[The Jokester]. Please welcome [Vincent Lewis(He/Him)] to Huntsville, WV. They are a [48]-year-old [Resident] who lives in [Town]. You may see them around working as a [Manager @ Bucky’s Diner]. Poor unfortunate soul. We’ll see if they survive.
FULL NAME: Vincent Lewis FACECLAIM: jake johnson HEIGHT: 5’10 AGE: 48 DOB: September 4th OCCUPATION: Bucky’s Diner ROLE: Hunter IDENTITY: He/Him ORIENTATION: bisexual RELATIONSHIP STATUS: taken by falco romero
Biography
Vincent has been in Huntsville for a little over five years now, having arrived completely accidentally from wrong turn after wrong turn, the last turn being at the fork in the road. When he first arrived he thought the people were joking with him and didn’t think much of it till dusk fell and he was pulled into a nearby building. What he saw that night was unexplainable to him and he hated that, he felt like everything had to have some sort of explanation.
It took him a few weeks to adjust to this new lifestyle and come to terms with it as well but it was quick as he took a job as the manager at the local diner in town where he’s worked since. It’s been a good gig for him, a way to meet the folks around town and being the type to help out with bussing, taking orders, even as far as helping cook some if the help is needed.
He always tries to make people’s day in some way even if it’s cracking a joke here and there. Vincent doesn’t like talking about his life outside of Huntsville and tends to keep that to himself and while he used to not like nicknames the ones people have given him such as Vin or Vinny have grown on him and goes by Vin a majority of the time now.

57 years ago today...
"Batman" premiered on ABC TV, January 12th, 1966. The series quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Children were able to watch it as a straight adventure series, while adults could appreciate it's camp sensibilities and dead-pan humor. The series had a colorful pop art style that was unlike anything else on TV. The series also had a huge impact on sales of Batman comics, as well comic books in general, and helped launch Batman into his current status as the most popular comic book character of all time.
The series was originally intended to be an hour long, but ABC only had two half-hour time slots available, so the episodes were split in two. Which the first part of the Episode would leave our Dynamic Duo in a cliff hanger for the BATFAN’s to stay tuned into the the second part of the story and wonder how their Heroes will escape from the rogues gallery of villains
Batman ran three seasons 120 Episodes and the
series spun-off a motion picture in 1966 featuring most of the TV cast.

The other things which made this Live Action TV Series Great was the Bat gadgets such as the Ironic Batmobile which was designed and built George Barris using 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car he had purchased from Ford for $1.00. Ford had used it for many years to promote "the car of tomorrow"
And Mr Barris had only three weeks and $15,000 (US) to turn it into the Batmobile, which included adding a Ford Galaxy chassis
Even to when people see the Original TV Batmobile it turns heads it’s the most Famous car from TV and film History
This past last year we lost the legend Batman himself Mr Adam West 9th June, 2017 at the age of 88
I was so grateful to had meet Mr West while attending LA Comic Con 2016 I was able to have a few laughs with the Man himself who was a kind and friendly gentleman it only lasted a short time meet and greet but I will never forget it as I Met My BATMAN
Mr West will live on as he made TV History and worldwide fans young and old and he will always be in our heart

‘FOLLIES’ TRIVIA
Sidney Guilaroff, Lucille Ball’s hair dresser, who takes responsibility for her famous ‘golden red’ for this movie, becoming her trademark color.
Although they appear in different segments, this is the only feature film collaboration between “I Love Lucy co-stars" Lucille Ball and William Frawley. Coincidently, Frawley's character in this film shares a striking similarity with his iconic character of Fred Mertz on “I Love Lucy.” In this film he plays a money-hungry curmudgeon of a landlord, much like the show. In the above photo, he appears with director Minnelli and co-star Brice.
The horse ridden by Lucille Ball is the Lone Ranger's Silver!
Lucille Ball was actually fired by Ziegfeld from his road company production of Rio Rita in the 1930s.
In February 1956, Lucy and Desi appeared on “MGM Parade” to promote their MGM film Forever Darling. The show also included footage of Lena Horne singing from Ziegfeld Follies.
Lucy also played a showgirl in pink in “Lucy Gets Into Pictures” (ILL S4;E19) aired on February 21, 1955. The scene was inspired by Ziegfeld’s legendary stage shows featuring beautiful women wearing elaborate costumes navigating long staircases. To solidify the comparison, Ricky says he is going to a meeting with Mr. Minnelli. Vincente Minnelli was one of the directors of Ziegfeld Follies.
Lucy Ricardo had previously cavorted around in a lampshade in the manner of a Ziegfeld girl in both the unaired pilot and “The Audition” (S1;E6).
Ziegfeld Follies includes a sketch for Red Skelton called “When Television Comes” aka “Guzzler’s Gin” in which a (future) television spokesman gets increasingly sloshed on his product. This sketch was an obvious influence on Lucy’s Vitameatavegamin routine in “Lucy Does a TV Commercial” (ILL S1;E30) aired on May 5, 1952.
Ziegfeld Girl Eve Whitney appeared on “I Love Lucy” episode “The Charm School” (ILL S3;E15). She used her own name for the character.
The Telegraph Boy in "A Sweepstakes Ticket" Arthur Walsh - appeared on “I Love Lucy” in “Lucy Has Her Eyes Examined” (ILL S3;E11) as Arthur ‘King Cat’ Walsh. He teaches Lucy how to jitterbug.
The first Judge in the “Pay the Two Dollars” James Crehan also played the Police Detective on “I Love Lucy in “The Great Train Robbery” (ILL S5;E5) first aired on October 31, 1955.
Porky, a voice on the telephone in “Number Please” Peter Lawford, played “Password” against Lucille Ball on September 24, 1964. At the time, Lawford was married to President Kennedy’s sister, Patricia. On November 26, 1968, Ball was a guest on “The Tonight Show” when Peter Lawford was sitting in for Johnny Carson.
Chorus Boy Bert May appeared as a solo dancer on “The Lucy Show” in “Lucy and Tennessee Ernie Ford” (TLS S5;E21) in February 1967.
In the dressing room, Lucy jokes with Fanny Brice, one of the funniest women in showbusiness. This was the only time Ball and Brice collaborated and was Brice’s last film.
