I love how this in indivual is making a slide deck of first/ continued impression of tenipuri. TAKES ME BACK.

Every falls for Yukimura’s charm, resident sick but insanely powerful and evil boy. But I’ve come to really enjoy Sanada now that I’ve become older. FREE SANADA FROM HIS CAP👏👏👏 he’s so attractive without it. Konomi-sensei…..you made me not realize 🤣. Renji also had been more attractive this time around. HONESTLY i feel like of most teams Rikkai’s feels the most “high school forced into middle school” treatment. Stupid shonen jump.

Controversial opinion but I’ve never had strong opinions for Akaya. I think I’ve always had qualms against him for devil mode against Tachibana ( and honestly Yukimura just always using yips). Everyone loves the seaweed hair boy tho, and KiriAn is a fantastic pairing. Thank you, Neon Genesis. (But honestly MomoAn is still cute and I Stan that too). Marui’s always been a soft spot for me. Jackal i always feel bad for he’s def deserved better.

Now it's Rikkaidai's team time to shine! This also took more time than i expected especially Kirihara's, but as u know, this boy is how i've starting to realize how crazy and violent Prince of Tennis can be. On the other hand, his Gakupuri route is very cute especially his interaction with MC >v<

Sanada's route is also pretty great, seeing Yanagi helping Sanada and Nio helping MC spending more time with each other is really entertaining lmao. Yukimura has the least screentime and the shortest route in Gakupuri because of his condition, which is understandable but i wanna see more of him but oh well.....

Speaking of which, Jackal should have his own route. I was kinda surprised when i first learned that he's not dateable in the game.

- YUKIMURA

• They meet every afternoon after practice to discuss how it went and how to improve.

• Noone knows exactly when it happened, but the clubroom is now filled with his s/o favourite flowers.

• They're both quite scary when people are not training as hard as they should. And if separated they are powerful, together they are a force of nature to be reckoned.

• His s/o cuddles with him whenever they can. Publicly or not, they don't care. But Yukimura is totally fine with that.

- SANADA

• PDA? What's that?

• Sanada will always help his s/o in everything they need. Be it paperwork or anything else.

• During Yukimura's stay at the hospital, their s/o forced him to take a day off when they knew he was particularly down. Sanada complained endlessly, of course, but when it came to his health, his s/o wouldn't give up.

• If his s/o ever as much as hugged him in front of someone he got flustered and flushed red.

- RENJI

• Comes up with the best formations and helps his s/o a lot.

• Doesn't mind staying after hours to help them with documents.

• Will always listen to them and go with their plan, even if he thinks it has room for improvement.

• Somehow, his s/o plans always surpass his data.

• Won't show public displays of affection asides from stroking their hair or something of the sort in passing.

- AKAYA

• Clings to them whenever he's not playing.

• If he gets into Devil mode at a bad time his s/o simply kisses his cheek and he calms down. Instantly.

• Will help them with moral support, but that's it. He doesn't know how to handle all the needed documents. His s/o really appreciates his presence, though. So it's fine.

• He gets very flustered with displays of affection, but he loves them.

- MARUI

• When Marui has a great match they treat him to sweets afterwards. So he really increases his dedication to training.

• He will help as much as needed as long as he gets sweets or kisses out of it.

• Yes, he likes PDA. A lot. Almost as much as Niou if not more. So he will come to kiss his s/o after every match, or a particularly intense training or... Just because, really.

• If anyone (coughSanadacough) complains about it, his excuse his always the same "Oh, but fukobuchou, I need the sweetness, remember?" Somehow it works.

- NIOU

• They prank each other. At first it was just Niou pranking them, but they decided that was enough.

• They get on Sanada's nerves A LOT

• Niou steals kisses every time he wins and is also a lot into PDA so he spends more time hugging his s/o than actually training.

• That is, of course, until their s/o tells him that if he loses next match he won't get any more kisses until next month.

• His reply is "Puri~" but the next day he's, surprisingly, the first to get into the locker room and start training. So it seems it worked after all.

• He will try to run off whenever their s/o asks for help, but in the end he always ends up helping.

