'Her Majesty and I discussed different ideas for the photographs. I suggested that Annie should keep things simple and that the shoot should be informal, based around The Queen and her family. I suggested four photographs that should be taken at Windsor Castle: The Queen with His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh; The Queen with all of her great-grandchildren; The Queen with her corgis; and one of The Queen and her daughter, The Princess Royal. I felt that The Queen hadn't been photographed often enough with her daughter and, as I have a daughter myself, I thought it would make a special photo for them to share as mother and daughter. The Queen wholeheartedly agreed.'

“I seriously miss Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the second and His Royal Highness Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh, I wish we could have gotten a few more years with them, and most importantly wished Meghan never entered the picture. Because she seriously ruined the last few years of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's lives and to this day are showing no remorse. Just profiting off of telling their "sob story" that never adds up over and over again” - Submitted by Anonymous

Richard Eden stirring the pot…
Archived Link (it’s an archive.today link since archive.org isn’t working)
The relevant section:
Queen Elizabeth abandoned her tradition of decades because of the 'Harry and Meghan problem' as well as the 'Duke of York dilemma'. She felt that she could not exclude those who had stepped down from royal duties if she allowed other 'non-working royals' to join her on the balcony. So we were left with the wide empty spaces there last weekend that would previously have been filled with the smiling faces of younger royals.
When I later spoke to the friend of Prince William, I had hoped that he would bring news of a change to this uninspiring policy. However, what he told me left me worried about the future of the monarchy.
The friend said William was in 'full agreement' with his father about the need for a 'slimmed-down monarchy'. He told me: 'When the older members of the family retire, His Royal Highness won't be inviting anyone else to become working royals. It remains to be seen if he will even want his two younger children to be working royals.'
At 59, the Duchess of Edinburgh is the only other member of 'The Firm' under the age of 60. This means that by the time William ascends the throne, he and Catherine may be the only full-time royals.
'That is what William wants,' the source claims. 'He sees the small European monarchies as the model for the future.'
William’s friends don’t speak to the press so this is definitely someone else talking. Maybe a disgruntled associate of a Windsor relative, because this feels very much like a “you can’t do this foot-stamping toddler tantrum.