Ziegfeld’s follies began on Broadway, so it was appropriate that the show featured past and future Broadway musical stars:
Lucille Ball ~ Wildcat (1960)
Carol Haney ~ The Pajama Game (1954)
Tommy Rall ~ Call Me Madame (1950)
Fanny Brice ~ The Ziegfeld Follies
Marion Bell ~ Brigadoon (1947)
Victor Moore ~ Anything Goes (1934)
There was a lot of material that was not filmed, but written and cast. Some of the original skits would have added “Lucy” performers Mickey Rooney, Ann Sothern, and Van Johnson to the cast.

𝐉𝐎𝐀𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍 𝐆𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎 “It is always fatal to have music or poetry interrupted.”
➤ 𝔹𝔸𝕊𝕀ℂ𝕊
Name: Joaquin Gael Bennett Castillo Nicknames: DJ Quino, JQ Date of Birth: 03 April 1993 [31] Place of Birth: Marbella, Spain [Spanish-American] Hometown: North Hills, NY, USA Current Residence: New York City, NY, USA Occupation: DJ, Music Producer
➤ 𝔽𝔸𝕄𝕀𝕃𝕐
Father: Javier Castillo † Mother: Maria Castillo (née Romero) † Adoptive Father: Vincent Bennett Adoptive Mother: Sarah Bennett Sibling(s): Alessandra Castillo-Arrington
➤ 𝔹𝔸ℂ𝕂𝕊𝕋𝕆ℝ𝕐
Joaquin lived the good, comfortable life. He grew up in a gated community, went to the best schools, made lifelong friends and had access to every opportunity any kid could ever dream of. All thanks to the two most caring and down-to-earth people he knew. To this day, he carries the same morals they'd always instilled in him. Always reach for the stars but never cease to be humble, they said. Always strive to do good but never allow your privilege to incapacitate you in empowering those around you. Along with these words, it was their great encouragement and continuous support that got Joaquin through all that he needed to realise his true potential and pursue his dreams in music. Today, he is one of the most sought-after DJs in the business.
Joaquin is a natural at what he does. On top of being able to put on quite memorable shows, he has a charm about him that effortlessly draws in crowds. It's always a good time where he's concerned. But unlike some of his peers, he doesn't waste his time partying senselessly. Sure, he loves a good party, but he'd never allow himself a moment of recklessness that could potentially destroy everything he's worked so hard for. With his lifestyle, it's so easy to make this mistake. Unfortunately, this constant refusal to engage in "a little fun" - the kind that often results in headaches and scandals - has earned him the twisted reputation of being some "pretentious rich boy who's had his career handed to him", unsurprisingly by those outside his inner circle. But it's been some time since he's let this bother him. He's learned since then. He has much more important things to attend to than devote his time entertaining such baseless rumours. Things like family.
He was ten years old when the Bennetts took him into their home, raising and loving him like their own. Like he knew they would their son, if only he had dodged his fate as narrowly as Joaquin had. And for that, he has much to be thankful for. That much he knows. But it didn't take away from the fact that for as long as he can remember, not one day has gone by when he hasn't thought of his roots; where he came from, where his family could be, if they were still alive for that matter, and what kind of life he would be leading if he hadn't ended up in the hospital that one fateful day.

Background/History
Pre Hogwarts: Jenny was born in the US and lived there for 2 years. She was proclaimed the heir of the Gallegos fortune due to her strong Magical Abilities. This angered her Aunt Bianca so much that she abused Jenny. Often hitting, yelling, and cursing her but she would always obliviate her memory after. She cursed Jenny making it so she was unable to have kids (unless they are born with strong powers). When she was unsuccessful she decided to just kill her off by marking her for death and sacrificing her to Tezcatlipoca. Jenny's mother found out about everything her sister has done and fought with her before leaving the country and moving to England. They once more obliviated Jenny's memories and forbidden her from leaving the Manor. She was fine with that until Jacob went off to school and both her parents started working longer hours. Her aunt who is a Muggle would often come over to babysit Jenny and show her a lot of muggle things. But One day a death eater made their way into the Manor sent to kill Jenny as a warning to her father. Her Aunt got in the way to protect Jenny from dying in front of her. Her father was able to make it before the death eater was able to finish their task. Not wanting his daughter to remember seeing the death of her aunt he once more obliviated her memories. After that Jenny became very lonely and depressed when she was left alone. Often having nightmares of her forgotten memories. When Jacob ran away she broke down mentally and physically refusing to eat and never leaving her room. Once her Hogwarts letter arrived she began to open up again.
1st Year: Jenny is excited to finally go to school and explore other places outside the manor ground. She isn’t really used to talking to others so she comes off as odd. Often mimicking others’ actions and personality. She doesn't focus on any of the vaults and just pays attention to school and friends. You would see her exploring and talking to people and animals often.
2nd Year: The start year is similar to her first year. Often hanging around Rowan, Merula, Barnaby. Once the Ice vault starts to affect her and her friend Jenny takes an interest. When she found notes left behind from her brother she became invested in finding him. Jenny starts to sneak around closed-off areas of the school and in the forest at the end of the year.
3rd Year: she meets Tonks at the start of the year and joins her for pranks. Eventually meeting Tulip and things got very very chaotic whenever the three are together. She starts to spend a lot of time with Barnaby. Eventually, he finds out about her ability and they become really close. They were often seen with one another, and everyone thinks they are dating but they aren't. As the vaults become more dangerous Jenny starts to get more involved so she can protect her friends.
4th Year: She meets Charlie this year and starts to hang out with him and Bill. They both become a brother figure to Jenny. They even take her back to their place during the holidays. She focuses less on the vaults this yeah and more on her friend. Eventually going on a date with Barnaby without knowing it and being her date to the dance. Jenny still got in trouble for looking for the vault in the woods and ends up in detention.
