Two drawings i did in june / july of 2023 of the Frostcup x His Dark Materials AU

I was supposed to post like other 2 drawings + sketches alongside these but got frustrated with the light ksadjkajd i still have the clip file just in case i decide to try again. A little bit of confusing info under the cut vvv

In this AU Jack and his sister are from a world where the human soul takes the form of an animal (daemon). A daemon can change form into any kind of animal when you are a kid. It' s final form gets settled when you grow up. Jack's daemon name is Ventisca, and his sister's is Mito.

This AU is Jack who is in Jordan Colleague working in the kitchens to provide for his family until he hears about children going missing and then the news of the disappearance of his sister and joins the gyptians to search for them.

In his search he encounters Hiccup, a soon to be scholar who is researching the dragons and their culture. If you watched the series or read the books, let's say that the dragons are like the armored bears. They soon team up to find jack's sister and find out what is going on.

She got kidnapped with many other children to be used in experiments about the relationship between humans and daemons. She is almost in the role of Lyra from the books. She also is the one to get the alethiomether.

I'm checking my obsidian folders and most of my notes are more of Jack's sister story than Hiccup and Jack *cries*

THIS WAS SUCH A RANDOM IDEA BUT PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!

Rise of the brave tangled dragons x Spider-Man AU where Hiccup is in Peter Parker's place meaning he got bitten by the spider and turned into a superhuman. Jack, even being his best friend, doesn't know about it.

They're both in college, Hiccup is in some STEM major, Jack is in arts, but they're roomates. Jack visits Hiccup often at his lab but one day he ends up messing with an experiment that was using pure liquid nitrogen. The accident gives Jack not only terrible frostbites in his face, hands and basically everywhere else, but also gives him the ICONIC ice powers.

I was planning to make it a little more simple by making Jack just be the Green Goblin (II) to keep him close to being the Harry Osborn of the story, but I decided to make him a slightly more original "villain" by giving him a backstory related with his actual powers. Anyway, you can see I also took inspo from Dane's Green Goblin for the very simple desing I made-

thinking about hijack rivals to lovers figure skater/hockey player au where Jack, the champion figure skater, is always challenging Hiccup, captain of the hockey team, to see who can “skate better” after their practices and Hiccup is constantly fed the fuck up with him. like i imagine Jack trying to make Hiccup do those tiktoks where hockey skaters and figure skaters race each other because he enjoys pissing off hockey players and Hiccup is cute entertaining when he’s mad. Hiccup only agrees because Jack says that he’s a “not fun loser” when he says no. which is a total insult to Hiccup’s rule breaking track record (making stupid ballsy plays when they’re behind so they have a better shot at winning when he always gets in trouble for it later, even if it works). at first they really get on each other’s nerves their twinning sarcasm and refusal to back down clashing heads, but the more time they spend together they get to know each other beyond just surface level and Hiccup starts to find Jack’s playfulness endearing and see the intelligence behind his little tricks and games and Jack starts to realize Hiccup’s intensity is passion and love for what he does and he adores it.

Quick hijack mermaid au sketch for MerMay

Old(er) Hijack Au in which Jack lived his human life during the 1700's and became a spirit at his late forties or early fifties. His previous memories remain intact. Three hundred and a half years later, Jack, self appointed old homeless (human) person, meets Hiccup, national park ranger (and self appointed hermit). Keep reading below.

Jack has been developing his powers for some time now. Since the way in which he became a spirit didn't permanently stunt his growth and emotional stability forever at the tender and hormonal age of 18, Jack became able to control his powers way sooner and better. It didn't take long for him to become a guardian this time around, so he's had the reigns of things for a while now. -The Guardian's belief system works different for Jack. He's a seasonal spirit. He's Winter incarnate. People not only believe in winter, but know it true. So, he gets the bonus of being able to be seen by the overal populace, only lightly. Like passing by a stranger in the street and forgetting two seconds after, people can see Jack, but not quite. Perfect for pranks. -As Jack's powers developed, his staff (yes, he still has his staff. its part of his personality) also did. It grew a little more than in canon. A little wilder. -Unfortunately for Jack, he's made a name for himself in the spirit world. Worse: a good one. He's busy with winter and Guardian duties all year long. So occasionally, he'll sneak out, dress up like no one's business, and launge around, pulling tricks for shits and giggles. -"What do you mean OLD man winter? Im not old, what do you mean old. No, being 300 yrs doesn't count." -Jack is a regular at a cafeteria that's mostly empty during sundays. The lady owner at the counter feels like she's known him for years but never seems able to remember since when. For some reason, she know's the man's order by heart, but only when she sees him enter the shop. She thinks he's fun and mischivious and joyful, but also has sad eyes. -Jack knows her since she's ten. -Hiccup met Jack because Jack had fallen asleep on a bench. Jack, for reference, doesn't breathe. Hiccup nearly had a heart attack, called the ambulance because some guy had died in middle of the park, until said guy woke up and Hiccup nearly had a second.

About the characters:

Jack is an orphan. His only family is his older brother, Nightlight.

Just like game canon, Hiccup runs away. Stoick keeps pressuring about how he would take over someday, and it scared him off.

Toothless is a cat droid Hiccup invented, basing off the first cat Hiccup ever owned.

North was one of the Department heads, until Pitch had him replaced. He was the one who told Nightlight about Project Dreams, later tweaked by Pitch when he added the his 'Nyx' program to the code.

Not a robot... Or a rabbit, Aster's loyalty was to North, the Haddocks being secondary. Although, he and Astrid belonged to the same department.

Astrid was a security guard who was promoted as head of security because of her hard work and diligence. Shortly after that, Pitch somehow managed to become head CEO.

Some plotpoints not following any particular order:

Instead of Project Armstrong, it's called 'Project Dreams.' Furthermore, 'Spectra' is now 'Nyx.'

Jack's 'defect' isn't a prosthetic arm but a Chronic illness. Nightlight hoped that Project Dreams would be the miraculous cure his brother needed. Jack was sceptical, and only agreed to give it a try because he loved his brother. Also, he figured he had nothing else to lose.

Until there was.

After the complication during Jack's treatment, he developed ice powers. Since he is a defect, if they don't reverse the effects soon, his heart will be frozen and basically stop.

Jack's hair slowly turns white, indicating how much time he has.

Jack's hair turns completely white when he uses his powers, but it doesn't stay white.

Until of course it does if they don't reverse the effects and he's dead.

Jack's initial approach when meeting Hiccup: playful flirting that doesn't mean anything.

The approach as he slowly understood his situation: annoyance.

They banter a lot.

Thinking about my Hijack Doctor Who AU idea again and the potential for Stoic, Valka, and Hiccup as Jackie, Pete, and Rose. JUST LIKE THINK ABOUT IT

Hiccup wanting to see his mum one last time, and Frost as the Doctor taking him because he can't say no to him (just like the Doctor can't say no to Rose) AND THEN TWENTY YEARS LATER (for stoic) MEETING AGAIN BUT IT'S A PARALLEL VERSION!!!!!! It's worse than I thought you were dead it is you were dead but now your back AND IT WORKS FOR THEM SO WELL!!!

Also, again, Stoic getting to slap Frost in that one scene the way Jackie slapped the Doctor