The Duke of Edinburgh
CHAPTER ONE: The Thirst is Real
Featuring Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh
I had been invited to join the Royal Family at the Order of the Thistle Service at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland. Apparently, the service celebrated Scotland's highest honor of chivalry and appointed Queen Camilla, and Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh, members of the Order of the Thistle. I dressed in formal suit and drove over to the Cathedral, and I was escorted through security to my seat.
Shortly thereafter, the Royal Family arrived, minus William's wife, Kate while her chemotherapy treatment for cancer continues, or Princess Anne who is recovering at home after an incident involving a horse. The ceremony featured plenty of pomp and ceremony, with The King and Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Edinburgh wearing the iconic green velvet robe and black hats topped with white ostrich feathers while Sophie opted for a soft pink dress and matching hat.
Charles looks every well considering what he's been through, Prince Edward looking more desirable by the day, and their wives looking homely as usual. William looked handsome, with his mother's good looks, and a hint of Charles in him. Maybe in another 10 to 15 years, I'll make a run at him. I greeted each one with a handshake and bow before finding our seats.
Throughout the ceremony, I would scan the crowd admiring the many men at attendance. Occasionally, Edward and would lock eyes, give a small smile before quickly looking away. This happened any number of times. I could not help but stare at him, then look at Charles. With him going though his recovery treatment and I passing Andrew along, I wonder if I should shift my focus the youngest son of the Queen and Prince Phillip.
After the service, the four members of the royal family separately toured the garden party, meeting a large number of guests and despite grey clouds that threatened rain only a few spots fell. Before I left, Edward slipped a note into my palm. After I got in my car, I opened the note and read it. It said, "Meet me at the back gates of Edinburgh Castle at midnight tonight, Edward."
I knew where he was referring to and as midnight approached, I made my way to back gates of Edinburgh Castle, walking in the moonlight. I came to the ruins and as I approached Edward came out from behind a wall wearing a jacket, a light blue button up shirt with sand-colored boots. He turned toward me, smiled nervously, and motioned for me to follow him.
The journey across the grounds of the estate was unbearable. Cameras to dodge, security for the prince to nod away. But we found a small cottage and as soon were inside Edward pulled me towards him and kissing me passionately.
“Well, there’s a nice way of welcoming someone, Your Highness.” I grinned as I pulled back from Edward.
“Call me Edward, please.” He replied breathlessly, “I jacked off thinking about you often after that time in the woods. And no sign of you for months and here you are!”
“Sorry about that." I replied, “It has been a busy year dealing with your brother's affairs."
Dealing with both his brother's affairs, I thought, chuckling to myself as our eyes met, and he kissed me gently on the lips. I could feel the bulge growing in my shorts and could see Edward had noticed as well. With a twinkle in his eye, Edward kneeled and slid my pants and shorts off, throwing them onto a nearby chair.
"What a lovely cock." Edward crowed before he took all of my cock into his mouth. Then he tightened his lips and pressed with his tongue and slowly sucked his head up my shaft. Oh God! He repeated this again and again and my cock got harder and harder. Then his tongue was licking my head and under the ridge surrounding it. Damn, no problems about deep throating with this laddie. He just took me right in without hesitation.
“Oh, fuck yes.” I moaned in delight as I started to thrust, and face fuck the prince.
The feeling was electric and euphoric as he reached around and gently fingered my ass while sucking harder and fast on my cock. As much as I wanted to make it last, my body began to show him an orgasm was coming. He immediately changed course, got up from his knees and kissed me passionately.
Frantically, we both took off our remaining clothes. I partially unbuttoned his shirt and reached in. He wasn’t a bodybuilder by any means, but while his upper torso was wiry it was also surprisingly muscular, especially for a man his age. His chest had a little hair, compared to Charles and his nipples were cute and hard. I began licking one nipple, stroking his cock with one hand and feeling his ass with my other. His eyes told me he was enjoying me, but I wanted more. We both got properly on the bed, laying there with our arms around each other, stroking each other’s neck and shoulders.
I found his nipples again, and after lightly twisting the plump buds. I bent down to suck on them hard as they got plumper, going from side to side while his Edward ran his hand through my scalp. Back and forth I went, sucking on Edward’s nipples while the sounds of my suckling filled the air. His chest heaved as his breathing grew more rapid, working down his lean body until I reached his royal 8" cock which stood upright, surrounding by a cloud of brown fur.
My hand deftly peeled the crinkled foreskin down to expose the head, which my tongue toyed with until my mouth engulfed the cone. My lips slid down his shaft until they were buried in the pubes, and then I bobbed up and down the stiff dick, pausing occasionally to go down to the loose hanging balls as the prince’s legs churned in place. The end came far too soon for Edward as my skills coaxed his orgasm despite his best efforts to delay it.
That orgasm was exquisite however, as once it started it seemed to go on forever. Waves of pleasure kept rushing up and down his aged body as I kept sucking Edward’s dick long after he was drained.
“That was…” Edward said as he searched to find the words, and after failing simply pulled me close to him.
“I thought you weren't new to all of this.”
“I'm not," He replied, "but I have only been with three men before my marriage to Sophie and each has awakened me to more and more pleasure. I like the feel of a cock in my mouth, I enjoy feeling it spasm as I suck it dry. And only one of them had fucked me and I quite enjoyed it.”
I told him that I would be honored to be his second. He nodded his head yes like an excited puppy and turned onto his hands and knees. He spat into his hand and reached around to prepare his royal love hole. I slowly fingered his tight asshole, gently reaming him so he could accommodate my cock. I gently touched my head to his ass ring. I gently circled with it and then slowly thrust forward, he squeaked as I expanded his sphincter with my cockhead. Then he seemed to relax as I slowly pressed on until I was buried up to the hilt in his hot, tight ass. Just then, I started to thrust back and forth, inseminating my third prince.
There I was, fucking the 14th in line to the British throne, and loving every minute of it. We humped like a couple of dogs in heat. I reached down and grabbed the princely cock in my hand and jerked him as he rocked back and forth on my cock. I was stroking his cock and controlling the rhythm during this mind-blowing dance. I was approaching what would surely be an explosive orgasm, and Edward was reading it and responding to it expertly. His breathing quickened exactly in time with my own.
I could hold back no longer, and I soon blew my load into the prince, heaving with every ejaculation. We finished and collapsed to the bed, giggling like a couple of little girls.