5th Year: When the year starts Jenny was ready to start looking for any clues but because of detention she wasn't able to. She actually starts developing a crush on Jae. When Rakepick shows up Jenny does not like her at all. She didn't say anything because she didn't want to be rude, but when Snape said not to trust her Jenny told him her thoughts. As year 5 continues Jenny became more stressed but didn't show or told anyone. She helped others with their problems to ignore her own. Once at the vault, she tried to talk to the dragon, but when Rakepick attacked there was nothing she could do but fight it. when Jenny found Jacob she was happy it was finally over. (It was the first time anyone has seen her cry) of course, when he eventually left she was really hurt ,but she put that to the side and tried to help her friends that have been hurt both physically and mentally. Before going home she goes back into Jacob's office and finds the journal that is full of all the obliviate memories. After being taken from mad-eye Jenny returns home and reads the journal. She loses all the trust of her friends and family and locks herself away from everyone the entire summer
6th Year: Jenny tried to hide her emotions and make things back to normal like things where before, but ultimately failed when she noticed everyone acting strange. She literally was doing everything to help her friends, find her brother and the next vault, and keep her grades up that she neglected her health. She rarely slept or eat and the only time she did was because Snape made her. ᴴᵉ ʷᵒⁿ'ᵗ ᵃᵈᵐᶦᵗ ᶦᵗ ᵇᵘᵗ ʰᵉ ᵈᵒᵉˢ ʷᵒʳʳʸ ᶠᵒʳ ʰᵉʳ ᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵒᵏˢ ᵃᶠᵗᵉʳ ʰᵉʳ. When Rowan was killed Jenny literally broke. She was a mess cry and screaming as she held on to her lifeless body. After that, she joins Merula and Ben wanting to kill Rakepick. Once she finally meets back up with Jacob she confronts him for running away. Before he leaves again she hands the hair clip to him and makes him promise to bring it back once everything is done. Once Alanza arrives at the school Jenny didn't like her at all. She felt like Alanza was trying to take Roman's place.
7th Year: Jenny gets engaged to Barnaby to help him from being forced into an arranged marriage. They become more of a couple then just friends to make the marriage work eventually Jenny does fall for him.
Order of the Phoenix / 2nd Wizarding War: Becomes an Auror after school joining Tonks and becoming an apprentice of mad eye. Joins the Order helps with Intel, investigating, and spying. Fights at the battle and finally is confronted by her aunt. Jenny is able to kill her after everything she has done.
Post-War: Jenny still works as an Auror until her 50 where she becomes a healer at the school. Jenny becomes pregnant a few months after the war but loses her kid before they were born. During one of Jenny's assignments, she finds an infant child whose family was killed. Knowing that the child has no other family Jenny adopts him and raises him as her own. Jenny eventually gets pregnant again and had a girl named Melody who has the same powers as her.
Old Age & Death: Jenny is 97 when she dies of old age.
Personality
Good: Loyal, Loving, Kind, Optimism, Adventurous, Resourceful, Bold, Playful, Affectionate, Funny, Smart, Lively, Strong, Reliable, Determined, Cheerful, Friendly, Honest, Easygoing

Knew that something was off with Rakepick
Actually really good at potions but doesn't like to show off (snape knows but doesn't want it to go to her head)
Goes to the forbidden forest when she is upset to speak with the animals
It's strange to see Jenny when she is serious because she acts like a completely different person.
She stopped growing so she wears heels
Joined the order because of Tonks
When she goes home she invites Barnaby to stay, so he doesn't have to go back to his place if he feels uncomfortable.
The Romero family has 3 house elves but they are all "free". They were bought and set free the very same day, but given an option to say and look after the house and kids while they were at work in exchange for housing and food.
Never had a real friend until she started school. No one other than the family has seen her up until then.

TAA2 - CLAYTHORNE’S NOTES
Dr. Clay Claythrone
Notes Dated: April 22, 2271
I started with a group session that disseminated the basics of unmerging to the group. The usual process. After the group briefing, many of the potential patients left. But there were five remaining patients when I finished, so I brought them back one by one. This process is typical.
[Prior Patients Information Redacted]
Patient #5: Aydan Matthew Perryne Age: 29 years Height: 5’9” Weight: 160.4 lbs Merge Type: Transformative, human bond, 4 bodies in 1 The last of my patients today is a transformative merge that goes by the name “Aydan Matthew Perryne”. But there are really four boys in one body that go by the following names: Tarran Eerry (host body), Patrick McGrady, Ayo Cahine, and Mateo Romero. His story was one of the darkest I’ve heard in a long time and is enclosed on a separate document. Archivist Note: This document was destroyed before I was able to read it
Aydan agreed to a memory probe that started the night of June 7, 2259, hours before Tarran was to turn 18. That’s when the boys merged. There was no audio during the probe feed but that is because of the age of the memory, thoughts at the moment are usually forgotten. I have the probe saved, but I’m writing down what I saw just in case the file corrupts:
Tarran, Ayo, Patrick, and Mateo are together in an experimentation chamber that is well kept but looks old. The boys are touching in some way or another and all have IVs hooked to the crook of their elbows. The IVs lead to hanging sacks above the boys. According to what Aydan told me after getting the probe done, the IVs contained a merging agent taken from radiated fungi and Vragoran* blood, the merging agent described is something that Geni-Corp uses. Then, suddenly, the boys are pulled together into one body (Tarran Eerry’s body) by an unknown force, typical to merging. From here, the feed starts to get blurry, but Aydan pulls the IV out of himself and heads towards the door, shoving people aside and making a break for the exit. He seems taller than most of the grown men in the room and he seems to have more limbs than the average man, but once he makes it to the exit the feed was too blurry to continue watching. Aydan blacked out shortly after anyway. **Vragorans are an alien race that has been thought to have had an influence on transformative merges due to their ability to change forms in darkness.
Aydan told me that the facility indeed was one of Geni-Corp’s. He remembers it being close to the wall*, but can’t remember the exact location due to his degraded mental state at the time. **For those of you unfamiliar with the layout of Windtmüre, there’s a wall that separates the country from the southern “wastelands”. Originally built on a time crunch when the war was occuring, it now serves to keep out banished members of society like a death penalty.
I told him about the risks he’d take when pulling apart a transformative merge, and how little it’s been done. Listed below are the potential side-effects that I told Aydan about: 1. Their bodies will want to merge again (with each other) for some time, so they’d need to be careful about being too close to each other. 2. Sometimes they will all feel the same things, whether it be pain or pleasure. 3. There’s usually a vague psychic connection between the bodies. 4. Patches of the skin may be swapped between the bodies like birthmarks. 5. Memories will still be communal, even some new memories. While none of these sound too horrible, they can make it hard to move away from merging partners. Aydan, all of his voices, told me that it would be worth it. I gave him my information and told him to get into contact with me when he was ready.
After this, he asked for some information for a friend of his. A blended merge by the name of Vincent Adair, a man who has been alive for the past 237 years, since the Atrocity Event that started the merging happened. I worry that his willingness to unmerge will cause his body to become old and quickly die. But, he could go back to being 37. I told Aydan this, he told me he’d pass it onto Vincent then left...

