it's weird cus I'm connected to all these places everywhere, some places through my own experiences like spending time there, for example in france, some through my family like England (and France tbh), and some through love like new york for example but none of them I am tethered to the way I am to germany
I think this is what they mean by home country, the place you return to to be grounded and bound to somewhere again.

UPDATE POST!!
I'M BACK EVERYONE!!
So, I went on a kind of unannounced hiatus... Because I have been in Europe and my home country! Lots of crazy stuff happened there, especially with me and my mom's health. But we don't have time to get into all that yet.
We went to Italy for a bit! We saw Venice, Murano and Burano. That was cool!
Then, the best thing... We went to London and saw Hadestown on West End!!! I stage doored, and got my playbill signed and pics with the cast, including my absolute favorite actor on West End, Donál Finn!
I have been drawing a lot lately, but it has been for myself instead of social media. I have been focusing on improving my skills and stuff, without the fear of being judged. I'm gonna go back to sharing art soon, though!
So, yeah. That's where I have been! I'll be more active when we settle back into America and I start school. I'm starting High School, so wish me luckkk 😭. I was only gone because I had absolutely no time to post. But I'm glad to be back!

Suggestion for Doctors and Humor From Slim Randles
Not a rant, I promise, just a suggestion. Then a fun story from #humor writer, Slim Randles. Enjoy.
Happy Monday! A good way to start the week is with a smile. I’m glad the barn cat I had, never heard of Pottery Barn. 🙂 Total patient health care. When I worked in the hospital many moons ago, one of my duties was to attend the daily discharge rounds on the floors that I covered as a chaplain. These daily gatherings were attended by nurses from the floor, as well as respiratory therapists,…

Lua Avwena
In the world of Lua Avwena, Witches & Gods are considered to be 2 opposing beings. Making Marime & her siblings no less than abominations- the worst of all kinds of halfbreeds, despised by all who knew of their heritage. Yet you couldn't tell, when looking at them, could you?
Were they jealous, of their unusually long lifespan and enhanced abilities?
Did their religious beliefs lead them to believe that pureblooded beings were inherently superior, despite modern sciences indicating that genetically mixed peoples had a more diverse and therefore more interesting gene pool?
Oh, the potions are boiling over, so let's put a pin in this and continue later.

A Melancholic Homecoming
By Jenny Park
Cicero, the Roman scholar, once proclaimed, “The soil in their native land is dear to all the hearts of mankind.” Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is that soil for me – a land etched with both happiness and heartache, a place that pulls me back despite the push of painful memories. A city that pulsates with neon dreams, where towering skyscrapers pierce the sky and flurrying streets are filled with the symphony of people.
My time in Seoul has been fragmented, punctuated by visits filled with goodbyes. I haven’t exactly lived there long enough for me to call it my “home.” Each time I visit, I was left with the feeling that although my heart may deny this land and its nature because of the unpleasant memories that constantly roam my mind like a fish trapped in its fishbowl — deep down — I know that this is where I belong and it is the place where I will undeniably spend my future in. I may not have a strong semblance of love for the place, but I have accepted it as my own.
Each of my visits held the sweetness of family adventures: exploring hidden corners, the thrill of amusement parks, and the cozy comfort of cafes and bustling malls. However, a nagging emptiness remained. My connections here were fleeting, friendships never quite taking root. Perhaps it reflected the financial struggles my single mother faced, forcing our stays to be short. My roots, if formed, weren’t strong enough to hold.
Nevertheless, Seoul isn’t just about fleeting joys. Just like a bear ripping into the flesh of its next prey — a deer — it holds the metallic and distasteful taste of a broken family. Memories of my father trying, in his own flawed way, to connect, constantly flash in my mind to this day. His attempts to win us over, despite his own struggles and self-destructive habits, felt empty. Even the early mornings, where he’d disappear to gamble and drink with friends I loathed, are etched into my mind. As a child, I loved him to the point I looked up to him. But at that time, I was clueless. I knew that he loved me to a certain point compared to my older sister, even so he only did because I was clueless about the harm he caused our family but in truth, I knew it all. It’s the harsh reality, but I believe that’s where the seed of my fear of abandonment was first sown.
Despite the pain, a bittersweet homecoming awaits. My high school graduation hangs over on the horizon, forcing me back into reality; the reality that I would have to return to Seoul. It feels like an anchor dragging me away from the life I’ve built elsewhere, away from my mother and my dog. Ultimately, amidst the apprehension, there’s a flicker of excitement. It’s the thrill of change, of shedding past hurts and the chance of creating a stronger, better version of myself.
Seoul might hold a Pandora’s box woven with threads of joy and sorrow. Regardless, Cicero’s words resonate deeply. This land, though marked by struggle, holds the soil in which my heart finds its true home. This homecoming might be laced with uncertainty, but it’s undeniable – Seoul is where my narrative will begin again, a place where the roots of my future will finally take hold.
