.

WHY INVEST IN A PLAY SCHOOL FRANCHISE?
WHY INVEST IN A PLAY SCHOOL FRANCHISE?
Early years education trends and patterns have changed, so preschool franchisee opportunities have gained a significant place in this huge market. In addition to enhancing the quality of preschool education, this development has also upscaled the investment market. It is difficult to decide which preschool franchise is right for you unless you know how much to invest. Therefore, investment becomes an integral part of choosing the best play school brand. Before making a decision, you should always pay attention to the preschool franchise cost as it will determine when you will break even and when you will start making money. There are certain pre-requisites that keep you well within the defined limits and boundaries of a franchise business. If you are talking about why franchise business, it is clear that it is the safest option yielding stable returns. The opposite is true when you start a standalone play school. A standalone school requires many things and it must begin from scratch. For this reason, we bring to you some of the benefits of investing in a play school.
· Enhanced Coordination and Cooperation
In a preschool franchise, there is always a system which gets followed uniformly by all the franchisees across the nation and in some cases, internationally too. In this coordinated setup, rules are laid down and followed better thereby limiting the cases of loss of admission due to inconsistency. Due to this coordination, all the franchisees are well linked and strong contact building takes place in this scenario.
· Ease of access to Academic Resources
There is a set of curriculum that is followed uniformly by all the schools that are affiliated with the preschool franchise. Aside from this, they have well researched academic resources such as concept rooms, activity rooms, and theme classes that assist young learners in achieving a holistic development. Investing in a preschool franchise in India will give you the opportunity to access several resources, which will give you ample time to plan allied activities like one-on-one interactions with parents.
· Well-Coordinated Guidelines
There are well-defined rules and guidelines associated with teaching, counseling, admission, and examination in preschool franchises, which make it easier to relocate from one branch to another. Despite regional differences, the coordinated guidelines established and maintained at the Head Office build a common thread amongst all and everyone associated with the school feels as if they are a part of a big family.
· Trickling down of Innovative teaching methods
Some of the innovative teaching methods and resources are crafted when research is conducted at the head office with an aim to enhance the teaching learning process. Whenever a brand name is associated with multiple schools, these methods and resources will always trickle down. One of the best preschool franchisees keeps track of the consistency of teaching and facilitation practices in all the schools they run. In order to succeed and become profitable over the long haul, consistency is the key here.
· Fame and goodwill
With a preschool franchise, you won't need to spend much time creating your own brand name on the market since it already has an established name and fame. Through admissions and inquiries you receive on a regular basis, you will see the positive impacts of earned goodwill of a brand name with which you have been associated.
Even after discussing the benefits of investing in preschool franchises and preferring them over standalone schools, individual investors have their own reasons and preferences for choosing a particular franchise. There are ample preschool franchise opportunities in India. It is just a matter of selecting the one that matches your investment amount and a variety of other factors. To get an insight into this particular segment, it's best to speak and connect with people in the same industry so that you can select the right preschool franchise. You should also use your judgement since changing franchisee schools one at a time will be too costly. Choose among the most child-centered preschools in India or prepare a list of the top 10 preschool franchises in India.

Angel's First Time - Devil's Last Meal
Summery: …shit I just realized I have no clue what to put for a summary. All I can really say is that this was based on an RP I did with @steveharringtonanonblog back in late September-early October.
Halloween Night, 1988

Welcome to my Nightmare - Chapter Two
Previous Chapter
Next Chapter
Summary: Y/n and her friend Faye made it to Zombie Todd’s House of Sin, but will Eddie even recognize you? Is he the same man you remember?
Pairing: Vampire!Eddie x Fem!Reader
Warning (DNI if you’re under 18): All characters are over 18, swearing, hints of fighting, arguing, groupies mentioned, rampant fantasies,
A/n: I had to break this one down again. So WtmN might be more than 3 parts. Shout out to @reddeadgirl666for putting up with my bullshit and being my second set of eyes.