- YAGYUU

• He brings their s/o tea whenever they're working. And will help in anything if asked.

• Somehow this is the only "route" where Niou doesn't tease you. Because he knows Yagyuu can be way worse when provoked and noone would ever know it was him.

• He's not one fond of PDA, but he will hug you from behind from time to time, leaning his head on your shoulder. And if you ever initiate something he will reply in kind.

- JACKAL

• At first he thought their s/o was with Marui because the three spent a lot of time together after training and to him that was the logical conclusion.

• One day though Marui asked you out on a date... With Jackal. They said yes, while Jackal stood there dumbfounded. But hey, he wasn't going to complain, he was really happy about it.

• Will help them a lot in everything they need.

• He's not usually one to initiate public displays of affection, but he won't hesitate to give them back if their s/o initiates them.

- URAYAMA

• Is constantly around their s/o, like a puppy.

• He doesn't help them because he doesn't know how to. But he always pays attention to what they're doing so he can learn.

• By the time of the nationals he actually knows enough to actually help.

• He doesn't exactly ask for kisses, but their s/o will give him butterfly ones when he walks by because he's adorable.

• He trains a lot to impress them.

The Emperor’s Walls (Ch. 1: Holey Wall!)

When playing chess, capturing the enemy’s king to win is the main priority. However, protecting your own king is also equally as important. And that is the rule of Rikkai: To emerge as the victor and remain invincible. Therefore, to protect himself, the Emperor of Rikkai built walls around his land and forbid anyone to walk in or out of them. Contact between the two lands separated was strictly prohibited. The walls he took pride in were as tall as the Emperor’s castle and as far as the eyes can see.

Night. It is the time between dusk and dawn, where all diurnal animals settle down for the day and where all their nocturnal counterparts come out from hiding to roam and hunt.

Night. The time where secrets are guarded heavily, as you may never know who is there to eavesdrop on you. It is the time where the Sun and its people rest and the opportunities to defy laws and traditions arise.

A hidden figure darted through the bushes, careful to remain hidden by the cover of the night. A pair of hands groped around the sacred wall, gently shaking each stone until it rattles. The hands made quick work of repeating the same motions until a sizeable amount of bricks laid on the ground by the perpetrator’s feet. A snap of branches breaking stopped any ministration as alert ears perked to detect any other sound.

Footsteps far away could be heard, and they were coming closer. The figure ran back to the cover of the dark just before a foot soldier came round the corner for midnight patrol. “The wall has been breached!” He cried. “Inform the emperor immediately!” A small army of soldiers quickly made their way back towards the castle.

Emperor Sanada Genichirou sat quietly on his zafu doing his midnight meditation when his loyal knight suddenly bursts in. “Emperor Sanada!” The young man called out.

Emperor Sanada opened his eyes slowly to look at his intruder. “What is it, Kirihara the Wild?” he asked, looking right into emerald green eyes beneath the shaggy ebony hair. His annoyance was held at bay in case the knight brought important news.

“Ho-Holy Wall!” Kirihara the Wild gasped. He had his hands on his knees and was bent over, struggling to catch his breath after running to his lord.

The Emperor only frowned. “I beg your pardon?” he prompted, waiting patiently for his young knight to calm down to answer him. A knock on his door interrupted their conversation and a nobleman poked his head in.

“My apologies for the intrusion, my lord, but it seems that someone has attacked the walls. The Eastern Gate has suffered a rather massive damage.” His eyes then drifted toward the youngest of the three. “But it seems to me that Kirihara the Wild must have informed you about it earlier.”

“But that’s what I said, Yagyuu the Gentle!” Kirihara protested. “Holey wall!”

Yagyuu the Gentle sighed and shook his head. “Your choice of words are incorrect as usual, Kirihara the Wild,” he remarked to the youngest among the three of them.

Emperor Sanada held up a hand to claim the duo’s attention. “Kirihara, you are to make sure that no one enters or leaves through the walls! Yagyuu, See to it that everyone is unharmed and evacuate them to the nearest shelter!” He barked the orders at the two who responded with a curt “Yes, my lord”. 

“I am going to see the Master,” he announced before acknowledging the other two’s bows and excused them to leave.
