yeah! sploo-khi used to have a III appended after his name, to show that he was the third iteration of the "sploo-khi identity," but i wanted something more personal and fun to write so i didn't stick with that.

i've been saving posting this ramble because i wanted to draw that, but i really don't think i'll get around to it so you can have the discord rambles.

this scrapped backstory is part of the reason why this art has the words "connection lost" on him, while also emphasizing his image (his barbecue fork!) but honestly, this still applies to CURRENT canon.

after all, sploo-khi records hologram recordings of himself to play during pit fights. this "virtual" aspect of him still exists, he's just an actual person now (and i can do much more interesting things with Reflections Of The Ego and shit with him, which has been really fun.)

and also, sploo-khi has this whole peculiarity with computerization in his story, too. he's very particular about not having any irken brain automation in his systems, not even budging on small things that can be automated like his gift shops. i wonder why that is. explaining why would be spoilers :3c

Examples of some fun objects in Wainwright and Hammerlock’s house? I remember from the headcanons post that they had a buncha matching stuff!!

Familial artifacts. Their house is a fucking BIG ASS MANOR THAT IS A FEW HUNDRED YEARS OLD, of course there's a ton of artifacts in there! The CoV did rob. Some of them. But not all, and many managed to be recovered. Margaret's collection of music records, Wharton's ornamental gun racks, all manner of strange old things from... well, people that are very dead, now.

Secret rooms. God there's so many secret rooms. Because again, ancient ass manor. Wainwright knows them like the back of his own hand, Alistair does not.

Speaking of rooms. They absolutely have their respective silly little "man caves" (I don't like that term but I can't find a better one). And the manor 100% has a fancy ass smoking room they use frequently.

Alistair's many many many trophies. He has his study which is basically a natural history museum at this point but they have grown so numerous they sort of... spilled right out of there. Some of them are cool (think those taxidermies of like. Birds fighting w sticks or whatever), some of them are a bit weird (preserved organs).

As I said, matching stuff. Mostly silly novelty items like the mugs I mentioned.

Their bed has like 7-9 of those silly expensive hotel honeymoon suite pillows on it. I just KNOW that mkay.

Your friend’s brows jumped up to her hairline. “He always looks like that?” 

“He doesn’t look that angry.”

“Absolutely no one is approaching him. This is a party. He looks about ready to pummel that tiny guy next to him.” 

“He’s just a little intimidating,” you reasoned. “And—hey, look!” you pointed over your shoulder. “He smiled a little, see?”

He was lost in the bubble he created each time he had you in his grasp, your bright eyes and adoring smile rendering him unmoveable, but then your friend subtly cleared her throat and Azriel looked away. 

“Hello, Amber,” Azriel greeted, keeping your body slotted into the crook of his arm. “Having fun?” 

She blinked at him. He really was intimidating, especially up close. Even with the heightened bar stools, he was a good head over where the two of you sat.

You giggled at the feel of his breath at your ear, pushing him away slightly in a haze. He only shook his head and smiled at the space you’d created. 

“Trying to flirt with me in public? Azriel, you are scandalous.” 

He only breathed out a laugh, gaze bouncing between your glossy eyes. Once you stopped giggling enough to meet his stare, his expression softened. “You told me to pick you up at eleven. You have a lesson plan, pretty girl.”

You gasped, slapping a hand against Azriel's chest that didn’t even have him flinching. You whipped your head over to Amber—who was staring at the two of you in confused amusement —and hurriedly offered, “I have to go! Third grade!” 

In his efforts to capture your attention, Azriel had woven both of his arms around you to meet at your lower back, a hold that you now shot out of. You wobbled as you pressed out of the stool and grabbed Azriel’s leather sleeve. An unnecessary gesture; anyone at this party could see that the man would follow you anywhere. 

“I didn’t prep the multiplication tables,” you rambled, words slurring together. 

“You did. I helped you with the formatting on the iPad.”

The Nostalgia Living by @awingedllama has been my fave ever since it came out and I was just waiting for an ounce of my converting motivation to come back to get down to business. And it finally happened!

Because there are 50+ items in this set and it would take me 2 hours to list all of them, I will link this handy dandy catalog the original creator made so you can see what you're getting: RIGHT HERE. All of the objects are fairly low poly so you don't need to worry about that.

There is a gaming console override included! Well, the console is buyable in the catalog and the override is for the controller so you need that package. It will conflict with any other overrides you have!

ALSO, 'cause there are some adorable vintage frames included in the set, I thought I could make them into changeable sim portraits! Now your sim family's portraits can match the fireplace (which is functional, also).

A lot of the items are repositoried to eachother! The shelving system, the couch, I did make note of that in the folders so you know what to download. Also, all the shelves have 10+ slots, the 'Dad's library' books function as bookshelves (and have slots on top of them).

The items I haven't converted and why (BUT I will look into them in the upcoming days I was just way too tired now lol sorry): draperies (the mesh appeared broken in the game); drink coaster (I forgot about this little guy); grand mirror (I still have to learn how to convert them lol); triangular shelf (I'm sorry but I really wasn't feeling this shelf, I remember it from my childhood and I always hated it in other ppl's houses lmao);

I also wanted to make the ceiling fan animated so it can spin and function as a light at the same time, but unfortunately right now that is above my converting capabilities! But I will look into that as well.

Right now I'm working on converting the build mode items! Precisely the doors, but the wallpapers + the carpets are included now. I will also convert the Nostalgia kitchen but it might take me a while 'cause I'm learning stuff about animating objects so I can also fix the CHALK kitchen I know it's ass, bear with me pls lmao ♥

AND this set is huge so I just know that I have forgotten about something or I have misplaced something in the folders, my adhd is having a field day SO please let me know if anything is missing or might not be working as intended! ♥
