Well to visit and to drop off whatever he'd been travelling with but he knew full well that any allusion to his strange companion would keep the door locked and windows shuttered. Said companion let out a soft hiss; at what eru only knew. It seemed to find most things disagreeable including, but certainly not limited to: robes (thankfully it was weak from whatever had the absence of mind to attack it), sticks breaking, leaves rustling, and coin purse that had fallen (it refused to go anywhere near that side of the cart the entire night).

37 was fast asleep in the back of the healer's cart, its mind sweeping the area for anything that could be a threat as it slept. Flashes of memories that it couldn't quite comprehend filled its mind, shouting, running, a flash of a knife, a great light, then darkness. It woke at the healer stopping then leaving the cart, letting out a soft hiss as the shift in weight from his departure shook it.

Now awake it sat up just enough for two deer-like ears to poke out over the side. It reached its mind out as far as it could racing through the minds it touched along the way. Animals were ignored, people marked but left alone, orcs were dealt with on touch. It reached the end of its range quickly flickering through minds fast enough for most to miss it; all at once it snapped its mind back to its present location to resume its telepathic rounds.

so my younger cousin is flying in to visit from brazil on sunday, and will be staying here for like, the entirety of july. which, don't get me wrong, is super cool! i love the kid! but it felt like a super weird move, considering his parents are the SUPER strict and borderline helicopter parents. even the smallest prank/roughousing with him/his little sister would lead to a strict talking to from his parents, he couldn't ever do anything without their clear permission, that sort of stuff. so letting him fly at alone at 16 to a whole different country and stay there for a whole month seemed WILDLY out of character. additionally, it just felt like a super last-minute trip. it's not like we have any plans to do when he gets here, and the flight itself and stuff only got booked like, midway through june.

and i was talking to my mom about it, kind of trying to nudge some answers out of her, and after a while she went, "yeah, i think they're sending him over here to get away for his boyfriend. see if the distance breaks them off." which, first of all, surprised me because last i checked, they didn't KNOW he had a boyfriend. literally everyone in the family did EXCEPT for them because while that entire side of the family being semi-conservative, his parents (mostly his dad) are EXTREMELY old-fashioned. so clearly something already went wrong. and considering the only reason the rest of the family knew is because one person found out and it spread like wildfire, i have a sneaking suspicion he wasn't the one to tell them, either.

and second of all. they're sending him HERE. to try to make him forget his homosexuality. i couldn't do anything but just wordlessly gesture to the multiple pride flags scattered around my room, then to myself, because really? he has like two other cousins in the us and they're sending him to me? honey i am about to introduce this kid to queer scenes you have never even heard of. he'll be returning home with labels only shrimp can perceive

This bad boy was started on the third of November, and finished on the seventh. In total, there are thirty panels (all of which were drawn separately).

A good chunk of N's dialogue near the end came to me after I did some improv to figure out what he should say. I have since dubbed it "N's Failure Monologue."

I don't know why exactly I really like the glowy sketch version, but even if it doesn't even look like the outline stuff the vanny mask adds onto things in the dlc, it reminds me of it lol

I recently saw this art post where they drew and mentioned cannon Eclipse barely getting love and I immediately agreed. I just had to contribute ASAP. Gotta give this kind robo man a forehead smooch. v3v

I don't mean for the image to come off as entirely creepy, I just wanted it to feel like you've been staying in the dark plex with your best buddy eclipse! Stuck but at least not alone. :)

Plus I gotta let the creepy robots be creepy sometimes. It makes the sweet personalities feel even sweeter imo :P