Night of the Living Dead (1968)
“They’re coming to get you, Barbra.”
When the bodies of the recently deceased begin coming back to life to try and kill and eat the living, a group of strangers take refuge inside an empty rural home.
—————————————
Fright: 1.7 / 5 Barbras
For me the most unsettling moments of fright are near the beginning when the attacks first start occurring. Sure, packs of the undead banging on your door is a creepy idea, but the potential for some stranger to suddenly attack you is just so much more real.
I feel like this was probably a very frightening movie when it came out, but time has dulled its blade a bit. For devotees of the genre Night of the Living Dead probably doesn’t even cause a blip on their fear radar. But for less desensitized viewers I think it probably walks a nice line between being spooky enough to creep you out a little, but tame and dated enough that it won’t keep you up all night.
It’s easy to look back on this one and not remember any big scares. But that’s probably just because the movie isn’t really into big scares. It prefers to charge the atmosphere of a scene with spooky tension. Who will live? Who will die? What’s going to happen next?
Gore: 2.3 / 5 Butcher Counter Scraps
This one is tough to measure. Old school gore gore rarely measures up to modern standards, and the whole movie is in black & white (which always makes things seem a little less visceral to me). So by modern zombie movie standards this one is pretty tame.
On one hand there certainly is a bit of gore, but on the other hand it is generally used to suggest that something rather gruesome occurred instead of actually showing it happening.
For instance, they never show anyone getting bit or pulled apart or anything like that. But they do imply that such things have happened and then show the ghouls eating “human flesh.” Yet it’s pretty obvious to an adult viewer that the actors are just creepily munching on a prop arm or some meaty bit acquired from a butcher shop.
There’s also a couple of quick shots of a slightly decomposed skull.
For the most part the only gruesome things you actually see being done to people are things like getting shot or stabbed.
Jump Scares: Very few
There are a couple of potential startle moments, but they are a bit tame by today’s standards. I didn’t notice any really aggressive jump scares to speak of.
Review:
Night of the Living Dead is a film that goes beyond the confines of its spooky premise to work as a powerful metaphor for its time. While its depiction of women is unfortunately quite bland, the way it deals with race is incredibly interesting. It’s a movie that delights in creating tension more so than going for aggressive scares. While certainly tame compared to modern zombie films, it remains a really fun movie that establishes the heart of a Romero-style zombie movie: a group of survivors who are forced to question whether the real terror is being alone outside with the zombies or inside together with the other survivors.
Thoughts:
Ah, Night of the Living Dead, one of those cinematic classics that everyone has at least heard of even if they’ve never seen.
Is it just me or is anyone else always wary of “classics?” So many of them turn out to be quite boring, or dated, or—worst of all—problematic. And sure, they might have made a big impact on the field, but that doesn’t mean they’re inherently great art, especially decades down the line.
And yet sometimes you’ll watch a so-called Classic and you totally get it.
Oh! Yes, this is why everyone keeps talking about this one.
One of my favorite things about the Horror genre is that so much of it is built up from a foundation of independent works and passion projects. And so much about what makes this movie a classic is because it was made by a bunch of film nerds who just wanted to make a movie. The only limitation placed on them was the scope of their imagination and the confines of their budget.
And that is exactly what allowed it to work outside the usual studio box and synthesize something new.
Here is a movie that has lots of gore (unusual for the time), was shot in black and white (also quite unusual for the time), and it cast a handsome black man as the main character and definitive hero of the movie (very unusual for the time).
Now keep in mind that movie was made in late 1960s America! A time where institutionalized racism was clashing against the force of a powerfully determined and ever-growing civil rights movement. To see a black man being portrayed as the hero—let alone one who heroically fights against white bodies—was almost unheard of in the cinematic pop-culture of the time.
Romero has said that his script hadn’t called for a black man to be cast in the role of Ben, but Duane Jones was chosen for the role simply because his audition had been the best. And while it’s easy to believe that Duane Jones aced that audition (because he’s friggin’ phenomenal in this movie), it’s hard to imagine that they would have even considered casting a white dude in the role. If they had gone that route it would have fundamentally changed the nature of the story (which is just a nice way of saying that it would have ruined everything).
But luckily for us the creators were open-minded enough to cast the role without race in mind. And because of that Night of the Living Dead was able to (inadvertently) tap into the energy of its time. It’s charged with this backlash against American racism. Ben is literally surrounded by white people that want him dead. They either want to ignore his humanity and simply consume him, like the hordes of ghouls do, or they want him dead for threatening the status quo (like Mr. Cooper does inside the house). And in spite of everything he still sticks his neck out to protect the people around him.
In spite of how well it’s held up over the years, for a modern audience one part hasn’t aged especially well: its depictions of women. Now don’t get me wrong, it never goes for the overt sexism that many horror movies manage to. And yet its female characters still manage to be the most bland characters in the film.
The lack of depth is on full display in their depiction of the film leading lady: Barbra. She starts out well enough, but for the vast, vast majority of the movie she is reduced to a hollow character. She is near catatonic most of the time and even when she’s lucid she tends to just ramble on, only partially aware of reality.
If that wasn’t bad enough there are only 3 other women in the movie and their characters almost never step outside the frameworks of The Wife, The Girlfriend, and The Daughter. All the female characters seem to exist only to add depth to the male characters who are the actual movers and shakers of the movie.
(Although in her defense I will say that Mrs. Cooper’s occasional scathing remark to her idiot husband are highly enjoyable.)
The first time I saw this film was in high school and I had heard it hyped up so much that I ended up thinking it was all a bit silly when I first saw it. While I’m sure it was more shocking to see during its time, by today’s standards it is a rather quiet movie. But when I ended up giving it another try, I found that the quietness is one of my favorite things about it.
One of the little details I love is how they use cricket sounds throughout the movie. In spite of all the horror and death we witness, nature continues unabated. It’s as if to say the world doesn’t care about these people’s situation. That little sound that evokes quiet peaceful summer nights is twisted here and it adds this brilliant extra layer of creepiness.
One of the things I’ve always loved about Romero’s zombie movies is that they are always focused on the survivors, not the zombies. The ghouls are slow and stumbling, their only real threat is if they catch you unaware or you let them overpower you with their numbers. The real source of danger is always shown to be the people you’re locked up with.