Marie Of Lorraine, also called Mary Of Guise/ Marie De Lorraine, or De Guise was born on November. 22nd, 1515 at Bar-le-Duc, Lorraine, France.
I cover Marie three or four times a year, but this time I shall post about her palace at 533 Castlehill on the Royal Mile.
Born in 1515, at the age of 11 Marie joined a convent. Her stay was relatively brief because her uncle, the Duke of Lorraine, took her into the French court where she matured into a tall, attractive, intelligent woman with auburn hair and grey eyes and with a ‘charming manner’. In 1534 she entered the first of her two relatively short marriages: to the Duke of Longueville with whom she bore 2 sons. Marie was widowed on the death of her husband in 1537. With the encouragement of the French king, Francis I, Marie was betrothed to James V, and arrived in St Andrews to be married in the summer of 1538 whence followed 40 days of extravagant celebrations in honour of the occasion. She made her formal entry into the city of Edinburgh later in the year. As consort, Marie was guaranteed life-long rights (‘jointure’) to the Palace of Falkland, Stirling Castle, Linlithgow Palace, and other properties, together with substantial land holdings. By 1541 Marie had borne two sons, both of whom died in that year. In 1542, a daughter was born, the future Mary Queen of Scots: not the distant future given that her father died 6 days after her birth and the infant Mary thus became queen.
The Earl of Arran was appointed regent and governed during the turbulent years which followed, including the ‘rough wooing’ when an English invasion sought to force the Scots into accepting a marriage between Mary and Edward VI. Marie supported Arran and helped to maintain the effective alliance with France which eventually led to the withdrawal of the English army. In 1548, during the siege of Haddington, then occupied by an English garrison, Marie and the Scottish government signed the Treaty of Haddington at St Mary’s Abbey in which Mary was betrothed to the French Dauphin. In 1550/51 Marie travelled to France to complete the betrothal arrangements, among other things. On her return to Scotland, she set machinery in motion to replace Arran, buying him off with a French dukedom, and so became Queen Regent in 1554. Her regency lasted until her death at the age of 44 in 1560.
It is thought that Marie spent much of her time in residence at Blyth’s Close off Castle Hill, in the period before her regency 1543-1554. Blyth’s Close no longer exists, having been demolished around 1846 to make way for New College and the Assembly Hall. Its location on the north side of the High Street was roughly opposite the Lawnmarket and, in the mid -16th century, Marie’s house would have been a large, imposing property with gardens and orchards laid out on the slope down to the Norloch. The view to the north would have been open and expansive. In the 1820s and 30s the buildings in the close were in a dilapidated, crumbling state and the High Street was by then crowded with the high tenement buildings with which we are familiar today. Victorian antiquarians took a great interest in old Edinburgh and one among them, Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe, concerned about the state of the increasingly ruinous Queen Regent’s house, bought all salvageable fixtures and fittings from the tenants.
His collection included four carved oak roundels which had formed part of what had been a rich and colourful renaissance décor. By this time the roundels, having been moved from their original positions as ceiling or wall mounts, reapplied elsewhere and whitewashed over several times, had lost almost all trace of their original colours, but the carved coats of arms were (and still are) clear. Sharpe died in 1831 and his huge collection was auctioned off. Much was acquired by the National Museum, but not the roundels. These were purchased by the 2nd Duke of Sutherland. The duke seems to have been toying with the idea of using them as part of the interior décor of Dunrobin Castle. Apparently, they were never put on display in the castle and simply stored away. They finally came to light in a Dunrobin Castle attic sale in 2021, when Dr Groundwater was able to bid for them on behalf of the National Museum of Scotland. Her success cost around £19 000!
The roundels have been restored and are due to be going on display in The Kingdom of the Scots area in The National Museum of Scotland, I'm unsure if they have been put out as yet, maybe a wee trip to the museum is in hand to see, and get some pics.
As I said 533 Castlehill was demolished in 1861 to make way for the Free Church General Assembly Hall. Before demolition, portions of a beautifully painted ceiling from the palace were rescued and preserved. It's hard to imagine how the Palce looked, we have some drawings and Canmore have photos of some of the ceiling art, I shall post a link to, so you can look att more photos, the pioneering photographer duo, Hill and Adamson took a photo, as you can see in the stereoscope photos. The doorway is a remnant of the building. The last two photos are my own, taken just a week a go at r New College.

The Regent doesn't have to be the heir. When HM Queen Elizabeth ascended Charles was a minor, Princess Margaret should have been Regent if one was necessary, as she was the next adult in the LoS. On the wishes of the Queen a law was passed to make HRH The Duke of Edinburgh Regent if one was necessary.
Regency Act 1937
The Regent.
(1)If a Regency becomes necessary under this Act, the Regent shall be that person who, excluding any persons disqualified under this section, is next in the line of succession to the Crown.
(at this time Princess Margaret was the next adult in the Line)
Regency Act 1953
1953 CHAPTER 1 2 and 3 Eliz 2
An Act to provide that, in the event of a Regency becoming necessary under the Regency Act 1937, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh shall in certain circumstances be the Regent, to provide that the heir apparent or heir presumptive to the Throne shall be deemed for the purposes of that Act to be of full age if he or she has attained the age of eighteen years, to add Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother to the persons to whom royal functions may be delegated as Counsellors of State, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.
(of course HRH the Duke of Edinburgh wasn't in the line hence a new law was needed.)
I believe William will ask for the same law to be amended for Catherine to be Regent if one is necessary, if George is a minor when William ascends. Otherwise the next adult in the LoS is Prince Harry, and I doubt William will want him as Regent.
Hi LovelyCariad,
Thank you for clarifying the law. As I understand it, if a regency is needed now, Prince William is next in line to the throne so he would be the regent. A monarch can designate another person as regent is the heir is underage, but not if the heir is of age.
I think that Prince William will amend the law so Princess Catherine is regent if one is necessary for Prince George as well.

Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh
Physique: Average Build Height: 6'0" (183 cm)
Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, KG, GCVO, CD, ADC (Edward Antony Richard Louis; born 10 March 1964-) is a member of the British royal family. He is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and the youngest sibling of King Charles III. He was born 3rd in the line of succession to the British throne and is now 14th.
While not as desirable as Charles or Andrew, Edward does has something I’m finding attractive. Apparently in his youth, he was by far the most attractive British Royal to some and pinged to high heaven. What? He did work in theatre.
Married with two children, back in the early 90's, it's rumored he and some singer/actor were an item. Apparently it was the worst kept secret in town. Now with his parents are gone, his brother, King Charles III on a tear to economize the BRF and his other brother is a disgrace. Can Prince Edward finally live his true life? Rekindle the magic with his first real love? Keep a hot, ripped piece on the side (namely me). Indulge in his love of the (other) BBC without shame.

With the anon’s comment about no one wanting Charles’ medical information, I feel like a lot of the time when things happen in the Royal world anons and bloggers end up going into this in-depth analysis on things when really there’s not as much to it as they’re making it out to be. The theories discussed were about no one caring about Prince Philip’s details or Charles’ but obviously someone was tempted to see if they could find out what was going on with Kate simply because of the public interest and hysteria that’s going on. People have been made curious by the media hype. Plus, Charles made his condition public in the first place. Also, we could look at what happened with the Queen and there was little interest around her specific condition but that’s because the palace firmly went with the story all along (or implied) that it was just old age. Also the fact the Queen and Prince Philip were old so it was expected to see them deteriorating.
But why is there so much more public interest and hysteria about Kate in the first place, when Charles, Philip, and The Queen have gone through very similar things?
All Kate/KP did was make the same statement that they've all made: "The royal is in hospital X for surgery on {body part}. She will be in the hospital for X days. She is doing well."
The statement for the Queen's knee surgery:
The Queen this morning underwent a minor operation at the King Edward VII Hospital in London to remove a torn cartilage in her right knee. The 45-minute operation, which was performed by The Queen's orthopaedic surgeon Mr Roger Vickers, went very well and Her Majesty is expected to leave hospital tomorrow morning. Mr Vickers was assisted by Mr Adrian Fairbank. The anaesthetist was Dr Robert Linton and The Queen's physician, Dr Richard Thompson, was in attendance. The Queen is expected to be fully active again within a few weeks. Her Majesty will rest at Sandringham over the next two weeks and will then resume a limited programme of engagements until she has made a full recovery.
The statement for Philip's hip replacement:
"The Duke of Edinburgh has undergone a successful hip replacement operation. He is progressing satisfactorily at this early stage. His Royal Highness is likely to remain in hospital for several days. He is comfortable and in good spirits.”
The statement for Philip's abdomen surgery:
"His Royal Highness the duke of Edinburgh has been admitted to the London Clinic for an exploratory operation following abdominal investigations. He is expected to stay in hospital for up to two weeks. Further updates will be issued when appropriate. He is in very good health."
The statement for Margaret's lung surgery:
″Princess Margaret underwent an operation at the Brompton Hospital yesterday for the removal of a small area of her left lung which proved to be innocent. Her condition is satisfactory and it’s expected that she will leave hospital within the week.″
The statement for Sophie's emergency operation:
"Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex is currently recovering in the King Edward VII Hospital following an emergency operation. The Countess was taken to hospital by air ambulance after feeling unwell overnight. She is expected to stay in hospital for the next few days. The Earl of Wessex has been with the Countess following her operation. I cannot comment on the nature of the operation. Her condition is described as comfortable."
And yet, all this hysteria surrounding Kate. Why?
Misogyny.
It's nothing to do with Charles being more transparent about his condition. In fact, one would argue that Charles had to be more forthcoming because he's the head of state and there's an expectation of duty. Look at how much detail is in the statement about The Queen's knee operation compared to the rest. That's the same amount of detail provided in the first statement about Charles's health issue. He didn't need to provide further detail about the cancer diagnosis; the palace could've just deferred to the original statement that he had to postpone public engagements for recuperation since they never provided a timeline on what that recuperation was supposed to look like other than "short." But "short" can be subjective.
Edit: I fixed the {body party} typo. 🤦♀️
