nearly everybody on the team has questioned him about this (friend specifically; they're truly concerned for his health), and he shrugs it off every time.

"i'm actively choosing not to question it," he says with a laugh, because if he does question it, he's not sure he'll like what he finds.

I've now (lightly) edited 6 chapters of FrankensteinWIP and uhhh. Well. Good news about it: I no longer feel meh about the book, I love it again. Bad (?) news about it: I think I have written something that appeals specifically to me and no one else which, uh, that was the plan originally I guess? Like I wanted to write something entirely self-indulgent and personal, and I think I succeeded, but my question is - will anyone else want to read this? Cause I honestly cannot tell.

Almost exactly half of this book is a slow-burn queer romance in a dark academia setting and then the other half is going to be a creepy disturbing science/medical horror (plus the romance will go from slightly questionable to a co-dependent nightmare). I adore this, I feel like I am writing my own version of Secret History with overt queer text instead of subtext. However. Would anyone else read this lol

Anyway, I will edit the first half until I run out of stuff to edit and go back to drafting with renewed motivation. I still haven't decided if I want to share that first half already btw. But I do enjoy the edit so far. A lot. So at least there's that.

story wise im honestly not really expecting That much from shadows story in the generations remaster because generations already has nothing going for it in terms of story but also black doom being the main villain has me losing my shit because ive always thought shadow being part black arms was a really interesting concept and wished they did more with it and i also just really like shth and am happy to see them referencing it so openly instead of being ashamed of it and pretending it never happened because annoying youtubers and game reviewers decided it was bad. rips off shirt to reveal another shirt undernearth that says Number 1 Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) Defender

magnus season 5 statements will never be crazy to me the entire show is like "what if you transferred your brain into a machine" "what if you tried to turn off the sun" "what if there was a weird doll" and season 5 is like. what if you got arrested. by the police. and it's 10 times as scary and even gets a special content warning cuz the writer forgot to do a story and just trauma dumped

Every year for the month of October I make a movie calander- one horror movie a day, every day, for the entire month. My problem now, is that after three years of doing this- I'm starting to..... well, run out isn't the right way to put it... but it's starting to feel like I've seen most of the big hitters.

So the question I'm throwing out there is:

Fans of horror, what movies would you reccomend for this year's October watch?

I'm looking for anything and everything. I will watch silent black and white films. I read subtitles and I'm not opposed to hunting down a niche foreign horror/thriller. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE SPOILERS I would like to go into the movies blind (trigger warnings are very welcome, though)
