𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗦

Turns out my brain never knows when to stop (😅), so now I have even more plot bunnies for Descendants and I thought I’d share them with you!! Keep in mind that I probably won’t do official intro posts for most of these, but you can still feel free to ask me questions about them if you want!!

Bella Wolf, daughter of the Big Bad Wolf, poly Carlos/Jane ship, Fivel Stewart FC. A member of the VKs, despite being a total sweetheart for a villain kid and never really wanting to be evil, because she was the only kid who tried to befriend Evie when she had her mother were exiled and she and Evie have been stuck like glue ever since. Not originally selected to go to Auradon, but the VKs managed to sneak her through the barrier and Ben decided to let her stay. Genuinely befriends Jane pretty quickly since they’re both really sweet and quiet, and doesn’t necessarily like her friends using the girl, but she goes along with it and it breaks her heart to distance herself from Jane after Family Day. Has also had a crush on Carlos forever but doesn’t realize she likes Jane too until after Jane and Carlos start dating, and she thinks she’s missed her chance with both of them until they approach her about being a part of their relationship. Has been purely in human form, like her dad, for most of her life because of the magic blocker on the Isle, but when she gets to Auradon she discovers that she can shift into a wolf and back at will, and also has heightened senses and reflexes, which she uses to join the tourney team after it becomes more inclusive after the second movie.

Charlotte Cogsworth, daughter of Cogsworth, Gil ship, India Eisley FC. Homeschooled in Auradon’s palace for most of her life, because she’s been in training to follow in her father’s footsteps and become an advisor in Ben’s future court and also because Cogsworth is a very protective father, but Ben manages to convince his parents to convince her father to let her go to Auradon Prep shortly before the VKs come to Auradon (and she almost gets pulled out of school again when Cogsworth learns about villain kids coming, but thankfully it doesn’t happen). A bit socially inept since she hasn’t spent a lot of time around kids her age other than Ben, but a very sweet and fiercely intelligent girl who’s accepting of the VKs right away. Offers to tutor the Sea Three and catch them up on any education they might lack after Ben brings them to Auradon after the second movie, and falls in love with Gil that way. Absolute besties with Ben since they grew up together, and is also really good friends with Lonnie and Evie and Doug (and also forms a kind of unexpected friendship with Uma after a while). Her father nearly has a heart attack when he finds out she’s dating Gaston’s son, but he eventually comes around.

Beauregard “Beau” Beast, son of Belle and Adam, poly Harry/Jay ship. Younger than Ben by less than a year, but has always grown up in his brother’s shadow as the “spare heir”; even though Ben never tried to make him feel less than, he’s always known that his father didn’t care about him the same way, that he was meant to just be Ben’s right hand and nothing else. Inherited his mother’s love for reading and knowledge and has spent most of his life locked in his room or the palace library studying history and politics, hoping that he could become a well-known senator or ambassador to another kingdom. A bit wary of the VKs at first, but eventually befriends all of them and starts dating Jay (to Adam’s consternation, especially since Ben’s already dating Mal), and winds up being the one Uma’s pirate crew kidnaps instead of Ben when they go to the Isle to bring Mal home. He and Harry are intruiged by each other and flirt a little while he’s captive (awkwardly on Beau’s part), but he finds out after the Sea Three come to Auradon that Jay and Harry were actually involved for a short while before the fight between the VKs and Uma’s crew got really bad. Eventually Jay and Beau realize that they (still, on Jay’s part) have actual genuine feelings for Harry, and invite him to be part of their relationship. Beau is very sweet but intensely awkward and insecure due to never being the first choice growing up, but as he gains more friends and starts dating Jay and Harry he’s able to come out of his shell and starts being able to stand up for himself.

Wesley Darling, son of Wendy Darling, Mal ship, Tom Holland FC. The son of Wendy and the man she married after becoming a writer and putting Neverland behind her, but there are rumours that he’s actually Peter Pan’s son because of all the mischief he gets into. Hates Auradon’s thinking of “moving past” magic and how perfect and prim everyone pretends to be, so he’s constantly pulling pranks and getting into trouble with Fairy Godmother. Immediately recognizes that Ben’s under a love spell because he sees him eat the spelled cookie and approaches Mal about it, not to confront her or rat her out but just because he’s impressed by her prank skills (he obviously doesn’t realize that it’s part of a bigger plan). He and Mal fall in love leading up to the coronation, and Wesley is so relieved when she chooses good and admits to Ben that she doesn’t have any feelings for him - which he’s fine with because he’s a good friend and genuinely likes Wesley - so they can be together. The very definition of a class clown, laid-back and mischievous and doesn’t take a lot seriously, but also a lot smarter than most people think and would do anything for the people he cares about.

