#this was supposed to be a warmup but i got carried away.... i havent drawn in so long that its been hard to focus orz #im testing a new brush for fun. again.. i think i can use this for clean lineart..?? im surprised i went as long as i did with the #narinder brush honestly... but i wanna try something new so here we are again #if i could get my shit together id love to draw a model of his van because i have smth really cool in mind..i was looking at pictures #of old wooden caravans like the horse drawn ones and i wonder if i could combine that with the shape of an RV #i like the ones with a door at the rear bc it kinda lookslike a train caboose.. maybe he'd get someone to weld him a custom ride!!#idk how intricate and detailed i can design it without making it a pain in the ass to draw every time BUT i have a general idea #it would probably have a door on the side but idk if itd flip down to make a stage or upwards to make a roof?? and then theres a #curtain behind it where he would come out and do his show methinks.. ive been looking at pictures of camping vans on pinterest for ideas #i dont think he LIVES in the van since i mentioned his home is an old run down theatre when he isnt on the road. i wanna draw that too #but the RV should have enough for long travels like a bed and cabinets..? maybe a net hanging on the ceiling where all his props go #id like to think of ideas for a hometown.. toronto has a huge entertainment district so it would make sense for him to live there #although id also love to base parts of it from vancouver since id love to go back and visit </3 #..would there be furth names for those places?? nyancouver... clawronto... whinnypeg (like a horse whinny)...#pawson creek.... purrlington... otterwa.. i love coming up with names lol #my art #myart #my oc #oc #sleight #laikas comet oc #fan character #fur #furry art

i would never @ my beloved vlogbrothers about this bc that would just be drama bait. with that in mind:

i was reminiscing about my history as a nerdfighter (The community / fandom centred around the Green brothers as artists, educators, personalities, & role models) and got one of Hank Green[ and The Perfect Strangers]'s old Harry Potter songs stuck in my head - by virtue of just remembering it exists - and just kinda being grimly amused by such an earnest and loving song dedicated to an artist who is just a known massive piece of shit at this point.

and also just being amused and disappointed in the naivete of both 12 y/o me and uh *checks notes* 34 y/o Hank in thinking this billionaire-brit must be pretty cool and decent bc she's a philanthropist who owns an IP we like. The best parts of her work (and based on the critical love they give their own online community I think the Green Bro's know this) were the bits that had nothing to do with her. at the far end of "not canon" is not-for-profit fandom stuff that's talked about between a small group of friends. but there are also just so many people who made HP more than just one shitty white cishets work. Every director, concept artist, editor, actor - as well as otherwise BtS workers like VFX artists, caterers, and custodial staff - added to this work. And it's sad how deeply it's all been stained by her bigotry and ignorance.

I do ultimately think it's Not Good™ to buy and promote any of her work but in this small semi-private space I just wanted to talk about my ✨feelings✨

miss thang still had some hay left this morning from last night due to being picky and as this is not allowed according to the powers that be i left her for a few more minutes to see if she would eat it. then as i was walking by she did a little hungry chuckle at me and i looked to see if she had eaten the hay and in fact she had peed directly on top of it as she had now figured out if it's pissed on she doesn't have to eat it. and it worked here she is with her diabolically obtained breakfast

#i'm laughing it felt so calculated like girl i KNOW you dont have the frontal lobe capacity for this type of behavior it was so funny #not the first time shes done this the other day she dragged the hay she didn't want to the back of the stall to pee on it #but this time it was right there next to the water bucket. she hasnt been getting the net since shes not finishing the hay without it #but i brought it back to try and stop her from doing that. this is hilarious i love horses #we have six? different types of hay and shes picky about literally all of them it's really extra. she wont even eat the nice timothy #she usually eats the orchard grass but will still leave the stems until she gets hungry enough. like girl idk what to tell you #i personally wouldn't really mind throwing out some of the rejected stuff like in the pictured hay theres a lot of weeds etc and i feel like #its reasonable for them to not eat that but my friend feels rather strongly about not wasting it. whatever #me #horses

The great thing about being an Adult is that if you randomly get Extremely Overwhelmed by Existence, no one can stop you from going into your closet in your bedroom with your laptop, changing into a onesie, and sitting in the dark quiet enclosed space all by yourself (even though you're the only one here because your spouse isn't home from work yet).

#my favorite part being that I had a really good chill therapy session today because things have been on the whole pretty good this past week #and then I swear it was like someone just dropped a giant DOOM blanket over my head an hour later #went from having a chill convo with friends to being pretty sure they all hate me #(or at best that I was just being annoying and unhelpful and unwanted in said conversation)#nearly had a small meltdown about the fact that one of the horses got wet *before* I got outside to put him in his sheet #and then it just kept spiraling from there #one of the hay nets needs to be repaired AGAIN and I'm almost in frustrated tears just remembering that #I was supposed to refill my pill boxes after work #but then I ended up having to work late after therapy so I haven't done that #or anything else productive #I was going to try and make soup tonight but that sounds super overwhelming now #so anyway fuck this storm that rolled in about an hour and a half ago #gonna go get some rescue meds for my anxiety now that i've remembered that those exist #and some other meds for what I assume is a continuing to brew migraine #and see if I can remember how to be A Human before my spouse gets home