------------------
Your best friend swung the car right into her drive way and the two of you made a B-line for the basement, or as Faye liked to call it, her “Cave of Wonders.” She lived with her grandparents since they needed extra help in their old age. Since she was the Head of Hawkins High’s Costume Department she did all of her work from home. Monster masks rested on mannequin heads on shelves, the floor littered with fabric scraps along with towering bins filled with props. Two of her three sewing machines still had unfinished gowns waiting to be altered for the next play and the walls were covered with both movie and band posters. With all of the cans of hairspray, fabric glue, and fabric dye the basement always smelled clean and fresh – mostly because her Grandfather was former Navy (making him a clean freak by default) and the laundry room was right next door. Trying to pick just one costume from the sea of clothing racks was almost impossible. Should you go as a witch? No, too basic. How about the Childlike Empress from the Never Ending Story? No, too elaborate and you’re way over 18. That would be weird! Faye suggested Princess Leia’s slave outfit, but you were worried about being arrested for indecent exposure. Finally you settled on a short black dress with lace accents along the hem and a built in faux corset and paired it with an cream-colored off the shoulder blouse with three-quarter bell sleeves, fishnets that Faye had bedazzled with red crystals, and knee high boots. “Vampire with a modern twist” you called it. Faye called it “Man Eater Material.” You paired it with a few long necklaces, vampy makeup, a short blood red cape, and teasing your hair to Jesus. Faye decided on being clever by going as her namesake – a fairy. She wore a dark green skirt that looked like leaves and was dotted with little white flowers and a sparkly lavender butterfly top. Her red hair was put up into space buns and dusted with glitter. Faye pulled on a hair of matching fingerless gloves, a pair of beautiful iridescent wings, and anklets that jingled when she walked. She slipped on a pair of white converse for comfort and you both were out the door as the sun started to set. By the time you reached the venue it was already 7PM. Faye didn’t tell you this place was an hour and a half away from Hawkins…or how run down the place looked.
“When you said the place was called ‘Zombie Todd’s House of Sin’ I thought you were joking…” you said looking the club up and down. The building looked really small and was covered with graffiti and old promo posters. Attached was an old hotel that could have doubled as a Victorian castle. There was a line out the door and the entrance was flanked with bouncers. Faye touched up her lip gloss in the rearview mirror of her baby yellow 54’ Ford Thunderbird
“Now Y/n, do you think I’d really make up a name as ridiculous as that?” You just stared at her. Yes, yes she would.
Your friend rolled her eyes at you and took your hand, leading you inside. You both showed the bouncers your IDs, stamped your hands, paid the $10 entrance fee, and went inside the so-called “House of Sin.”
The club was a lot larger on the inside; there were three levels – a balcony that looked over the entire club and had a few places to sit, the second one you and Faye were on that lead to the bar and some booths, and the finally one being the dance floor and stage. The walls looked like they were made of crushed red velvet and the stairs leading to the dance floor lit up. Crystal chandeliers that look like they haven’t been cleaned since Prohibition hung from the ceiling, the walls were decorated with local artwork, but the hardwood floors felt sticky underneath your boots. Stay classy Zombie Todd. But one of the most interesting things about the club was the cages.
“Are those fucking cages?!” you started to feel a little uneasy. No way in hell those were sturdy enough to hold anyone.
“Well yeah,” said Faye “remember hearing about go-go dancers? That’s where they would perform for tips. Now come on Y/n, Burgie needs her juice!” The tiny red head dragged you over to the bar and you ordered some drinks.
The bartender had to get his manager over to double check that Faye was in fact 21, and he begrudgingly gave her the dink she wanted. You settled for a rum and coke, though the Kick-Flip Faye ordered did sound amazing. You both made it down to the dance floor just in time for the shitty DJ to finish their set, Faye’s bells ringing with each step she took.
“Try it! It has pineapple in it!” shouted Faye, your ears still adjusting to the booming speakers. You took a sip and immediately felt the room spin.
“Holy fuck Burgie, what’s in this thing – Sugar and rocket fuel?” You thumped your chest with a closed fist trying to get burn out of your system.