Aurora Andersen, daughter of Ariel and Eric, poly Mal/Evie ship, Zendaya Coleman FC. Ariel and Eric’s younger child, after her older sister Melody who’s already graduated Auradon Prep. Shares her mother’s curiousity and sense of adventure, and so she makes a strong effort to befriend the VKs when they first come to Auradon. Realizes she has feelings for both Evie and Mal after they almost steal the wand at the coronation, and is thrilled when they choose good and decide to stay in Auradon. Confesses to them sometime between the first and second movies, and they all become Auradon Prep’s power throuple. Pretty much exactly like Ariel in terms of personality, bold and inquisitive and kind, but with Eric’s occasional recklessness thrown in. Can change between mermaid and human forms at will, thanks to Fairy Godmother’s magic. Wanted to be on Auradon Prep’s swim team but it was deemed unfair since she’s a mermaid, so she settles on joining the R.O.A.R. team after Lonnie becomes captain.

Delfina Madrigal, daughter of Dolores Madrigal, Lonnie ship, Rachel Zegler FC. Daughter of Dolores and Mariano, and the oldest of the five children that her father always wanted. Received a gift from the family miracle on her fifth birthday like the rest of her family, becoming able to create illusions through her singing voice. Homeschooled for a good portion of her life, like most Madrigals, but Mirabel, now head of the family, decided she and a few of her cousins should be allowed to go to Auradon Prep after the coronation, since she thought that King Adam’s attitude towards magic might be changing. A clumsy lesbian disaster, a bit like her Tía Mirabel, who gets an insta-crush on Lonnie and whose brain tends to stop working when she’s around her. The two of them get together shortly after the events of the second movie, and Delfina attends all of Lonnie’s R.O.A.R. tournaments religiously despite not really knowing anything about the sport. A bit quiet and nervous like her mother, but also has her quiet strength and her tía’s tendency to let her mouth run faster than her brain. Joins Auradon Prep’s acapella club and makes them into sensations, due to her gift making their performances into full spectacles.

Theodore “Theo” Maldonia, child of Tiana and Naveen, Chad ship, Jonathan Daviss FC. He/they kid of Tiana and Naveen and heir to the throne of Maldonia. Very studious, quiet, and dedicated to learning how to be the best ruler he can be, but also doesn’t have very many friends as a result. Unexpectedly winds up becoming close to Chad after being assigned to tutor him when he starts failing a class, and actually helps him to reconsider his ways and mindset when the VKs come to Auradon. They develop a crush on him eventually but acknowledge that he still has a ways to go before becoming a better person, so it’s a while before he asks him out, but they’re very cute when they do get together. Through dating Chad, Theo starts to come out of their shell a little, and becomes really good friends with Doug and Carlos. A member of the Auradon Prep student council, and eventually becomes the tourney coach’s assistant as an effort for them to better learn how to plan strategies.

Maizie Hatter, child of the Mad Hatter, poly VKs ship, Erin Kellyman FC. Wacky non-binary sweetheart, and a complete outcast in Auradon, as most kids from Wonderland are, due to their odd style and outlandish personality. When the VKs originally come to Auradon (already all dating each other), they try to befriend Maizie because they figure it will be easy to convince them to help them steal Fairy Godmother’s wand, but all four of them find themselves falling in love with Maizie over time. After they all choose good at the coronation - and Mal profusely apologizes to Ben for the love spell and explains that she doesn’t really have feelings for him - they ask Maizie to be a part of their relationship, which they’re only too happy to do. An incredible artist and lover of tea who forms Auradon Prep’s art club with Mal and gets all four of their partners addicted to rose hip tea. Exactly what you’d expect the child of the Mad Hatter to be, wacky and curious and often living inside their own head, but also a lot more observant and smart than people expect. Becomes besties with Ben after the events of the first movie when they start to become more accepted by Auradon society and, later, the Sea Three.

