@fenrat-the-thief - “Horaven the Hero, please!” I give one stupidly tall hero with his giant swords and really annoying cape...coat....coap? (the cape was the bit that took me the longest to draw, not even kidding) :P

(as cool as they can look, swords on peoples back just confuse me when I think about how they’re unsheathed, your arms just can’t reach far enough)

Day 6 - Sword Done over two A5 Pages Overdue by about 30 minutes past midnight. Not without good reason. Firstly, 9-5 jobs tend to do that, secondly, for some reason the composition on this one really kicked my ass. Took me forever to get a set of poses and angles that I was happy with. I dont think I’m 100% happy with it still, but I am definitely happy with the energy and action in this one.  Why is THIS one sword instead of my Kamina one from yesterday?... Come on. Kier’s sword. IT’S TOO KICKASS! Also Horaven adds plenty to the sword count and general stabbyness ;)  I rewatched the episode where the two met specifically for this haha :P

Ya ever think about that group of Xinkalans (sorry, Big Cityites) that were part of Team Horaven? 

Because they were a bit of a Fringe group, yes, but it must've been really disheartening to see your idol on the opposing side of the War. Especially considering Ohnorians put their Philosophical Values above everything else.

I never thought of Do You Hear the People Sing for Horaven I have seen The Light. Related, Horaven would be a great Val-Jean i know he doesnt sing that song but still.

My favorite thing about Horaven is that when you draw him with both his swords people revert to the "how come your mom lets you have two [harpy]s" meme. Like it's wonderful??