After all, in these modern times what is more frightening: the masses pounding on your gates or the people you find yourself locked in with?

Context Corner:
Night of the Living Dead may be the great grand-daddy of the modern zombie movie, but many might not know that plenty of zombie movies existed long before it was ever made. The first zombie movie being the 1932 film White Zombie starring Bela Lugosi as an evil witch doctor named Murder Legendre [100% serious. That really was his name].
However, these original zombie movies were very different things from what we consider zombies today. These pre-NotLD films were generally based around second-hand ideas of zombies as seen in Haitian folklore (and misattributed to the religion of voodoo). They featured dead bodies that were reanimated as mindless tools of their master or living people put into a zombie-like trance, not autonomous creatures on the hunt for living flesh.
The closest precursor to Romero’s vision of zombies was seen in the fantastic film The Last Man on Earth, a 1964 picture starring Vincent Price and based on the novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. There a plague sweeps across the country and the infected dead return to life as a type of vampire-esque zombies.
Fun Fact: In spite of its influence on the zombie genre the word “zombie” is never used in Night of the Living Dead. The undead are referred to only as “ghouls.”
—————————————
“So long as this situation remains, government spokesmen warn that dead bodies will continue to be transformed into the flesh-eating ghouls. All persons who die during this crisis, from whatever cause, will come back to life to seek human victims.”

Vincenzo Romano was born in Torre del Greco, Italy, on 3 June 1751, to a poor but pious family. He was baptised Domenico Vincenzo Michele Romano, being given the name “Vincenzo” in honour of the Romano family’s favourite saint, Vincent Ferrer. Romano spent the first years of his life in a very religious family atmosphere, studying the writings of Saint Alphonsus Liguori and developing a strong devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. (below is his birthplace and home).
Though his father initially hoped he would become a goldsmith, he supported his son’s decision to enter the priesthood. Initially, Vincenzo had a difficult time being accepted due to the high number of seminarians and local clergy but he was admitted to the diocesan seminary of Naples at the age of 14.
Ordained in 1775 at the age of 24, Fr Romano worked at Santa Croce Parish, which at the time included the entire city of Torre del Greco, the most populated city in the territory of Naples. He was noted by many for his simple ways, his care of orphans and his work with other candidates for the priesthood.
After the terrible eruption of nearby Mount Vesuvius on 15 June 1794, which almost completely destroyed the city and the parish church, he immediately dedicated himself to the difficult work of material and spiritual reconstruction of the city and the church. He devoted many hours to organising the rebuilding efforts of the city and was even willing to work with his own hands, cleaning up and clearing rubble.
Though often oppressed by political groups and those around him, Romano stayed resilient throughout his time at Santa Croce and made sure always to pay careful attention to the education of children and to evangelisation of the people. He was said to have been a preacher who proclaimed the message of the Gospel in a way that was simple and aimed at educating the faithful.
Sadly, on 1 January 1825, he fell and fractured his left femur, which began a steady decline in his health. He died of pneumonia in Torre del Greco on 20 December 1831, after this long and painful illness but left behind a legacy of committed fraternal charity and care. Recognised for his holiness and the dedication he had to his people, Fr Romano was Beatified by St Pope Paul VI on 17 November 1963, in Rome. His body having been interred in the Basilica of Santa Croce, it was in that place that John Paul II went to venerate him on 11 November 1990, during his pastoral visit to the Church of Naples.
Basilica of Santa Croce
Following the example of the Good Shepherd, Fr Vincenzo Romano was a simple but powerful figure for those in Torre del Greco. He spent a lifetime guiding the community under his care, confirming it in the faith and elevating it through his love.
St Vincenzo was Canonised on 14 October 2018, Saint Peter’s Square, Vatican City by Pope Francis.

Angel vs pain pt 2
Notes: I might have cried couple of times while writing this
warnings: death, suicide, tell how many i missed, major character death
words: 2649
summary: Roman is an guardian Angel to signed to man named Virgil who had lived over 8 years in Romero’s mental institution, because he had tried to take his life more times then anyone else. Roman has to make sure Virgil doesnt kill himself and his task becomes lot harder when Roman realizes after a day he has developed feelings for Virgil.
pairings: prinxiety
“Roman, if you want breakfast you should wake up, like, right now” Roman opened his eyes and saw Virgil’s face over him. Virgil was wearing black eyeshadow that confused Roman.
“Virgil, where did you get eyeshadow?” Roman asked.
“What? Oh, I stole it from this girl who came in today” He shrugged his shoulders and moved away. Roman sat up and looked around the room. I looked much nicer now when he had someone there who he loved.
“You really should get going if you want breakfast” Virgil said again while looking at Roman. Roman nodded and got up. They walked together to the cafeteria.
“Virgil darling, how was your night?” Old women in warden’s uniform. Women was fat and had grey hair. Women hugged Virgil. After that she hold him from his shoulders and looked at him.
“But darling you look paler than normal, where did you get that eyeshadow and… Who is you friend?” Women said. She was talking fast and looking at Roman. Roman smiled.
“I’m Roman Blackburn, ma’am. I’m new here.”
“Well hello there Roman. I’m warden Perry, but you can call me Alfreda, that is my first name. I have been here the longest. I’m kind of grandma to everyone.”
“Wise counsellor…” Roman whispered, but Alfreda heard it. She smiled.
“Yes, exactly. Not many people are able to make the connection.” Roman smiled awkwardly.
“Dearest, we need go get breakfast for Roman” Virgil said and smiled to Alfreda. She sighed.
“Darling, I’m so sorry that I kept you from getting breakfast. The cafeteria just closed. I feel so bad” Alfreda sounded sad.
“It’s okay, ma’am. I wasn’t so hungry” Roman said. Alfreda smiled little bit and walked away. Virgil and Roman walked to the common room. They sat on the sofa. Virgil took magazine from the table next to them and started reading it. Roman looked around and noticed small tv on the wall. Tv was showing some cooking show where women who had big red hair was baking a cake.
There were couple of people in the room with Roman and Virgil. Roman looked at Virgil who was deeply into the magazine.
“Virgil why there is so little patients here?” Roman asked and looked at Virgil. Virgil didn’t look up from his magazine.
“Most of the people sleep long into the day, because they can” Virgil sounded bored.
“Darling, I thought you might want this” Alfreda walked to the sofa Roman and Virgil were sitting on. He had bowl with her and there was steam coming from it. It smelled delicious. Alfreda gave it to Roman.
