literally after doing all this gold rule stuff i got thinking what Melosa and Floria would be like on alternia... two WRETCHED, WRETCHED clowns. Floria's lusus, the Hideous Swanthing, accepted Melosa because she was damn good at imitating Floria's honking. Now the three live together in a tower by a sprawling garden full of deadly, colorful plants. Sometimes Floria and Melosa ride his lusus around the outskirts of the garden to chase their neighbors for sport, all three honking up a storm at their fleeing victims. Hurting lowbloods makes Floria cry, so the Swanthing keeps just to snapping. Some time ago, a couple other Mirthful Messiah purplebloods visited Floria and killed Melosa flippantly--only for her to return as a Rainbow Drinker for SWEET, GRAPE-FLAVORED REVENGE. She's still missing an arm, but due to her vampirism a bunch of clown church members think she's super metal actually and she's been declared an 'honorary purpleblood.' This is delightful to Melosa, and she's completely embraced jesterhood. Floria's just happy his moirail survived and doesn't really have a problem with her drinking his blood, especially if it makes it 'hers.'

Alternia is just... like that.

It seems like the clowns are completely intending on taking Melosa off planet because 'it's really funny and awesome, actually.' This might lead to a divisive and violent conflict between the purplebloods doing whatever they want and strict jadeblood tradition.