Parents' names: Genevieve and Patrick Weasley.

Siblings: 3 older sisters, Victoria, Erin & Rihannon.

Blood Status: Pureblood

Life in general: Garreth is a farm boy. He's always lived in the country side, and his family are very modest and humble folk, living out in the middle of nowhere, and like most wizards and witches living in the wizarding world Garreth was homeschooled until Hogwarts and didn't really spend alot of time around other kids. He had his older sisters, and Rhiannon in particular whos only 15 months older than him enjoyed the same things as him, they would spend their time in the garden making mud pies and "potions" out of whatever they could find.

Leander Prewett:

Parents names: Leanna and Andrew Prewett.

Siblings: Younger brother, Oliver.

Blood status: Pureblood.

Life in General: Leander is another country side boy, but grew up alot more privileged than Garreth, his parents had good money, and sent him to a muggle private school until Hogwarts which he didn't really enjoy because it meant he couldn't do magic on the regular, but whenever he came home he'd do nothing BUT magic, Leander and his brother were very spoilt children, and were always in competition for their parents affection and validation.

Amit Thakkar:

Parents names: Sarika and Madhav Thakkar

Siblings: Only child.

Blood status: Muggle born

Life in general: Amit was born in India, where he spent most of his younger childhood, at the age of 8 he started showing signs of magical ability, which he kept secret from his parents in worry that they would disown him, at the age of 9 he finally found the courage to tell them, and they were thrilled! Which surprised him, they moved to Britain when Amit was 10, and he started at Hogwarts the following year.

Everett Clopton:

Parents names: Jacqueline and Borris Clopton.

Siblings: Younger sister, Beatrice.

Blood status: Half blood

Life in general: Everett grew up in the muggle world and went to muggle school until he was 11. His magic was always evident though, and his mother (a witch) would often teach him things she knew when he was growing up. His muggle father didn't mind the whole "magic thing" but tired to keep out of that side of things, his younger sister has no magic abilities, and would often argue with Everett whenever he pulled magic pranks on her.

I planned to make first post more introductory, but what’s more representing than running after the bus that didn't wait anyway, next bus not appearing and ending up in uber.

So as i am sitting in backseat i want to introduce myself.

My name is Dominika i’m 18 years old for 16 days now. I live in Poland and i was born here but first years of my life i was living in Germany because of my father’s job. I was supposed to be born in India because of the same reason. I still travel a lot. I have patchwork family, like really, almost every child is from different set of parents. I’m homeschooled since September 2023 and i enjoy it a lot. I practice fencing that i started along with homeschooling. Music and cats are love of my life.

Appearance: Ville is a short and stout person, at around 5’6”. They have red and black hair, dyed right down the middle. Over it, a white headband, along with some ear piercings and green eyes. They’re wearing a white undershirt over their baggy brown sweater. They also have light yellow work gloves on their hands at all times. Finally, they have baggy leggings that bunch up near the bottom, and sparkly, gray house slippers.

Backstory: Ville lived in the quiet, Swedish countryside with their grandparents. Wheat blowing in the wind, getting homeschooled everyday by Grandma, it was a poetic lifestyle. Ville was quite happy there too, but when they got a little home computer, that made them very happy. After some internet use, they started making little glassblowing creations to ship all over the world, working out of their grandparent’s barn. Their Internet shop blew up practically overnight, with people from India, America, Russia, begging for their art pieces. They actually entered Hope’s Peak by sending a talent scout a vase. Ville still charged for the case, of course.

She ended up in the British museum later on but hated it so much she became a human

Britain was incredibly creeped out and gave her to India

India noticed she looked like Rome, China and Persia so like any responsible adult he went to ask for child support

everyone got emotionally attached so now they have to raise a kid together

they've already started saving up for her therapy

India is her favourite parent (no real reason other then they look the most alike)

Every day she changes which culture's traditional clothes she'll wear cause her parents are very competitive and nationalist

China Persia and Rome have to bring her id around to prove they're her parents or people will assume they kidnapped a random child

her favourite color is pink. Only Persia has understood this

Her parents bought her a lot of jewelry

What is Redígo?