“Ohh, thank you” Roman took spoon from Alfreda and started eating immediately. He sighed and smiled like little boy who just got some sweets.
“I hope you like it. It’s just porridge, that is made out of rise” Alfreda walked away and Roman kept eating like a maniac. Virgil looked up from the magazine and smelled Roman’s porridge. Roman noticed Virgil’s stare. His mouth was full of food.
“You want some?” Virgil shook his head.
“No, you eat it. You seem to like it” Virgil said and looked down to the magazine. Roman didn’t care that Virgil sounded sarcastic. Porridge was so good he didn’t notice at first when Remy stepped into the room.
Remy looked like shit. He was wearing sunglasses, and leather jacket, but his hair was a mess and he was walking slowly. He was also shaking like hell and swinging from side to side. Roman tapped Virgil’s hand to get his attention. Virgil jumped and ran to Remy. He took his hand and walked him to Roman, who was placing his bowl the table.
“Remy sit down now” Virgil’s voice was full of rage and worry. Remy sat down and Virgil kneeled in front of him. He pulled Remy’s sunglasses off and cupped his face and forced him to looked into his eyes. Virgil sighed and putted Remy’s sunglasses back on. Virgil looked at Roman.
“I need to ask you favour. Could you help me get Remy back to our room?” Virgil asked and Roman nodded. They escorted Remy by pulling his hands. It was amazing that they didn’t get caught. Virgil pulled Remy to the bathroom and under the shower. Once again he removed sunglasses from Remy’s face and looked into him. Remy’s eyes stayed closed. Virgil slapped him.
“Remy, listen to me. How many pills did you take?” Remy opened his eyes slowly and looked into Virgil. Remy looked sad and miserably.
“85” Remy whispered. His voice was so quiet it was almost impossible to hear it. Roman heard Virgil breathing heavily.
“This is last thing you need to tell me, ok? What did you take?”
“Ibuprofen” Remy’s voice just a breath. Virgil turned to Roman.
“Roman go and tell someone call an ambulance.” Roman ran to look for warden.
“You’ll be fine, my friend. You promised me you would leave me here alone. You need to stay alive” Virgil said and moved Remy to position where he was facing the wall. Virgil putted two of his fingers inside Remy’s mouth to make him throw up. Remy threw up little bit, but not enough. After 5 more tries Virgil placed Remy to lay on the wall. Virgil held Remy’s hand in way that he was able to fell his pulse, that was really weak.
Warden Dixon ran in with Roman. He kneeled next to two boys who were siting on the floor. One eyes closed and one being in shock.
“What happened?” Dixon asked and Virgil looked at him.
“I don’t know. He didn’t throw up enough. I think he isn’t going to make it” Virgil looked back to his friend.
Suddenly Remy opened his eyes and his pulse ran fast. He looked straight to Virgil.
“Virgil, I think this is the end of me” Remy tried laughing but he was too weak.
“You can’t die now. When you will be better I’ll go out with out, like you always wanted” Virgil said and tears ran down his cheek.
“That would be nice” Remy said and smiled for the last time. He closed his eyes and now those eyes would stay closed. Virgil got up and walked out the bathroom, ambulance had finally arrived. Roman also told to go out the room. Virgil was standing in middle of the room. Both boys were quiet until warden Dixon stepped out. He shook his head and looked down. Roman saw sadness on his face. He was unable to look at Virgil. Man and women moved Remy to body bag and that on the stretcher. They rolled Remy out the bathroom and out the room. Virgil ran after them.
“Can I say good bye first?” He asked and women said yes. She opened bag so Remy’s pale face was visible. She and the man next to him turned their backs to Virgil to respect him.
Virgil placed little kiss on Remy’s forehead. Tears were still running down his face.
“Why didn’t you tell me you wanted to leave? Wasn’t I enough to make you stay? Good bye my friend” Virgil placed another kiss on Remy’s forehead. He zipped the bag and walked away. He heard how man and women started to take Remy away.
“I feel sorry for him” women said and man sighed.
“You’ll get used to it” Man said and then they were out of Virgil’s hearing area. Virgil walked back to his room. Dixon and Roman were standing in the middle talking. Dixon looked at Virgil.
“Sanders, I have pill for you. I advice you to take it, because you are in shock and that will calm you down” Dixon said and looked at Virgil who was looking down to the floor. Dixon offered little pink pill to him and for his surprise Virgil took it. He didn’t place it in his mouth.
“I have to ask you two to stay here for the rest of the day because we are closing the common room and cafeteria. Someone will bring you food when it’s lunch time.” Dixon sounded calm, but Roman’s hands were shaking. He didn’t understand why Remy’s death affected him so much. He had seen death before, but this time was different.
“Can I have some?” Roman asked. Dixon shook his head.
“Sorry Blackburn. We don’t know what medication is good for you so I can’t give you anything.” Dixon left and closed the room. Virgil lied down on his bed. He still hadn’t taken the pill. He broke it in too and threw half of it to Roman. Roman was confused.
“Take it. It won’t harm you” Virgil said and looked at Roman.
“But it’s your pill.”
“He gave it to me because if I take the whole pill I would sleep all day and wouldn’t try to kill myself.” Virgil said.
“Are you planning to…” Roman wasn’t able to finish his sentence.
“No, not today. Tomorrow maybe.” Virgil sounded like he was kidding but Roman wasn’t sure.
Day went on slowly.
At 12pm Dr. Picani brought them food, but Virgil didn’t eat.
At 13pm Roman fell asleep and woke up when women who he didn’t know came in. Women was wearing pencil skirt and button up shirt with suit jacket. She looked professional.
“Virgil we need to talk” women said and sat on chair she had brought with her.
“Doctor Diane Norris. Long time no see. I heard you gave birth to little baby boy” Virgil said and smiled to the doctor.
“Yes, I did. His name is Leo Virgil Norris” Diane said. Virgil stared at his in surprise.
“You are kidding, right?”
“I am not. If you weren’t here I would never have met Vincent.” Virgil hugged Diane.
“You said we need to talk” Virgil said and sat down to his bed. Neither of them weren’t aware of Roman.
“I heard about Remy. I’m sorry, Virgil” Diane said “but I’m not here to talk about him right now”
“Then I have to ask, what do we need to talk about then?” Virgil frowned little bit.