She laughed “Close! It’s got three kinds of rum in it, some fancy-shmancy liquor called Galliano or whatever, vanilla syrup, pineapple chunks, and pineapple juice.”
You looked at her with some concern “Faye that’s a lot of alcohol for one drink!”
Faye just laughed “I’m also extremely Irish! I can handle it!”
Just then the lights go out and the MC came on stage.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Ghouls and goblins! The moment you’ve been waiting for has arrived! Please give a warm welcome to our very own…Corroded Coffin!!!” The whole club erupted in cheers and applause as the members ran on stage and got into position. “Hey! Put the bottle down and get your ass up here, Munson!” barked the MC as he stumbled off stage, clearly inebriated.
There he was – the man who had a vice grip on your heart since 4th grade – Eddie ‘the Freak” Munson. Long gone was the buzz cut, braces, and chubby cheeks. He was a man now, a man in his element. He waved to the crowed and flashed his signature grin. All of the members of Corroded Coffin were dressed up like classic Universal monsters: Jeff was the Wolfman, Gareth was Frankenstein, and Kevin was the Mummy. Eddie, on the other hand, wasn’t dressed up like any particular monster. It looks more like he made his normal wardrobe spookier. He had on black ripped jeans that had bat wings along the waist, a vintage blood red tee with Alice Cooper’s severed head on the front, black Vans, and his trademark battle vest layered over a black leather jacket. Eddie was also wearing makeup; his eyes lined with black eyeliner and some black and red eye shadow for dramatic effect. You don’t remember if he’s ever worn makeup before, but good God did he make it look good! If anything it made him twenty times hotter. His warm brown eyes looked darker, sultrier and almost evil, his fangs glistening in the stage lights.
“Fangs…?”
BWANG!
A soon as the first cord was hit you were up and out if your seat, the riffs slammed into your chest like a freight train. He was playing Metallica’s Master of Puppets. You almost forgot how great Corroded Coffin was live. You remembered the day Eddie gave you Coffin’s first demo, how excited he was for you to hear it. You remembered how pissed Dustin was that you got a copy before he did. Eddie laughed at him gave the young DM a copy before, as Ed put it, “creamed his pants.” When Eddie was on the run you played it almost every day because of how much you missed his voice. But he’s here now, standing on stage singing his heart out and blasting away on his most prized possession – his electric guitar “Princess.” It was silly but sometimes you got jealous of that stupid thing. You wanted Eddie to look at you like he looked at that guitar, hold onto you for dear life like the guitar. You constantly fantasized how those rough fingers of his felt on your skin…in your heat…
Faye was watching you watching Eddie. “Jesus fuck are you whipped y/n…” She waved her hand in front of your face trying to see if you’re even blinking. She understood your crush on him. You’ve always asked Faye how she didn’t possibly feel anything for the charming metal head. If anything it made more sense for Faye and Eddie to be an item. Faye was always the more outgoing one of the two of you and the chemistry between her and Eddie seemed to be there. But she always said it would be “too much chaos” for either of them to handle. Faye also said it would be like dating her twin. She only ever had eyes for Steve Herrington: All looks, no brains, big heart, but eager to learn, and willing to please. But Faye was getting tired of waiting for you to make your move. It looks like it was time for Faye Burgun to play Cupid. She had taken a break from watching you to slam back the last of her drink, and the next thing she knew you were gone.
Panicked, Faye scrambled out of the booth and started looking for you. It didn’t take long for her to find you. You were standing as close to the stage as you could without entering the mosh pit.

Eddie Munson HC: Having a Chronically Ill Partner
Yes this is purely self-indulgent, leave me be okay?! Bare in mind that much of this is based on my own experience as someone with multiple chronic illnesses. I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Anemia, Small Fiber Neuropathy, and Pre-Load Failure.
Even though you knew Eddie was the non-judgmental type, you were still scares to tell him about being disabled. Obviously he wasn't phased.
But on the inside all he can think about is “what can I do? What can I do to help y/n? How can I make their life easier? How can I let them know how much I love them?”
