the imagery in ep 11 and the themes surrounding exploitation and lack of bodily autonomy. godddd. like. yeah it makes you uncomfortable!!! it’s supposed to!!!! you look at it and you see what Knives is doing to Vash and the other plants and you’re meant to think HEY THIS IS WRONG. like it’s a lot more subtle in trimax but it’s still THERE and you’re still meant to see it and think HEY. WHAT THE FUCK. tristamp tackles the theme in a lot less subtle way but this is something that’s carried from trimax just in a different way and both versions drive me insane

After a little while the film ended, and the credits began to play, accompanied by a soundtrack.

Attention no longer on the film anymore, Mace glanced towards Casimir and grinned at him, even though he probably couldn't even see. He noticed the other looked pretty interested in the film, though if he had to guess, it was probably more to do with the acting aspect than the actual story. Which was totes okay, a bit silly, even!

He waited for a moment, before stretching dramatically, sticking out his legs and lifting his arms all the way out with a sigh, breaking through the silence.

"Well! That was fun!"

He chirped, attempting to fight his fatigue in order to sound a little more energetic. He didn't know if he was that successful, though. He might've just sounded pretty pathetic or something.

"TBH, I figured it out a good way in, but I still liked it, it was kinda silly, I think! Kyehehe, ya looked pretty invested over there yourself."

He added casually with a playful snicker, even though it was as little lower energy that he'd usually sound.

He rubbed at his eyes and stopped himself from yawning, then glanced quickly at the credits that were still playing. Hm. They should probably switch the film off now, shouldn't they?

For the second afternoon in a row that week, Mace found himself walking down the same corridor of the Diasomnia dorms. He would have come by sooner, having finished downloading all of the stuff onto the drive way earlier, but he got a bit distracted doing... a few different things. He hoped Casimir didn't mind the wait too much. It would be a shame if he did.

Approaching Casimir's door, he knocked the same way he did last time, before stepping back.

"Yello~! Guess who it is~!"

He called out, combing his fingers through his hair to neaten it up a bit while he waited for the door to open. Not that he was trying to make it look extra neat. But more... trying to make it seem like he didn't just crawl out of bed a few hours ago, just to only make it in time to attend the last class of the day. Because he definitely didn't. Definitely.