“I know that you haven’t been eating lately” Diane said.
“I just haven’t been hungry” Virgil replied. Roman realized that he hadn’t seen Virgil eating at all. He had seen him with food but not eating it.
“Virgil… Why? You know you can tell me?” Diane was worried and it shone from her face.
“I’m sorry” Virgil said and he looked at her. Roman saw that small tear ran down his cheek.
“What about I give you some candy and ask Hart to bring you food?”
“That… that would be nice” Virgil and Diane hugged again. Before leaving Diane gave Virgil some milk chocolate. 10 minutes later warden Hart gave Virgil plate full of pasta and chicken.
“Eat it and place it next to the door. Night guard will take it.” Hart said and left. Virgil started to eat.
“Do you think you’ll be able to sleep at night? You slept quite a while” Virgil said between eating. He ate fast and it was clear he hadn’t eaten for a while.
“I think I’ll be fine” Roman said. He thought that even now when Virgil was stuffing his mouth full of food he looked handsome. Virgil didn’t look at Roman when he ate. As soon as he had placed the plate to the floor he broke chocolate he got from Diane. He threw piece from it to Roman’s lap. They ate those in silence.
Roman was smiling at Virgil and he smiled little bit too. Roman opened his mouth to tell this beautiful man that he had fallen for him.
BOOM!
Their room door opened in crash. Women who was completely naked was standing right outside the door. She walked in and looked at Virgil and Roman. She has long golden hair and blue eyes. Both men were in shock. Night guard Connor ran in. Roman hadn’t seen neither one of them before, but Virgil knew them.
“Miss Hilton! What are you doing here? You were supposed to stay in your room like everyone else.” Connor was slim man who was wearing night guard’s uniform. He had already flashlight in his hand.
Women looked ashamed.
“I wanted to see my friend Virgil” women had really child like voice.
“Why aren’t you wearing clothes?” Connor asked.
“I wanted to show Virgil my new tattoo” women turned around and showed Roman and Virgil her back. There was big dragon on it. It was fully black and beautiful.
“Twinkle, you should really put on some clothes.” Virgil said. He was holding back laughs. Connor took Twinkle Hilton away. Door closed behind them and two boys in the room started laughing.
“What was that?” Roman asked in the middle of laughs. Virgil fell from his bed, but that just made them laugh even harder. Virgil stopped laughing and he looked at Roman. He noticed how Roman had the most beautiful eyes and his laugh was so beautiful, it was almost like angels were laughing. Roman finally stopped laughing.
“What are you looking at?” Roman asked and looked worried.
“Nothing, I was just thinking” Roman lifted his eyebrow but didn’t say anything.
Virgil got back up and lied back to his bed.
“Good night Roman” he said. Roman didn’t answer, he just looked at Virgil. It took 8 minutes until Virgil had fallen asleep. Roman got up and walked inside the bath room. He turned on the lights and stared himself from the mirror. He looked deeply into his own eyes. Suddenly he smashed his fist to the mirror. Mirror shattered, but Roman took deep breath and waved his hand and mirror pieces slowed down until they stopped in the air. He placed every single piece back to mirror frame. He waved his hand again and mirror was fixed. He sat down.
Roman noticed that his hand was bleeding, but he didn’t care. He closed his eyes and everything outside himself. Inside his mind he was opening doors to find the door to Heaven. It took awhile, but finally Roman found the golden door the home of guardian angels. In his mind Roman walked to Jade and tapped her shoulder. Roman opened his eyes and he saw Jade sitting in front of him.
“Blackburn, is everything okay? You have never called me here when you are on earth” Jade sounded worried. Roman took Jade’s hand to his.
“I… I need favour.” Roman’s voice was quiet.
“What do you need?”
“I need… I need you to move me to office work or give me new human” Roman said and he stared down to the floor. Tears started running down his cheeks.
“Why?” Jade was shocked and she lifted Roman chin up. She saw tears running on his face. Roman’s tears looked like melted gold. Golden lines were on his cheeks and little pond of gold tears was forming between them.
“I… I have developed feelings towards Vir… my human.” Tears run faster.
“Roman… I… How?”
“I don’t know”
Two of them sat in silence for a long time. Finally Jade spoke.
“I’m not taking you away from Virgil” Her voice was firm and she looked like she had made his mind.
“What? Why?” Roman was surprise. Tears had stopped.
“I think you are only doing good by falling for this man”
“What do you mean?”
“I have seen this before. I have seen angels fall in love with humans and sometimes it’s bad thing, but now. Virgil is more suicidal than anyone else ii have ever send angel to. Maybe with your love he understand he is important”
Roman was about to argue but Jade disappeared. Roman got up and left the bathroom. He sat to his bed and looked at Virgil. Virgil looked so peaceful as he was hugging pillow. Roman couldn’t take his eyes from Virgil.
“For you I would be fallen angel, my love”

HANNUKAH (Chanukah) MIRACLE! 2 Maccabees 10:5-9 It happened that on the same day on which the sanctuary had been profaned by the foreigners, the purification of the sanctuary took place, that is, on the twenty-fifth day of the same month, which was Chislev. And they celebrated it for eight days with rejoicing, in the manner of the feast of booths, remembering how not long before, during the feast of booths, they had been wandering in the mountains and caves like wild animals. Therefore bearing ivy-wreathed wands and beautiful branches and also fronds of palm, they offered hymns of thanksgiving to him who had given success to the purifying of his own holy place. They decreed by public ordinance and vote that the whole nation of the Jews should observe these days every year. Such then was the end of Anti′ochus, who was called Epiph′anes. +LORD JESUS YESHUA THE MESSIAH CHRIST, SON OF GOD, through the prayers of the Holy Maccabee Martyrs Abim, Antonius, Gurias, Eleazar, Eusebonus, Alimus, Marcellus, Solomonia, and Eleazar, have mercy on us sinners! Gospel of John 20:11-16 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus [Yeshua] had lain. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus [Yeshua] standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus [Yeshua]. Jesus [Yeshua] said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus [Yeshua] said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).