Eddie is best friends with Dustin, so he has a little experience with medical stuff. Part of the reason they are friends is because Jason Carver tripped the freshman on his first day and Eddie seriously though Dustin broke something. Eddie wound up in detention for fighting, but he still snuck out to check on Dustin and leaned about his CCD. The rest is history.
But yeah, Eddie tried to ask Dustin for advice. Dustin just acts like a smart ass and roasts him for assuming he knows anything because you and him are disabled and "must know each other." Eddie panicked and apologized profusely (we know how much he HATES confrontation,) but after he realized they Dustin was fucking with him Ed gives him a massive wedgie.
The internet didn't exist yet, so research is hard to come by. So Eddie does the next best thing - ask his Uncle Wayne for advice (he just reminds his nephew that the library is a thing.)
He probably asks Nancy too because "Hey she's pretty smart." She does help a lot actually, mostly by being the voice of reason and encouraging Eddie to learn from you.
Eddie asks A LOT of questions at first, enough to where he learns about one of the most common symptoms - brainfog and cognitive fatigue. Now he just asks the doctors you see.
Speaking of doctors he acts as your personal chauffeur to all of your appointments, even if you have a drivers license and a car. He knows you're more than capable of driving yourself, he just doesn't want you to put more stress on your body then you need to.
He's also not afraid to speak up on your behalf if a doctor or nurse tries to gaslight you. He remembers early on in your relationship of you coming home an appointment, just sobbing your eyes out about "no one believing you." That lit a fire under his ass.
He's threaten to throw hands with said doctors. But most of the time he just passive aggressive.
You've tried to explain Spoon Theory to him ("Why the fuck is it spoons?!?") So he changed it to a Health Bar, Hit Points, and Mana because he's a giant fucking nerd like that. Honestly it made more sense to both of you.
He's a lot more cautious now when it comes to his dealing, either cutting back on making deals to keep both of you safe, or triple checking the quality of his product. If what he deals could help someone, someone like you, then he knows it needs to be perfect.
When you tell him that some of the stuff he sells can help with your symptoms he makes sure he keeps the really good stuff in a safe place for you. Only the best weed for his baby.
Eddie stocks his kitchen with all of your favorite snacks and drinks, much to the annoyance of his uncle. Wayne bought him a mini fridge just so Eddie wouldn't overstock the main one with nothing but Gatorade.
Eddie is always worried if you're too hot/cold (In my personal case I'm always cold).
Too hot during those grueling summers in Hawkins? BOOM! Kiddie pool! BOOM! Pedialyte popsicles! BOOM! Umbrella!

Have you ever had that moment when you’re reading a wicked awesome fanfic on tumblr, but then your phone “refreshes” the page, and now you can’t find the fanfic you were reading
I was reading an amazing Eddie x Reader x Steve fanfic and I got pulled away for some reason and I LOST IT!! All I remember about it is that the author wrote in all lower case, the story started off with everyone at a party, and part of the story took place in the back of Eddie’s van. I know it’s not much to go on, but that’s all I remember.

...000. INTRODUCTION.
helloooo lovelies ! my name is evan (he/him), i’m twenty-two and from the gmt timezone ! i’m super excited for this to open because i’ve got so much muse right now. i’m down for any and all plots, seriously, i love plotting ! this is calvin, he’s an angry mess of a character, but he’s fun to play, so ! if you just wanna get to know the character, you can skip past the other sections and just focus on personality, i’ve also put some wanted connections in there too ! if you would like to plot, then either shoot me a message here or on discord (heterosexual? how vintage!#8600) or alternatively, like this post and i will message you !
caution: alcohol, drugs, mental health, death.
›› ✱ xavier serrano, cismale, he/him. you’ve met calvin marx, right? they’re around twenty-three and a twitch streamer. they’re all about thrift store clothing and the faint smell of cologne and cigarettes, hence why they’re known as the spitfire around town. everyone knows them to be pretty gregarious but i’ve heard they’re actually sort of volatile, too… don’t tell them i said that, okay?