Hi there! My first post on Tumblr! Here’s who I am and what I’m doing here:

My name’s David, I’m a teacher and a game designer, and I’ve just recently published “Redígo: the ready-to-go roleplaying game”. It’s a game that uses hand signs instead of dice and plain old creativity and memory instead of pen and paper. You can even ditch the tabletop and play it on a walk, in the car, while having a picnic, even during class! Wherever you are, this game can transport you to another world just. like. that. (and to be fair, you can play it with dice too, if you prefer.)

You might be surprised to know, given how simple and easy to learn it is, that I’ve been developing it for the last 10 years or so. That’s about the time that I had the idea of using roleplaying to help my students learn English and develop their writing skills instead of forcing them to learn with textbooks written by other people. I found that this technique makes them invest in their story (and therefore, in themselves) to become better communicators, more creative thinkers, and even happier people.

I developed my game by learning from other roleplaying games and slowly cutting away everything that seemed to get in the way of my students joyful learning (and sometimes adding things back in when I’d cut out too much). The Redígo system is the result, and now it’s time to share it with the world!

As for the personal stuff: I was born in the US, but I’ve spent the last two decades living in Asia, mostly in China, but since before the pandemic my wife and two sons have been living in India, where I’ve been going full time with online classes and homeschooling my kids. I have to admit I don’t really understand the US anymore aside from what I read in the news (which doesn’t really make sense), but I’m always learning! It’s a dream to be living free of the restrictions of typical education systems, using Redígo to help kids learn.

Updates on the other siblings! just felt like checking back in on the others.

First is Carley's family. Their kids are standing oldest to youngest left to right. Kenneth, Salvador, Maxwell, India, Gracie and youngest Nicole who was born right before this picture was taken (just in game play lol) Carley was worried about being able to afford having so many children so fast. But as the church they attend and work for has grown they've thankfully been giving Trent consistent raises and it's not as much a worry anymore. Kenneth has been giving his parents trouble recently has he's been more focused on his homeschool co-op's soccer team rather than his actual homeschool work. Maxwell has also been reprimanded several times for stealing toys from others houses. Trent and Carley are praying feverishly for the watcher to break these behaviors. The rest of the children are doing well and are fairly boring

.

Asher and his little family are doing great they have a great work-life balance at their current teaching jobs, and emma goes to the same school. They are finally looking towards buying a house. Their daughter Emma has very limited interaction with both of their families, but they do make the drive to San My to hang out with Rebecca from time to time. Rebecca and Annabel are still living their best lives! They've been able to move into a very swanky apartment and are enjoying being child free. Annabel is one of 3 hosts for a popular fashion talk show, and Rebecca has just sold a screenplay that is expected to do just as well as her last 2, which became very popular movies. YOUNG JACK.

Homeschooled until the age of seven by his mother, Jack's life changes overnight when she is tragically killed during a high-speed car chase: Teague uproots the pair from their previously nomadic lifestyle to a house on the outskirts of Central London, and his own grief enables Jack's harsh, overbearing grandmother to gain a foothold in this now fractured family's life and exert her own influence on it. Despite the upheaval, and unreliability of a father who turns to alcohol and his criminal past to cope, Jack does the best he can to get through school and make something of himself with qualifications and a good education.

In spite of a kidnapping and hostage attempt from some of Teague's old associates, Jack nearly manages it -- until he meets a handsome Frenchman, already long out of school, Christophe-Julien de Rapièr. Jack's association with a man he blindly idolises leads him into a downward spiral of crime, alcohol and drugs, until he is betrayed and set up by his something-more-than-friend and the rose tinted spectacles are finally lifted. Jack assists in apprehending him, but must still atone for his part in the man's spate of violent crimes, and undertakes months of community service at a local LGBT+ centre before he can start anew.

He manages that, for a few years, until he is offered a lucrative position as a foreign operative for the East India Trading Company, working out of Tilbury Docks in London, for esteemed businessman Cutler Beckett.

This verse encompasses Jack's upbringing, until the abrupt end of his tenure for the East India Trading Company aged twenty-five, when his flat is set alight and he is forced to flee the country. I tend to default this verse as being set during the late 1970s/1980s, but I am definitely flexible depending on the thread!