Ethiopian Orthodox Akathist to Saint Mother Walatta Petros:
Hail to you, Walatta Petros, a garden! Wrapped in heavenly scent, you are shade for the doves, from the heat of misery that fills our world. Hail to you, Walatta Petros, a mirror! You reveal the Trinity in its holiness to everyone, high and low: now the faithful sit safe on dry ground. Hail to you, Walatta Petros, a light! Your preaching split the darkness and the foolish friends of this world ran eagerly toward repentance. Peace upon you! What no eye has seen nor ear ever heard, that mystery you chose as your wedding finery, refusing a life of luxury. Hail to you, Walatta Petros, our mother! Strength of will carried you through the narrow gate —like thousands of martyrs before and the righteous monks of Waseef. Peace upon you and your forebear Shenoute, arrayed in the armor of chastity! Come, comfort our distress and woe; guard us while the whirlwind rages. Hail to you Walatta Petros, who brings harmony! May the power of your help outweigh the schemes of Satan and of men; may it veil us like a cloud. Peace upon you! We make a walled fortress from your aid; we fear not the assault of godless enemies when they rise against us. Peace upon you! For your children, the brothers and all the sisters— plead without ceasing in the presence of the Lord, that they may avoid temptation. Peace upon you! You escaped the snares of beastly inquity by carrying the guarantee of victory—the cross— as did the disciples of Saint Macarius. Hail to you, Walatta Petros! From the Four Creatures of Heaven to where the Holy Trinity is worshipped, raise the incense of our song— with a censer wrought of light! Prayer to Archangel Michael: St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. +LORD JESUS YESHUA THE MESSIAH CHRIST, PRE-ETERNAL BISHOP, PRE-ETERNAL PATRIARCH & SON OF GOD, through the prayers of Saints Mary Magdalene, Raphael Hawaweeny of Brooklyn, Gabriel Urgebadze, Tikhon Bellavin of Moscow, Moses the Ethiopian, Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Gabriel, Archangel Uriel / Archangel Ariel, Archangel Selaphiel, Archangel, Jehudiel, Archangel Barachiel, Archangel Raguel, Archangel Jeremiel, Archangel Anael, Archangel Jophiel, Archangel Zadkiel, and Maria Skobtsova the New Martyr of Paris, HAVE MERCY ON US SINNERS!

On the Mountain You were Transfigured, O Christ God, / And Your disciples beheld Your glory as far as they could see it; / So that when they would behold You crucified, / They would understand that Your suffering was voluntary, / And would proclaim to the world, / That You are truly the Radiance of the Father!
Song of Songs/ Song of Solomon 5:10-16
My beloved is a shining and fiery light, Chosen from countless thousands. His head is like refined gold; His locks of hair are shiny and black, Like a raven’s feathers. His eyes are like those of doves sitting by pools of water, having eyes bathed in milk and fitly set. His cheeks are like bowls of spices pouring forth perfumes. [His face is rugged, his beard smells like sage, His voice, his words, warm and reassuring.] His lips are lilies dripping choice myrrh. His hands are like elaborate gold set with precious stones. His stomach is like an ivory tablet inlaid with sapphire stones. His legs are like pillars or marble established on golden feet. His appearance is like Lebanon, choice as the cedar trees. His mouth is most sweet and altogether desirable. This is my beloved, my companion, O daughters of Jerusalem!
The Beatitudes:
In Thy Kingdom remember us O Lord, when Thou comest in Thy Kingdom. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen. If it be so, our God whom we serve is in the heavens, able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.” And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell bound into the fiery furnace. “This is the way we should see Christ— He is our friend, our brother. He is whatever is good and beautiful. He is everything. Yet, He is still a friend and He shouts it out, “You’re my friends, don’t you understand that? We’re brothers. I’m not threatening you. I don’t hold hell in my hands. I love you. I want you to enjoy life together with me.” Christ is Everything. He is joy, He is life, He is light. He is the true light who makes man joyful, makes him soar with happiness; makes him see everything, everybody; makes him feel for everyone, to want everyone with him, everyone with Christ.“ -Saints Porphyrios Bairaktaris of Kafsokalivia, Paisios of Mount Athos, Maria Skobtsova the New Martyr of Paris, Seraphim Moshnin of Sarov, John Maximovitch of Shanghai and San Francisco, John Jacob the Romanian Chozebite of Hazeva, Ephrem the Syrian, Nektarios Kefalas of Aegina and Pentapolis, Grigol Peradze, Mitrophan Yang of Beijing, Grand Duchess Elizabeth Fyodorovna the New Martyr,Moses the Black, Tikhon Bellavin of Moscow, and Nino of Georgia pray for us always! Prayer of Saint Paisios Eznepidis of Mount Athos: “Our Lord Jesus Yeshua the Messiah Christ: Do not abandon your servants who live far away from the Church. May your love convict them and bring them back to you.Lord have mercy on your servants who are suffering from cancer. On your servants who suffer either from small or serious ailments. On your servants who suffer from physical infirmities. On your servants who suffer from spiritual infirmities. Lord have mercy on our leaders and inspire them to govern with Christian love. Lord have mercy on children who come from troubled homes. On troubled families and those who have been divorced. Lord have mercy on all the orphans of the world, on all those who are suffering pain and injustices since losing their spouses. Lord have mercy on all those in jail, on all anarchists, on all drug abusers, on all murderers, on all abusers of people, and on all thieves. Enlighten these people and help them to straighten out their lives. Lord have mercy on all those who have been forced to emigrate. On all those who travel on the seas, on land, in the air, and protect them. Lord have mercy on our Church, the bishops, the priests and the faithful of the Church. Lord have mercy on all the monastic communities, male and female, the elders and eldresses and all the brotherhoods of Mt. Athos. Lord have mercy on your servants who find themselves in the midst of war. On your servants who are being pursued in the mountains and on the plains. On your servants who are being hunted like birds of prey. Lord have mercy on your servants who were forced to abandon their homes and their jobs and feel afflicted. Lord have mercy on the poor, the homeless and the exiled.Lord have mercy on the nations of the world. Keep them in your embrace and envelope them with your holy protection. Keep them safe from every evil and war. Keep our beloved Greece (we can add here the USA [or Planet Earth]) in your protective embrace day and night. Embrace her with your holy protection defending her from all evil and war. Lord have mercy on those who have been abandoned and have suffered injustice. Have mercy on families that are going through trying times. Pour your abundant love upon them. Lord have mercy on your servants who suffer from spiritual and bodily problems of all kinds.Lord have mercy on those who are despairing. Help them and grant them peace. Lord have mercy on those that have requested that we pray for them. Lord grant eternal rest to all those who have passed on to eternal life throughout the ages.”