...001. BRIEF HISTORY.
calvin grew up very underprivileged for the first 11 years of his life in brooklyn, ny.
his father died when he was 5 years old to a drug overdose, leading his mother became a single mother to him and his younger sister, essentially meaning that calvin had to grow up and be the ‘man of the house’ without having a choice.
because of her new single-mother status, calvins mother had to work 3 different jobs in order for the family to pay rent (a cleaner in mornings, a store assistant in the day and a bartender in the evenings), which meant she was rarely home and left calvin to raise both himself and younger sister.
from a very early age, it was apparent that calvin suffered from anger issues, dyslexia and adhd, constantly getting into fights at every opportunity, his complete inability to focus and never managing to make it through a week at school without a phone call home.
these issues remained untreated, due to his mother putting it down to the ‘boys will be boys’ ideology, and concluding that calvin was just an energetic one at that.
because of this, calvin fell into the wrong crowd pretty quickly and settled into his mindset that he was never going to achieve all that much anyway, because no matter how hard he tried, he could never score well on any test at school.
at the age of 9, calvins mother met, fell in love with and soon married a former client for whom she cleaned for. calvins new step father was incredibly wealthy, due to being a successful franchisee and also being very largely into stock trading.
calvin, his sister and mother were all moved to his home in cherrybrooks, which calvin struggled to adjust to, as he missed his friends back north.
now having access to as much money as he want led him down an early path into experimenting with drugs and alcohol, which soon became a bad habit.
although he wanted to drop out of school, his new step-father would not allow it, which became a large source of conflict for the family over the course of the next few years.
failing to graduate high school at age eighteen, calvin couldn’t deal with living with his family any more and left the house to move into a small apartment, 30 minutes away, with a roommate (possibly a member of the clique).
calvins only real passions were for gaming and sport, and as he smoked and did way too many drugs to make it in any sporting profession, he turned his attention to twitch streaming. he began this pretty soon and built up a solid fanbase (which he wanted to call the marxists, but in calvins words, apparently some dead man already claimed that title).
...002. PERSONALITY.
calvin is a naturally angry person who can lose his cool and go from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds, he rarely gives off signs that he is getting angry until he boils over, so people tend to watch what they say around him.
calvin is self-serving, his feelings will always come before those around him. although he is getting better at managing this, if something will result in calvin gaining something at the expense of somebody else, he will most likely go ahead with it.
calvin is not well educated, so he doesn’t tend to enjoy arguing with words, as he can never seem to find the ones to correctly express how he feels. instead, calvin is much more likely to act physically when something has irritated him (whether this be on a person or inanimate object).
calvin is an awful liar, he cannot lie to save his life as his face always tends to show when he doesn’t agree with an idea/opion/thought that somebody says. because of this, he is very outspoken, and will just say what he’s thinking regardless of if it’s going to hurt somebodies feelings. he’d rather upset them with the truth, than get caught out for lying.
calvin is an extrovert and gains energy from being around people - the more people the better, because of this, he has become a major party animal and loves attending any and all parties that is going on, despite if he’s fond of the hosts or not.
calvin is a heavy user of drugs, alcohol & cigarettes. this is primarily down to his naturally addictive personality and constant need to feel like he’s happy, so that he doesn’t get sad again. there will rarely be a day where he will not be intoxicated in some way and he will have a cigarette at least once an hour – and that’s on a good day.
calvin is very much into sports. although not a natural athlete, nor somebody interested in playing sports competitively, calvin loves watching any and all sports, and he likes to play them when he can. due to his smoking habit, he can’t play sports for too long, but will always give it a good go.
similarly to this, calvin is very much into gaming. calvin loves fast-paced games, because they manage to keep his attention despite him not having a very long attention span. most games that he plays are first person shooters, and he’s usually the guy on the mic screaming when a teammate fucks up during online play. a big appeal to him was that games were the only thing he could focus his mind on as a child.
calvin is very much a boys boy, he genuinely abides by the bible of ‘ bros before hoes ‘ because he’s stupid.
calvin hates movies but loves tv, he finds that watching moves involves sitting still for too long, but tv allows him to take more breaks and keeps his interest for longer. although. he’d probably trade both of them for a chance to leave the house.
