Do you have any examples of Brittany's accent in the Fire Island verse and Bellamy's in In the Silence?
Brittany’s accent is very similar to mine, but it’s hard to pinpoint a celebrity with a similar accent--so many celebs are from Nassau County, which is a completely different accent from Suffolk County. The way I write her accent is pretty phonetic, a lot of dropped “g’s,” combined words, and “ya” instead of you. If I come across someone who sounds like her, I’ll post a video!
I think Bellamy sounds most like Hillary Baack, if you want to look her up!

Sound of metal: un viaje sensitivo por el camino de la aceptación
Sinopsis: Ruben (Riz Ahmed), un baterista del under, pierde rápidamente la audición y debe suspender una gira programada junto a su novia y cantante, Lou (Olivia Cooke). El incidente lo pondrá en contacto con una comunidad de sordos, liderada por Joe (Paul Raci), con la que deberá aprender a adaptarse a su nueva forma de vida y asimilar su condición.
Sound of metal recurre a una gran originalidad para relatar el drama interno de un personaje terco y desfachatado, cuya frustración marca el camino para hacer de la historia algo imprevisible. Probablemente la idea más acertada y mejor ejecutada de toda la película, y quizás una de las que dio origen al proyecto, sea mostrar los sucesos desde la subjetividad más profunda del personaje principal, no solo desde su perspectiva visual sino también auditiva. las dificultades que experimenta Ruben son transmitidas directamente por un gran trabajo en la edición sonora, que sumado a un montaje dinámico que alterna entre planos generales y primeros planos se ofrece un contrato fácilmente asimilable para el público. Estos aspectos técnicos se apoyan, también, en una gran interpretación de Riz ahmed, que con simples gestos y muecas puede demostrar las contradicciones que afronta el personaje en determinados momentos, como desazón, ira, impotencia e ironía; para pasar luego a una violenta expresividad física.
Otro de los atractivos del film reside en en la construcción de este personaje, y cómo sus inesperadas y nuevas condiciones lo acercan hacia un nuevo mundo totalmente ajeno y distinto, el cual se rehúsa a habitar. Él, un adicto que lleva cuatro años limpio y atravesado por una vida nómade producto de las giras de la banda que forma junto a su pareja (que parece ser su único cable a tierra); choca con una comunidad con un ritmo de vida mucho más calmo y simple, y sin comunicación con el mundo exterior. Los valores que ésta predica se verán reflejados en el duro aprendizaje de Ruben, que con continuas contradicciones le resulta difícil decidirse entre asimilar su inminente nueva forma de vida o aferrarse a su pasado rockero. Son estas contradicciones lo que torna su futuro algo difícil de prever, ya que su carácter impulsivo y renegado lo llevan a actuar casi de sorpresa para recuperar lo que tenía, al mismo tiempo que parece adaptarse a las nuevas reglas de juego y a interiorizar los valores compartidos entre sus pares. Si bien el trabajo de Riz Ahmed es el más arriesgado y complejo, también hay que destacar las labores de sus partenaires, que construyen junto a él un universo diferente al hegemónico pero muy realista. Olivia Cooke protagoniza las escenas de mayor carga dramática, y su transformación física dota de una impronta mucho más acabada y oscura del mundo en el que estaba inmerso Ruben. Paul Raci, por su parte, expresa con profunda naturalidad una sordera ya interiorizada y superada, mostrando seguridad en el lenguaje de señas y una solemnidad digna de un líder. Es en la oposición entre estos personajes donde también se refleja esa dicotomía que tanto atraviesa a Ruben a lo largo de la película. Sound of metal propone acompañar de la manera más íntima posible el cambio de hábitos de un personaje singular, que de manera repentina pero verosímil comienza un viaje del que aún no está convencido y del que, al mismo tiempo, no tiene escapatoria.
